Went there around 1pm. Took the all we can eat offer- £24.99. Serving takes a while. Sushi servings were as expected same with the noodles. However, some other servings were too small like the salmon and chicken teriyaki. For me, Miss Korea, which is just right across offers better food and selections with how much I paid for here.

The food was really good but made me really thirsty after. Its priced very reasonably and is a great spot for lunch! Service can be a little slow during peak hours.

The service was very good. Staff was polite and friendly. But the food itself was not so. I eat sushi often but I could not bring myself to finish what was ordered. The rice in the sushi was like mush. Almost like the rolls were made and then defrosted.

Fresh food, fantastic prices, variety, and they make the perfect sushi. We also had noodles, and delicious starters. This the third time weve eaten here (2 times at the restaurant and 1 delivery). Its just amazing, perfect, fantastic food. We will be back.

Food was lovely but we were one of the first people in the restaurant to come in for lunch and watching others get served hot food straight away, 30-40 minutes after you ordered two rolls is a bit ridiculous. We politely asked twice when our food would arrive and we were told shortly which turned into another 30 minutes. Not really sure what went wrong as others were being served promptly and had come in half an hour after this. Very disappointing as have been to other branches and were fab :(

Good food. Nice variety and half price in the afternoon. Service is great, but the Sushimania app needed to order could do with some tweaks.

We visit here often and are always surprised by how good the quality of the food is despite it being an all you can eat. Si Si, the manager, is so friendly and welcoming and even bought our young daughter a bowl of ice cream :)

Lovely food, not as good as it used to be though. Service was incredibly poor and it was unnecessarily hard to get service or even pay. Wouldnt visit again.

Lovely sushi and an excellent all you can eat. The app you use to order is temperamental and you can only order 6 things every 15 minutes which means you end up with food in dribs and drabs and there are times when youre waiting and hungry and times when you have 5 plates of food in front of you.Its really excellent food and the staff are very helpful, but the structure is a bit rough!

Nice meal. Went at lunch - the two different menus were a little confusing. We went for the a l carte 50% off which was good value for money. Nice food. Nothing fancy but you get what you pay for. Would probably visit again although have had better elsewhere.

Food comes out very quick and fresh from kitchen, not sure during busy times. Service is also great. Reason I scored 3 is the price. They cant accommodate mixed orders for a table which mean my daughter has to have eat all you can menu. For 3 of us with drinks no dessert, it came up to around just over £70.

If you love sushi this is the place to eat it! Fresh and delicious, never had a bad meal. Happy staff and nice decore. We had the buffet and it was amazing. Located in the centre of Nottingham (you can park in the multistory car parks or get in by busyou can order on the app and then it only takes a few minutes to cook and is delivered to your table. They have a lift, no onsight parking. Some vegetarian options in each section of the menu.

Their sushi was OK. However, the meat was really small; the sushi had a lot of rice. Also they impose a 15 minute wait timer and item limit. This applies per table. In addition, their app isnt the greatest in the world. It forces you to place an order though one phone.

Favourite place for sushi and sashimi in Nottingham. Great value when on the lunchtime half price menu and on the all you can eat. Everything is made to order, even in the app you can eat. The salmon sashimi is delicious and a firm favourite. The ordering is done using an app which can be a bit challenging at times. The tasty food and good value makes this a firm favourite and we visit several times a year.

Enjoyed the food. Been quite a few times before and the food is consistent. The service was a little slow this time. I counted 12 staff (7 in the kitchenand 24 customers? How they managed to be so slow with 1 staff per 2 customers? There were probably more staff I could not see. They only did 3-4 takeout orders during this time. Sack half the staff and lower your prices. Win win 👍

Went this evening and the staff were absolutely lovely. Even with some very difficult customers, they handled it with grace whilst being able to attend to everyone else around. Angel and Mai made the experience absolutely enjoyable, cant wait for our next visit.

It’s alright and you get a lot of food for the price. All the kids that work there are really sweet and fast with service but everything falls apart when you pick it up. The rice just doesn’t stick the way it should. The chicken katsu is absolutely tasteless and the tempura which is my favourite Japanese snack is soggy every time.

I LOVE sushimania. Its very different to everyones other favourite sushi restaurant, a more typical restaurant with no conveyors. The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly, they are generally quite quiet and dont talk much but very attentive so no complaints there. They do an all you can eat option and an a la carte menu and they often have different offers on each shop its worth checking the website before visiting.Highly recommended.2022 update - This is still one of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham, the quality of food here is always excellent, the staff are very attentive. I have spoken with Cece a few times, she is extremely friendly and clearly works hard to make sure the restaurant is up to scratch.A must-visit for all sushi lovers.

This was the first sushi mania I have been to, the four of my friends, five including myself had no signal and/or data at all. So we asked a staff if we could have the wifi password so she said yes and it was given to us. All of us were trying to connect to the wifi and while talking amongst ourselves the staff was going on about how we need to order as soon as and our time limit has already started even if we cant order yet due to wifi connection; She told us if we could use just one phone for everyone. We were trying to connect but none of us can, we were rushed. So we tried to get the attention of the staff, again.. a man came to attend to us and he was kind enough to let us order on a piece of paper instead (we didnt know this was an optionthat waitress couldve given us that option other than insisting that we try to connect on wifi and order as soon as). As we were trying to came to conclusion what to order, we were obviously speaking in our own language (tagalog). Another woman came to get our order in a very rude way and with a stinking attitude without saying anything and man told that our order is being processed.. a few minutes later the manager on shift came to us and we were asked to leave as “apparently” we made a comment to one of the staff “f**** chinese” who were serving us. We were all shocked and appalled by this, not only we were embarrassed as we have been asked to leave the premises without hearing our side of story as the staff is now “too upset”to work, but shes taking the order of other table the manager said that she’s gonna take her staffs side because no way her staff would lie to her. we asked the manager if we could speak to whoever reported that as we are not aware of what had happened, we were told that they have a zero tolerance of any abuse towards their staff which we understand. We were in complete disbelief, as first we are all asians ourselves, I, myself, is working as a HR Manager in a care home - no way in my lifetime would I display any type of childish/racist behaviour towards anyone. I would like to point out that they were all making sneaky comments as were leaving the place and at one point I saw the staff we “apparently abused” high fiving the other woman who took our order ever so rudely. And you can hear on their walkie talkie that they were talking about us.For someone who loves to eat out on a regular basis with a large group of friends and family, this is the first time I have experienced this and I have no words for how terrible the manager is and how unprofessional they all are. After leaving the restaurant, I had a looked at their reviews in trip advisor and was not surprise by the fact what is written on their reviews. Mostly bad.

The food was not too bad for the price. It was only the managers attitude dealing a favour that we asked if we could sit together or if we can exchange the table so that we can sit with each other as we can have a short bonding with our family during that time. The way HE said that if we are not happy we can live the place! Be professional even in a busiest situation coz at the end of the day we are the costumer that paying you to work there. Try to be courteous . You are not gonna be the asset of the business instead you are making it worst.By the way,, we are only 8 people that paid nearly £100 including the bad service charge of the manager!

For a group of people who like Japanese food - a fantastic night out.Higher quality dining than something like Yo Sushi, so perfect for date night or a night out with some friends. We got the all-you-can-eat where you get brought more food every 20 minutes or so. Absolutely great social dining experience, couldnt recommend enough.

Waited 45 minutes to be seated only to find out my name had been crossed off the waiting list and other groups were just walking in and being seated straight away whilst we were patiently waiting. After waiting another 30 minutes from that point to us being seated and receiving our food, I then found a chunk of plastic in my rice which I pointed out to a Team Member but no manager came to even acknowledge it or apologise for our experience.

Came here mid week, the atmosphere is great and were shown how to order off the all you can eat menu (£20.80)The app needs work which is my only gripe as we had log in issues, the food was great and you could order 6 plates at a time which came out very quickly, highly recommend the teriyaki salmon

Been there few times now, always encouraged by the good deals they offer and just the fact that I love sushi, but it’s definitely not worth it. You’d be better off paying a little bit more and be sure that you will receive satisfactory food and service. Here, the service is awful, waiters don’t have much to say, not very informative nor helpful, food is very meh and underwhelming - I guess the price makes sense here. The food arrives in different times and you always end up waiting for a crazy amount of time for one (if you’re luckyor more of the dishes. Gave it a fair amount of chances at different types of the day. Always came out disappointed 🫡

Confusing process to order. Luckily we had an expert with us. The request for another chair almost caused a diplomatic incident. The answer for something so trivial is "yes of course" not "I will ask the manager". Not "I will go and see". Its just simply, "yes".....Very pleased otherwise. My first visit. Nice well prepared food. Pretty good value if youre hungry.

Please tell me it’s only me , i found this place way way way below my expectation. I thought a 4 star is good and for ~20£pp all you can eat sushi buffet should be good. I already expected the sushi would be below average BUT this really really disappoint me. I had never been to an all you can eat and afraid of placing an order. The coke was expected to be flat flat. the sushi rice was like cooked from last night it’s hard and tasteless. I felt really bad where it’s a waste of food. But I can’t even put any more in my mouth. The beef teriyaki was ok just like the takeaway beef slices. The most” orderable” item was the miso Aubergine the salmon sashimi in first round was bad but 2nd round was betterThe oyster tempura was edible but 1 out of 6 was cold ?????? I don’t know is it because it’s left over from others..???I even read the reviews after ordering the second round and 1 of the comments was” the best sushi ever” 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 sorry to say this guy must be very very new to the sushi world. Not recommend by me could spend 45 pound for 2 elsewhere and got similar quantity of food and better quality. Would love to give a 2 star but for the quality of food ,service received and price I will give it a 1. ( don’t get me wrong i don’t find it expensive, it’s not cheap eat too but I just don’t think it worth trying. )

The food is excellent and the all you can eat option is reasonably priced. You can order up to 6 hot and 6 cold items every 15 minutes over an hour and a half (dessert and drinks extra). There is plenty of space in the restaurant and it has a lovely social vibe. The method of ordering food through an app and connecting to the restaurant is a bit convoluted, especially when you cant pay by the app.

The all you can eat is a great aspect of this restaurant, there is a wide selection of food to choose from which should keep everyone happy. You get charged for the left over food you cant manage to eat which makes sense. The food is brought out gradually and is meant to be shared, especially if youre choosing from the all you can eat menu. I cant give 5 stars because Ive had better Japanese food locally and the service could be slightly improved although the staff are polite.

Today we went around 6pm (Sundayit was very quiet. Last year we came on a Monday and was super packed and we were not impressed with almost everything but this time it was way way better... lucky we made a good decision tonight to give it a second chance.Food came out a lot faster and the quality a lot better... but we think the all you can eat menu is not that much to choose from but I guess £17.99+10% is quite good.We will defiantly come again and try the al-la-cart next time.

Salmon was huge but Not the freshest, in my opinion. Order at own risk. But buffet was a wide spread. Delivery speed was alright as well. This Asian male staff has really terrible attitude, and temper but he tried his best to tone it down. And its really not necessary to assume a customers country of origin, it doesnt make you more superior in any way.

Ive eaten here seven or eight times and the food is great, and incredibly good value if you come at lunchtime when pretty much the whole menu is half price. As an example, that means you can get six freshly made maki rolls for £1.50! The menu is huge, with loads of sushi, noodles, ramen, tempura and plenty of other bits. Fantastic choice for vegetarians too.Now for the downside: nearly every time Ive come here, whether its busy or quiet, the service tends to be quite bad. The staff are very skilled at avoiding eye contact and fussing around with napkins on an empty table when theres plenty of people waiting to be seated or trying to get their attention. I visited today and all our food came out quickly, but a few other times weve been waiting for a dish for ages, and twice now our orders have been mixed up with another tables. Staff are not attentive and youll have to work hard to get their attention if you want anything.Id recommend it here as the food is delicious and great value, just be aware that the service is hit and miss.

Great staff, they are so nice. And the food was good as well. My girlfriend loves sushi, and she would def go back, and I had more of the hot dishes which was also good. We got the all you can eat menu for under £18, great value. I reccomend only ordering a few at a time as the portions can be quite big. One negative the bottle beer is a bit pricey. But we would definitely go back.

Fantastic value and service! Visited with a group of 14 for the all you can eat sushi - its amazing that everything is made fresh to order. Not at all buffet-style, the quality of the food is better than chains like Yo Sushi and miles ahead of what I expected for the price. The staff were great and explained new dishes, recommended more to try.A must-visit in Nottingham! I hear they also do 50% off at lunch so will definitely revisit.
