Sushi Excelencia (Korean/Japanese Restaurant) - Sushi restaurant in Managua, Nicaragua
Great food and great menu. Pricey but well worth the time spend with friends.
My favorite restaurant in Nicaragua.Authentic Korean food. Unique experience in Nicaragua.
Needed a quick sushi fix. The verdict says 6 out of 10.
Under average sushi and a bit pricey for what It is. Not coming back. Rice was way too sticky and the unagi roll did not taste it as expected, very simple unflavored. It got worst: they charged 20 dollars for the unagi when was 10. I had to show them the menu and the price for they to correct.!
excellent place to eat sushi, the attention of the fully qualified staff, I would return without a doubt.
Amazing sushi good quality and the sushi boat is packed with sushi rolls, the seaweed salad was amazing too!
Too expensive and Quality mmmm Ok!!!
Mediocre food. When we asked for the items that were missing from our order, the manager said that I was wrong and wouldn’t work to resolve the problem. This restaurant lost our business.
Service was great and the sushi was excellent
🙌
The only place in Nicaragua that makes a great tuna roll. Trippy decorations too
Well, sushi were nice, not great but nice. Both cocktails were awful.
Home style korean food. A bit expensive. But overall pretty good
Really fresh food a clean place.
It is not the cheapest restaurant for Asian food but it has a great service and quality. Location is good too.
A good option to have sushi and other Asian food in Managua. They also sell different items like food and drinks form Japan, Korea or China that you cant otherwise find in a normal supermarket. Service can be slow especially if you go during lunch or dinner but staff are always friendly.
Delicious plates! Good service.
mmm little bit of attention... more !!!
Good sushi + casual look and feel
Food was very good and the presentation was appealing. Prices are far for the quantity and quality! I highly recommend this place.
We had the terriyaki which is supposed to have a light and crispy batter. Instead it had the constituency of reinforced concrete, and rather than be lightly fried seemed to have been immersed in engine oil for an hour. And it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive. Overpriced as well.
- Food was good, but it took too long.- We wanted to pay individually, or break our group into smaller groups to make it easier to split the check, but they did not let us do it. They said they could only do 1 check for the whole group. And it also took ages to get that ready.- They make you pay the tip (it is not voluntary)
Best fresh Sushi.. Great prices and Good atmosphere
Excellent restaurant, authentic, great ambience. It is not, by any means, just a sushi place. They have great Korean dishes for those who want to try something new. Everything on the menu looks delicious and I have not been disappointed yet. Their service is excellent if not the best. Waiters are friendly, always ready and make good suggestions if you cannot decide on what to try. Prices are within expected ranges, but they are totally worth it.
Great food with awesome quality
I dont want to rate it because its not fair to compare it with a different place, just not place for sushi
Food really good but prices are a little bit pricey
Is ok. Prices are accessible food is very diverse
Absolutely excellent decor ,ambiance , enormous variety of food to choose from, not to mention very delicious. Great hospitality
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, great place to eat Sushi and Sashimi. Prices are fair. Same prices you would find in the U.S. for sushi. The sushi boat is a great choice for 3-4 people. Great service.
I used to love this place, but today the food wasnt so great and it was really pricy.
Expensive for average sushi. Great service, butnNot really worth your dollars....
Awesome menu and really good rolls to share with family and friends!
Delicious- best sushi and great sake
Ive gone to many sushi restaurants in Managua, and, let me be honest, the food is way better in terms of quality and price. The service is great and fast. I totally recommend it!
Great sushi place! I have had sushi here several times and it is always good! I recommend the sushi boat for a great variety of good sushi!
I love it here, it has great Korean food and th prices are affordable.
I had a bad experience few months ago I was walking to take a taxi and one of their workers talk to me and start to say sexual things , street harassment is something serious and you should talk to workers about it.The food is meh, not that good as I expect, we ask for shrimps in a specific way and they give fries shrimps and my sushi came late literally everyone was eating an me no
Quick and good. Restaurant layout is a bit weird
Best sushi restaurant in Nicaragua.
Great food, loved the music and fact you get to hear your companion and prices are affordable.
Waiters with attitude, menu not as good and doesnt compensate for the price. Service took for ever.
This place had the most rude waiter who has incompetent and also spiteful. Even reluctant to giving me the drunk I requested. The food is too expensive for it to be only of "average" taste. Dont be misled, a higher price doesnt necessarily equate to higher quality food. Especially in this restaurant. My margarita had 0% alcohol in it. Most of the people at my table didnt have any alcohol in their mixed drinks either. Terrible service and terrible place.
I was not expecting to find such a good sushi restaurant in Nicaragua. The food and service is great.
The everyone can enjoy delicious food. Adults, children, lovers, etc., all of Nicaragua people enjoys oriental culture, especially Koran Food.It is more delicious than Korea.
This is a traditional Korean restaurant. This restaurant offer lots of Korean food. Especially different type of noodles such as chajangmeon, noodle mixed with mashed bean, noodle soup with shell and vegetables.
Ive been a customer for nearly 7 years and honestly is the best place to have sushi in Nicaragua. The owners are great people and the services is top of the line. Budget friendly and great service, what else can you ask for ?
WARNING: my review is very critical and biased as a Korean. If you are not Korean food or Japanese sushi expert or you arent picky like me, you would love the restaurant as they provided decent quality of food and good experience of Korean/Japanese cuisine. I am very grateful that Korean cuisine is spreading more widely therefore I decided to try this Korean restaurant in Managua due to everyones excellent reviews. The place has a good ambience and friendly staff. The price of the food was very reasonable as well. We were very pleased that they had my fav Korean rice wine. However, as a advocate Korean food lover and as a Korean my kimchi stew was very mediocre. It said that it had pork but couldnt see any and when asked they told me they are very very tiny; Kimchi stew should have big pieces of pork meat. I couldnt even taste any meat broth in the stew. My boyfriends Bibimbab was satisfying, according to him. Although we requested it to be w/o meat since he is a vegetarian, it came with meat and was made correctly later. The sushi rice was too mushy and you have to ask for wasabi separately which was interesting that it didnt come with it already. Also my kimchi roll didnt come with enough kimchi in the roll for me to even taste enough of it.Either way, this is a good place for you to go enjoy the concept of sushi and tap your feet into what Korean food is.
Even though we ordered in advance my sushi roll (the simplest onewas late. I believe its a bit pricey for a yet-to-improve service and taste.
Great time for family fun. Authentic Korean food, meals served with ritual sequence, oriented to the refined tastes of the epicurean palate. I cant recommended this book placed for anyone who wants to enjoy the experience in groups of two or more. Never uncomfortably busy, always courteous service and an excellent price.
