Symphony Cruise - Steamboat restaurant in Tokyo, Japan
Great service, great atmosphere
This cruise is about people you are visiting with, food was pretty good and tour was pretty good, you can view some parts of the Tokyo bay from the water, worth visiting, it is nice place to have a dinner with your friends:)
It was a beautiful cruise night. Food was not what we ordered. It was an odd but intimate setting once on board. Service was excellent.
It was good experience. Dont expect too much from food. But music and atmosphere really nice. (灬°ω°灬)
For a musician/chef this was a terrible experience. Its a beautiful ship and the service from all the staff was impeccable. We had the cheapest lunch buffet option, at ¥7500. And, as a buffet, expectations are not the highest to begin with. But the food was way below par. Leather dry pork, definitely not made on the day. Nice sweetish sauce, but couldnt save it. All the deep fried stuff was oily, as if the oil was not hot enough. Meatloaf was sad and without flavor. Deli meats were the cheapest from the supermarket cut in four. Rock hard garlic bread, probably also from yesterday. I could go on for each dish.I did quite like some of the desserts, but the ball was already lost at that point.Small glass of beer ¥850, not anything special, just your normal everyday draft lager. That would be too much even in the best of restaurants. And the entertainment... Soprano singer who couldnt hit a note to save her life. Absolutely soul hurting for a musician.Yeah, and the ship didnt do the route that was advertised. No biggie, but adds to the list.
Nice cruising experience with affordable price. We took afternoon tea cruise plan that comes with small cake set with tea/coffee. Coffee was tasty and service was good.
It was an awesome experience! We booked by Klook app beforehand, the food was amazing. And the ambience was great!
Im still on the boat while writing this review. I must say its the best money Ive spent on for 2021. Not sure why I did not discover this early enough.I came by myself to see the last sunset of the year. I had no high expectations but this exceeded everything.First off its really reasonably priced. I took the sunset captain set (¥5,800because it had all you can drink G&T (wasnt going to pass that one off). Had sausages, onion rings, and some side dishes. Its enough for a tiny lady, but probably not for someone whos looking for a big meal. For some reason they gave me the window seat (lucky), so I had an excellent view.I must say their service is Ace, 5 stars all round. As soon as my glass goes empty, they asked me if Id like another one. On occasions they would ask if Id like a photo (because I was by myself).I could leave my stuff and walk out onto the open deck at ease. Nobodys finna take your stuff in Japan. Please get the sunset version. I guarantee you its worth it.
I liked it too much!
ship was very clean and spacious.staffs were so friendly and nice.lunch buffet was okay and nothing special with its price.the port is spacious and clean.still a good and nice experience going to this cruise!
Superb cruise. Buffet meal and many activities. Great for big groups.
Romantic Cruise tour worth a visit
We enjoyed it even its freezing coldMe and my friends had fun taking picture in the deck and saw the city light up.
Nice cruise ship with Good services, also beautiful cake
Great and memorable experience for a tourist. Booking was a challenge due to language (online was also not user friendly and required Japanese numberbut asked the hotel reception to book on our behalf. It was truly something special.
Great activity! This cruise superbly combines a great meal with wonderful views in an awesome atmosphere. We highly recommend Symphony!
Great selection of food. Lots of seafood and price is reasonable. Would recommend to friends as its a great way to unwind after a long day of shopping.
Our first time in Japan and curated our itinerary via Klook :We enjoyed every minute of the cruise - from the afternoon coffee, to the surprise birthday song for one of the guests, to going up the deck to witness the Rainbow Bridge. What a fun and charming experience while in Tokyo :)Getting to Hinode Station was easy, you just need to plan at least a day ahead. We used Google Maps to know which train to catch and manage our time from there. We were 1 hour early, so we had some snacks at the convenience store some 50 meters to The Symphony Cruise waiting hall. Then all the rest was coffee and nice views of Tokyo Bay and surrounds...
Excellent service with good food, good cutlery and jovial team
It was a lovely experience. We went for the Sunset Cruise this time... last time we had gone for the Lunch Cruise. Its a favourite of ours.. we do it once a year. Its a complete experience. Must do as a tourist, or not a tourist. The staff are very nice and take excellent care. The prices are reasonable and theres something for everyones budget.. We took the French cuisine. Liked it very much. A big 👍
It was fantastic fabulous the ship was so gorgeous
The evening cruise was awesome. We bought food on the ship. Very reasonable. Fish and chips, chicken and fries and pizza.. Delicious... We had a great time... Incredible views. A must see...
The cruise trip is a great experience- especially at night. Staff are very friendly, but I would not recommend the food.
Would have given five stars but for the incorrect information that was given about drinks being included with dinner. This was a wonderful dinner cruise on the Bay that we enjoyed very much for our last night in Tokyo, Japan.
Very beautiful cruise. The food is also good. Goes from right under the golden bridge.
One of the best afternoon cruise ever! Only an hour cruising around the Tokyo Odaiba area. You can choose either with sandwich or cake set inclusive of coffee/tea. Its a nice cruise with nice banquet hall. Perfect for bringing family and friends. 👌
Fantastic experience! Great staff, beautiful ship, wonderful food. Highly recommended!!
Went there for the new year eve countdown. Its said buffet and unlimited drinks but its not true. Food is out within 15 minutes of service and they will stop serving drinks too. If you want to drink in the deck you have to pay more. Even what they call a champagne is just white wine. Food is the worst Ive had in Japan. Convenience store is better. Just save yourself time and money, do not do it.
Great views, large ship, very friendly staff and crew.Good food and drinks.Great place to come for a family outing, or a romantic date.
I really love this cruise.😀 Highly recommend even you are solo traveler. The price is reasonable enough for me to pay. I enjoyed the river, tokyo tower, hospitaility, and food. I bought Italian Package from website directly. 8,400¥ is fair enough from what I got last month. The rooms are seperateed depend on your meal choice.
First time on a cruise like this before. I thought the service was very good also have a allergy to fish and they were able to accommodate. Great views and food was really good.
Awesome place to surprise your loved ones. Best in class service. I would recommend this blindly. If are planning for a surprise event, this is the one for you. Staff is friendly, the dishes are great. You get unlimited bread. Staff are very courteous.
This was a good experience while in Tokyo. The boat did reak of diesel in the main areas and felt a bit dated. Service was friendly and the 10k yen course was pretty good. I was disappointed there was no bar on the ship for after dinner drinks. There was a small lounge area but it was of course full. Boat needs a bar on the top deck or some arrangement where everyone can buy some after dinner drinks and walk around on the deck.
The service is fantastic and the offers for the cruise are also welcoming. Highly appreciated the possibility to proceed with the reservation online and to pay cash upon arrival. Additional options can be added to the plan, such as cakes, flower bouquet or commemorative photos.
Very sweet place and taking a nice resting time.
Entire boat smelled like diesel. On top of that, I felt like I was stuck in a time capsule from the 1980s. Food was mediocre at best. Wine was way over priced.Service at dinner was amazing though!!
Considered a good for couples because of the boat route .... s2... Its a good way to see Tokyo through the river!! The dinner is really good
We went on sunset cruise, the food was good, there was a live piano music and plesent service. The weather was clear so it was very interesting to see the sunset colour changes. The booking was easy and the emails were exhanged in english. I was very happy with the contact. Please keep in mind that drinks are payed separately.
Nice night view and good food served
Superb views from the deck!
The night view is so nice, the food is so good.
Raining
Great Cruise and amazing food.
Good for family maybe but food served was like "so so"
Amazing and pleasant experience. Romantic dinner with love music.
This is a ship for sightseeing in the Tokyo bay area. My selected tour took 50 minutes from start to end. The time is appropriate to eat small cake and look around. Inside the ship was so clean that I was satisfied for the cruise.
The cruise (sunsetwas excellent. A live piano with great views. The ship is large enough so you hardly feel the waves. The food on the other hand was nothing special so dont expect much. As soon as the dessert is served, you are free to go onto the deck to enjoy the bay view.
Exterior looks good, but interior becoming old and ugly board
That was the worst food I had ever eat in Japan! I live in Japan quite long. And I know how Japanese like to try new delicious food and what does food means for them.Im vegetarian. And when my husband reserved cruise he asked for vegetarian set and also said them about my birthday. He decided to take vegetarian course too, even he is not. So when dinner started, first we got fried on oil vegetables with mushrooms. That was so so but fine. Just there was some grass we could not chew, that was like hay for cows.Well next we got was pasta with milk and some sliced champignons. That was even not cream souce. Just milk. Looked like they just mixed all ingredients right before put on our table. Had you ever eat milk makarone in your childhood? So that was the same.Third dish exceeded all expectations! They called that "tofu steak". Well, on the plate about 70 Gramm of tofu and on the top is some souce with beans or black rice. And tofu and souce did not combined at all and taste was right like from just opened 100 yen shop pack. So cheap!!!And finall is desert. Which we did not get, but over clients yes. We got plate with about 50 Gramm of fruits per each of us. Here my patience finished! I could not understand why they gave me milk pasta but not icecream and peace of chees cake? Where is logic? Who decided that?Who made that dinner for us and do they have any idea what vegetarian food is?Or they let to do it just to helper or dish washer on the kitchen. Or just opened fridge and put in our plates all stuffs they dont need?!!!!Or they did not think we will come, and created that culinary masterpiece at the last moment. And who ate my desert?!!!In the final we paid the same price as over costomers. One more thing. When my husband made reservation for dinner he said that I have birthday. But manager did not ask him, do we want birthdays cake or my name to write it on a desert plate. So I just watched how over costomers got their cakes and really wanted to cry.I dont know how their normal course tastes. Think, normal enough. But if you are vegetarian I do not recommend you their company. And not just because food was really awful. I think the reason, they can not work with costomers who are not like common customer. That calls on Japanese "sabetsu". I felt that.Elizaveta.
The cruise is good if you want alto do something different while going out for a nice meal. The food is pretty good quality, the kids meal is ok value and filling for a child up to their teens and the drinks selection is extensive. There arent any fantastic sites on the cruise and the meal takes up the majority of the voyage so I wouldnt give it 5 stars. Still you wouldnt be disappointed unless on a tight budget
