Overall good, but felt expensive for the price they charge. Quantity was fine, but for that kind of money, would expect better taste / texture. Staff is very polite and nice. Service was good. Had the experience (6 course meal), which was 40€ pp. Details:- 1st course / spinach & yuzu - ok, not great- 2nd course / sashimi - salmon was good, tuna was ok-3rd course / miso soup - really good- 4th course / cooked fish - the best- 5th course / sushi - ok to good- 6th course / mochi ice cream - good

I was there with someone else during lunch time on the weekend and the place was not full, so we could easily grap a table to sit. The atmosphere and interior is quite nice, they even have a terrace, where you can sit outside. The menu shows some variations of food, but in regards to sushi it is restricted to salmon, tuna, smoked eel, and vegetarian ones like with avocado. The reason might be on the missing availability of good and fresh quality of other fish. We ordered salmon sashimi, edamame, brown rice, miso soup, temaki as well as some nigiri sushi. The waiter was nice and honest. Actually, I was disappointed by the amount of tofu, chives and spring onions in the miso soup. There were no spring onions, two tiny pieces of tofu and you could search for the chives and count them by one hand. The brown rice was hard and not well cooked. The edamame was not cooked enough and quite hard. The sashimi, nigiri and temaki were fine. However it took quite a while to get the nigir sushi, which we additionally ordered later.I had a green tea, but it did not taste like it, taste was more like a grain tea, but without any taste, was more waterlike.The presentation of the food was good though, but also pricy, when you really want to get full. You can park nearby in a car park, but it is hard to get a parking slot in front of the restaurant.All in all, not bad, but overrated place and the food is not as great as expected, quite away from Japanese standards.

The sushi was okay. After we asked for the check, they suggested a shot of snaps or sake at our table. We didnt ask for it, but for being polite, we both took one, thinking it was on the house. Apperently, it was 12 euros extra on the check (that was asked earlier!). Felt like a scam.

Cute Japanese restaurant with delicious and fresh sushi. The rice was maybe a bit too over cooked and some rolls feel easily apart but otherwise it was really good and I can recommend it. The price is very fair and not pricey. Service was friendly

Fantastic meal and excellent service. We went for the six-course sushi experience which was delicious and nicely presented.The sushi is prepared in the front of the restaurant and is brought fresh to your table. Would definitely recommend!

A very nice casual sushi place! Very suitable for a quick dinner with a friend. This restaurant differentiate itself from other Japanese restaurants with a good set of appetizers. The appetizers are mainly fried but worth trying. The sushi is just fine with some of the rolls not holding together.The service is very good and very friendly from the moment you step in to the moment you pay.

great food and service!menus are well served for 2 people! Beer are very cold!Make sure you make reservation since the space is relatively small (during the winter, the backyard is closed).I would love if they close it a bit later.... they close to early (around 10 or 9, not sure).

The food was not fresh. The fried stuff tasted like old grease and abandoned dreams.The sushi was covered in corn chips and disgusting mayo.The fish was swimming in bacteria laden juice at the prep area of the "chef".This sushi was so bad that the ghosts of the ancestors of the owners of this restaurant were so disgusted they stopped haunting this place.Anyone who says this is good food needs to be checked for The Rona, because clearly their tastes buds are not working.Shame.

Run by Japanese. Mordenised rice bowl and nice sushi and wonderful service. Will be back again. Good price too. People who complained the price must have never ate at Michelin Star Japanese Restaurant before.

Amazing sushi place in Frankfurt. Great prices and super friendly staff. The Japanese girl really made our experience. I just wish that they have bigger wine and champagne selection or just more alcoholic drinks in general. Can’t wait to be back. My warmest recommendation!

Sushi was nothing out of the ordinary for theOver priced items. We waited 1.5 hrs for our order watching others who came in after us getting their order, the waitress that checked us in for our reservation was very rude, would not recommend this place if English speaking either.If the website didn’t make you give 1 star I would have given none.

If you are English speaking I would not go to this restaurant. We were treated very badly at the initial contact. Waited an hour for part of our food then another 20 minutes for the rest. Very expensive for the amount of food. Regulars seemed to know to order right away. When we asked to order we were told to wait. The food was good when it finally came. Would not waist my time.

They only have 2 types of fish, salmon and tuna. The tuna is mediocre. Size of roll small and in general the food was just not worth what you pay. One of the rolls used something like canned tuna and the ingredients did really come together. Really was not enjoyable to eat.

I was born from an Asian mother (yes with capital A), grew up with Asian values and was brought up to be considerate and respectful towards my community.There was a little bit of chaos today, which is by the way a few days after the restaurant businesses were allowed to open for dine-in in Frankfurt. Nevertheless it didn’t bother me at all as I was happy to witness people’s livelihood, which might have recently suffered, flourishing again.Freedom of speech gives us the the right to write our honest review, nothing against that. But there’s no need to be passive aggressive with the service staff who’s basically just greeting you goodbye, after probably a long day at work. #Karen’s of Frankfurt unite.We can be honest, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be kind as nowadays you don’t know the kind of cross people around us carry.By the way concerning the food, Katy Perry would have been proud. Fireworks!!! Plenty of them!

Amazing sushi spot in Frankfurt. Cosy, nice place, very well decorated. It has a terrace in the back. I went for lunch during summer time and loved the cool AC inside. The best part was the amazing service from the staff. Would definitely come back.

Modern Japanese cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. I wasnt a fan of the tempura, as it didnt have while vegetables and it was slightly overfried, with too thick coating, but presentation and everything else was impeccable and the atmosphere and staff are so lovely they deserve their 5 stars.

Very nice and delicious Japanese restaurant. Sadly havent tried the sushi. We had some of the mains and we didnt get disappointed. I would recommend to call in advance for reservation. Card payment is of course possible as well. And staff working there was of course very nice and helpful as well. Definitely worth a try if you are around.

Quality of products is very good, however, overpriced offer.1Sushi pieces are very small - smaller than average - so you have to order more sets/pieces and in the end you get a large bill - 30/35 euro2Offer of sushi rolls is rather strange - very complicated and unusual combinations, a lot of sauces above the rolls, no offer of classic rolls int he menu. However, you can ask to replace or remove some ingredients3It takes a lot of time to wait for the order and sets come with a significant time gap4Ice mochi are super tasty. However, they serve only a small fork with it - its a bit difficult to cut them to smaller pieces and eat without a special knife.I personally wouldnt go there for sushi again, because there are better offerings in frankfurt for such and even lower pricing. However, for a cup of tea with a dessert can be a good place.

I found this place by chance and decided to try it out with my husband and oh boy, why havent we found it sooner?The staff is super friendly and patient, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and the food looks and tastes absolutely amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the food was served pretty quickly.There were a few tiny mistakes here and there, but the waitresses were charming and polite, so its totally fine.The wagyu shabu and Japanese potato salad are a must try!Thanks for having us, we will definitely come again.

Average sushi tasting sushi, super slow service. Would have liked to order a second round but didn’t want to have to wait for 30 minutes to get it. Only plus, two minute walk from my hotel when I’m exhausted.

Fantastic food, at very reasonable prices. We had the set menu for 2-3 people with some edamame and miso aubergine. Can’t wait to come back!

most import thing for a restaurant has been missed!one ordered menu was missed for a half hour, so that one friend waited and canceled.even more than 10 min. kitchen didnt take care about it, after staff noticed the missed menu.roll tastes ok, but tempura appetizer is quite small dish for your info.

Best creative Japanese cuisine ever!! I didn’t expect such a delicious meal when I was looking at the prices on the menu but wow. It’s authentic, made by Japanese chefs and it tastes amazing. My most favourite Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt now.

I felt odd eating sushi for the first time in Germany, especially in Frankfurt being so far away from the sea, but the Rainbow roll completely changed my opinion. This place makes great sushi as well as other Japanese warm dishes. If you feel like Chinese food they might sometimes serve you from their sister-shop next door.The waitress there is super sweet and might offer you some goodies if you are there when the place is pretty empty. That’s at least my experience the first time I went there.

Comfy atmosphere & great sushi rolls. First time taste the Japanese Whisky & love it 😘 They have big wall of Japanese Whisky, Sake & wine & more.... Warm & friendly staff service. Will come again to try their Dim Sum next door too.
