Sushimania in Brighton

THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST , THE SOBA NOODLES ARE VERY VERY GOOD.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, MUCH BETTER THAN YOSUSHI .EAT HERE RIGHT NOW

A group of 5 of us tried Sushimanias all you can eat buffet which was delicious and fulfilling. Our meals consisted of hot dishes and sushi dishes, where you could order 6 hot dishes and 6 cold dishes every 15 minutes. Each dish was reasonable sized and we eventually ordered 5 full rounds of food (60 plates).The service we received from the waiters/waitresses and manager was very pleasant, they both catered to us when needed and we were given complimentary green tea with our meals, we were also offered with free plates of dessert by the end of our meal.By the end, we were very satisfied with both the food and the service presented. Our first visit wasnt great as we we experienced low quality food and rude service. The food was cold, over cooked and had little taste and the manager and waiters were not kind. We decided it give it another try, thinking maybe they were having a bad day. However the second visit was disastrous. The food was cold, over cooked and had little taste. We were given dirty cups and cutlery (with clear lipstick residuewhich I raised only to be aggressively spoken at and called a liar by the manager Danny. I have never experience anything quite like this. I showed the cup and respectfully asked it to be replaced and he spoke to me in a verbally abusive manner. We were so upset that we left and will not be returning.

This is literally the worst sushi Ive ever had in my life, and Im not picky with food. The pieces had too much rice in them, the flavour was AWFUL, and they were disgustingly WARM.I paid for the All You Can Eat service and it was a waste of money because the quality was so bad that I didnt want to keep eating after a few pieces.

Such good value for money! 100% better than YoSushi! Simple ordering system which is now done via a tablet, which is hreat because you can see images of what you are ordering. The service used to be a bit slow many years ago but its really good now! The price is now £20.80 pp for all you can eat buffet.

Nice place to eat..the salad and grilled salmon are my Favourite. Sorry I was too hungry to take photos lol

Advertised as half price after 10pm. Turned up at 10pm and we weren’t allowed in. He said the kitchen closes at 10:30 so we would have to order before then…. we could definitely order in half an hour.Also then said that they closed at 10:30pm and the website says 11pm.Just very disappointed and hungry because we purposefully waited until 10pm. Was very excited for this as Japanese food is my favourite and normally very expensive.

Food was decent and the service was good. Arrived to be greeted and told to make my way to an ATM as card is not accepted.

Easily the best Sushi eatery in Sussex...go feast and enjoy...you will not be disappointed

Go here quite alot! The priceses has gone up but the quality of food and the amount is great!

Absolutely not authentic sushi! "a la carte menu" waited too long in between dishes! What i dont get Is why give good sashimi despite the fish in the rolls that was really poor quality?! (neither average).At some point It felt like eat the same rolls but with different toppings!However nice pork belly ramen and prawns Yaki soba! If your attempt was to not let us to come back, deffo we wont!

Good menu choice, half price or £16 all you can eat. Good service. Nice location near the seafront. Not all foods included in the above menus, so check first if you’re not sure.

Just left, waited for 10 mins the only waitress told us to wait for a min but took her time cleaning a couple empty tables when there were more than 10 tables empty for us to sit and less than 6 or 7 tables oxcupied. Extremely bad service dont even attempt going in.

I recently visited this restaurant again after giving a poor review two years ago due to very poor service from staff.Im pleased to report that on my recent visit in August 2022, the service had dramatically improved and the food was exceptionally good. The restaurant wasnt particularly busy when I was there so not sure if the service would be the same if the restaurant was full of customers.In all, a very good experience for a great range of Sushi, Sashimi and other Japanese delicacies with the excellent option of a fixed price (all you can eatwithin a certain time frame. This restaurant provides quality food at a very reasonable price compared to other Japanese restaurants in the city.Highly recommended.

Good food and service at reasonable price.

The all you can eat menu is a big list, not only sushi but other interesting stuff.. But careful on ordering, 1 portion is big....if cant finish, need to pay 5 pounds per box.

Very good food, their fried foods especially were perfectly deep fried and the staff was super friendly. My two friends and I left stuffed. We read some reviews about the service being slow and that was not our experience at all. They had a steady flownof food the entire time until we finished ordering. I think the menu compared to other all you can eat sushi places is a little bit small, but not small enough to be an issue at all.

Went to Brighton with family on Tuesday. First time tried Sushimania at Brighton it was very disappointed! Order first round meals, and 4 hot green tea.we expect to wait but it been waiting more then 20 minutes. We ate the some first round food, then we order second round ,it was finished but still wait long time the first round foods and the tea. We ask waiter some more wasabi but there chat in one group and forgot our wasabi. Service is bad still charge 10%service charge! Finally order Edamame it was cold not hot enough, still cold inside. I will said NEVER go back anymore, everything is bad! Not worth to spent £146.96on this meals.Never had the Japanese meals bad like this shop.

Very bad service,4 young waiters just keeping talking dont serve customer,the Edamame raw,noodle soup and all sauce is like water , tasteless.even order green tea is no taste like tea absolutely all rubbish ,very disappointed,if you want to eat sushi never come the shop . Waste money

I have had better experiences at other branches but this was awful. So dark and dingy got sat right next to other people barely room to move. Tempura was soggy and mushy and the Sushi was made with no care. The rice was congealed into a paste making it unappetising. Like I said I have been to other branches where everything was perfect but for the price I paid, this one really was not worth it.

Bottomless (All You Can Eatmenu; Honest review with facts:Facts:Price £20.08 + 10% service charge (2 person minimum.Time limit to 1 hr 45 mins. Only allowed to order 12 items in total per time irregardless of number of people at the table. They will charge you for any left over food. (Most of this is written in fine print)- Food 4/5: Everything looked fresh and tasty, but unsure of the quality of their raw fish. Not everything we ordered arrived, but we definitely ate our money’s worth.- Cleanliness 2/5: Table oily, floor dirty, menu uncleaned, boxes stacked in the dinning area.- Staff 3/5: Every Staff was friendly until, we got to the 3rd round of ordering. Then they outright ignored us to stop us from ordering more. So, we just went up to the counter to tell them what we wanted next.- Time: 2/5: Took a long time for first plates to arrive. Purposefully tried to delay our food from coming so we order less.3 stars because we ate our money’s worth, although it was quite stressful to keep track of what arrived, what was missing, and fighting to get our orders taken.

Ate on the excellent value bottomless menu, good opportunity to try a few different dishes. Food is great and the service helpful & prompt. Will certainly be back again soon!

All the sushi and tempura...just no. The rice was still hot in the sushi and the salmon was cold (?Created a weird texture. The tempura was very odd, not right at all. However the chicken noodles I loved thoroughly and the staff seemed sweet and I loved the interior of this resturaunt a lot, very well designed but I dont think Ill be back here soon.

We barely made the 1/2 price lunch menu. If you’re in Brighton, want some sushi and also want the dine-in experience, this restaurant is for you. This is by far the best sushi I’ve ever had, and it was so cheap too! Service was amazing, food came fast and tasted amazing!

A nice selection of tempura. We had the half price deal but it didnt work out cheaper than eating anywhere else for sushi.

I have ate in numerous of sushi restaurants and never ate sushi of such a poor quality.Firstly, size of the sushi is so big that it cannot be eaten in one bite, one of their sushi can be cut in 3 to become regular size.Secondly, bad rice and filling proportion. I understand this restaurant benefits from adding crazy anount rice to fill a customer up faster but it kinda spoils the overall taste.

Poor service, bad judgement and even worse customer care. It took nearly two hours to deliver 4 out of 6 items originally ordered then refused to take more orders and requested £45! Never again.

So... Much.. Sushi...The food was great but the staff were a bit overbearing.Make sure your eyes arent bigger than your stomach however.

The sushi is good. DONT ORDER TEMPURA, IT WONT BE CRISPY. The only reason for this review is because I have mentioned to them about this before and they havent changed the packaging, it is put in a plastic box which ultimately ends up steaming them soggy again. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS SUSHIMANIA

All you can eat menue available for about £20.80 per person. You are given 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat. Wide variety and good tasting food. Customer service good in terms of having someone to answer your questions when needed. Please be aware that if you intend to take away any left over food, the cost will be £5 per plastic container.

We often eat here but we do accept that dining at Sushimania is pot luck.Sometimes we have a great experience: food is great, service is fast, the app works and management is polite, but other times any one of those, or on occasion all of them, can be sub-par and lead to a poor experience.The general cleaning could do with being better- it does look like everything has been wiped down with a dirty cloth - and the toilets could do with renovation, they are disgusting.If you go in open-minded then you can laugh it off most of the time.

I think you won’t find something better in Brighton even for that price. 18£ and you eat whatever you want. High quality dishes, excellent presentation, nice staff, they offer you tap water right after you enter and sit in your table. I will come back and I wanted to share the excellent service and their amazing food. If you want to eat well and cheap, don’t doubt it and come here. The staff are very friendly and the service is very quick. However the rice to fish ratio was very bad (especially in the Californiarolls). The sushi was mostly rice which makes the "all you can eat" sushi offer not that great as you get full quickly from eating the huge amounts of rice.

Ive eaten at Sushimania a handful of times and had really mixed experiences. The food is always out of this world, but the whole eat as much as you like thing is a bit out of whack. Its like they dont really want you to eat as much as you like. And that makes sense with sushi, its expensive and small, you could really rinse it! But overlooking that, the menu is broad and every dish is delicious. The app to order food worked fine. Staff are polite and courteous, but refilled our drinks after virtually every sip, occasionally spilling a little on the food and table. It was all a bit unnecessary. Nevertheless, its great value, and delicious and if you go in knowing its all a bit preposterous, youll have a good time!

Nice surprise to find Sushimania in Brighton.It’s an all you can eat table service Japanese chain restaurant for 18.80£ per person.Their app is very glitchy and might doesn’t work on iOS but luckily you can still order the ancient way with the order paper and pen.As long as you don’t expect top notch sushi then you do grat. good value for money.Remember you can order max of 6 dishes per page so 12 dishes max per order and make sure you don’t order more than you can eat because wastage will not be tolerated.

Good came quick, tasted delicious and all food was hot and ready!Always love coming here. Finally can give them some recognition for the amazing good they serve!Staff is lovely and welcoming and are always helpful when it comes to ordering.

Usually, I like Sushimania but this location, I’m not sure. Service was adequate and sushi was either bland or too saucy. I’m not sure if it was just a bad day but the food was decently edible. We did enjoy the fact there was 50% off the menu during the time we visited and even an option for buffet. Another plus is that they take the covid guidance seriously and even have an app you could order from.

Sushi mania is great, sensibly priced, delicious sushi, we alway get the 1/2 price lunch menu. You get so much food and rarely spend more than £15 a person!

Absolutely love it!! The food is amazing and so cheap if you go for the bottomless option! I went there with my friends and we ate around £78 worth of food for only £18ish/person!

Need to have nhs contact tracing before you can eat. They will check your temperature on arrival and asked to used alco gel to wash hands. Once seated they will give pin before to order. You must have sushimania app on your phone too.Whilst eating the waiter accidentally dropped deep fried prawn and went inside wifes bag...didnt even bother to apologise. Food is nice, but service need to improve alot!

The sushi is top quality, the service is amazing, and the speed is top notch. Only complaint is the little soy tray, its design allows soy to run down on it while you pour it on sushi. Other than that, its the best!

It was really good. There are so many mixed reviews about this place, and being sushi lovers, we just had to try it out for myself.My other half, and I went for the 1/2 price lunch time and ordered off the al a carte menu (the only items in the deal), getting a whole range of food; Tempura, noodles, sushi, Maki etc. It was all AMAZING. Service was good, and well timed (many other places bring it all out at once, but here it was brought out gradually). We left basically rolling out the door stuffed to the gills for £30 (would have been £60 regularly). We took pics of it all.

Lovely Japanese restaurant offering all you can eat Sushi for £17.80 or half price lunch menu, we went for the half price lunch menu which was a very good deal as the food was excellent and freshly prepared, service was ok considering they were quite busy. The decco could be lightened up a bit.

Lovely food here! We went for the all you can eat option which was £17.80 per person (not during lunch hoursand everything we tried was incredibly enjoyable! Compared to a lot of sushi places this is actually pretty good for price and the food was gorgeous, would definitely go again. Waiter was lovely also.

Lovely Japanese restaurant in the heart of Brighton.Before getting into the food, Id like to point out that both the decor and staff are excellent. The restaurant is elegant and has the usual trimmings of an Asian restaurant but still very cosy. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and helpful.We had the all you can eat buffet. It works by picking 6 items from each side of a buffet menu so 12 dishes per wave and you have 3 waves or a time limit to eat. This method is great cause all the food is always made to order, hot and you dont have waste.We especially liked the nigiri, the salmon in particular is top notch. The other stand outs were the katsu prawns and the temaki rolls.Only dishes cant recommend would be the kimchi as its too watery and the edamame as they were too salty.Overall great experience.
