This sushi is good. Without too much sauce. I like a wholesome sushi, classic really and this place is close. Its really a small place. Not a lot of seating and certainly not fine dining but you can see into the kitchen and prep areas and they looked alright. Parking and wheelchair access. Bathroom available for customers.

Possibly the best sushi in town. Ive been to many sushi restaurants around the country, one of the best I tried. Highly Recommended.

Take out only. Also, Ramen looks like those instant noodles you buy at Walmart. The meat are those very tiny meat you see on cup noodles where you just add hot water. To be fair, it tastes good though, I only wish i could know what brand it is so I can buy it myself from Walmart. Customer Service is excellent.

Made fresh to order. Never had a bad experience with the food. Prices are comparable with similar style restaurants. Right now due to COVID-19 there is take out only.

Sushi Hiro will impress any true sushi lover and will definitely revisit. Worth every penny and you wont find better local sushi! The food is so fresh and the service is fast and friendly.

All good things come to an end. Up until recently this place was good quality and reasonably priced. I just paid close to $19 for a sushi roll there, im still starved to say the least

It is a small place but the food is amazing. Such great service! I eat here all the time and also get take out a lot. The man that owns it is so kind. The sushi is my favorite in town and I have ate at all of the others!

This is the best sushi Ive had since moving away from Vancouver. Fresh, good portions, fair prices, delicious. Definitely a small restaurant (can really only fit 10 customers), but excellent sushi all the same.

Very clean environment with nice sushi, best to take out as it is a small place. Would recommend to anyone on a good sushi hunt.

Tasting It was awesome, friendly worker

When we walked in, we saw 3 tables and the kitchen. This restaurant is quite small. Food-wise.. Worst ramen I have ever had. I dont even know if its actual ramen because it absolutely did not look nor taste like it. Only ingredients were slices of onions, carrots, and the smallest mushroom. I ordered some chicken karaage to hopefully complement the soup. It wasnt fried properly that you can taste the sticky batter. Husband ordered sushi rolls and the rice was not the best either. Disappointing service, disappointing food. Not recommended.

Sushi was fantastic, nice and fresh tasting. Could be a little expensive if you have a big appetite but I highly recommend you try it.

Very small place! The sushi was good but a friend and I ordered the sampler platter and when we asked which rolls were which the guy serving us didnt really seem to know, we just wanted to figure out which were the ones we liked best so as to get those next time 😑

Frequently order takeout from here. Best sushi in Medicine Hat, and affordable. Never had any issues with quality or freshness, always tastes great. Customers will not be disappointed.

This is a very cute little place to eat. The staff was very friendly and the sushi was delicious! I was personally a big fan of their salmon sashimi and salmon nigiri. I would definitely recommend trying out the sushi here but if you are looking to seat a large group I would suggest ordering for takeout as there isnt too much room for a lot of people. I loved this place and will be back again!

Tiny little place, but the food is fantastic.

So so. Descriptions are not true to form. Ordered the "summer time roll" and it had cream cheese in it (not listed). Ordered dynamite roll, had crab in it (not listed). Overall, not terrible but not what I wanted.

good sushi, decent price

Ordered a bowl of ramen and it was instant noodles that you get from the grocery store. I wouldnt be so concerned if it werent for the fact that I was charged over $5 for essentially a product that costed $2 or less. Tempura shrimp was the wrong batter, and the shrimp was sour. When it was brought to the attention of the server, response was just a shrugged shoulder.

Stopped in to give it a try. Was impressed with how quickly they completed my order and the Sushi was excellent. Will definitely frequent Sushi Hiro for my Sushi.

Not what I was expecting...disapointed. Ordered smoked salmon avocado to go and when I opened at home it was cooked, fried kinda smoked salmon with jelly skin, yuck. I hope they will do a better job next time, if there will be a next time for me 😊
