4501 12th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105, United States, Washington
Upscale pub fare & cocktails in a casual, relaxed setting with daily happy hour & many TVs.
Good food. Nice selection. Staff was very responsive. Its one of my Sons and his Wifes favorites.
Decent fusion pub food, but the atmosphere was not great. Also, the beer selection is very average and can be improved significantly.
Beautiful space! Friendly staff, good drink list. Havent tried the food but it seems like a good spread
Always great service and excellent food. Really well packed when delivered and always attentive and kind servers in person. Happy hour is pretty good and the best menu items are the spicy Mac and cheese (with pulled porkand the chicken katsu sandwich :)
Couple of good draft beer options here, but at like $7.50 for a local craft beer its a bit steep. Food / appetizers are ok but nothing to write home about. Place is big and its not hard to find somewhere to sit most hours, but Id probably avoid it on big game days as I suspect it gets pretty douchey.
Great service, beautiful space, wonderful food!
the atmosphere is incredible. multiple screens with sports on. wooden table tops and great food and drinks.
This place was great! The gin and tonic was good, and the T12 burger medium rare was amazing. They actually nailed the medium rare part. The flavor and quality of beef was awesome. Staff is super friendly, and relaxed casual atmosphere. Probably my favorite Seattle restaurant. Strongly recommend.
Seating and order taking was done quickly by a host.I personally can not recommend the Japanese fried chicken. Nor the calamari. The calamari was a tad too fishy tasting for me.A different server took over and after dropping our food did not check back to see how anything was until we were done and ready for the check.I personally made the mistake once of getting carried away getting side work done and not checking on my tables at closing. So I realize this can happen. However I only ever did this once.Do not be fooled by the $8 ramen. It is a minuscule portion. All that aside. I get it is a sports bar environment but I did not care for all of the televisions. Not being a sports fan. I searched ramen near me after a show at the Neptune and didn’t think what 12 in the name meant. My bad but If you are like me and hate being surrounded by televisions, do not go here.
Food was great once it came... Took 40 minutes after we ordered and we were almost late to our show at The Neptune. Staff up on show nights!!! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
We came in late on a Tuesday and the server got us drinks immediately and since they post the menu outside the door we were able to decide what we wanted to eat before entering so we ordered food when we ordered our drinks and had our food very fast. There was an issue with one of the dishes, just something we didnt really like and they gave us something different without the upcharge it warranted and without hesitation or question. It was a good experience and the sliders were delicious.
Perfectly named! Great food and nice social venue. Service staff are super friendly. My fave dish is the hummus. Hubby loves the tempura shrimp and fish n chips. Prices are reasonable for Seattle.
I tried T-12 burger and it’s amazing.Excellent beef and fried. The bread is not as good as the beef though.Service is great.Totally gonna come again.
The food was good. I didnt have to wait too long for it to come out of the kitchen. The hostess was friendly as well.
The best part about this place and the review is the amazing TV selection they have for games. Unfortunately they don’t really play the game music/sound loud enough for the sports bar that they are trying to see. Again want to emphasize that they have an AMAZING selection of TVs. Worst thing about this place is probably their food. The wings are pretty good and I would stick to those and the nachos for any sports type event. The ramen was pretty bland and disappointing. The chicken karage tasted like organ meat and had a foul texture and smell.
Typically pub food. Good selection of brews. 22 brews on tap. Can watch just about any starting event. Cool just to come and hang out. Staff get to know the regulars.
Good ValueGood prices. Decent food. The tempura was tasty tho not crisp or hot. The gyoza was tasty, but the dipping sauce was bland. The burger sliders were tasty but again the aoli was somewhat bland. Surprising since mama lils was involved. Drinks were tasty and stuff.
Great food.Terrible service.Made me and my partner feel like we were bothering them to order.25 minutes in between seeing wait staff.Want to order more than 2 beers....but after a hour and a half we gave up.
Classic American food/bar, but staff can be inexperienced at times. Awesome place for sports with the group.
Ive eaten here twice. I had the ramen and it felt like it was packaged ramen. Very disappointed! Id give this place a 1* if just that. Then I came in and had the burger. It was average. Nothing great. Just okay. But the reason this place gets 3* is the peanut butter pie desert. It is one of the most amazing I can remember having. Simply excellent. Skip the food, not worth the money, but get the pie!
Food was fine, mix of Japanese and American. Friday night with UW basketball and other NCAA games on their multiple screens left the service understaffed. Looked like only two servers and one bartender. Waits for drinks cut into our appetite.
Service was slow, and when my burger was finally delivered it was cold, and slightly raw in the center. The replacement wasn’t much better, and was bland and boring. Overall pretty disappointing. They did give me a discount on it, but then they topped up my girlfriend’s lemonade with water...
I wish I could give half-stars, but Ill round up to 4. Their food is pretty solid, but theyre on the small side in terms of portions. It doesnt seem like thats reflected in the cost, though, so its a bit frustrating paying full price for what ended up being a small burger. Again, though, the food itself was tasty, and the environment itself is warm and relaxing
**Update 02/19/19**This place has turned into a Japanese fusion restaurant of sorts. They still have the full bar and some typical bar eats (couple burger and sandwich options, fish and chips, flatbreads, wings), but the menu is now dominated by Asian appetizers such as gyoza, edamame, karaage, and some ramen options and Asian style sandwiches.******You really cant beat the price. I was honestly shocked how affordable the prices were. Ill be coming back for sure.
Where to start. The food was not very good the menu looked enticing but when it arrived it all disappointed. If you go earlier in the day the service seemed ok however when we came in at night it was a different story, we all came in around 9 or so to have some drinks and play shuffleboard ( table is ridiculously slanted to one side btw they were advertised open til midnight so we didnt think it was an inconvenience however as soon as we ordered the server was very rude and snappy lile we were bothering them or something they then started to rush us out the place at 10pm saying they were closed. I dont get it and I dont recommend them. Beer choices were ok.
Nice place to eat if you are staying at the hotel next door or of your looking for a place to watch a game with friends. Comfortable setting and reasonable prices on everything.
Food was okay at best. Tiniest wings Ive ever seen. Beer selection was good, but waitress could use a personality and not seem so put out by customers.
Was going to be 2/5 stars: This place was completely unequipped to handle a Seahawks game crowd. We waited for an hour just for our pitchers.BUT THEN --- Jake came to the rescue. 4/5 stars!
Very nice people and rather accommodating for those that are vegan; one mistake was made on the order; but it was extremely busy and the Seahawks were on! Otherwise, five stars!
We have been coming here since the opening. At first we were thrilled to have a bar so close to us in the U. There was only one other bar / restaurant close in the Graduate which is now closed. The food here is decent and it’s usually pretty busy in here. Service has ups and downs but overall good based on how busy it usually is. Happy Hour is good but you’ll have to pay attention to the time to ask for your last happy hour drink before it ends ......
Great food and drink, lively atmosphere, but not enough servers on staff to be attentive. Had to walk up to the bar to order drinks and food for our table
So disappointed. Came in, not busy at all. Ordered fish and chips. Waited and waited, after 40 minutes the bartender finally came over to ask us if we were ready for our bill. I said "well Id like my food first". He seemed so surprised we hadnt gotten it yet. Im thinking, well you were the one who took our order, you should be on top of this. I asked him to cancel it and when I went to pay for my husbands beers, he said well if you wait Ill comp the beer. I said no thank you, so he then charged me. Whatever. Yes I still left him a tip, bigger than I should of. The date we were there was Thursday September 13 approximately 6pm to 7 pm.
My first time at Tavern12 was for lunch. The food tasted good (caprese sandwich and fries), but it wasnt special enough for me to necessarily recommend it. The restaurant looked nice and clean, and was very quiet shortly after opening on a weekday.
Show up on a Sunday to watch the game and see the most beautiful sports bar ever.....come to find out they have no NFL package. As owners how do you have a billion TVs in your bar and not the nfl package. I saw 7 people including my boyfriend and I walk out with in 10 minutes because they did not have the games. The bar is setting your servers and bartenders up to fail. If you had the games and a list of the channels that you mangers should print out on Friday to help the mornings run smooth it would have been an amazing sundayfunday lunch. Please do better.
I’ve been to this bar multiple times and have always enjoyed myself. This time I went to the bar, the bartender asked to see my credit card to start a tab, he did not ask anyone else to start a tab. I am a women of color , I asked him was this normal policy because I’ve been here before ( I was here 2 days agoand this has never happened. He apologized and said he would return my car. I feel this bartender judge me and assumed I wouldn’t pay. I usually come by myself and spend between 30$ to 40$. Very disappointed. I just moved to the UW area looking for a friendly fair bar. Smh
As my husband and daughter got their food, I continued to wait patiently for my meal. Eventually the server came back and said he thinks my meal was taken to the wrong table and they were remaking it. After waiting quite a bit longer, I asked if it was coming soon and the response from the server was it was up to the kitchen and out of his control - not a response I wouldve expected considering this was their error. As my husband and daughter finished their meal, I finally got my mine. Pretty frustrating overall and I wouldve expected more for an almost $100.00 check. They still charged me for my meal and extra for a side of ranch.
If you do not look at your bill, and do not care that you have been charged for items that were never delivered, this is the place for you!.Food is comparable to Applebees, with smaller portions. Service was abysmal.Great atmosphere, however unrelaxing and simply not worth the hassle.
Calm chowder was surprising very good. The rest of the food was okay. The chicken sandwich had some weird spicy veggies that didn’t match.
This is a typical american place. It used to open for lunch, but not anymore. The salads were pretty good, but none of the other offerings were that great. Got large screens and might be of interest as a sports bar.
We were there towards closing ans instead of the server making a polite announcement to the table all the lighta are turned on full and the music is cut off 10 minutes prior to close. Very uncomfortable and unnecessarily harsh way to have people leave. Beers, apps, and food all good.
Beware: their drink menus include happy hour appetizers that arent available when you order. They did not alert me to that fact when I ordered even though their quesadillas werent being served and charged me more than twice the amount.
Food is below average and drinks are overpriced. Also make sure you call if you are planning to visit them anytime after 9:30 for a chance to get any kinda food. They have no policy on kitchen closing time and the rude severs decide as it pleases them if kitchen going to close at 10:30, 10:15, 10 or earlier even when Restaurant stays open till 11. Save yourself..plenty of other awesome places around the area.
Great and affordable happy hour menu. Good place to watch sports. Has a large bar area though the feel is more restaurant with bar than bar that serves food. Great service. Though one time we did come here during a mariners game and were told we couldnt get the $4 coors special because the game wasnt on, even though it was just in a short rain delay, which was a little off-putting.
Two stars for my experience as food is poor and service is extremely slow. However, they have many beers to choose from and TVs are everywhere. So it’s actually a good place to just enjoy your beer and watch sports. Just don’t go to have your lunch or dinner.
Horrible service. Never greeted by waiter, provided service or took my order.
One of the best places to watch sports as there are Tvs everywhere. Everything is brand new. Huge beer selection, tasty happy hour with 5$ specials, shuffleboard and darts plus free parking in the garage. The staff Ive interacted with have all been great.
Absolutely awful experience. Waited 30 minutes just to have a waitress greet us when we sat down across the bar. Finally had to ask a separate waitress for the one appointed to our table take our drink order. We asked for two coors lights and couldnt even receive those within a ten minute timeframe. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Do not recommend.
Great atmosphere, the food is great and even during sporting events the place doesnt get overly loud. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is awesome and friendly.
Mediocre food, but the draft list is great (it even includes IBUs!), theres shuffleboard, and its fairly quiet for a sports bar so you can have a conversation in a normal voice. It also looks like they can accommodate fairly large groups (not sure how much warning they need). Best for chill pre- or post-dinner hangouts.
Had high hopes for this place as it is close to my work. Everything I have had has been fantastic - the street tacos, the flatbread pizzas, the burger, the kitchen sink salad. It is a pretty sweet atmosphere too. We will gladly be here for many of our lunches out!
