SweetBrew & Co. - Restaurant in Darwin, Australia
This café is a find. Good atmosphere, good service, interesting creative breakfast, great coffee. Being Korean, I was curious to see what they would come up with in their kimchi poke bowl (no, thats not a dish that traditionally exists- kimchi for breakfast? With coffee? What? I actually liked it though.. it all fit together somehow. The long black coffee was great too.. the info card they provided was accurate (see photo). All in all, great experience. Looking forward to having coffee there again soon.
Visiting Launceston after a very early arrival into Devonport, we were very grateful for a delicious breakfast and perfect coffee.Service was great, relaxed atmosphere, food was excellent. Highly recommend.
We had breakfast here this morning. Coffee was great, the omelette superb and the breaky burger outstanding. Staff were wonderful and we appreciated the quiet attention that was shown.
Coffee was the best! I loved my chai latte, one of the best I have had.Baked egg was so tasty. I can’t get enough with the spicy and rich flavour. Highly recommend!I like the sticky texture of the Banana pancake. The combination of banana, dates and walnut was amazing! It’s a bit too sweet for me. But my kid loved it very much!
Beautiful ambiance, smiling and pleasant service and delicious food! The sweet brew steamed egg was a work of art and a perfect mix of ingredients.
Fantastic service, great coffee and menu which left us feeling full for hours! The serves a large so if you wanted to share with someone this is a great place to try.
Good food in a good location. Can recommend the avo smash.
One of the best cafe experiences I have ever had. Incredible food, incredible coffee. The highlight has to be the service. The staff are next level knowledgeable and helpful.
Sweet brew Cafe charms all 5 senses! It’s more than a cafe, it’s an experience. I was visiting Launceston from Melbourne for 3 days total and stopped by at this cute & cozy cafe three times and was greeted on all occasions with lovely staff, marvellous food and great music. Will definitely be back again!
Really nice food. A lovely atmosphere with great decor. Staff were friendly but couldve been a tiny bit more attentive with cleaning tables and providing menus etc.
Amazing place. Great food and friendly staff. A must visit.
Had a great shaksuka for breakfast and coffee was nice and creamy. Service didnt appear to notice me at the counter for some time despite there being only a couple of guests, waiting for coffees. Im sure this was just a one off. Service with a smile when I received my meal from wait staff and also checked in to see how everything was during the meal. Highly recommend for great breakfast options and quality coffee.
Coffee is NOT just Coffee!Lots of baristas, roasters, restaurants, cafes etc but you will not find a better range of coffee, than what is consistently brewed to perfection at Sweetbrew! Hence the name, a challenge to accept daily when its your business name.Whether its a long black, batch brew, cold brew, specialty milks (that have been rigorously tested for effectiveness, taste, influence of palette texture prior to usethe baristas here will make your ultimate coffee, talk to them about what YOU need, dont just accept the same olcoffee elsewhere.I would normally overlook cakes and specialty fancies BUT their banana bread is spot on! Not too dry nor too moist, and super tasty with a brew.TRY IT. (Pix below)I also have the granola for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Its such a well proportioned and balanced experience that is creative without the over-the-top pretention.Ok, skip the jargon, it feels so nourishing eating this, like you have just done the best thing for yourself this week."Homemade Granola (VO)Maple Syrup toasted Granola, silky Yoghurt, Seasonal Fruits"The one particular thing that was impossible to hide from was how when pairing this with a coffee; there wasnt a clash in flavour between the two; such is the freshness and quality sweetbrew pump out, DAILY!Amazing Place, Amazing People.GO THERE!
A fantastic coffee & breakfast spot - the coffee was spot-on, food was delicious (try the Feisty Butty!), and the crew are lovely (thank you especially to Eden who made us feel right at home!). We went all three days we were staying in Launceston, and would recommend to anyone! I’m not a vegetarian myself, but didn’t miss the meat - the dishes are delicious all around!
My first visit to Sweetbrew and I can’t wait to go back. Service was great, it was a very hectic Sunday before the footy and the waitress was great and found us a spot for 3 blokes. I had the Smashed Avo and no joke it was the best smashed Avo I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a truckload in my timeand the 2x Almond milk lattes were amazing too. I’d drive from Hobart to Launceston again at the drop of a hat if you said I could have another smashed Avo.
I have been coming to Sweetbrew religiously since they opened for my morning coffee. Not only is the coffee the best in Launceston by far so are the staff and owners. Arch & Tim have created an atmosphere that makes you feel like one of their family, staff know all the regulars by name as do the regulars know the staff. In the words of Molly Meldrum,” do yourself a favour and check this one out”
Visited their this morning had a pancake, simply no words, one of best dish of my life, vary well decorated by chefs. Highly recommend.
Delicious food, coffee and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the masala eggs and sweet pancakes. Everything was fresh and really tasty.
Was recommended Sweetbrew from friends who visited Launceston earlier this year. It did not disappoint, the staff were excellent, the service friendly, the food fresh and ample. Note to self, dont go for a walk before. The coffee was excellent to. Will return again.
Found this piece of heaven on our 3 day stay in Launceston and it very quickly became our “ local”. The owner and staff are all friendly, professional and warm. The coffee some of the best we had on the island and the food is extraordinary!Although a small menu, the portions are generous and each dish considered and a taste sensation..We can’t wait to go back !
This place was the culinary highlight of Launceston. There were a handful of good places in the area but this place was amazing. We went during off peak time so we didnt have to wait much but I can imagine itll be difficult to get a table during the popular times. The food was delicious and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The coffee was great too making this a place I will definitely come back to.
Good coffee, freshly brewed chai, good service and tasty fresh food worth a look for sure.
Great food and unique coffee, great little breakfast spot any day of the week.
Absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, food full of flavor, great service, clean, quiet and comfortable.
Highly recommend! Sweetbrew offers a delicious range of wholesome food to fill up your belly and a range of tasty drinks to quench the thirst (especially the chai). The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming!
Delicious food and brilliant service! Very cosy interior to escape from the chilly weather; highly recommend the porridge!
The staff was friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Excellent coffee and great variety of sweet and savoury breakfast options on the menu. When the food arrived, presentation was colourful and well thought out. Highly recommended cafe for breakfast if you’re in town. If you’re lucky you might get seated in one of their quaint private rooms.
Archana welcomed us for breakfast with lots of insight and some great conversation. Served excellent food and coffee, my partner loved the chai. You can see by the bustle and reviews Sweetbrew is a great option.
Sweetbrew is everything you’ll be looking for and more. Food and coffee is top notch. Service is outstanding. If you can, stop in, you won’t be sorry.
One of the best brunches in Launceston.Five Senses Coffee, Mork hot chocolate and exceptional service.Menus sprinkled with Middle Eastern/Asian highlights.Sweet as.
Had ordered sweetbrew steamed egg and Baked Masala Egg. Both the dishes were full of flavours. Loved the fusion of Ethopian and Indian spices.
Stood out for the cosy space inside and an interesting menu.Friendly staff and amazing smells coming from the kitchen helped the experience along.Left feeling nourished and very satisfied with my meal and take away freshly baked muffins.Would recommend.
If visiting Launceston do not miss this cafe! Went back for our last meal there before flying out. Food top notch, staff very accommodating. Wish it was close to home!
Really friendly helpful staff, awesome yummy food and the best coffee we’ve had!
We went on Good Friday and was packed out. Had to wait to get a table but made space for us. My wife was devestated that soup ran out but fair play to management they wouldnt accept payment for the coffees and food we did have. What we did have was excellent and very appreciated. Next time we visit Launceston we will come in.
Lovely place, busy so you know the locals love it. We had porridge and the kimchi bowl, both were fantastic. Great coffee too.
Cozy little cafe, busy during peak times.Delicious, creative menu. My salad was scrumptious and the Chai yummy. Staff friendly and attentive.
Food and coffee are spot on! Will visit again when in Launceston!
Fabulous. Terrific staff. Great owner. Awesome vibe. Brilliant Coffee. Fresh food. Strong yes.
From one brew to another brew, Falafels are where all the mad chicky peas at. Brew I dropped in for a catch-up with a brew and brew let me tell you wassup. This place is vibin with good food 🍽️, good coffee ☕ and good atmosphere 🌏. Brews should be doin all their catch-ups here because this place is super sweet brew.Peace✌️
Amazing service. I had the sweetbrew steamed egg with asparagus, feta, shitake mushrooms - was so delicious! Seasoned perfectly. Coffee was great! Highly recommended open all the time ☺️
A delicious spot in the centre of Launceston. We were recommended this cafe from our nearby Hotel. The food was fresh, and the menu offered a wide variety of interesting options. The citrus crepes were delicious! My partner had the baked chilli eggs - enjoyable but very very spicy.Being from Melbourne, we have dined at a fair few coffee shops. We liked the quaint interior, and atmosphere was hustling and bustling. They were out of lactose free milk - something not a fault of their own (supplier shortages). But the coffee was not too shabby! The only let down, is that right next to us was the coffee machine. Where the barista and one of the staff were having quite a full on bicker at each other. Made it a little uncomfortable!
Lovely and attentive staff. Menu choices were interesting, and the steamed egg breakfast was completely delicious. Also had a nice cold brew - perfect for a hot day
Food and coffee were great but customer service was not good and certainly left a bad impression for us. We were told to sit and wait for to be attended but no one came to us, they were ignoring because they thought we just sit without talking to anybody (here it goes the first impression). Glasses were dirty and the waiter put his finger inside the glass to “clean” it, in front of us. I hope this is not the standard. As I said before, coffee and food were great!
Nice place. Good coffee, although it was on colder side. Breakfast was good. Omelette was to die for and good service.Plus one for wheelchair access, including toilet. Will be back.
We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast on our way out of Launceston and I’m so glad we stumbled across this cafe! Very busy place which is always a good sign. We both ordered pumpkin spice pancakes which were to die for! They were so good- the picture says it all. Coffee was really good too. Service was friendly. We did wait quite awhile for our food but we expected that given how busy they were. Toilets available which is always a plus at a cafe.
Amazing place. Great service, even thou it was super busy, it was organised and friendly. The coffee, some of the best Ive ever had. And the food was amazing too.
Sweetbrew was absolutely packed but they found us a table out the back in the sun. We had the smashed avo, bircher muesli and turmeric oven cakes. They were all fantastic. Coffee also outstanding. Why would you go anywhere else for coffee in Launceston?
great service, great location and great food! wait did i mention they have great coffee too! im a visitor to tassie and have realised good coffee is hard to find! however they have got it on point here 👌🏻 plenty of indoor seating with also available front outdoor seating. i would definitely be keen on coming back to try out their other dishes
Very cool cafe in Launceston. Had the cafes take on a bruschetta with Jerusalem artichoke and heirloom tomatoes and it was amazing. The coffee here is also brilliant, as are the staff who were friendly and welcoming. Finally the cafe fitout is very trendy. I would recommend tracking this place down when in Launceston.
