Im so in love with chow mein. Its the one thing I know I can order when Ive had enough rice, and never regret that Ill attain satisfaction.The ambience of TAO restaurant is decent. Nothing to complain about. I like the fact that you get your food in a container you can reuse. You can eat and leave food remaining to carry home without hesitation.Resultantly the food prices is up there, but hey! Nothing wrong with paying for quality.

Food is great and customer service is good. Prices are affordable and the surprise factor is that they have a few shoes and bags on sale

Ambiance/decor is great. Staff, not so much. They are not rude, but they dont exude the graciousness one would expect from the decor. The food was OK.

I bought a large food and I was not able to get gravy BecuSe the Chinese lady said I cannot get the gravy with a LARGE food. So I had to eat the dry rice and it was not enjoyable. The interior is nice and clean but the cost and quality of food doesn’t justify the price

Very nice Chinese Local Restaurant. I have been going to this place since open and has never been disappointed, each time there menu increase, no waiting time (food ready in 10 minutes for done to order)and dining area gets better ( no the best but they try very hardFree WIFI. And if you lucky they always have other items for sale cheap cheap.

Prices are good and the food taste good to match.

Customer service was okay. The food didnt take long to be ready however, the second mistake was not checking the food before I left the restaurant (the first was going there in the first place). I ordered shrimp chop suey and when I opened the food, I saw no shrimp. I skimmed through the pok Choi and realized that they cut up the shrimp. I doubt I received 4 shrimps for the $850. I was very disappointed. I will not go to this restaurant again.

TAO is now on the WORST RESTAURANT List for me..... The only reason there is a star is because it is required to post this comment. I bought Lunch from them Today 7/2/2019, and there was small bugs all over the Roast Chicken!!!! I purchased the food at 1:13pm and after receiving the food and heading back to my office (see photos below of bugs i had to remove from the chickenCan you imagine how many people bought that today???............ Now its 3:03 at the time of the post and my stomach hurts!..... @CONSUMERAFFAIRS Where are you and what are you doing?

Alright. Its a love hate relationship. Very inconsistent with everything and the customer service has a lot of room for improvement. The food is more affordable than most places but the serve size is also not standard, sometimes worth your money othrr times you regret it. It seems clean enough. Because I dont have many other choices so Ill stick to when Im short on $$

I wish I could give it half a star for the wait time which wasnt long. The price of the food was too high for how horrible the food was. I regrettably bought the food and returned to work to find out the fried rice was wet with browning and the sweet and sour fish didnt taste or look like fish. Food is great...and you dont spend more than 5 mins. To get your meal...excelent eating area and friendly staff...the best food I enjoy there was fry rice with chilly chicken...#well_hot.

Disgusting that is what can be said about the bathroom at Tao. And it has nothing to do with the workers doing a poor job. This is all on management. I wish they would see the issue and quit peering over the workers shoulders while giving them disgusted looks and spend the money required to bring the bathroom up to standards.

I had the shrimp in black bean ..it was good I enjoyed it

Its a fast food restaurant, it is not very clean and the A/C doesnt work, the food tastes good but its not the best, good portion for the price you pay, unfortunately Im not going back there.

I visited this restaurant today and the first point of contact which would be the cashier is missing. The owner had to assit me with my purchase. When I asked for the cashier I was greeted with the response "SHE SOON COME" while there eyes we glued to the tv watching "BRITIANS GOT TALENT" which was very unprofessional I must say. Sigh.... Im quite disappointed on the type of service I just received from TAO. Ive been to this restaurant multiple times and the customer service was good, but todays was disappointing. The reason I gave you a star was because I enjoyed the food.

Last minute, quick on the go lunch fix....most times ok but there are those off days with some meals...wait time is not extensive. Garlic shrimp with noodles is good and so is the special chow mein.

The food prices are affordable. The Dining area is pretty basic. The staff is somewhat respectful.The Bathroom is terrible, smells foul. The odor attacks your nose upon entrance. The bathroom carries most weight on my rating it needs to improved. The bathroom is also labeled "Washroom". i found that weird.

Pro: Affordable prices... The most affordable Chinese restaurant in New Kingston.Cons: 1. Dining area is musky because they turned the a/c off2. I saw a cockroach there near the food storage trays and alerted one of the staff members... By the time the person had looked, I had no idea where the critter went! Probably in someones box.3. So... I happn upon this lil Chinese restaurant(Taoon a visit to Kingston... Had Cane juice with ginger... It was quiet refreshing... Came at a time when they were having customer appreciation so I got a complimentary bottled water.... Bought beef chop suey for ma self and sweet and sour chicken for my girlfriend.... The ambience was rather quaint.... The staff was pleasant and efficient... If Im every this side I think Ill be back.... Hopefully theyll get to a 5 star next time..Wont say why only 2 🌟 this time.. 😊😊😁... *the gf said dont give any trouble*

Not one of the most courteous restaurants. The restaurant owner and their employees tend to be hostile. Also, their food tends to fluctuates in consistency. Sometimes its really good and then at other times its just BLAHHH. I guess i should have know because there is never a line when I go and the seats are empty.

Ok just had the sweet chili 🐔with fried 🍚. It was good. My friend had the curried tofu and lounged it. We will be back.(terminator voice)

I visited the restaurant tonight and I was so disappointed the workers were quarreling and customers were there hearing everything and to make it worst the food was bad.

Chinese food is average. Sometimes AC doesnt work and gets very hot.
