A variety of creative Asian desserts whipped up in a small, laid-back space with late hours.
So good! Will definitely come back. Loved their mochi!
Absolutely loved the mango waffle! The mango pancake was okay. The mango cocunut jelly was heavenly. Definitely coming back again!
Got takeout dessert from here and it hit the spot! We got the #2 herbal jelly combo and it was so yummy. The taro / sweet potato mochi were so chewy and it was the perfect sweetness level. They were also super quick with making it!
The mango dessert are the best one!
Card minimums, bring cash if you only want one item.
The menu has a large variety of deserts. Everything is delicious!
My favorite Asian sweets! I thought I lost this place and rediscovered it again in Chinatown. Delicious!
We came here for the first time on 8/28/2022. We chose 3 items to try. We ordered a Strawberry milk which is shaved ice, strawberries, and coconut and jelly pieces. It was very nice. The 2nd item was Taro Moochie which was also good. The 3rd item was Coffee Icecream which had fruit with it. We enjoy all our items. The place is not fancy but they make nice desserts. The place seemed to have a steady flow of people coming in there while we were there. If you enjoy Asian desserts, or would like to try something new and different, then give this place a try! Located on Beach Street in Boston Massachusetts.
Shaved ice could have been better. Im looking for Bingsu.
Toooo much sweetening agent
Instantly a new favorite! Cant wait to bring friends! So delicious with interesting and refreshing options
Very disappointed. I paid 5 dollars for a little piece of mango inside.
I came here during the pandemic and had absolutely not expectations. To my surprise it was actually not bad and I came back a second time. Due to Covid I had to take my order outside to eat and obviously it would have been better eat inside but the food itself was not bad. Make sure to check their schedule before you go as they are not open everyday.
Ice cream is subpar, nothing spectacular. Bubble tea is powder and not real tea but not many places do that. The mochi is decent and the red beans were really mushy last time we were here. I would skip this place and go somewhere else.
Loves their different range of sweetness menu. So creative.
Good place for Chinese style dessert like shaved ice, herbal jelly, and soy pudding 豆花. Do tell them if you are dairy sensitive so they can use sugar syrup in the 豆花.
Fresh and fun! The soft waffle with pineapple was yummy!
Got the Mango Kingdom. It was too much mango for me. Not sure why I was expecting a moderate amount of mango when the dessert was called "Mango Kingdom". Ill try something else next time I visit and update my review.
The Chinese name for this place is knockoff of Meet Fresh. But this one tastes great and the actual Meet Fresh in the US is Meet Trash!
Taro balls were hard, not soft.Overall, not as good as Meet Fresh or the ones I have had in Vietnam, Singapore, or Taiwan.
𝗬𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆 😋 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 😋 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀!! 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳.
So good we had to get seconds. The menu was very diverse and has something for everyone! We enjoyed the mango desserts and the fruit was so sweet and fresh. Highly recommend for a late night snack that won’t weigh you down
tastes awful and they might put a bag of sugar in one cup of milk tea. Cannot be worse. I threw it away after I had a little sip~🚽🚽🚽🤮
This is my first time trying Chinese shaved ice and was delicious!!! I got the strawberry one and the fresh strawberries were delicious and so refreshing on a hot day. Would order again.
Absolutely the best dessert! My favorite is their soy pudding moochi. It is just the right sweetness with a lot of tasty ingredient in it, much better than similar desserts from other shops.
Sweet and different than the usual dessert spots. Its a must stop at for this Texan.
Very good desserts. It only has a few seats inside so in get cramped when it gets busy. It also only has one restroom.
Staff not friendly at allllll. So mean, not welcoming guests and not calling when dressed is ready. No smiles at all. Paid for the package bag, if you purchase one dessert you get a super small plastic bag if you buy more you get environmental friendly paper bag for the same package fee. Crazy
Unique desserts that are hard to find in other places. The cold desserts are good, but if you havent tried a warm or hot dessert it can be life changing. Also! Bring someone youre willing to share with, the portions are pretty big.
Ice cream left to be wanting. Otherwise good dessert place!
Came here for dessert. The service is so underwhelming. The staff is on his phone playing video games while tables are dirty. We for the mooochi fruit. It was okay and pricy at $9 something. Probably wont be back because of the underwhelming experience
I cant believe they have fresh durian! The food is good but the place is small and kind of chaotic. Theres a bunch of extra stools pulled in a corner and I had to clean my own table. Staff its not very friendly. Nothing to write home about.
I came here for dessert, and I built my own. I got herbal jelly as the base, and I added red bean, taro mochi, and purple yam mochi. The herbal jelly was microwaved, and I know this because the outside was warm while the inside was still cold. The mochis were good and so was the red bean, but I suspect I didnt need to add both taro and purple yam because I also had sweet potato ones, so ordering one mochi probably just comes with all of them. The dessert was definitely on the pricier side at $10.17 post-tax, although it was quite large and could be shared between two. I found the coconut milk strange; usually in these sorts of desserts, the herbal jelly is liquid and not actually jelly so it serves as the soup base, but I guess this is how Sweet Kingdom does it. Also, theres no Wifi here.
The raisins added to the dessert were hard and pretty old. Not recommended
Wow! This place is FANTASTIC! Really loved their desserts. The desserts are super light and refreshing. I still think of this place often and wish we had one near us. My favorite was the red bean and taro shaved ice. It was a perfect balance of flavors. Not overly sweet. Service is really fast. The staff isnt super friendly or warm and welcoming, but they are super efficient. I highly recommend this place!
Taro was bland. It should be cooked sweet. Cashier was not very patient to explain their products.
Staff was really unfriendly. Girl here first timer had no idea whats good and not local, asked for recommendations and the cashier seems like she didnt really want to answer me. Welp. I could really use some friendliness?Friendly reminder: they dont take cards below $10.Guess what? I went across the street to get my chatime instead.
Unfriendly services. Asked for some napkins for the fried fish the short hair cashier pulled a roll of toilet paper back somewhere instead of grabbing some napkins right next to her. Are you kidding me? Cute looking girl but bad manner and horrible customer services. Won’t be going there anymore.
Love this place! Awesome Asian desserts that are very herbal and natural (not very sweet, not a lot of confection or fanciness; just good ingredients . Service is fast and the place is pretty modern and clean
Pleasantly surprised that the tapioca balls were all cooked through. The sweet potato/taro balls could be softer/tastier. Overall, refreshing and satisfying on a hot summer day!
Many varieties. Staff was helpful and gives good recommendations. Cozy environment. They made desserts fresh on order so It can take a while. A bit pricey, but the desserts were really nice. I’ve tried the durian kingdom, durian pancake and basil seed fruit bowl. All very delicious.
Love it❤️ 😍 💗 Ordered the tofu pudding with taro, lotus seed and jelly, unbelievably delicious!!! Great variety of choices and reasonable price.
Great selection of Asian desserts! Waffle tonight topped with whip cream, mangoes, and mango ice cream. Yum!!!Will come back next for shaved ice and milk teas :)
The drinks and the sweet treats are good. However, the cashier could have such a attitude at times. We simply order iced tea WITHOUT the milk, and we got tea with Milk in it. We told them that we did not want milk in our tea but they just simply ignored us completely! Guess what!? We’d never come back here again!
Delicious, well balanced Asian desserts
Love getting dessert there when i havent stuffed myself with food from Chinatown there. Been there a few times and also had to not go there a few times cause i was too full. Lots of choices and it probably helps if you grew up with a lot of the desert options so you know what you ask for, but i just keep going to try everything eventually!
Ice is not soft and lite... It is hard with big chunks. But flavors are good.
Friendly service and really fun desserts. Small, but cozy and well decorated. I personally loved the plates and silverware as a restauranteur myself. Shaved ices were perfect for a hot and humid boston day, and the strawberry milk shaved ice tasted JUST like strawberry nesquik. Deeeee-lish!
Mango shaved ice was like slushi (crushed ice with mango syruptopped with coconut jelly and mango chunks. Bit disappointed because we thought it would be real shaved ice... Should have checked photos 😔
Had the black sesame soup with tang yuen. The soup was meh, the 5 tang yuen were good. I think they were filled with ground sesame and maybe some peanuts, guessing by the taste. I wish Id ordered it for takeaway and eaten half now and half later because they were pretty big.
