Sweet Tomatoes in North Las Vegas

I really hate that they closed. This was one of my favorite places to go eat. My kids grew up on Sweet Tomatoes, and my grandson was being brought up on it. All I can say at this point, was you will definitely be missed. All I want now is a souvenir.

Very saddened by the closing of this great resturant. Good prices, food, service, and selection. We went weekly and never got tired of it. It was a fast and healthy staple and surely will be missed.

Everything was good except the soup. Whoever made the soup made it for old folks. It was an emergency seasoning moment. Mild ohhhh how mild. The salads pulled them through. The pasta needed help. I do hope they open back up because the salad ingredients were top notch. One salad is a meal here. Its worth the money for that alone. More.

This is my first time trying sweet tomatoes 🍅!! And I was impressed, you walk right into FOOD!!! Grab a plate 🥣🥗 pay 💰 and start eating easy as 123, got my drink, ate! Got up and started again, this time, 🍲 soup!! And cornbread! Pizza bites, I went in!!!!! And there super clean 🧼. I will be back I loved it it was awesome! Was a different experience. A salad buffet with several soups, breads, potatoes, and even desserts. It was amazingly good. Clean atmosphere, clean food stations, and great customer service. Always someone picking up your dishes and greeting you. A must try. Kudo to the cleanliness. 🤗

My favorite fresh buffet. Never disappointed. But if youre looking for meat dishes, you may want to try elsewhere. They have a few salad toppers, but no meaty entrees. Really delicious soups and salads though. Great beverage offerings.

Nice salad bar, good soup, and great little baked potatoes! Nice casual place.

The service was really good they came and cleaned the dirty plates right away. There were no lines to get any of the other stuff . The pasta was good all the bread was hot and fresh. The salad area was neat and clean. The drink area was clean and the ice machine worked ok. The tables are wiped down quickly and kept clean. The employees were all very nice . But the bathrooms were old and the faucets were dripping the toilet seats were all broken there were 2 stalls and 2 had no toilet paper.

The food is delicious and fresh and the service is great. The prices are very affordable also. If you go during dinner though you might have a difficult time finding a place to sit. It can be difficult during the busy times to get to the soup and other hot food. I would suggest to go during the end of lunch when the prices are slightly cheaper and the restaurant has less people. Otherwise I really like this place.

As always sweet tomatos is great.Service is okPeople in the back are nice though.Food can be a bit under seasoned but just at a little table salt and your in business. Unfortunately their bread is always stale and even when they put new bread often times its cold.I love this place but they dont aim for perfection but if they did it would be even better.

Great soup and salad bar! All soups are made fresh in house daily. I recommend getting less bread so you can try all the different soups. I was not smart enough to think of that the first time, but now i know for next time. It’s a smidgen over priced, $30 for two people with drinks... but I imagine if you eat a lot more it would be a good value for others, author myself personally. I was full after one salad and a soup.

We come here at least once a month, the items on the salad bar are always well stocked and fresh. The soup selection is wonderful and hot. The baked goods never fail to satisfy either. There is a wide selection of items to please even the pickiest of eaters. If you join the club you will receive coupons that give you an even better value for your money.

Great food. two lady employees running the cash registers were SO OVERWEIGHT. presents a bad image for a healthy place to eat. These 2 employee ladies were so fat. Food was good. GET FIT PEOPLE

Im always glad when Im in the neighbor at lunch time, so I can have a wonderful meal there. I can have what I want and as much of it as I want. Everything is fresh-tasting, but I wish they actually put tuna in the tuna noodle dish (I think they throw in a couple of sprinkles of it, but Ive yet to actually see a piece of tuna!)

The combination of everything to go into a salad right there at your fingertips chopped up nice and fresh. I ate there actually quite frequently soups are great muffins are good if you want. The restaurant is clean give it a go!

Great fresh salad bar. Food good enough for me and my vegetarian daughter. That was a real plus. Udon noodle soup was excellent.

When I was there it was getting busy and it was my first time there. Everything looked very nice and clean, the salad bar was nicely kept and everything was freshly done. It was a little new to me, but it was a nice experience just the same. Will definitely be going back to dine there.

You guys. We came into town as a family (husband, 2 kids age 4 and 6and it was late. We spent a TON of money at the MGM Grand Buffet for dinner and it was..... ok. I looked up this place, off the strip, and thought, has to be better than yesterdays buffet. This. Is. The. Best. Place. Ever. Its cheap, fresh, and delicious! Highly highly recommended for good fresh food. Youll need a car to get here though if youre staying on the strip.

I wish these were a franchise because I would take out a loan to open one in my area. Everytime we go to Vegas we stop here. All you can eat salad, soup, pasta, pizza and ice cream. It has the freshest salad bar, so many choices of dressing and about six soup choices. The brownies are awesome as well.

I have been here a few times and left feeling satisfied. They have various types of lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheeses, garbanzo, croutons, raisins, carrots, mushrooms, onion, black olives, and many different types of salad dressings and pasta salad. The only things that are missing are freshly sliced avocados, fruit, and maybe bean salad. They have 3-4 types of soup as well as hot pasta, and a hot potato section with plain and sweet potatoes. There are also some different bread options as well as desserts such as ice cream and brownies. This is a healthier alternative in comparison to some of the other lunch spots on Rainbow and Lake Mead.

This is a popular place for us to dine as a family. There are a lot of options we all like, and vegetables are the first things on our plates.Counters are kept clean and items well stocked. Staff are often around to quickly remove finished dishes from tables.

We stopped for lunch with three in our party. We all had the soup and salad bar. The shrimp bisque soup and the cheese broccoli soup were both very tasty. The extensive salad bar offered everything I like in a salad. All three of us throughly enjoyed the meal which was the highlight of our shopping trip.

Good food. Nice seating. Buffets always tend to be a bit pricey. But all in all it was a pretty good place. I loved the small ice cream cones. They were maybe an inch or so tall but very cute. With fudge and sprinkles. Large salad bar and some soup options.

If none of it was organic than whats the point?! I know!! To eat overpriced salads that taste like the GMO and pesticides you can have anywhere else.ALSO IF YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE PERSON IS A MILITARY PERSONNEL THAN ASK THEM SO THEY CAN GET THE DISCOUNT THEY RIGHTFULLY DESERVE!!! The salad bar was wonderful, by far my favorite part. Their desserts were surprisingly good as well. The pasta was a bit lacking, not my favorite. The soup was a bit disappointing, but I could just be picky. My mother enjoyed it a lot; she frequents this place with her friends.

After eating here my wife and I were truly satisfied and beyond full in a good way. This place blows away any soup/salad dining we have here in the midwest. Salad bar was fresh, and had vegetables galore. Many different soup options, along with some noodle and dessert choices topped off a delicious and filling lunch. Staff was nothing but kind, and the place was clean and well taken care of. I really really wish we had ANYTHING like this in the midwest. Highly recommend visiting this location!

Me i am not a salad kind of person but this place was AWESOME! Everything i had was so good...Today was super crowded... well it was the weekend and lunchtime...We walked into this place and we were overwhelmed by the super long salad bar... there was like 6 different vegetable salads from plain to Asian to Cesar to Italian to oil and vinegar they even had pasta salad...Then they have so many choices of toppings mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, spinach, bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, olives, pickles, beets, carrots, cucumbers, celery, all kinds of different cheeses, and all kinds of crunchy toppings like sunflower seeds, croutons, bacon bits, then all the different types of dressing as well plus so much more...My favorite was the baked potato bar... yes... baked potato with all the toppings as much as you can handle... me i had to put butter, sour cream and chives, and lots of bacon...The soups! OMG! So many choices... i went for the cheese and broccoli... so good and creamy... gotta come back to try the rest... i believe there was like at least 15 different kind of soups...Oh yes now i have a new favorite... This blew my mind! Snickerdoodle muffins! OMG! THIS IS SO ONOLISHOUS!!! I couldnt get enough of this! Then i put the whipped butter... awww man... talk about broke da mouth! And tapioca pudding too...They had other dessert stuff to like brownies and cornbread, jello, ice milk and a few other things...I was so stuffed when i left... total kanak attack...

The price is great and you can save a buck or two if you sign up with them on their app. Also easy to find coupons in mailers for sweet tomatoes like the Wednesday ads. Much healthier option than fast food. It is best to go in a group rather than alone.

It has been many years since my I have tried this restaurant. I thought I would try it and it is pretty much like it was the last time Ive been here most of their food has no flavor. All of the sauce and the pastas are very thin the Alfredo and the cheese macaroni the sauces are running taste a little watery its not thick and creamy how it should be. The soups didnt have much flavor. If you like salad you cant mess that up so you can go there for that but I wouldnt go there for anything else

Lots of G-R-E-A-T choices for a good price. Anything you could possibly want on salad, plus several soup choices, breads and a few pastas. Will definitely be back.

My mom liked it. I found it rather underwhelming at price point living in a town known for buffets. In all fairness, we were there late for lunch and the soups seemed over reduced by that time. Layout seemed counterintuitive to me. Staff was nice for a buffet.

Sweet Tomatoes is an all you can eat buffet. Its primarily salad and soup, but they also have some other stuff: breads, baked potatoes (with fixings), mac and cheese, some taco stuff, a few desserts, etc. Its always tasty, generally clean, and the staff is friendly. The price is reasonable, about $12, and you can usually find coupons around which will save you a few bucks per person.

Always fresh and something new to try often, staff is friendly and accommodating. My husband and I had dinner one night during a wind storm, power was going in and out. The manager on duty and her team did an amazing job, using flashlights so we could see and get more food. Power did thankfully come on and stay on.

Im not a salad person nor i like very healthy food but boy was i wrong!! Should of listen to my wife before it was delicious! Especially there creamy mushroom soup was amazing so much flavor in one single bowl. Also everything was clean including bathroom which was a plus for me. Strongly recommend it

Great choice of fresh ingredients, plenty of Homemade dressings and salad toppers on the buffet. Awesome soups with lots of tasty vegetarian choices. My wife and I are from Maryland and happened to be in town for business and we were dying for a good salad that didnt cost an arm and a leg. Daniel explained how the buffet works and how they make their prepared salads, soups etc. Great experience! Wish we had one back home

I guess that Im a fan of Sweet Tomatoes. It is a good meal for the price!They email me coupons so we feel like we get a deal, each month they release new signature items and its an all you can eat salad bar with soup and more. We couldnt prep all the things we love on our salads and eat for the price we end up paying.The staff is attentive in clearing our plates as we finish them and nice so we usually leave them tips (yes, its okay to tip someone working hard in a food establishment).The only downside can be other patrons but you have to look past that when diniing at a buffet (it can be quite annoying or disturbing sometimes).No matter what we will be back to Sweet Tomatoes for a "healthy: meal.

Same food all the time. Nothing different, but I like it! Chicken noodle soup is wonderful, if you can get the chicken. I wish the tomato soup had basil in it. The pasta is good but wait for a new batch. I would give 5 stars but they are hit and miss on the cookies which I happen to like. The manager in this location is very nice and friendly!

This place is really nice. I was a bit confused walking in because i didnt know what to do. Then a couple came in and we followed them. All the staff checked on us to make sure everything was good. I stopped Mike to ask a question. He was the greatest. I got the answers i needed and he brought us a bag of cookies since we were newbies to Sweet Tomatoes. I would definitely recommend this place and Ill be back for sure!

Salad, soups, and starches, who could ask for more? This restaurant is clean, their veggies are fresh and cut into manageable sizes, and the soups are homemade.Gluten-friendly options are clearly marked, although their kitchen isnt a gluten free kitchen. This is a great place to come after the game, as its family friendly and full of healthy options.

I really like the wide variety of ingredients in the salad buffet. I go here to get a buffet that is actually healthy for a change. They also have a few desserts and bready things, but I mostly stay away from those.

Good variety of salad at a decent price for either lunch or dinner. Plus, it is a good for family that have young kids. Few selected of pizza and pastries. Other than that, very accomodating enough for small buffet for those who dont want to eat a lot but healthy. Downside, :( i got food poisoning from salad. I hope they should keep a fresh salad.

Okay so I love this place especially since Im trying to avoid eating junk so a salad soup buffet is awesome the staff there is great and almost every time I have gone there their r different options of soup. Only complaints I can make is that its pricey 2 adults with drinks is about 26dollars and my other complaint is that Ive been there numerous times n it seems every time I go there most of the plates seem dirty one after a other, always some kind of residue or spec on the plates. But other than that I love this place all you can eat soup n salad n there coconut bread n honey bitter to die for.

We had a excellent meal today. They were very busy but they seated us right away. The food was very good. Their now serving breakfast on Saturday and Sundays.

The kids love the fresh baked goods and the mac and cheese.Always a great time here.If you arent on their mailing list, you will want to be on their mailing list - they send valuable coupons by email each week or so... always a great deal to be had here.

This is a salad bar to beat all salad bars! So many delicious options to pile onto your plate. I felt like such a pig with my mile high plate of veggie goodness. They also have a good selection of soups and breads and desserts. I was pretty full after my salad, so I didnt indulge into many of their other options. I did have a brownie, which wasnt anything to write home about. It was pretty dry. :( The area with the soup and breads didnt seem to have trays available, which was pretty inconvenient and was probably a contributing factor to me not eating more (maybe a good thing?because I wasnt able to carry more back to my table.We went here for lunch on a Friday. It was very busy, and we had to wait for a table to open up after we paid. Lots of families and kids.
