Lately their to go orders of sushi have become extremely skimpy. Seems like less and less sushi per order but yet prices have risen, which I get because economy etc. But I don’t understand the skimpy part. Less sides per roll and very poorly put together. Very disappointing to pay so much for so little.

The staff were very friendly and the food was very quick to arrive at our table. The Combo Tempura was good. A nice assortment of vegetables. I was surprised to see a piece of a red pepper in there. The Chicken Katsu was good as well - crispy and a good portion. The Curry Udon was not good. The curry was not seasoned at all and had no flavor which made the dish unappetizing. I mixed in some soy sauce, but it didnt improve it much. I still ate it though. The noodles were good and had a nice texture. There was hardly any beef in there. I had expected shaved beef, but got small tidbits of beef.

I had heard of this restaurant for many, many years before I ultimately settled on trying it on Thursday August 26th. Like I have said in past review specifically of sushi restaurants, I have been opening my palate.Immediately upon entering I could appreciate the cleanliness and how neat the tables were setup. Tables for two, four and giant tables. Keep in mind however this restaurant is not huge. It is rather pretty small. It was sufficient enough but due to COVID some tables werent available. Now, onto the menu. I was starving so I had to get some big rolls. I knew the Tiger Roll had to be tested for quality and one specialty roll. It took me a while but I settled onto the Godzilla Roll. I was definitely a little nervous on the specialty roll but sushi chefs excel not only in presentation but also in making sure the customer itself is satisfied.I ordered no imitation crab on both my rolls. Other than that I kept everything else the same. The first batch of sushi came with the crab but the waitress noticed as she walked to my table. I appreciate her attention to that detail and saved me from needing a emergency room visit. When the sushi came through without the crab, I was astonished. That Godzilla Roll deserves every bit of its name; that tempura was sticking out on the first piece like Godzillas back. Drizzled with beautiful colored sauces and slices aligned, stacked so neatly onto the plate. This roll gets a 10 in presentation, taste, delicacy and every darn element. A tad spicy but I did enjoy that.So I tried the Tiger Roll and it was not much spefial. Definetely a 8.5 as it is not as fancy as other tiger rolls but it didnt dissapoint. Not much ontop gave it that basic most people would enjoy. I wouldve loved avocado and shrimp ontop but hey, its not my recipe. I appreciate how you guys kept it basic. Now, I can finish two rolls of sushi most of the time but this was an exception. That Godzilla roll had me on the edge all the time as I tried to finish the last 4 pieces. I decided to take them home. The crunch of that entire roll was soooo tasty and for some reason the avocado did not taste funny after being fried, it kept its freshness. That detail made me so impressed, a feat not achieved by every sushi shop.At last, their wasabi consistency is very soft and I had never seen that before. Usually wasabi is a bit flaky but not Moris and I enjoyed that. I could be far more precise in adding wasabi and not killing my tongue.I will be back, I promise. I enjoyed the Godzilla roll far too much.Update on May 27th 2022, the food is still amazing! So is the service!

My wife and I tried the lava and tiger roll, and tempura veggies, similar to what Ive had at many other sushi restaurants. I tried each but ended up throwing it out, did not taste fresh or good.

Waited 35 minutes for 3 sushi rolls, they were not that busy. Sushi rolls were not well constructed and fell apart at the slightest touch, chicken was dry and overcooked. I also received a clearly unwashed fork seeing has how it had left over food crusted onto it. Overall not a good experience, mediocre food at best. If you want authentic delicious sushi go to aki sushi.

Good food, but terrible service. After a ridiculous wait, the waitress admitted she had forgotten to put in our order. No apology and she didnt expedite our order so it took more than an hour to get edamame and more than 90 minutes to get our full order. The table next to us, which arrived after we ordered, got their food before us.

New guy delivered some of our order to the next table, but our waitress made it right. Sushi was delicious, and we love the miso soup here. Four stars due to mix-up, but otherwise great.

Sushi Mori used to be such a wonderful place when Bare and Jason used to own it. It has severely gone down hill since the new owner has taken over. The food went from wonderfully delicious to sub-par, and thats after it takes about 30-45 minutes to get out to you. The waitstaff consisting of Brittany, Shelby, and Hannah all do their jobs wonderfully and treat every customer like family, so thats a huge bonus. But since Sushi Mori has gone under new management, its hard seeing the waitresses scramble around as the kitchen and the new owner are constantly making mistakes. So if youre looking for a quick dine in, dont come here but if youre looking for a place where the servers treat you wonderfully then definitely come here. I over heard the owner basically laughing at the servers over a mistake she had made. Definitely unprofessional.

All three of us got food poisoning after eating from here. We got some food for take out, chicken katsu, Seattle roll and dragon roll. The dragon roll was supposed to have eel but it was filled with cucumber and barely had any eel. And both the rolls tasted stale and not fresh at all. We eat a lot of sushi and this is by far the worst ever. Smallest portion too. About 2 hours later, me and my boyfriend and our 3 year old son all had bad stomach cramps and diarrhea within the same time frame. We didn’t have any food aside from homemade pancakes prior to that. Needless to say it was the food there. Could have trusted my gut feeling and skipped the food. To add on top of that. The service was very sub par as well. I ordered over the phone and when I got there and said my name. Without even looking at me the cashier just said a number. I was like what was that? She said the number again. Not a single greeting, not a full sentence like “that would be 37 dollars” or anything like that. And I was one of the 2 customers there. Not like they’re busy, which I can understand. Anyways. I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I’m compelled to do it to save other people some time and from potential misery.

SUSHI MORI HAS NEW OWNERS! Service was terrible, the server (never seen her beforewas apathetic and rude. After waiting at least 20 minutes for our drinks, I got up to get the water myself and she said she was going to get them in a few minutes. The miso showed up during our entre instead of before like normal. They were not as busy as Ive seen them and Ive never had these sort of problems before. We were there celebrating so we ordered a dragon roll to share. We had to ask twice if it was still coming and the server was very snippy with us and other customers. It showed up after we were done with our meal but we werent in a hurry so we wanted to enjoy it. The eel was ROTTEN! We immediately went to the counter to ask to have it removed from our check and to inform them. The server took the roll to the back and came back to us after a few minutes and said "the new owner doesnt speak English very well so she doesnt want to talk to you". We paid our bill and left very sad because sushi mori was our go to place for sushi. We will never return.Ive tried many other sushi places and none can ever come close to sushi mori! Hands down the best Ive ever had!

The food is always so good! And the beautiful girl with the gorgeous eyes is always so so sweet, she even recommended me a great sci-fi book. Only thing is that’s it’s so hot in there, I felt so bad for the workers. I couldn’t eat my food in there and had to box it up to go. Please turn up the AC!

Delicious sushi and superb customer service. Our family stopped here on a road trip and our service was so kind with our young kids. Our five year old colored a photo and the server took her to where she hung it. It made my kid’s day! Quality customer service really does take the experience above the rest. Thank you! Well stop next time we’re in town. :)

Came in to dine, 4/11/21I asked if I can be seated, the red hair girl was rude at the beginning. After the cleaned a table I sat down and waited for them to ask me for my drink and my order. 2 minutes later, a couple walked in and they sat them down, took their drink orders, and their food order. She acted like I wasn’t there. Sushi mori was my favorite but after this incident I will not be coming here. I received the worst service ever!

Always delicious. My favorite ones are Paradise and Golden California rolls but all others I’ve tried were also great. Would love to get a little more ginger and wasabi though with every roll. Also Bentos are delicious here. Seriously I liked everything I’ve tried so far. If you haven’t been here yet, go try it, you might find a new favorite sushi spot.

Food was amazing. Perfectly cooked rice thats easy to eat with chop sticks. Beef yajisoba was great! Not over cooked beef. Cut thin. Double dragon roll was also awesome. A little on the light side for the eel portions that Im used to in dragon rolls. Was in town for work and was really surprised to find a great place for sushi. I moved from Alaska and have had a hard time to find places that made me want to return. This definitely will be a place I eat at again!

Cute little place, waitress was super nice. Not a fancy restaurant, casual dining, played music that was cool. We got sushi rolls, I do have my super favorite sushi restaurant, however, if I were in the area, this would be good. My daughter got the chicken teriyaki, yes it came in a boat, so fun. Salad, rice, chicken were very delicious. I got the Geisha roll because I love cream cheese, someone else recommended it in their review, it was good in flavor& texture. The wasabi was super hot, just like I like it. My other daughter got the Fuji roll, she likes a lot of different fish in her sushi, she liked the flavor of sauces& textures. They have pics on the wall so you know just what you are ordering. We also got the vegetable tempura, came with enough for 3-4 people & the portion was good sized. Dipping sauce is perfect.

I like Miso soup is good.. I have chicken teriyaki it’s ok it’s not good as the place I go to. I probably will not come back in this place because service is poor. The manager who drop my food is rude. She’s wearing eye glasses gray sweater . I don’t appreciates the way she dropped my food on the table.. she didn’t ask if I need something else because she’s on the phone. Server ignores everyone didn’t ask how’s everything or if needed anything. will be the first and my last.

My wife and I both love sushi. We have lived in many places across the United States and tried many different sushi restaurants. Today for lunch we were both very impressed with the excellent food provided at sushi Mori. We had the privilege of meeting the owner and experienced exceptional service by the staff. If I could give six stars I would. The food presentation was excellent as well as the flavor. We had miso soup, edamame , Tiger roll, rainbow roll, New Mexico roll, geisha role, and California roll. My personal favorite was the geisha roll but they were all excellent. This is easily the best sushi restaurant in all of the Tri-Cities. He must try for any real foodie.

Sushi Morning has been my choice for sushi for as far back as I can remember. Their sushi choices are vast (my favorite being the Cali Crunch, its deep fried amazingnessand they also have bento plate options for those who arent sushi fans (didnt know those were still around 🤔). For those who do not like or cannot have seaweed, they will make your roll (any rollwith soy paper (this is really what sets them apart). Many places will not substitute, Sushi Mori wants you to have it your way. My cousin moved to the Tri-Cities from the San Francisco Bay Area and was missing some of her favorite rolls. Sushi Mori gladly made them for her with no fuss. Amazing food and exceptional service.

Its okay, I had the spicy tuna and to be honest it was probably less than mediocre. The fish tasted a bit off, un-flavorful (especially for tunaand this probably has more to do with just that current supply. I gave it 3 stars because I thought the service was helpful and speedy, considering that it was a busy time this went a long way for them. I will try it out again, try something else out on the menu but if you are looking for great tasting sushi you may have better luck going somewhere else.
