Swiss Chalet in Brandon

It was like Leftover Tuesday or something. Not pleasant at all!! Very disappointing

Nice clean and new location. French fries and ribs done to perfection as always. Bathrooms were very clean. Lots of parking for larger vehicles.

Terrible place to eat. Baked potato is not even cooked..but the waitress was very helpful and nice 😊

Scrumptious food and prices are affordable. First time to try their foods and we were very delighted. Staffs are also accommodating. We will be dining in again for sure.

Just ordered ,your portions get any smaller for your take out, I wont be ordering from you any more!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I have no idea where these other reviewers ate but it cant be the Brandon location (unless the reviews are for the other attached restaurant).I am a huge fan of Swiss Chalet food. It is delicious and portions are great. I never feel like I paid too much for what I got. However, this location has never been managed or staffed properly. Its actually a joke now to go there because the service is so awful.Weve waited 20 minutes in the lobby before without being greeted. Weve waited an hour for our food (2x), once where the waitress came out at the 45min mark and asked what we ordered again because it was lost. Theyve run out of chicken several times. Today we went in and were told that itd be 25minutes before a table could be cleaned for us, there were 3 tables seated at the time.The moral of the story is the food and value is great, and it keeps us coming back, despite the crazy incompetence.

I went to the drive through yesterday and the gentleman that serve me was absolutely amazing. Great customer service. He was clear and concise, i didnt have to ask him to repeat a thing he said. Great job

This place actually puts quality into their customer service. Right from ordering to receiving your meal, the staff is wonderfully helpful.

Staff need to read the orders carefully!!! Second time we didnt get the extra chalet sauce & sour cream!

Service was good and the restaurant was clean.As for the food, the chicken had good flavour but the chalet sauce is not for me.

Great place to stop in for a sit down meal or some takeout. Service is always fast and the food comes out great.

Great chicken, especially the skin. The fries and gravy were excellent, not a big fan of the chicken sauce. Love the Coleslaw, Kesha our server was great, very helpful.

Absolutely loved it. Toddler approved. My kids liked the food at swiss better than anything theyve ever had before! Price was amazing as well. Definitely recommend going there.

Friendly atmosphere, great menu choices. Good experience for a family or group. This is a classic restaurant, continuing to be a choice for multiple generations.

Food was good, and our server was awesome! Only issue was it as a little slow. Overall it was great and I’d like to come back.

Kids meals filled up the kids and they ate happily. There are lots of choices, but they are familiar choices, so they are great with kids. For us there was enough variety, and some interesting choices for when we want to try something new.

Decent food and okay staff who dont seem to care for the customers and try to hard to push other items from menu

First time at this place in Brandon. We were theee for lunch with 4 adults and 3 kids. It was busy, but the staff was nice. The kids ate free because it was Wednesday, but they never got their dessert. Oh well.

Service was slow despite empty restaurant. Food was incredibly bad and low quality. The food was luke warm and presented like cheap bar food.Save your money and go to Montanas.

Nice place. Friendly staff and good food except for their homemade sauce. I don’t recommend getting it.Also their Parmesan French Fries. They were dripping with Olive Oil. Made a mess of the burger.

My husband and I went to the Harveys side at Swiss Chalet. We were not impressed with the food...expensive for what you get. I have had better burgers, elsewhere.

Been a long time since eating in. Swiss Chalet, but it was just as good as I remember. Good food, great service and very reasonably priced.

Waited 10 minutes to get a table at an almost empty restaurant. Went in at 430. It took almost an hour to get our food, and they screwed up on my husbands order, but we were tired of waiting, so didnt end up sending it back. There were several tables seated after us that had eaten and left before we even got our food. Had to wait another 15 minutes to get our table cleared and had to ask for the bill. Wont be going back.

Food was delicious and well cooked. Featured deal on the chicken and shrimp was well worth the value. Seated and served efficiently. Only complaint was the booth by the window an ice box, but then, it was -35°C outside. Enjoy this place! Bone apple teeth everybody!

It was ok, have heard mixed reviews so recieved coupons in the mail & decided to try it. Chicken was like grocery store roitisseri chickens, only a lot more $$. Although we ordered exactly the coupon offer they werent accepted as we didnt mention them right away & nothing stated that they had to be. Wont be going back as there are a lot better places to dine.

Hi Im right here for lunch with my granddaughter. It was very good. I wont order the Christmas one again because its so big. We didnt get there until 2 p.m. It was not crowded at all. There was only one maybe two other people in The Establishment with their families. Staff could concentrate on us. Loved it.

We had a wonderful meal with good food and great service. We were impressed with it all.

Its fine, a good place to take people who enjoy prectible food that isnt great but isnt awful. The staff is charming if a bit new and the drinks are decent.

Chicken was dry and tasteless. Ribs were okay at best, very bland overall. Needless to say Id rather go to Harveys next door.

Nothing wrong with the food. Completely edible. But nothing great about it either. Definitely not a cheap place, 75$ for 2 of us. No drinks or deserts either. Service was excellent and friendly, that part was stellar! We might go back in a few years, just for something to do. Not as good as montanas, applebees, or even smittys for that matter. But better than humptys lol.

Our server was prompt and friendly. We didnt wait long for our food and in a group of 8, it all came hot and tasty. There was an issue with my food (they didnt have dark meat at the time), but the server had a fair solution ready that made me content. Good family environment.

Service was poor. We ordered 2 small salad and spring rolls. Next table beside us came way after us. They got there meal before us. My husband ask the server how long does it take to make salad. The response was it coming and very rude. Salad look more like cabbage with next to nothing dressingHas to ask for more.

Food was ok , I had fried chicken and fries . Chicken was luke warm and fries were barely warm so I was asked if I would like new fries and I said yes. They were better.

Tonight was our first visit. We both ordered the 10.5 oz beef dinner. It was very enjoyable and the portions were a good size. The perogy appetizer is topped with bacon, onions, cheese and sour cream. They were great. Survey offer for half-priced appetizer, on your next visit. Megan was our server. She did an outstanding job and made it a worthwhile experience. Thank you!! Well try the chicken on our next vist.

Our food was very good and it was served quickly. Everything was really hot and quite tasty. Our server was fantastic and was quite attentive to our table.

Went to Swiss chalet yesterday with my GF and we both had a excellent experience!!! We both found the food delicious and when my gf gave me a bite of her roast beef dinner, OMG..... It was melt in your mouth delicious!!! The staff was friendly and our server was very knowledgeable. To bad we couldnt give her a nice tip. It was well deserved!!!

First time went to restaurant with my girlfriend.. Excellent food,excellent waitresses..Food was very good.. Atmosphere was pleasant.. Will come back...Food was mouth watering...😋😋😋😋😋😋

The service was ok the server was nice....the food I spent $50 plus on was terrible. The fries were slightly warm obviously they had been sitting there for awhile, roast beef and ribs were slightly warm. She offered me fresh fries I accepted but yeah bad food. Regardless I still left her with a decent tip. :(

Coleslaw was half full. It was expensive and barely has much food from how the menu showed it also no sauce in coleslaw. And the place was busy and unorganized.

I bought 2 side of coleslaw tonight ,they just gave this one !when i asked about the quantity they told me they were run out of it.then i asked return the money for 1 then they replied here is the 2 orders of coleslaw.i was shocked what they think ppl r stupid!!!

so my bf and I came in to Swiss Chalet for the first time last night and we shared the 3 course dinner and we got the dark meat dinner, when it arrived I gave him a portion of the chicken and I noticed it was really pink.. he had already ate most of his not noticing but I notified my server so she said she was getting them to bring a new piece and once that one came out it was still very pink.. so I said just give me a white meat piece.. and once again pink.. so the "manager" Im assuming told me that the kitchen said " its not under cooked or raw its just the pigmentation.." which is a big fat lie.. Ive been in the food business Ive had slow cooked chicken or roasted chicken from Walmart and never has it been pink. Also to add to it she basically reassured my bf that its fine to eat and low and behold I was up all night with my bf while he was sicker than a dog.. took to emergency because he said it was worse and different from other food poising. Everything else was fine the perogies and pie and my server was amazing but customers beware if they try to tell you its the pigment please do not eat that chicken. please dont make the same mistake as we did
