Sweet Beat Cafe - Cafe in Sligeach, Ireland
Beautiful food but service can be slow as freshly prepared.
Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning.. the lady/waitress was one of the most unhelpful I have come across.. She seemed to not want to be there at all and that same feeling has rubbed off on me as well as I can safely say I will never set foot in the place ever again. Expensive also for what it is
A really nice vegan food hub. The cheese toastie and tomato soup were gorgeous. Atmosphere and staff were lovely. The only thing is my mam and I timed to go in at 4pm as it says it is open til 5pm, but when we arrived they told us the kitchen was closed! Maybe should specify that so as to avoid disappointed vegans! Overall such a gem in Sligo Town.
The food was nice and the staff were friendly. Their brownies and blondies were amazing !!! I also got the sausage roll which tasted really good. Would definitely go back for lunch or breakfast.
The grilled cheese we got was very flavorful and the smoothies we got were a nice pick-me-up from all the heavy foods we had been eating out on.
I bought some humus and pesto to take to electric picnic , I had a coffee with a Buddah bowl as well , absolutely devine. The food is so good. I will be back
Used to be my favorite place in town but drastically gone downhill in the last year.Service is appalling and staff are rude.Food is still really good but disappointed in the service and staff everytime these days:(
We love the freshly made options here, but there is less choice now. They have more pre made stuff like sandwiches instead. Its still the best place to eat in Sligo and better than anywhere in London for us, but were quite disappointed there are much fewer freshly prepared options. Its vegan bar the milk they offer and reasonably healthy.
Greasiest croissant I have ever had. It was in its own paper bag inside the bag with the bread and by the time I got home I had put it all in another bag to stop it from brushing oil against anything. 😳 Wouldnt tasted great but was weighed down and a bit unpleasant from all the oil.Blueberry banana bread was nice flavor and good density. One of the staff was super friendly but the other seemed as if the presence of customers was an interruption - bordering on outright rude. 😕I dont imagine Ill be back with other veg options in Sligo.
We got the breakfast burrito and the portobello mushroom on toast, both highly enjoyable. It’s a small cafe but they do have a nice outside seating area for the sunny days 🌞🌞
Best vegan cafe in Ireland, the food is sublime but the staff are truly what makes Sweat Beat Cafe ❤️ always a friendly face and happy to help in any way possible x
Delicious lunch, affordable too. Nice coffee and their treats are pretty good. You can count on them to be satisfied with whatever you get. Very satisfying food and drink for price point. One of the best cafes in Sligo-top recommendation
Great plant based café, v busy, fantastic food, especially the sourdough and brownies.
Fairly pricey and bit ridiculous for a vegan cafe to charge extra for alternative milks, food is alright but there’s better vegan/vegetarian options around town
Best vegan avo chilli hummus on sourdough toast with greens and seeds 😋 mmm yes!
Food was good... But the service was very poor - with exeption of the young man who showed some interest.
so you come to Sligo and you end up having the best espresso in years ...very nice cafe. the food was outstanding, but the coffee was even better !!!
Very nice food and drinks, but it took some time until we got our drinks and food. You have to order at the counter, but waitresses will bring everything to your table. You can sit inside (downstairs or upstairsor outside.
Love this place, have lunched here for several months, delicious everytime. The tumeric butter is divine.
Vegan friendly cafe with delicious food for take away or to eat there! They have tables downstairs and upstairs, they also have an outdoor area to use if is not raining. Staff is nice and place is clean. If you visit Sligo you need to stop there and eat their food so yummi!!We would love to have you down in Killarney!!!
Delicious food, good coffee and delightful staff, would thoroughly recommend.
Delicious food and 3fe coffee. Breakfast is particularly good. Handy high chairs upstairs for babies and parking at the door too so it’s a very easy trip!
Lovely fresh tasty vegan food never disappointed always deliver a great tasty meal my favourite place in sligo by far
Such an incredible place with incredible staff and equally incredible food! Can honestly say that I’ve never left Sweet Beat feeling disappointed! They exceed every expectation, time after time! A must when in Sligo
This is the 2nd time Ive been there. Good food BUT:- theres a 50% chance you mightnt get what you asked for- half of things you ask for on the menu arent available- you might be looking for gluten-free homebaked goods (my partner eats GFand they say they dont have any, then you find a load in a tupperware in the fridge beside your tableOur table and the 2 beside us all didnt get what we wanted or had orders confused and mixed up. Also I thought it was quite unprofessional to arrive with our coffees and not offer to take the plates and cups that were on our table (that they knew werent ours- I had to ask her to.I hope you take this as constructive criticism - I see alot of potential but it just seems super badly organised...
A fantastic vegan food experience! The staff is super friendly and inviting. They have a delicious menu and some delightful treats. The coffee is to die for! You can also buy some staples in the shop. When in Sligo, stop here!
The most unfriendly and uncomfortable places to be in Sligo. Staff are so rude. Owner is the most rudest of them all. Food is inconsistent. Riddled with garlic. Too much coriander. COFFEE OVERPRICED FOR MEDIOCRITY. Theres thankfully other vegan or vegetarian options about Sligo town. You dont need to go here if youre vegan. Theres BETTER OPTIONS.
Sweetbeat is my go to for plant based treats and lunches in the North West. My favs are an oat milk flat white, a toasted cheese sandwich and a chocolate donut. So handy for vegan dinners too - grabbed a dal recently when friends were visiting - tasty and nutritious. Would recommend to a friend.
Love this place, the staff are so kind and accommodating. They went out of the way to make me a coffee with Maca and Cacao which had been on as a special months previously. Love the scones, the nut butter toast and the granola pots. I try to get here at least once a week⭐️
Sweet beat is lively and has tasty vegan food! Staff are lovely as well. The food did take a rather long time to come out, and there was coriander on the avo toast which wasnt mentioned on the menu (shes a controversial herb!Otherwise lovely experience.
One of the best vegan spots in the country! This was our go to while in town for coffee (decaff availableand treats, the breakfast burrito is divine, and their take home selection is also incredible, the BEST coconut curry and dal. The staff is lovely and attentive. One of our favourite spots out west!
This place is amazing. I ordered 5 Christmas hampers which make a fabulous gift. I was so excited to receive free coffee and donuts when I collected them. It made my day🥰..Thank you
Fantastic little gem, delicious vegan food, nice staff and dog friendly 🥰
Love this place, its really cozy and has extremely delicious food options!! I had an amazing breakfast, highly recommended. The only reason I only gave 4 stars and not 5, is because even though I ate inside, me and all other customers were served our food in bio-degradable (yes), but still single use cups, papers, plats and cutlery, dont understand that concept.
Highly recommend. The food is superb. Had lunch and then went back again the next morning for breakfast. Would 100% get the breakfast burrito again. Delicious. Love that the cutlery and bowls are compostable. Staff are really friendly. Centrally located. Don’t miss this little gem.
We had delicious breakfast burritos and tasty coffee after seeing them on Google. And then decided to come back the next day for lunch and had a vegan cheese toasty and it was awesome! Nice selection of take out meals and treats.
Lovely staff and tastiest vegan food in Sligo. Therere also lots of tasty treats and vegan products in the shop. Ill definitely come back again next time Im in Sligo. Thank you! :)
I must say I had a very tasty sourdough toastie and the coffee was lovely too. The cakes look amazing also. Being vegan Im delighted to have found this place, unfortunately it will be a once in a while treat as the prices are a tad high for my pocket. In general, I can never understand how vegan food costs so much being from plant origin.
Sweet beat was just that... Sweet!! Had there cheese, caramelised onion and bechemel toastie which was delicious. The portion was generous too. Nice to see 3FE coffee in the west too....! Ill be back....
Lovely busy little veggie cafe! We got: soup + sourdough with turmeric butter, sourdough cheese toastie (they use the follow your heart vegan cheddar shredsand the daily special of chipotle chilli tacos, followed by oat milk tea with hazelnut cookie and sticky toffee pudding. Food was delicious, service was a bit slow. Small amount of seats inside and out. Eco friendly as all dishes / cutlery / napkins are compostable. Lovely little shop inside with many vegan and irish products for sale. Just to note, not a fully vegan cafe, almost put cow milk in my tea as it is the only one out for tea or coffee and wasnt labelled (luckily I asked- cafe could do with clearly labelling whats vegan or not. Overall big thumbs up, great to see a veggie cafe doing so well.
Great coffee (3fe), and tasty treats! Will be back to sample some proper bites soon again!
Fully vegan cafe in SligoThe staff are are really nice and the menu is big enoughI had the avocado and hummus sourdough, it was so big and really filling however the bread was a bit too harsh to cut and bite into.Prices are around 8-11 for main mealsDifferent desserts available everyday. The cinnamon buns were v delish! Will come again!
Absolutely delicious. It’s my new favorite spot when I visit Sligo. The portions are big and the staff is very friendly.Definitely a must even if you’re not vegan/vegetarian.I had an avocado toast and I’m still dreaming about it. Can’t wait to come back.
It is a really nice place with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. I liked the fact that it was child friendly as well with high chair, toys and babychino so we could spend our breakfast in peace which was an added bonus.
Passing through Sligo we were in desperate need for some real good coffee. Sweet Beat did not disappoint. Our taste buds couldnt resist the magnanimous doughnuts that we were presented. Amazing Coffee, Amazing Doughnuts, Amazing Vibe and all around Amazing Experience. Highly Recommend.
Super lovely staff, delicious food, always some happy music playing in the background. Love the atmosphere here.
Amazing plantbased wholefoods cafe in Sligo! A very relaxed cafe with lots of smoothies and raw vegan sweet treats.
I highly recommend their Vietnamese style iced coffee! Its got a really lovely cardamom flavour to it as well as the caramelly date flavour.
Most amazing vegan food. The staff was really helpful and friendly as well. Also a nice place to sit for a while.
Fantastic healthy food. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.
