Disappointed by the choice on in the plates.

Not bad but not well set up, the service could use an upgrade as well. The sushi was very fresh and tasty, ultimately thats what we all look for. The rest is dressing so with a little work this could be better.

Best sushi in town, if you can get any. The place is seriously flawed design wise. If you are placed at certain seats you will never get sushi, only frozen mozzarela sticks and other deepfried non sushi items.I used to recomend this place to people but will not do that any longer, unless unless they change the belt and how it opperates.

I wouldnt call this a sushi place since there are more Mellon or orange slices here then actually sushi and when you get a plate of sushi it looks like this

Bad salmon, overpriced 495 isk per dish. Asked for specific rolls when we came and those dishes never came. Do not recommend. Underquilafied chefs if you can even call them that. When I complained I was told they only had two in the kitchen.

Very disappointing. The fish wasn’t fresh and the sushi rice wasn’t made correctly. You pay too much for what you get, and in the end you still have to bring your own plates to the counter.

The lunch offer is an absolute steal. Of course its on the cheaper end of sushi so dont come with the highest expectations, but Ive never not enjoyed the sushi there. Also offers fruit, cake, and other side dishes. As a vegetarian its always been easy to just ask at the counter to have some extra made, and theyre marked with green plates for easy finding. Always on my to do list when I pop by Akureyri!

I was looking forwards to eating some sushi and was very disappointed. The portions were small and the sushi rice did not appear to be made right. Would not recommend 😔

The sushi was fine...? The service was not that good. I needed to go to the counter to get service, the price wasnt available unless you went there. 2190kr for 6 plates of this tiny portion sushi is wayyy overpriced. Also, 1490kr for a glass of white wine is something I wont be doing again. 3680kr for this meal is not worth it.

Decent sushi place. It has a bar where plates of sushi keep rolling around the tables and you grab what you like. For lunch theres fixed price buffet, but for dinner you pay for sets of 6, 8 or 10 plates.The quality of the fish is good. I did not like the lack of variety. Salmon was the only fish they had when I visited in January. Other than that they have dishes of shrimp, crab and vegetarian ones.

Literally the best restaurant I have ever had in the round trip of Iceland, freshly made sushi, sauce’s decent, fried tempura sushi was distinctly delightful, a bit expensive but don’t bother, would come back for this, highly recommended.

We ate way too much. Its so good.

Right next to subway. Very casual. Lunch time during the week, they offer all you can eat buffet at very reasonable price. The dishes are mainly salmon, tuna, and shrimps but occasionally chicken skewers and chocolate cakes. They also have la carte menu as well. Theres a similar but a bit upscale nearby called Rub23 if you are looking for ambiance.

Average at best sushi restaurant. Saving grace was the freshness of the tuna and salmon. Not regular authentic Japanese sushi train joint. Does have an all you can eat buffet for ISK2400 during lunch.

It was okay somehow I thought it would be much fresher. Guess I am spoiled in California

Very nice place, excellent display of food, although I was waiting for having more sushi shrimps but I couldnt get more. Prices like everything in Iceland 😀

Wanted to order vegan sushi and the chef offered to make something other than from the menu and it turned out amazing.

Sushi train and take away trays. Good sushi. Fast service.
