TGI Fridays in Philadelphia

I’ve visited this location a couple of times. Usually not very busy during the day but the last time it took 15 minutes just for us to get our drinks. We ordered. The food came in about 20. The soup was good. The burger was average. Server was busy.

Worst experience i ever had with my family and it was on the holidays. Food wasnt done waited 20 min for appitizer . never got it .was told it would be taken off and it wasnt. The food was horrible. Dont go there at night its the worst. Babies crying and running all around it was crazy. Staff just do not care wont recommend to my enemy. All the night staff that waited on me would be fired if i ran that place. Dont pass go, dont stop. And definitely dont eat there.

Place ran down a lot since when I use to go there years ago. You would think the location match the staff. I didnt know if they was working or partying. My food came out dry and then they gave me the wrong order. The hostess didnt even know her tables and wasnt even there to greet us when we arrived. The carpet was dirty and the booth needed to be cleaned properly there is a virus going around. Plus,the bathroom is horrible I wouldnt dare no one to even touch the doorknob. I was ready to go and I had front row seats to look at who was coming in and out of the kitchen. So they really need to pay more attention.

I enjoyed dinner with my daughters. The wait staff was attentive and our server, Lanya was phenomenal and was on point the entire time. Food was also great and was a a very laid back atmosphere. Big difference from the one on City Ave. Will come to this site from now on. -Fox

The wait time was a little long to be seated we were told that it was due to late staff. Our waiter was great with and about everything. He was a little overwhelmed due to the volume of customers that evening. Overall, he did a great job. The crispy chicken tenders were sent back because they were hard and dry but the entire entree was made over again for us to be satisfied and they were delicious.

Had a great dinner with the family

We had the server Kiersten. She was great. She recommended the perfect drink for my date and I. The food was great! I’ll definitely come back to this location. And Kiersten was so nice and friendly.

Abysmal, to say the least. Ushered us to sit in an unheated waiting area with an infant when there were tables in view. Waited in that area for around 20 minutes for the busser to clear an already clear table. When we were finally seated we received no specials menu. No water. And another 10 minute wait to even be greeted by a server. Ordered drinks. 10 minutes to get water. 25 minutes to get a flat Stella 40 minutes for 3 appetizers. No water refills. And not to mention the cleanliness issues.Just save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Had the most amazing time! Staff was on top on everything our waiter Jay was very attentive of us and so nice. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The staff made my birthday amazing with their vibrant energy! Can’t wait to come back again for another amazing experience! Best way to end my Sunday before finals.

If you go here be very aware if youre using a credit card. My waiter was real friendly but at the end of the night he decided to take himself a tip on top of the tip that I had already given him. He ran my card twice, once was for the bill and the other was for his additional tip that I did not approve. So if you do decide to go here keep an eye on your bank statement.

Great service - delicious appetizers & meals & the deserts wow!!! Huge rooftop balcony! Our waitress Tierra was fast, made sure we had everything we needed & then some!!

1 star is being generous. Thought it would be a good idea to get endless apps and $5 drinks with a party of 3; wow was that the worse mistake I have made. To start out the hostess was rude because we asked to sit upstairs. Then it took over a hour each time we wanted a round of appetizers. Even the drinks took 30 minutes. The manager said “he would take care of it” yet the bill wasn’t changed, nor was the service. The waitress was unable to split the bill and then ended up charging the same card twice. I can say with great confidence that this is the worst service I have ever had. I usually think TGIF is a somewhat safe option when going to dinner, but I will certainly stand clear of the center citylocation and I highly recommend you do the same.

I have never had service so terrible. So many issues from the time we arrived. We requested to move to the roof and were given quite the attitude for it. Ordered endless apps and took over an hour for each round, over 30 mins for each round of drinks. Asked the waitress to split the bill and was informed that it would be difficult and may take a while. When informing the manager of these issues he said he would address the issues. Nothing was done and the bill was not even split. The waitress then billed my card for everyone in the party, then charged it again without informing us of the mistake. Would not recommend this establishment.

Very unfriendly hosts. Good server.. Very accommodating. The place is nasty. Trash was over-flowing in the waiting area before being seated and the rest room was also a mess with over flowing trash. The food was awful...dont know how theyre passed by the dept of health.Again...our server did everything he could to be helpful and accommodating.

Its a really nice location. Super convenient and very easy to find. The service here was great. They were attentive and responsive. I was there for lunch with a colleague and they were accommodating to my need to wait for them to arrive. They sat me by the window which made the dining atmosphere superb. People Watching should be an Olympic sport, but Ill say that the TGI Fridays window looking out on the Ben Franklin parkway is a great spot for it.I got there around 12:30 on a Friday, and I will say I felt a little pressure as the meal was wrapping up an hour or so later to leave, but there were still open tables in our section, so I didnt understand the need to have us move so soon. So I ended up buying a dessert in order to feel that continuing our conversation was justified. In the end, however, the entire meal was so affordable that when I paid for myself, my colleague, and the dessert, it didnt break the bank at all. So all in all, you cant go wrong with this menu filled with options, the location, the service.

Understaffed. Portion size of fries smaller (as Ive ordered the same entree before and had more on the platebut the manager insisted it was the same portion size. Waited over 20 minutes after food was served for utensils so food was on the cold side. Server was overwhelmed with tables but I noticed other employees pacing back and forth outside for about 45 minutes. To make matters worse this was all done on my girlfriends birthday so she was not pleased in the slightest. Just an unpleasant day.

We were told it would be a 30 minute wait max, which ended up being 45 minutes. We get inside and realize there might be a dozen tables sat and people at the bar. Clearly understaffed or just poor at managing. We then wait 15 minutes to get drinks and even order our food. The waitress brings 2/3 drinks, then comes back 10 minutes later with a non alcoholic drink she had to get from the bar. We finally order and it takes them 30 minutes to bring out our appetizer (30 minutes for green beans??), and then another 15 to get any food. She AGAIN brings out 2/3 meals, which are like warm. We have to wait 10 more minutes for the last person in our party to get their food, a "sizzler", which is cold. We asked for boxes immediately so we could leave, and instead of taking the check right there seeing we were clearly agitated, the waitress runs off again. I had to get up, walk over to the bar and hand them my card to get someone to give me some service. We should have walked out. Terrible service, bad food. Would give this less than one star if I could. I love TGI Fridays and this location left a horrid taste in my mouth, I hope they shut them down.

The only thing good is the location, if this service and staff went to any other location they would fail. They probably dont get much repeat customers due to being in a tourist location so the dont care about customer satisfaction. It took forever get our drinks. Our food took about 45 min and all we ordered was burgers and Mac and cheese. I took one bite and realize they messed up on my order. It took 10 minutes until the waitress showed up to see how our food was and I told her that my burger was not what I ordered. After my entire family was almost done eating I asked about my order and she said that she will check on it and see if they could move me to the front of the line... I thought thats what happens when you mess up an order but thats only at good restaurants. Once my family finished their entire meals I just canceled my order. When. The manager brought me the bill she didnt even apologize she just informed me that she could take my payment as she stood their waited.

Horrible and SLOWWWW service. Took 40min to get our drinks and food. Our waiter... waitress... who knows because there were 3 of them... never came by to see if we needed anything. The place was pure chaos and everyone was running around like chickens without heads. The hostess took our order and it was clearly not something shes ever done. She knew NOTHING about the menu, though she was very sweet. Food was cold and rubbery-like. Never again!

TGI Fridays On The Parkway was a 4 out of 5 stars simply because of the minor things to me. Isaiah is a excellent 5 star waiter. However, he forgot to bring us utensils to eat with and it took forever for my dessert to come out. The drinks were the mango henny punch which is amazing !!!!!! The food was good as well. I am a happy camper for this to Ever be my first time EVER eating at TGI Fridays keep up the good work everyone !!!!! I hope to come again and possibly update my review. Good luck !!!!!

The food wasnt good at all. They sent regular sour cream with the fried green beans which was disgusting. My stomach is now upset. I think they charge way too much for the food to be so distasteful. Im pretty certain that was the last time Ill eat from there. It was carry out

The wait was longer than projected, our waitress didnt come to the table until I asked another waitress if we were in her section and she advised we werent but she would get her. Lastly not all of our food came to the table at the same time so 1 person in our party of 3 waited as long as he could to eat but eventually had to start without us because his microwaved celery and chicken tenders were getting cold.

The only reason this place even deserves one star is because of how kind and understanding the manager was when we had to complain because of how awful our service was. Our waiter was so rude and rolled his eyes at us when our orders were screwed up. Some of our food was cold, our drinks were not refilled ONCE, our waiter never once asked us how our food was or if we needed anything, and my cousins meal was wrong THREE times!!! And the third time it was still not right, but she was so starving she had to just eat it. When we asked our rude waiter to speak to the manager, he threw his arms up and said fine. Thankfully the manager was very accommodating and kind and took my cousins meal off the check completely without hesitation, but none of us will ever go back here again.

Terrific! I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Im not big on chain restaurants but this was so good and under $20 bucks for these dishes!

Great food and service but the lose 2 stars cause theres only one bathroom and it was dirty

This place getting worst than our last visit, the food come out 45 minutes and the half baby back ribs very disappointed. Its meatless. The manager said will take care of it but nothing happened.

Usually Im not very happy with fridays but I decided to give them another chance since they were having the 2 for 20 special. The wait was very short even though it was crowded, which was great, the food came out quick and tasted amazing. Only problem was my burger was damn near raw but once they fixed it, the burger tasted amazing. Definitely stop by to enjoy an amazing meal.2 apps2 entrees2 desserts!! And way better than applebees at the moment.

My husband and I came here for dinner since we were staying at the hotel. Just terrible! The service was incredibly slow. It took forever for our drinks, appetizers then our dinner to come out. The total time we were there from the time we put our name in until we left, was 1 hour and 40 min. Our food was not too great, either. Our fries were cold and not "seasoned ". Our meat was overcooked and the shrimp were like rubber.We came here about 3 yrs ago and had a bad experience then, too. We though it was just a 1 time thing. We were wrong. We will not be back and I dont recommend going here if you are Looking for a true TGI Fridays experience.

Buffalo chicken wings had no sauce. They didn’t have any soda available. Took a hour for the pasta and the waitress had it sitting for a long time. Save your money.

They cook better towards the end of the night and Drinks arent as weak either.... Sounds backwards but its a huge difference in the quality of the food and service. So I stopped going for happy hour and use this Fridays as a late night eatery.

We really loved Cynthia as our server, she was incredible. However, the quality of the food (the butt end of a head of lettuce, pasta looking ...odd--unrecognizable from the photo in the menu, upon our second visit, the speed was slowed so much that we missed other engagements. It was crazy! (Like 20 to 30 mins for waterregardless, I liked the location and comfy seats. Other items we ordered were just fine.

Fine if you dont have any food allergies.Service was extremely slow when visiting. I am someone with food allergies, and our waitress was extremely attentive to the needs.However.The kitchen staff ignored the allergy alerts and still served food that contained something I am allergic to, and I caught it before eating, thankfully. Ended up eating nothing as a result. Wouldnt return.

Every body was unprofessional even down to management had a waiter by the name of AUGUST who service was unforgettable and not in a good way I mean in the worst way possible!!!!! She was vary mean, spiteful, and calculated...she even started waiting our table slow on purpose to be vindictive b/c we complained abt our food being cold. and had us waiting there for hours literally just to get a kick out of it.. bad hospitality ... if you want to have a wonderful dine in experience and enjoy your meal I advise that you not dine in / eat here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think that the staff was not trained properly on how to work in a restaurant, appearance, behavior , words and tones. Again, age may play a factor but these children are the future. Was the worse experience in 20yrs of going to Fridays. They said it was a 20min wait to see if we would leave like others before us, when in fact we were seated promptly and the place was not crowded. My order was incorrect because the waiter was talking faster than she was listening, my sizzling chicken meal came hot but cheese was burnt instead of that perfect fried cheese that you can pick up with the meal. Keep in mind age may play a factor but these children are the future we need to show them and start holding them accountable..start with the golden rule!

Good food, great ambience, good service, good drink selections. Even impressed by the veggie appetizers. $5 drinks are decent for the price. The staff do a good birthday cheer if thats your kinda thing.

Went in there with a group of students for work. We had 9 people - 4 students and 5 adult workers. Our server was very friendly and courteous. She was not very knowledgeable of the menu, however. After the orders were taken a few major details were forgotten (such as what kind of sauce would you like on your boneless wings). I waited 22 minutes for a French onion soup and we ended up waiting a total of 50 minutes for our orders. At no point in that 50 minutes did our waitress come by and let us know what was happening with our food, nor did she come by for drink refills. Steaks were ordered, so there should have been A1 automatically put on the table- but there was not. After my boss hunted down a worker (there were none in sightshe asked what was going on with the food, were we told when our food would be ready. We were on a schedule and only had 90min for lunch. The restaurant was not busy at all.When we finally got our meal, the waitress NEVER did a check back to make sure our food was ok. If she did, she would have noticed that 3 of the meals were cold and not being eaten. We finished and sat and waited for our plates to be cleared by a waitress we hadnt seen in a solid 20 minutes. We ended up being there for 2 hours. A solid hour of that was waiting for either food or service.I would recommend the staff being trained a little better on table side ediquette and menu knowledge. Aside from that, everything was good and the staff was very polite throughout the entire meal.

Was told there was a 15 minute wait for a table which was no problem. But it was more like 25 minutes to be seated. I noticed a lot of empty tables as I was being seated. Waited about 45 minutes for food to come out after order was taken. Was told buy the server the reason for the wait was that the kitchen was backed up.

Long story short: Sat down at 11:25 pm. Brittany, my server, was great and very nice. Ordered the chicken bourbon. Received food at 11:55pm. Got to my hotel and discovered this disgusting piece of food. What kind of incompetent chief would possibly put this into a box to be knowingly sent out to a customer?? It’s beyond me. Restaurant was closed so I couldn’t take it back. I see why the restaurant has sub-standard reviews. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you want overpriced, microwaved food, then look no further.

Love the balcony seating and bar, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was great. The only issue that I had was the bathroom cleanliness, smelled very bad and looked dirty. Honestly if I saw it before I ate, I wouldve gone somewhere else, but not knowing about it until after the meal was a good thing because food was good. Because of good f9od and nice staff I still give it 4 stars. (Sizzling chicken and shrimp 👍👍)

The worst Fridays I ever been to. Server was good hostess was the worst, didnt give me a feel of being in a business district. On a sidenote other server looked unprofessional with a scarf on #pic is of our food after being sent back because it didnt have cheese on it,

I got there at 11PM. It took a normal 15-25 minute wait time, no complaint. I took the time to browse the menu until I was seated. Ive had some bad experiences with other locations of TGIF once @ BENSALEM & one in Orlando florida. I needed to write a review because I really enjoyed the service and food here. The staff here was friendly, our waiter was great. I also will like to add that the kitchen staff was on point, I say that because no mistakes were done, everything was cooked correctly, nothing was done fast.I will definitely will be coming again to this location. Thank you

Family Friendly atmosphere and people, pricing is reasonable considering how big the dishes actually are. The food taste incredible, my kids would agree! Try ending your night with the punk pink drink for a quick fun buzz, the bucket of bones was great as a meal for $20 too bad I was full I would of loved a dessert. I will definitely return for the store dessert drink

This restaurant deserves no stars. They need to be shut down. The service is horrible. Our waiter Cynthia was very rude and sarcastic. Apparently they changed their ID policy, which the ID can’t be vertical to order drinks which is the dumbest policy I’ve heard. Cynthia was very rude about the situation instead of explaining it in a nice way. And I’m a very understanding person but don’t but so ignorant about it. She stood by our table the entire time we were looking through the menu, we weren’t even seated for a whole minute yet and she was already asking what we wanted to eat and she kept coming back every second to ask the same question. We eventually got up and left and went to better place with awesome customer service. I will not be going back there. They need an entire staff revamp.

The service could of been a lot better. I was with a group in which there was 12 of us. We only had one waiter rather than 2. It took an hour for the appetizers to come and another hour for the main dishes to come. In total weve waited over 2 hours to eat. And on top of that, the bathrooms werent clean and outside balcony was dirty. You would expect a restaurant in center city to be more cleaner and professional.Whats keeping me from giving this a 1 review is the manager. Who I believe gave everyone a discount after the lackluster service and apologized for it.

Just had lunch today and the experience was excellent!! Our server was kind and exceptional at her job!! Hate that I cant remember her name but she was awesome!! Will DEFINITELY be back again!

I ordered takeout. I walked up, saw this unsanitary kitchen snapped a few pics and walked away. No one wore gloves. Shoes on the floor. The refrigerator left open. At least 5 people walked by and did not greet me. Im tempted to call L&I

The ribs was delicious and reasonable price. The waitress was very nice and helpful too.

I came for dinner last night and it was good. Not great, but good. The ribs were meaty. Im visiting Philly and this place is super convenient so I came back for lunch. Ordered a cheeseburger, well done. When I bit into it, it was raw in the middle. Then, I tried the French onion soup. It was cold. The manager took them off my bill, which I appreciated. The bartender was the best part of my experience, as she was super apologetic and friendly. I would come back for drinks, but NOT FOOD.
