TGI Fridays in Nanuet

I went with my family, the six of us. The burgers were good and half the wings were cold. my wife didnt get her order. and it took them about 20 minutes to give us water. sorry, cannot recommend a place that gives service this way.

So satisfying to eat at this location. Had an issue with one of my orders and some guy named Tito came out and addressed the issue and took care of it promptly. Had a misunderstanding with the waitress the food was not correct it wasn’t exactly what I ordered I guess she didn’t hear me correctly. Tito assured me everything would be handled and taken care of and gave me a free soda. But the whole attentiveness had me by surprise super polite staff. Recommend this location to the fullest.

Somehow empty and incredibly slow at the same time. Super high staff turnover.

Karl worst manager. Burned ribs served and only gave me 10%off. Table next to us got raw chicken.

One of the worst fridays. All the food is old, even the kids menu items served are the once which are reheated multiple times.

Excellent food and drink deals. Cant go wrong. Inexpesive and staff was great!

I had a very disappointing experience. To start off the menu was xeroxed and stapled together on low quality printer paper in black and white with no pictures. The bottom of the menu was cut off. Made it look very unprofessional. They no longer serve the French Onion Soup which i had been getting for 20 years. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pasta and the sauce had a very overwhelming Parmesan flavor. I love cheese but this was simply too strong. I was not able to finish it. To top it all off the prices are very high. I will not be going back until they bring back the French Onion Soup.

Staff need to be organized. They take too long to seat you. Waitress left me waiting to get a refill. I waited 14 min for her to take CC. I had to ask a different waiter to charge my CC. This place needs maintenance. Food wasnt that great.

The service was super slow, there was no bartender so my waiter was bartending and serving causing a lag in service and to top it off there was a bug in my food.

I felt disappointed with my dish. Little pieces of steak and lots of potatoes. My friend ordered a dish that come with broccoli. It looked old then the server brought another plate of broccoli looked even worse. 3rd time around looked better but taste like clorox.

Excellent service, the food was amazing!

Cups are dirty. Had to ask for plastic. Food isnt good..but the staff is very good.

Update 6/19/22Came tonight for dinner and the frozen strawberry lemonade was just straight strawberry purée. Ordered potstickers which came out Luke warm not fried and still partly FROZEN. My steak I ordered medium well came out so well done that it was grainy. Last time I come to this location. Not sure how much worse it could be. Waited a very long time just for water and never brought a refill when I asked for one at the start of the dinner. Just go elsewhere for food.Another update 9/22/19Came in to eat literally sat down didn’t get a chance to look at any drink or food menu and the waiter is like what would you like so my friend orders. I’m trying to quickly read what is in there new drinks for the menu. Again so what would you like. Just went with what I may have had in the past once because he suggested it. Do you kno what you wanna eat. We said we need a minute. Now I’m over at another restaurant to eat because my food was given to me rare and I’m over it.👎👎👎👎👎Update 8/9/18😡😡😡😡😡Less stars now because I ordered “jack daniels” steak and when I picked up my order I asked for extra so another 1.50 though i was told it was 49c a piece where is my change? Whatever. But my food didn’t even come with a sauce. And honestly if I’m paying $63.00 you really needed to charge me for extra sauce? But either way I’m glad I even asked for it! Complete bs if you ask me. I’m not coming back. And the food we ordered was over cooked.Honestly I loved this place. But today’s order was very disappointing. So I find out they took off the flat iron/ jd flat iron. My favorite and basically the only thing I order from here besides the pot stickers. So instead ordered the New York strip cuz I like that as well. But for 6 bucks more than the flat iron 1/4 of it was bone and another half was fat. I’ve never gotten ny strip with a bone on it and usually has very little fat. So in hindsight I spent 6 bucks more and got less food then the flat iron. Also ordered it med well came out over well done. Won’t come back till things change. Thumbs down

my husband and I always choose to eat there because we love the taste of their food and the service they provide.

Went there tonight my waiter was “Rad” when he first said hello I thought he knew me he had a welcoming to him. He was polite and overall made me say I’ll def come back here again. All the staff was amazing and the manager came over so we let him know how amazing Rad was and the service. Great dinner tonight def a memorable experience. More restaurants need to hire staff like this Fridays has.I’d give 20 stars if I could.Highly recommend this Friday’s!!!

Food is always cold. Prices are extremely high for the menu and the quality of the food and drinks. The staff is wonderful. In general its not worth it.

No complaints, food was out fast and good service. One of the only places left for late night eats there.

Shame on some of this employees are nothing nice or polites..be aware even when you had a reservation...I dont recommend this location at all. Our anfritrion did a reservation and the only thing that occurred it was that a pair of them were a bit late, and that moment we ask this employee if it is possible to make room for them but she was rude since the beginning and even didnt care about the whole situation and just left us with no option..just if let us go and no trying to see other way to do business. Is this people really want to work or receive a training to solve this kind of situations? Dont come to this TGI Friday.

Service was awesome. I think my server was Joe. He was great. I will defenetly visit again. For that type of service is worth the trip from NJ to NY.

The food and Staffing are great. We just feel that multiple Fridays, we take chances and expect errors to occur both during dining and takeout.

Terrible service! First and last time coming here. The chicken was cold, my salad was not fresh and didnt have all of the ingredients it was supposed to have, and they wrongly cooked the steak. Waiter took a long time to come back to check on table and lied about speaking with a manager when we asked for a substitute for a part of the meal- Seems like this place is going down hill.

Went to eat, wasn’t busy of course because this place is terrible. Sat there with my sister and our two babies. Waited 15 minutes while multiple servers walked past us not one asking if we’ve been helped. Asked the manager for our server and instead of helping us while we waited even longer, she told us our server would be there, never came. As a manager at a restaurant myself that would NEVER happened. Everywhere is short staffed and as the manager there, she should be helping out!!!!!

The worst service i have ever come across while eating out. Drinks with no straws? Food was dried out and cold. The plates were dirty, and so were the table and chairs. The drink was terrible. We were served that nasty food only after telling them to take back the drinks and forget about the food cus we been here too long🤮🤮🤮

Wish I could have given it zero stars. Went with the wife and two sons for lunch. We sat for a while before the waitress came and took our drink and appetizer order. Fifteen minutes later, the apps arrived, but not the drinks. The gentleman delivering our food said he would grab the drinks for us, but that my sons strawberry lemonade would be a minute because it is made at the bar. The original drink order arrived just before he did with the ones he was getting, which was fine. We took both. The original order that arrived had an alcoholic strawberry lemonade for my 13yo, which they obviously took back and finally arrived with his drink. They finally took our dinner order, which took a long time to arrive. My meal had ribs and chicken wings. I received tiny wings, which must have been pulled off chickens while they hatched, and one drumstick that was undercooked. I told the waitress about this, but she did not care at all. Waited for the manager, who never came over. Ended up paying the bill and leaving. Food sucked, and service was terrible.

I went on Christmas Eve..very quiet and you could tell workers werent happy working until 11pm. The decor is just old hasnt changed since they moved into mall many many years ago. The food took long and was just edible..I wont go again...sorry👍👍

Melissa the waitress 12-3-2021 was so awesome and provided the best customer service to me and my partner. She made sure our visit was the best and truly made sure our meal was awesome. Greg the manager also stopped at our table to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you Both. Melissa deserves the best review for the best customer service. I will return again to have lunch or dinner and make sure she takes care of us again. Truly the best experience I ever had at this location.

This place is terrible the Manager Greg!! Just fired a Mexican who was working so hard after yelling at him in-front of costumers!He was the only waiter taking care of everyone he fired infront of everyone they had to bring the chef out to help !!! I feel so bad I dont even want to eat terrible…below is a picture of this terrible man

The food was ok taste wise. My friend said the potato skins were too hard though. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is affordable. Plus their alcoholic drinks are pretty good

We love TGI Friday, come pretty often. Service was good, food came quickly but the ribs were very cold like they had been sitting out and the mixed drinks were very weak. There was also a hair like an eyelash stuck to the lemon wedge in my drink. Well likely be back but it was an underwhelming visit.

They are only getting one star cause zero isnt an option. This is the absolute worst TGI_Fridays. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, then it came out cold. My steak was so over done it could double as a hockey puck. To top that off my son found a hair in his burger like cooked into the cheese. The "Manager" didnt even have the sense to come over to the table and properly handle the issue. He simple did a run by and dropped to free appetizer cards for our next visit with the purchase of an entrée!! What I want that for..I wouldn’t go back there if they were giving out free food!

Best experience.... exellent service friendly I would say... and the food 😋 loved it. So much we felt stuffed. Really recommend for families and friends to come. Plus they have free refills on kids drinks and regular drinks without alcohol.

I’ve never had a problem with this Fridays! Unfortunately I cannot remember all their names but most of the waiters & waitresses seem genuinely friendly. The food is delicious ALWAYS. They are good with modified orders (allergic to a lot but thankfully not gluten, dairy, meat.They can get busy but the wait is worth it

I usually never rate any place, but I’m going out of my way to help you keep out of this place! Starting from the host, seemed to be bothered when we asked for a table, the plates and my cocktail were nothing close to how it shows on the menu, the smallest piece of stake I came to see here and even though we asked for a medium cooked steak, it was so hard to chew on! They brought the appetizer to us without any utensils or plates until I asked for them (although the waitress was sweet and nice with usprobably the only good thing about this place!

Loved the food and our server Melissa was absolutely the best.Truly loves what she does. She is a gem I wish I could get my staff to be more engaged in their jobs as she is. Fridays is a better place because of her.Orville Barrow

Just wow. Cannot believe they havent shut this place down yet lol.Enough said.*Also, be careful what you eat here, you will definitely have diarrhea or possibly food poisoning.*However, most of the waiters and waitresses are good. Just the experience overall is pretty much pathetic. Save yourself the time and go across to Chilis or something.

I normally dont rate so harsh but a dirty place will do it. Tables and chairs sticky like thay havent been cleaned in years. Bathroom was disgusting and floors not mopped. Makes you wonder about their kitchen. Even though a chain store in a mall, you would expect some kind of cleaning program. Food was dried out and sloppy like there was no effort put I to it. Only good thing was that server was good. Stay away.

The waiter tried..... but seemed swamped. I got my beverage and did not get my food on time. It took him 30 minutes to come to our table to tell us to give him a second. Long story short, someone came to help him and took our order. The table across from us has been here an hour with just drinks in front of them. And its a big family table. Oh, before i finish this up, the hostess was rude.

Burger was fantastic at this place. They were able to accompany a party of 8 and kids. We had a table on the outside of the restaurant. Server was great with the kids!

Its always a great place to come with my family, theyre open late too. Conveniently located at the mall.

Extremely slow service.If you want an okay eating experience with your food usually cold then this is the Friday’s for you. This location needs help and I don’t think they realize it.

Service was slow and waitress forgot to get my beer 3 times. When I ask she said there was a problem at the bar. After waiting 10 more mins went to the bar and got it myself. The handed me a bottle. Refills took 15 mins as well. Food was ok not the best TGIF I have been at.

It takes a lot for me to give such a low rating and not something I normally do, but this could be one of the worst dining experiences Ive had at a long time and I typically enjoy Fridays locations in general. The Restaurant was clearly understaffed. I felt bad for the bartender simply trying to keep up. I sat with an empty drink most of my time there. The food took over 40 minutes to come out and my steak and potatoes were luke warm, over cooked, and brocolli was literally an odd brown color on most of it. I didnt get a chance to even voice my concerns to any staff member due to them barely being available or present and wasnt asked either. I had to track someone down after sitting with an empty plate (besides the inedible portionsand credit card out for 15 minutes and ask them to please run my card so I could simply leave. Definitely a waste of money and time I wont get back. I hope this location makes some changes or makes proper adjustments in the future when they dont have the correct personnel.

Great service. Just like a typical TGI Fridays, food was the same as any other one.

Our waiter was ok, he did his job I guess didnt check on us as much as he did the other customers who were white, I got some mozzerella sticks and they didnt seem fresh and asked for them to be reheated so the bring out a new batch saying that the ones before were fresh but the new ones they bought out were crunchier and tasted more fresh so that was a lie lol. Also not sure if fresh salad is supposed to look like this but mine was a brown. HOW DO YOU F**K UP SALAD!? LOL I DIDNT THINK THAT WAS POSSIBLE. It just sucks cuz I used to actually really like this Fridays but that was almost a year ago, I guess they got a new manager or something. The food even taste different, their alfredo sauce is watery as hell btw dont order any pasta dish.

Was not busy when we got there. Ordered some endless apps. We were less then impress with presentation and taste. Service was extremely slow. Food was less then appetizing based on presentation. The guacamole had started to brown on the spinach dip app and the boneless wings were not even completely coated in sauce. Overall I am reluctant to return with so many other choices.

Please consider not going here, even if you are desperate, its not worth the headache.1we had a bad experience with our server Gregory. We were Table 31, check #1891 on December 4, 2016 at 3:36pmA. He either was waiting too many tables or not very experienced. Our party of five ordered all together but he brought out apps and a desert right away and 2 in our party waited for burgers. He should known better. And after our food came our while taking an order from another table he said " I see that your food came out." He never asked us anything except if we wanted a check after we waited for him to return. He also suggested that someone get fried jalapeños and they came out as not fried. I believe he wanted us to order more food or drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Not really sure.2the food is below average. We ordered a Smokehouse burger and I think a Big Mac would have tasted better. They didnt ask for a temperature and the fries were underdone. Also priced at 13.49 which is quite expensive3the restaurant is dark and looks disorderly both in the layout and cleanliness. Ordered a water that came with no lemon but had a lemon seed at the bottom.4no manager present and our waiter was also our hostess.Bottom line, I hope TGI Fridays gets their act together. Dont expect any service or any kind of experience if you have to stop here. I feel cheated.
