AMAZING for events! Super military friendly. 11/10 Swing is an elevated and intimate wine bar with phenomenal food.We love the cozy atmosphere of Swing, booths have fluffy throw pillows and unique lighting for each table feels very intimate. Our event was in the newly refurbished wine cellar, a private room in the basement. We were able to choose the room layout along with our food options. Sophisticated fireplaces, vintage decor, and low ceilings really gave our event the elevated yet personal touch we were looking for.Our group was out of country and had trouble with service, leading to our reservation not being confirmed like we thought it was. When I called with some questions (about a week outthe manager, Stephen, was very understanding and made sure we had the amount of food and space we needed, even with limited notice. He drew up a great list of recommendations for our menu and was very specific in making sure we had everything we needed.On the day of our event, we had far fewer people than we anticipated but Swing adjusted gracefully. Our waitstaff was extremely courteous and made sure to ask about the bill and schedule with me privately. Because we were hosting guests, this is something I greatly appreciated.11/10 this will definitely be our new go-to spot to host functions.

I ordered the rack of lamb with rice pilaf and asparagus and it was wonderful. The lamb was perfectly cooked with beautiful charring and a pink center.The staff was friendly and attentive which only added to the pleasant atmosphere provided by the cool breeze and view of Capitol Lake.Glad to have found a new go to restaurant near home, highly recommended.

Awesome bar and menu. Lots of tasty small plates and full-size entrees. The chocolate fondue dessert is a must-try!

The food was delicious, the drinks were great. The service was excellent. Went there on a summer evening and dined outside overlooking the lake and the inlet. It was a beautiful and enjoyable atmosphere with music playing softly on the outdoor speakers.

Don’t order anything but drinks here. And even those are over priced. Got a New York strip and it was the quality Denny’s. Do not go here unless you’re thirsty

We had an absolutely amazing time here!! The atmosphere is perfect, incredible wine (try Château Dumas Cenot😊), and the most delicious dinner!! I had the slow-roasted beef brisket. My fiancée had the duck and loved it! 🤤 We cant wait to come back! Id give them a thousand stars if possible. A must visit. Oh yes, the view of capitol lake is just stunning 😍 👌 🙌 ✨️. I am hesitant to leave a review because I want to keep this place all to myself! But, I have to leave an honest five stars because they deserve it.The cocktails, wine flights and small plates are creative, wonderful and fairly priced - perfect for happy hour, but the entrees and desserts are real show-stoppers as well. Between terrific views and a cozy ambiance, this is a perfect spot for a visit with old friends or a date, and the menu will make you want to linger and enjoy a full suite of offerings. I hope they decide to do a brunch!

This is a nice place to enjoy a cocktail or wine flights but the food is overpriced for the quality. Ordered several entrees and all were mediocre. They could improve with more attention to the details. For a $19 hummus plate they didn’t even warm the bread. Just took it out of a bag, cut and put it on a plate with a few vegetables. Very underwhelmed.

Stopped by here for dinner with a large group on a rainy Tuesday in Olympia. They have an amazing list of cocktails and we ordered a bunch of them everything was delicious. Their wine selection is great and we tried a few reds and loved it all. The food here was also very nice. We ordered a lot of appetizers - stuffed mushroom, the flatbreads and the brisket. It all tasted fresh and flavorful. Cute place overlooking the sound and I am sure it looks even more gorgeous on a sunny day. Will recommend this place in Olympia.

Cocktails are so good and creative. Food was nice and tasty. Great view outside over Olympia. I’d go back for sure!

My meal wasn’t terrible by any means. It was just that, for a place with as high of a price tag, I expected something unique and/or better that what I can cook at home. I ordered the salmon and nothing really stood out about the dish, and the portion sizes were nothing to write home about either. The service was decent.

Swing is a wonderful atmosphere for a date night. The atmosphere to the fun drinks, highlight a calm place to spend a few hours talking with someone. Most of the food is shared and is fun to eat with others. Sure wished they learned how to give oysters in even pairs though.

My boyfriend and I both rate Swing Bar 5/7, aka a perfect score. I enjoyed the Apple and Chevre Flatbread immensely, while he had the lamb which came with some rice and zucchini. The service was incredible and the wine and drinks were better. Considering coming here for my birthday next month!

Food and service was amazing! I love that theyre checking vaccine cards at the entrance.We will definitely return.

My favorite restaurant in olympia. Great atmosphere, great wine and food for any dietary restriction. Vegan desserts as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Put this one at the top of your list!

Swing was amazing. Eduardo was so attentive. Drinks were awesome and the food amazing. The portabello mushroom pasta and bacon wrapped dates were delicious. Plus, the most COVID safe restaurant I have been to!

Good time, great staff, excellent food and great view. Really like what they have done with the outdoor dining environment. Ive been amazed how restaurants have either figured out how to successfully traverse the COVID issues or fail to. Swing Wine Bar has nailed it with class.

I took my wife here for our 10 year anniversary, hoping for a nice evening. While the service was fine at best, the food itself is way overpriced for the size of the portions. After 3 drinks total and 2 entrées, our bill was close to $100. Neither one us were full after our expensive snacks parading as meals and had to go get a couple slices of pizza down the street. The patio and view are lovely but that is mostly what you will be paying for. The patio overlooks Capitol Lake and is situated just perfectly enough to where you cant see Olympias horrendous homeless population and the destruction they have caused. Not recommended unless you got money to burn.

What a great find. We just moved here and my husband found this restaurant on google maps and we had such a lovely evening. The service was the best! The food was delicious and the views were wonderful. I can’t wait to go back!

Cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. Indoor and covered outdoor seating with soft music for a nice ambiance. Perfect for couples with views overlooking Capitol Lake. Many great appetizers to choose from including bacon wrapped dates. Worth multiple visits to try everything on the menu.

Try the bacon wrapped dates you wont be disappointed as well as "Its five oclock somewhere" drink and enjoy the lovely view.

A couple girlfriends and I stopped in here Saturday evening. The ambiance of this wine bar is lovely. We had an excellent time. The staff were all incredibly kind, and the food was delicious! Will be returning frequently!

We have always wanted to go here. A friend of ours invited us out. Now we cant wait to go back. Excellent service, great food, excellent wine. We were able to enjoy our friend and the food and not be interfered with for a long dinner. We felt welcome and not out of place as some restaurants go if they cant turn the table over several times a night. I cannot wait to go back to continue going through their menu.

Delicious food, must try the gorgonzola mushrooms, deviled eggs, street tacos were amazing. The baked brie is delicious as well. Huge menu of custom crafted cocktails and wine. You can also enjoy wine flights and whisky flights. The view is amazing, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

It was my first time visiting; while I really enjoyed the wine and dessert the service was lacking. We specifically chose this location because google showed they stay open until 10. I met a few friends there at 8. I felt very rushed and the server quickly brought our checks out at 9:20; our wine was not even finished. And then the server said they were closing in 2 minutes as he rushed by us! At 9:30. Very RUDE; inconsiderate. No kind explanation or reason. This was a special time with friends and once we left we spent 30 minutes chatting outside in the cold; terrible! We will not go back unless I get an apology.

Been here a couple times and have always had a great experience. The ambiance is great - and old house overlooking Capital Lake converted into a wine bar restaurant. Service is very attentive and friendly. They have a happy hour menu called the Lush Rush that changes, not sure how often, but the drinks and food options change. This visit was a happy hour visit with my mom and we both had a Five Oclock Somewhere drink, and the Bacon wrapped dates for a little bite to eat. Both yummy! Will continue to visit this little house on the hill!

Our first time here on the recommendation of friends & it did not disappoint. We ordered a couple of the small plates - the roasted cauliflower & the flat bread.. Dont leave without trying the bread, topped in fresh mozzarella, amazing! We had the brisket & smoked salmon Caesar salad for our entrees. Both were delicious & the portions were generous. Everyone knows its the dressing that makes or breaks a Caesar & Swings was truly the best Ive ever had. Topped it off with a lovely bottle of Savignon Blanc & nice view on the patio. Only negative would be that service lagged a bit between seating & ordering, otherwise friendly & professional. A great experience overall & we will definitely return.

Chef Thomas is why we keep coming back! The exquisite menu that comes out of the kitchen of that historic house turned wine bar restaurant is crazy good! The wait staff know their wines! Hidden gem only a couple minutes walk from the Capitol.

Good food, but not very vegetarian friendly. Spinach wraps weren’t that great but Pita and Hummus was tasty. The owner had some really nice wine stories. The staff was helpful and suggested us some good wines.

Excellent service and food! Went here on a date night and we will go again. Very crowded when we got there 30 mins before our reservations but they were able to seat us right away. Drinks and food all came right before our reservation time. Wide assortment of wines to choose from as well as cocktails.

Always have a great time at Swing. They have great small plates and plates to share. the drinks are always well made and they have a great variety on their menu. Beer selection could be a little better, but that really isnt their focus. Go for the mixed drinks, great food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Amazing! Great food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our server was Katie and she was THE BEST! Gave us great suggestions, really friendly and personable. Love her! I had the pork belly flatbread and it was unbelievably good. No one had a single thing they didnt like. Great wine selection, and a pretty great cocktail menu for those that dont like wine. I will absolutely be back!

Ive visited Swing on several occasions and am never let down! Top notch service and amazing food! Their selection of beverages is always on point and if you dont know what you want they make great recommendations! Always call to reserve a table as this is a small place with a small but mighty staff!

Lovely place for grown-up fun. Great wine flights. The menu changes, but the couple vegan items are marked. This pasta was exquisite - far better than a more expensive eggplant pasta dish at another place in town. The bubbly flight was also great. They have a party room downstairs. In summer, sit outside for a view of Capitol Lake. Check their limited hours - evenings only. Excellent place for after-work meetings with friends. Service from (Katy?is excellent - familiar tone with professional, personal touch. Want to go back for the same dish again soon!

Incredible. Our sever, Katie, was very attentive. Listened to our preferences and was able to recommend drinks. The bartender was super accommodating to taste, making drinks slightly off recipe to be sweeter, more flavourful. The food was delicious, and they offer plenty of vegan, gluten free and vegetation options. Wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff. Definitely a highlight of Olympia.

If you like great service, a solid wine selection, delectable cocktails, whiskey flights and knowledgeable funny wait staff then this is the place. Never had bad service or bad food. The views by the windows are some of the best in town. Strongly recommend it. Word of warning the cocktails are not some watered down slosh so be aware they pack a punch and should be enjoyed sparingly if at all if you are driving.

Amazing food and the staff is awesome. Constantly asked if we wanted to taste different wines, just to get the perfect pairing for our meal. Tasted all of appetizers and everything was perfection, strongly recommend the cheese fondue and bacon wrapped dates. ❤
