Super 8 in Skopje

The rooms are very old and neglected. The toilet flushes very late, there is nowhere to hang the shower head and the taps are moldy. The bed in the room is collapsed, it is very difficult to sleep. And I couldnt find a socket to charge your phone, I charged my phone in the bathroom. The water heater in the room was not working. There are much better hotels at this price, I do not recommend. Only the breakfast of this hotel can be considered good.

+ well situated (near old town)+ parking right next to hotel+ friendly receptionsts+ price- room was dingy and looked not at all like the photos- elevator didnt workIn general a good hotel for a through trip as its quite cheap and well situated. Would not want stay longer then one night as it definitely needs a renovation to look like in the good old days (as the photos would make you believe).

The receptionist were nice and helpful.It has parking which is good and important.But my room was not that clean.The towels and the bed were not 100% clean.And there was no slippers. So we walked barefoot, but there was a small piece of glass on the floor that hurts my husband feet. ☹️The elevator only go to the 4th floor. So if you are going to the second or third floor you have to take the stairs.There is a breakfast but I couldn’t eat anything because there are millions of fly on the food and on the coffee machine. It was disgusting.

Stayed here for 2 nights and I’d happily stay here again if I return to Skopje. Plus points - room was comfortable, location is great for the Bazaar and city centre. Breakfast was pretty good too and the staff on reception were friendly. WiFi in the room was a little patchy and there were a few flies which was a bit off putting! Shower wasn’t super hot either. Minor quibbles however.

Lift to rooms located on first floor,therefore hard work taking heavy luggage up 12 or more steps.The building was old and needing a renovation.Bed and pillow werent that comfy.The guys from reception especially Anna was very kind and helpful. The location is great and the breakfast was good.

good location, close to the center, staff is friendly.room 404 was falling a part, not as in the pictures, cant recomand it. Balcony door was not properly closing so a lot of traffic noise is coming in, so you cant sleep and rest

This hotel is nothing as you see in the official pictures. The room we stayed in was smelly, with dirt in it, not clean at all. The bathroom was as dirty as the room. The only three good things this hotel has were the receptionist (two very nice and professional), the breakfast(if you go earlyand the bed that was clean. So we do not advise any one to go at this hotel.

Rooms are clean but there were some holes that were not covered up or it was missing something the the nails were still sticking outside..The Receptionist, Ivan, was very helpful in finding us something to order at a late hour and he was very patient and polite with all of ower demandings.The Breakfast was good and it had plenty of food to choose from. We had a nice stay at the hotel.The Hotel is situated in the center of the town and very close to other Tourist attractions.

Good Service only to the receptionist Ana and Sasha, and breakfast is not so bad but when comes to anything else VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, the hotel need a LOTS of IMPROVEMENT

Conveniently located near the international bus station (15min walk), near the old market bazaar, opposite the castle and hearty fulfilling morning breakfast. Great staff manning the counter and the view from my room facing the castle was breahtaking. Strongly recommended and Lee p up the good work. The breakfast was always replenish by a senior humble lady, thank you for your hardwork lady. You did the hotel great!

Not bad, location is really good

Very convenient location if you like to explore the city. Great breakfasts (a buffet with all kinds of food). The place itself is a little neglected (things like blinking light in the bathroom or paint peeling off the ceiling). But still good value for the money.

Bad..very bad...the hotel dont be able for 4 stars ..maximum 2. No TV because no remote...no remote even for acclimatisation...

They have very unprofessional approach to guests. They called out our reservation on the same day the reservation was! We were basically left hanging on the border with no place to go. Highly rude with no appreciation towards the guests. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Its a shame. The hotel canceled our reservation at 9 am and from 2 pm on the same day we had a reservation. We are disappointed! We have never had a situation like this before! Very bad!

I do not recommend! The high marks of this hotel are greatly exaggerated. Room 204 supposedly has air conditioning, but it cannot be turned on. Receptionist has no idea what to do to get the air conditioner working. The called service boy stated that the remote control was from another air conditioner in another room and could not find the correct one due to the presence of guests. I started the air conditioner myself with the button under the casing, but the device was programmed to automatically turn off every hour .. Should I turn on the air conditioner every hour all night? The service boy just shrugged and did nothing. The device driver for the Normal operating position is disconnected. The device works only in the Test mode - it turns off every hour. The whole thing looks suspicious - planned electricity savings ?? The service is nice but incompetent. No manager or boss on site. The entire reception is decorated with diplomas with high marks from Booking - in my case, unfortunately, they did not work. The air conditioner is not working and the money was charged in full. The hotel shows a disrespectful attitude towards guests, I feel cheated.

Average hotel. Had to ask three or four times for them to bring up the cot they promised. Beds are firm and noisy. Showers only trickle. Continental breakfast had a few vegetarian options. Great location. Can walk to bizarre, graffiti tunnel, and Mother Theresa statue.

Great location, very nice staffs.This hotel has great location, near the bank, ATM, near the old quater new quater, and market, they have parking,...Everything just by walk,I forgot my phone in the room, the housekeeping found it and quickly and give it to the reception, i was sitting at the lobby, the receptionist give it to me, i was surprised because i thought i checked very well before i left the room, thank a lot to the lady who found it. ❤❤The owner and receptionist also very nice!I appreciate!

Great hotel in the center of Skopje. Close proximity to the Old Bazaar. The staff is wonderful and helpful.

Really awful. By far the worst 4 star hotel I have ever seen. Old, damaged furniture, dirty sheets, the carpets were not clean either, really bad. The breakfast was bad, too, the plates were dirty, the toaster couldnt be touched. Would not recommend.

There were some issues with hot water and heating but I got different room and everything was fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

More than excellent,Reception The people over there were like friends,And they are always ready for anything you want and very helpful ,The girl katerine and guy there , they are amazing , the give me nice price and nice room // sweet // all there its good and more than good ,They are promoting tourism in Macedonia in the capital, Skopje,I would like to come here again And book at the same hotel I can describe my experience as five stars

Rooms are clean enough but furnitures are old. Breakfast was very poor.

Nice and tidy hotel very centrally located. I booked it by accident not knowing the availability of a hotel in a chain we book in the company and have not regretted it. It is fairly old and there is no safe in the room. Breakfast is adequate and rich in variety. I would not recommend it for lengthy stays but for 2-3 days it is ok....

Friendly staff and great value for money. I didnt give it 5 stars, because this place lacks the facility of a lift and needs some refurbishment. Otherwise, it was a lovely experience and will revisit for sure.

The best and most convenient location. The staff particularly Sara and Ali are excellent and helpful. Breakfast spread is top class. WiFi is free.

It is okay for one night but location is not the best as it is at the noisy main road. Receptionist, the girl, very kind and helpful. Breakfast is not the burner but it is okay.

Everything was very nice. The hotel is at the center of the town and you can go everywhere by foot. It has its own private free parking which was very important for us. The receptionists were very kind and friendly and they speak English. The room was very clean and it had a big balcony with nice view in the town. It was hot even if it was Christmas and the weather was very cold outside. Nice prices.The breakfast had a big variety of foods and desserts. + we asked them to leave our car for some more hours after our check out in their parking because we wanted to have our last walk in the city and they had no problem. I was warmly welcomed it to the hotel extremely friendly and professional helpful with everything I ask for for the money and the price cant beat it central location literally 2 minute walk from ATMs the old Turkish market and the down town centre

The location was excellent and it was very easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great with comfortable bed and a big shower with multiple functions; unfortunately, one of the doors was missing so not all of the functions were usable. The breakfast had many options, mostly local foods, but was good.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean and cosy rooms. Location is just a few staps from old Čaršija and Stone bridge.

Pros: The staff is really attentive and helpful. We arrived early but we got the room in one hour (although a smaller room without balcony than was written in booking refernce). The breakfast was phenomenal - wide range of hot and cold meal and many type of dessert and we got real coffee when we asked from the staff free of charge. As we left the hotel early in the morning last day, the check out was fast and the staff managed the airport shuttle and packaged breakfast (although we asked vegetarian food, finally we got snadwiches with ham...).Cons: There are many small things at the room: the tiny rust in the kettle; cracked wallpaper; mold in the bath cabinet; bathroom taps were incomplete; the bed and pillow was not so comfortable; the curtain was torn apart in a few places. These are small things but the management could pay attention for these details.But the price value ratio was reaaly good.

Very nice place. Comfortable and very clean rooms. Superb position. Its in the old part of Skopje. (Çarshia). You can visit all the things on foot. The view is fantastic. You have free parking. Breakfast is included. I really love the place. The price is super ok for the comfort and the position. If you are in Skopje you have to come to this hotel.

Great Cost-benefit overall.Big and confortable rooms, very good location in walking distance to the AirBus (to the airport), local busses, and the city center. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. No complains at all for a hotel at thi cost.

This hotel is a real diamond in the heart of Skopje. Very nice rooms and great staff in the reception. This hotel gets 12 points out of 10 possible. Also visit the restaurant Tivoli in the same buildning.

Nice location between the new town and the old bazaar. Free parking in front of the hotel.Rooms are not very big, just about the right size. Clean and comfortable. Nice staff.Excellent breakfast with lots of options, both hot and cold dishes, very good sweets.Its right near the street, so noise might be an issue if you want to sleep with the windows open. With the windows closed, we had no problems.

Short walk to the old bazar. Just across the river from the center of Skopje. Easy parking - which can be hard to find in this area. Recently updated rooms with friendly front staff. Several small restaurants just steps out the front door.
