This is a great, uncrowded, simple spot. Beach is lovely, bar nice design right on sand, staff super friendly…. Loved it.

Always a great atmosphere, good food and drinks and a great vie of the beach and sun set each day again. Added bonus: seeing planes coming and going out of Aruba.

Absolutely wonderful! Arrived at 11am. Quiet, peaceful..Loved everything about it. $25 to rent 2 chairs and the umbrella ..OR… It’s included if you have a tab with them for food and drinks. I COULDN’T STOP DRINKING THE FROZEN PEACH MARGARITA..I dream about it to this day. The veggie pizza was so good, crispy crust, fresh, and a lot for one person, but delicious! I read reviews about the planes being noisy…. SO!?.. the beach is by the airport, it’s actually pretty cool to see them so close.. and it’s every 10-15 mins, hardly noticeable after the first 2. There is seaweed here but I wasn’t planning on swimming anyway(Thanks to the margaritas):-Staff was amazing. Every single body was smiling and friendly. I wanted to stay for the sunset (beach became a little busier around 1-2pmbut as all day in the sun, I left short of 5pm. But I definitely recommend TRYING THIS SPOT!

Ok I thought I have had the best fish in the world from Japan to Florida keys. Hands down amazing fish and chips. On top of it all you can watch the planes come in over head to the airport. Swim in the water while you wait for your food. Thank you Aruba Surfside

First time visiting Surfside Beach Bar and Liked it. We ordered the charcuterie board, the Surfside hamberburger and the pizza funghi. I ordered the hamburger with medium doneness and it tasted really good. The frenchfried were really good too, they were crispy and dusted with salt and black pepper. I just wish the charcuterie board ahd some more sweet/vibrant/acidity elements to it like grapes, dill pickles, blueberries or strawberries. The banana smoothie was awesome and the lemon margarita smoothie was really refreshing! Will surely visit this place next time to rry ther oven baked eggs for breakfast.

Very cozy, nice bar to chill. Perfect to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The drinks and food are delicious. I recommend the Spicy Shrimp Platter.

The had dinner here. The food came in nice baskets and was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The view was nice.

Our favourite restaurant in Aruba during two week stay. Staff friendly and professional. Food and drinks great quality and price. Solid service. Do put this on your visit list when in Aruba. I cant recommend enough. Well done and thanks guys. Spicy prawns were fab-u-lous.

If you are here for the beach you can rent a chair and umbrella for $23 USD, if you surpass that in your bill the rental is free. Food surpassed our expectations, staff was very kind and courteous.

I needed 2 look 4 a place that I had some time 2 myself and there it was at the surfside nice music airplanes landing and taking off nice waiters and the pizza was gr8 and I was surved in a record time of 10 minutes an I enjoy the view of the Ocean and breezzzzeee🤣

Had the Dutch Snack Platter. It was worth straying from my go to burger and fries. Staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable vacation prices.

This was our first stop after getting off the plane, while waiting for our hotel. Drinks were delish! Food was great and fresh. View was perfect. All the food was really good - we had appetizers, some had pizza, some had burgers and some had the booming shrimp. Service was a little slow, but we were on island time. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great atmosphere and perfect place for a few drinks and lunch before walking to the airport to head out. Pizza was delicious. Would come back to check out the beach area on our next trip.

A great little bar/pizza place right on the beach. We stopped by for a drink before eating at Barefoot next door and came back another night for drinks and a pizza dinner. Great service

HORRIBLE SERVICE/STAFF IS RUDE & HAUTAINEAfter leaving Baby Beach on Monday Jan 31, we (a group of 5decided to have a late lunch and this beach bar was on our way back home. We came in at 3:40 pm. It took them forever to bring us the lunch menu and I had to get up to ask for it (!!!). Finally at 4:00 pm they took the order for our drinks plus we ordered our food. I asked the waitress for a soda water with lime and of course she forgot the lime. Whereas she came back and literally threw the lime in my glass with the words “Here you go, sweetie!” and all soda was spilled over the table. At 4:40 pm we asked what happened with our order and some excuse like “they forgot about you in the kitchen” came up. At 4:50 pm we finally got our food and it was cold,, where they forgot to bring out two more dishes.The food was general (all food is fried from the chicken with the sate dish to the calamaris: all is fried). Being an owner of several restaurants myself IN THE NETHERLANDS, I know the tricks to keep the customers satisfied but also how to make them wait for food in order to get more money out of the beverages that they will order WHILE waiting for their food.However, an uneducated and self-entitled (rudestaff will run your customers away! This beachbar is in Aruba where the locals are known for their friendly service. Too bad that some Dutch kids work at the surfside beachbar to get some pocket money and ruin a good reputation for others.

Stopped by after doing some exploring in the town. We loved the staff and enjoyed watching the planes land. The food was excellent. The pizza pictured was the meat lovers daily special. The music was great, too! Service was fast and we look forward to coming there again in the very near future!

The surfside beach bar is a great place to grab a drink, coffee, or a cocktail. We ordered their pizza (which server said it’s the best on the islandthat if I can compare it to any other would be an average pie from Pizza Hut. Their fish was just okay while their shawarma fries lacked flavor. The location is great, you can dine on the beach, overlooking planes landing and taking off. There was plenty of parking available and $ were accepted as well as major credit cards.

Its all about the location with this one, but maybe Im just a simple guy (or am I a simple gal?...OMG do I have identity issues?). Anyway I had simple drinks, easy food, and they served me directly on the sand. I wasnt planning to, but stayed for hours, chatting and basking in the setting sun then rising moon. It was so right. Go be right.

I love Surside Beach because its an undiscovered secret gem in Aruba. There is rarely anyone there. How can you not love having the beach to yourself?And I love there is no one trying to sell you loungers or umbrellas.But how can you enjoy an Aruban beach without it own restaurant? Beach restaurants are THE best part of the Aruban dining scene.I have to admit I have never eaten at the Beach Bar. But the drinks and coffee. OMG.The Dutch love their coffee. The Beach Bar is a great place to get a cappuccino or latte. Much better brews at half the Starbucks price.Dont miss the sangria (they serve both red and whiteand the Brazilian Caipirinha.After a hot day on the sand, I love their frozen drinks. I am partial to the mango daiquiri (they also come in strawberry, banana and lime flavorsand the mudslide.The signature cocktail is a beer margarita but that was a step too far for me.The bar has happy hours form noon to one and 5 to 6.I love the location. There are tables under a wooden covering that all face that gorgeous azure blue water. There are picnic tables outside on the sand too too. You dont need shoes!Dont miss the funky hand-painted pillars. Sooo Caribbean!There is rarely a problem with parking (which is always a problem along L.G. Smith Boulevard).

Cheap/yummy food/drinks, easy going staff, and free beach chairs placed only a few feet from the waters edge. Perfect, low-key spot to enjoy the sunset.

Amazing! Dirinks are really good, food is delicious and service friendly. Everything right on the beach. We totally recommend the fish & chips there. Make sure you check the happy hour too. It was from 17 to 18 when we were there.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. I can recommend the Surfside beach platter. Friendly staff. Kids Friendly.

Love this place. This is my go-to hangout when I am in Aruba.Decent prices, free beach chairs and umbrellas for customers, breezy and covered ..Only downside is I miss not having Desperados need 😉 .. back on the menu soon??

Enjoyed our few hours here. Food is limited in selection. But what we ordered was good. Drinks are good. Servers are friendly. The view on the beach and calm waters is absolutely fantastic. Came here and saw sunset. It was absolutely fantastic. So beautiful.

If youre staying at Talk of the Town, you have to visit this beach bar at least once. Youll get the best service sitting at the bar - my husband and I really enjoyed talking with the staff about where theyre from and places to check out on the island.Could not get enough of the Surfside snack platter - the grouper was spectacular.Of all the places we visited along the beaches, Surf Side was the most committed to minimizing plastic due to its harmful effects on the ocean.

Can’t beat the view. Beer and mixed drinks. Fast-food (hamburgers and fries). Seriously though. You can’t beat the view.

Had some beers and one of the biggest, and tastiest burgers I have eaten. Waitress was a lot of fun and chatted with me when she had a few minutes.Prices are in Florian which made the bill a lot less than expected.

Drinks are good and fair priced, especially for a great view on a superb sunset. Nice place to spot landing airplanes.
