Charming natural destination featuring cascading waterfalls & pools amid a lush green landscape.
The place was ok. As it was so crowded, couldnt enjoy the falls much. Some of the toilets were really unclean.
Quite a small falls but actually you can enjoy a lot. You can dance, play, make selfies, do vlogs a lot.
Nice scenery with awesome view.Entry fees is must.People who cant walk can hire their bus, own vehicle is not allowed. Can walk till the falls, walkable distance only.Forest view.Dress changing rooms available near the falls.
Suruli falls is beautiful. People from Tamilnadu visited here with their families to enjoy the waterfalls with open air bathing. 😇😂👍.Water is seen only the rainy season. Two kilometer of walking distance. Walking along the forest area.very calm and pleasant. Monkeys are there. One thing to be more careful 😂. If you enjoy the bath in the open air. Your dress is kept carefully. Otherwise monkeys will take off😂😂. They look in your hand there is some packet, they think 🤔 its eatables, so be carefull about your dress😂😂.
Very nice place..opening around 8.00 AM in the morning and closing by 5.00 AM, entry fees around 30 Rs for adults .not so difficult to reach, around 500 meters walk and few steps...water is so fresh, there is changing rooms for mens and womens..there is always security to manage the people..
Nice place, Best water falls in Theni District, lot of wild monkeys and black squirrel here, lot of Grapes cultivation here & Chill Climate
Nice one.You can reach this waterfall from cumbum main town. There are mini bus services available.Or you can catch a bus to surulipatti waterfall and walk directly
2kms walk to reach the falls ....if any battery cars is available by the government its so useful to the visitors...Thats only drawback.
Very bad maintenance, clumsy maintenance in beautiful religious hill station. River near to temple is not good. Visitors also have responsibility to take care of nature. Bhoodha Narayana Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Suruli Malai near Cumbum Town in Uthamapalayam Taluk in Theni District of Tamil Nadu. The Temple is located at about 400 meters from suruli falls, 10 Kms from Cumbum Bus Stand, 19 Kms from Uthamapalayam, 50 Kms from Theni Railway Station.
Small waterfalls but beautiful. Very clean water. Easy access to falls. Kids also can get in to it. Roadside parking possible. If you like this review, please like and comment. Thank you.
2 km walking . 30 person for adult , 20 for. Children , take towels who like bathing, cool water like ice. If u dont like walking the forest department provide a van 20 for two travel thats better for aged people . Better to walk is to enjoy nature beauty .
During weekdays, less crowd and serene falls and the trek is worth it..get some food for monkeys..they are obedient…Falls is good post monsoon….pre-summer..
The place was sooo good. Super Natural amd the water speed was so good for a great bath but cleanliness was extremely disappointed. They are Getting almost 40 rupess for each but even the changing room was so bad. The steps towards falls seems to be slippery nd very nasty.
Good forceful waterfalls but a bit crowded if you go after 11 am. better to reach by 8 am and have a great time without any disturbance. its around 48 kms from Theni. Local hotels available but not much choice. better to take parcels from Theni and have it there after a good bath. You will love it. Separate queues for ladies and gents. beware of lots of monkeys around looking for your bags.. never leave your bags alone when taking bath.
Super cold water, drinkable too.Heavily crowded.Parking gets busy. Need to get tickets for falls and bus ride. If not bus ride, you may need to walk for 1-1.5km atleast, accompanied by monkeys. Not so good changing rooms for men, but women have rooms for changing - not sure if that was neat.Get dressed for going drenched, get smashed by high force water, relax and change... Strictly dont carry soap or shampoo. Dont get influenced by morons who spoil the water with foam and dirty soap washes.Just enjoy the pure water, cleanse soul and body, rejoice and come back with memories
One of the best waterfalls in Theni travel trip. Its near to Kambam and fully maintained by forest department. After a gate there is a km of walk we can reach the waterfalls. Surely it’s very safe for kids and ladies to take pleasant bath and enjoy the waterfall’s. We visited by 2pm on weekday.
Good waterfall but dressing room was not good
Natural falls. 1 to 2 hr drive from theni. Need to walk around 1km from parking. Towel soap shampoo shorts sold in parking. Small hotel facilities available in parking.
Its good place for photo shoots...We can enjoy traveling through forest...Having good water falls... Carry spare dress with you..
We all our family members enjoyed our trip here a lot . Chilly forced water penetrate our body in a clam and lovely way. I have taken bath here for than 2 hours even though I couldn’t feel any tiredness, still I want to tak wonderful bathe over there . I suggest after Kodaikkanal Suruli falls is fantastic spot to enjoy and falls bathing it’s one of the best spot.
A best place to visit family, solo or with friends. But we have to walk 2 to 3 km or we can travel in bus which costs ₹10 per person
Great waterfalls in a scenic Western Ghats nature site.. Clean and pure water.. Must visit when water flow is good during monsoon seasons. Also some walk in the nature from entrance gate to falls.. Abt 2 to 3 km. ( previously bus services were there. Not now)
There is a nominal entry fee and we can either walk or go by the trip bus which is operated internally.. Usually a 20min walk.. Men and women have their area separate in the falls.. There are plenty of changing rooms and the same are well maintained... Last entry is by 4pm and the authorities ask ppl to move out of the falls by 4.30PM, since darkness sets on and its unsafe...
Dream to Visit just Now 1 week Back we Visit there Huge 💦 💦💦💦 Such a Wonderful Greenery there
Opening time of fall is 8 o clkBut we are arrived in 6 o clkJust taking some rest and went to fall ....Most welcomable place frnds must try ...With your family are frnds
Been to several water falls but I would rate this the best.💗Parking is hassle-free.🏍️🚗🚐Dont go in shuttle service by the forest department, walking is great.💪Take necessary things like towel, camera and slippers must. (Try to avoid soaps and shampoos)🐃We reached around 4 PM and had a blissful 1 hour bath. Not so crowded, even if it is, they cant handle the heat of the falls.😎Water therapy at its best.🤗👌
Beautiful location.. Entrance Timing upto 4pm. Improve facilities..
When talking about suruli waterfalls, I would like to speak from the perspective of a Malayalee. Even though the place is very close to Idukki, and it is not as beautiful as the waterfalls in Idukki, but this is a very safe place for anyone to take a dip in the waterfall. There are adequate safety measures in this place, many of the beautiful waterfalls in Kerala do not have this safety. Suruli is a good example of how a tourist destination can attract tourists. Having a separate washroom for women and men is great. Usually there is no washroom in the waterfalls of Kerala. One negative is waste management. There is a lot of plastic that needs to be banned there. People who have difficulty walking can easily board the bus from the suruli checkpoint and get off at the waterfalls.
It is a good place to visit in Cumbum. The water flow was less when we visited. The place is bit far from the gate. We can prefer to travel to the falls by the bus that is available inside. They charge ₹20 for adult and ₹10 for children (to and fro). The entry ticket is ₹30 per adult. Despite many checkings, people still bathe there using soap and shampoo, which is major drawback.Beware of the monkeys there. They try to grab your things. Prefer not to take eatables to this place. There are many grape farms on way to this place which is a must visit! The farms are way too beautiful!
The Famous Water Fall in Theni District...One of Holy Water Fall...Theniyans said Medicine Fall...The Biggest Wild Forest... Forest Animals are There...Best Place For Photography...Ven Facilities are Available to Go through the Fall... Walkable Distance only... Prefer Walk and Explore with Fresh Air😍😍😍...Most Natural Place...Beauty of Theni
Keep up the timings! They close the entries sharply at 4pm and due to security reasons, only till 4.35pm showering in the falls is permitted. A beautiful place with natural landscape to enjoy with family and friends.
Nice Place if u want to spend time with nature🌿🍃 you can go there bcaz u will feel better and relax💆😎 with your friends and families too
Amazing falls for one to experience. The water are so clean n fresh. No proper place to change the dress as this is located inside forest. Its better to visit the place by wearing the dress in which you are planning to take a bath. By the time you come down walking your dresses will dry 😁
Nice falls, less water more people but worth the wait. Park your car and take a short bus ride from the reserve entrance to falls Rs.10 per person. Lots of shops available in the entrance. Leave almost everything in the car and grab only the necessary.Water is fresh and the fall gives a good massage for your body. Gents and ladies are separated which gives more freedom to enjoy the falls. Beware of monkeys, they grab everything from your hand.
The Very Gud Falls But After February month very low Water coming So Pls avoid those months
I visited here in Jan 2020.Nice place to enjoy with friends and family. Located at good dense forest. Be careful with monkeys it will take away your things if you keep anywhere. Bath room needs to be improved for changing the dress after bath. Bus facility is available. Entry fees is rs.20. Evening upto 4.30 allowed.
Its a great place for relaxation cause the water here is breathtaking cool and I ought to say that this place is not what you expect but surely its more than that!If you plan to visit this place then be there before 4.30 cause they close the place at this time the waterfalls is pretty much smaller than I thought but the environment of this place is awesome :)
One of the famous falls in Tamil Nadu. You have to reach Kambam from Madurai Arapalayam bus stand. From Kambam take mini bus or share auto to Suruli. Then you have to walk 2-3 km through the forest to reach the falls. Worth visiting.
"Beautiful scenery" "Excellent Climate"If you want to get away from your normal life, choose this place. We have to walk around for 15-20 minutes from the mail gate to fall, surrounded by greenery and river on both sides. It really worth it.
Waterfall is okay. Nice ambience. You need to walk around 1km from the parking area. There is a bus available and which will take you to the waterfall entry point. 10rs for one side.Entry charge 30rs.Camera charge is 50rs.Car parking charge 20rs.Drive to this place is good 👌Lot of monkeys 🐒 monkeys around there. They will snatch your belongings so keep an eye on that.
Excellent location with good atmosphere we can enjoy a lot in the falls having basic facilities like rest room, bus services etc..Ticket rate for adult 30Rs and for child 20 Rs
Suruli falls is a must visit when you are on vacation in Theni. It is a small falls but climate will be awesome to be here. Its a 1km walk (not exactly a trekto reach from the base station. Entry fees is 30rs and you can avail shuttle for 10rs one way from forest department.Falls water flow purely depend on rain wall in Megamalai mountains. Ideal to visit on Southwest monsoon and after offset.Sanitation can be improved as it a major attraction in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.Bonus, you can get good grapes from farms on the way to Suruli falls on negotiate price.
Beautiful place.. have to walk nearly 1km inside forest then you will reach falls... Government veichle facility available... Everyone should visit this place atleast once in their life time.... Peaceful environment... Very good maintance...
Small and nice water falls in cumbum area. You can enjoy and bath in waterfalls. Entry fee for adult 30 rupees. Then you can walk on location
Best place to take Bath naturally. Good atmosphere and good climate, Nice place to spend time with family and kids. Lot of hotels are there so no problem for food and snacks.
Very little water flowing now. Not much crowd now. One has to walk around 2kms from the entrance to reach the falls. Bathing area is not very clean. Entry fee is Rs 5. Forest department is operating a shuttle service from the entrance to the falls.
For a first time Ive been here. Entry ticket is 5rs/head and falls entry will opens by 7am and close around 4.30.Were a crew of 15 members visited on Saturday morning.water level was medium and the sight seeing was Good. Also climate is chill. There is a ban for soap, shampoo, cigarettes and Pans but people use still which is really to be condemned.
Theres not much water on the falls.... The place is so crowded... Still Its a Nice place to Visit... The place is fully Surrounded by nature... The Climate around the area is so nice
Suruli Falls is a major tourist attraction. It is about 1km from the main entrance. Steep steps lead to the falls. Not advisable for people with heart ailments. With special permission from the Forest department, one can drive up to the steps leading to the falls. During public holidays the place becomes overcrowded. Parking becomes very difficult. There is an entrance ticket. During peak of summer, if the seasonal rains fail in Kerala, there will be no falls. Only dry rocks to rub against.
Beautiful and refreshing falls ever in Tamil nadu. The falls water is a holi water in blessing of the Lord Shiva and karupasamy temple located below the falls. Many clan of people gives offerings to God there will stay cook and eat. Oil massage done there. Many shop there to have village healthy food. Ample parking space. Lot of monkeys around the falls. Divinely water dont miss it.
