I have had several lies told to me about the MID YEAR REVIEW....I was told every six months they would send me a letter to update my case .Then it went from six months to being told well it can be 1 , 4, and 6 months after your review case was approved .to now its every four months .( I feel like theyre hounding me tho I need this help they are making jump through several hurtles just to feed my family)I hate that we dont get to have a primary case worker that you can talk to because dealing with different NAMES, and ATTITUDES Is draining.IVE BEEN YELLED AT, HUNG UP ON , AND I WAS BLATANTLY SHORTED ON THE BACK PAY OF MY FOOD STAMPS BECAUSE THEY TOOK THREE MONTHS TO FINALLY GIVE ME MY FOOD STAMPS BACK JUST FIVE MONTHS AGO AND ONLY GAVE ME 60 DAYS INSTEAD OF 90 .I THINK THAT I SHOULD GET THE NEWS ENVOLVED IM SURE OTHER FAMILIES HAVE GONE THROUGH THE SAME TREATMENT OF DISRESPECT AND NEGLECT. I feel horrible for even needing assistance and theyre not helping me feel any better about being a struggling mother

The people have been nice when I visit in person but they never answer the phone when I call to ask questions. Plus their automated system makes it very difficult to reach a customer representative

There some of the most rudest people in the world working here. If you want to be made to wait all day only to be told to come back tomorrow, if you want to be talked down to and looked down upon, and if you want your case handled by people that do their best to screw everything up for you, then this is the place for you
This place sucks been waiting 3 months for my stamps and Im not getting the 1st month because they didnt send me my papers on time. Called they said I didnt send everything in then a minute later said I did.
Supplemental State nutrition (food stampoffice. Fairly quick service. Great program. Offers WIC as well.
Been calling for 2 days from 9am to 3pm and no one is answering the phone they are a month behind from putting my stamps on my card very unprofessional
Their phoneline is always busy, but whenever I go to the office, the staff are always congregating with one another and paying no attention to the primary tasks of their position. I requested basic information on my benefits, as well as questions to provide for my success; unfortunately, the staff directed me to their website instead. I am exceptionally upset by the failure of our local office to improve the quality of life to those in our community.
I love this building
I would like to give this place less than a one star review. I need to go there frequently because of my job and they treat people so bad, it is amazing these people are hired to help others. In my opinion some of them hate immigrants and people, in general. It ´s very sad many people´s benefits are in their hands
the program is full of flaws , my experience is that they dont give me the help I need, its like they dont care and you have to keep running back and forth to the office and then hope you will get something when your stamps is due and when i call and get someone they will cut you off when you have been waiting for a more than a hour to talk to someone, so you go to the office and wait up to 3 hours to see a worker, when you had your own personal worker and you could call her if anything wasnt right thats when it was working good
They help people who need it.
I waited 4 hours I got there at 11 am but the wait was worth it got what I needed everything is a blessing thanks a lot
i think it is a shame the unproffesional behavior you see in this facility. over 25 to 40 people waiting to be seen with numbers in there hand waiting to be called. one customer service representive talks with another one about clothes they are ordering the other lets four or 5 people be called while she chomps down on chips. never caring about what others might have on there agenda for the remainder of the day. one customer service representive was even visited by someone else who worked there and hadnt seen her in awhile so she carried on a 15 min conversation before seeing the next number. I pulled the number 3 and they were 83 it took 2 hours to be called. several people got up and walked out refusing to waste anymore of there time
Very Very, disappointed. Went to apply for food stamp. I guess I need to look like a bum to relieve assistance. A working citizen who recently was hospitalized, needed a helping hand. I ask for emergency food stamps. Didnt get them. Was told the have a food pantry. Wish I could post a picture. Of the scraps I was given. Plus the food expired. Wow! Really. Really. An honest person and this is what the L & N BUILDING IS GIVING OUT. Im sorry Ive been working had my own and got sick was in ICU dealing with life. My bad I broke down. My bad I had a job and didnt ask the government for anything. And this is the thanks. I wouldnt even give them this 1 star.Well its Tuesday September 27, 2016. Called to inquiry about the food I received. I was on hold for 35 mins until someone picked up. She picks up ask how can I assist u. Then ask for my social. Then hey what do u know. I somehow back on hold. For yet 49 mins for them to say oh u have to go to the office. Im sorry my health condition wont allow me to drive. And then you guys ask me how Im going to pay for thing. Well if I have to continue spending money I dont even have to fix an employees mess up. I dont think Ill be able to. I have to find assistance just to get assistance. I guess I need to come in rags and look homeless to get help. Never mind the fact that Ive worked and continue to work even with my health on the line and you guys want to give me a hard time. Cool. Its ppl out there abusing the system in your face and those are the one being catered to. How amazing.
They need to clean house at the L & N building. If these workers wanted to be bitter and nasty their whole lives they could have worked somewhere else. The government is a joke when it comes to people who really need help at some point. Wish Bevin would fire them all while hes making cuts to everything else. Would give this review negative stars if I could.
Im on hold right now. About 7 minutes ago, it said my wait would be 39 minutes. That is UNREAL. They should have more people to answer phones or something. There are so many people that would take that job so fast. But thats one of the issues with the US government anymore.
Called and was on hold for over an hour waiting "my turn" to speak with a worker and they picked up and hung up on me!! I called back and they were closed!! I would call a few hours b4 they close if i were u! The next day i went down there and a few of us was sent home after waiting hours b/c they closed, they had us fill out a foodstamp application and said they would call us the next day and i never got a phone call!! Seriously???
Terrible
No they wont answer, they want u to come in so u can waste ur time, ur there for 4 to 7 hours every time, and when u do get a worker they dnt return ur calls either! They are supposed to be there to help us but instead we get treated like we are a problem or we are bothering them by having them do thier jobs!

I called 69 times and no answer, dont waste your time.
Call and its disconected and the recording will give you an disconnected number so good luck calling. Its been this way for 6 months that I know. They dont want to call or get through.
