Super 8 by Wyndham Brandon MB in Brandon

Very pleasantly surprised! My previous experience with a Super8 (not this onewas disastrous, so my expectations were low. The only thing wrong with the room was that the carpet was damp in spots - otherwise Ive paid 4x as much for worse rooms elsewhere. Front desk was consistently helpful & friendly. Good location for my needs. Will happily return.

We were here for a baseball tournament. Cleanliness was an issue, the most important variable in a hotel stay. The room was a passable clean, however the pool was quite filthy. Our family loves pools and it was after my daughter kept showing me various clumps/strands of hair and we had placed them on the side that the next day, these strands/clumps were still there. They do not maintain their pool well. The hottub was also closed during our stay. Breakfast had lots of breads with no meat and the exception of cold packaged hard-boiled eggs.

I booked dog friendly room. I like the cleanliness and the professionalism at the front desk. The dog friendly room is separate than common guest area which is extremely helpful for the dogs as they don’t hear too much noise from the other guest. Room is very spacious and two queen beds were neat and very comfortable. I highly recommend this location. Additionally swimming pool was not big but decent size for me to relax after long drive.

Our room was very clean and modern. Access for pet friendly rooms was very convenient. The price was a bit expensive for the room compared to similar in the area, but still reasonable. Outlets were not available in logical places (ex. The coffee maker needed to be moved to an available outlet, nowhere to plug in phones by the bedside table). They are quite sparing with their towels (only two small bath towels for 2 adults and one child staying in the room- easily resolved by a request to reception. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient for those traveling through.

I useded to love this place. We went here last weekend 2 couples and 4 kids. We booked this place for the breakfast and the pool. We got the breakfast, but the pool was closed for because the chemical pump broke. It had been broken for a while and they didnt know when it would reopened, very annoying when that is why to booked the place. I used to stay here often when I came to Brandon but next time I wont since there was no warning we werent going to be able to use something we paid for during our stay. We told the front desk we were not impressed but they said there was nothing they could do. At least the beds were comfortable and the ac/heater was quiet for sleeping.
