Süp in Reno

Never had problems parking near by. The strawberry salad with added chicken is fabulous - get the salad dressing on the side - it is great but super tart. The staff is so friendly they even tell you about other places that are allergy friendly.

Sup is easily one of my favorite places to go in Reno. Anytime someone is in town visiting Sup is a must. Their food is homemade and delicious at a super reasonable price. If there was one in North Reno I would go daily for lunch. Highly recommended!!

Perhaps an off dayWe ordered two soups and a sandwich. The soups were both tepid, closer to cold. The flavor profile of both soups was not appealing to us. The cauliflower soup had a polarizing seasoning which did not complement the soup and lingered long after consumption. The broccoli cheddar also had sharp-ish flavor ingredient that seemed out of place to us.The club sandwich was on an albino baguette that had little flavor with a texture like a half-baked loaf you would find at a grocery store. We tossed the bread. The chicken was very, very dry.Staff was nice.

Always a great meal, fantastic options for vegan and is meat eaters! Love a great grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. Along the same lines, who does not invite a sweet cookie!

Our meals were delicious. Took quite a while to receive our food. Staff apologized and are nice.

Incredible local restaurant in Reno!!!!! The food was so tasty and fresh! I got a bunch of crispy veggies, a super refreshing gazpacho and some grilled tofu on top that was just amazing 👏 I will definitely go back!!!

Tuna Melt and cranberry salad were fine, but the gazpacho was not a gazpacho. It was extremely chunky and pretty much tasted like cold tomato sauce. A gazpacho should have a creamier texture and should be blended. This gaszacho most definitely did not seem blended.

Great restaurant with unique sandwiches. I sat at the high top counter outside and enjoyed my sandwich with a view.

Yummy soup and sandwiches! Got a to-go order and the cashier was nice about letting me grab a water bottle instead of a fountain drink w my combo. 🫶

Wow. An absolutely delicious experience! All of the food was very tasty and fresh. The staff were all very friendly. The space was clean and there was plenty of seating! They have great gluten free and vegetarian options available. Overall a really great experience and I highly recommend going for lunch if youre in the area!

Super friendly and quick service. Its just, the food is very bland. Had a toasted veggie with the cranberry salad and mushroom cream. The salad and soup were fine, but the sandwhich was just disappointing. I like my home sandwhiches a lot better unfortunately. The tofu didnt have much flavor and the ingredients were pretty few and fresh but flavorless (couldnt really taste the tomato even). The bread of the sandwhich was good though. Also, the tomatoe bisque is a good soup.

I called to see if I could order a steak sandwich and steak salad and wanted it well-done. I was told they are too busy to cook it any longer than what it typically is. What does that mean but no. Wow! What a shame. I coordinate lunches/events for our entire office and have gone many, many times to Sup for these things. I guess, I (wewill be supporting other local businesses.

You can really taste the freshness and quality of their ingredients. I got the 1/2 sandwich soup and salad combo which was great. The spaghetti noodles in the chicken noodle soup was odd but had great taste. Im not a huge salad person but the cranberry salad was amazing. Can’t wait to come back

I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 11years and it only gets better. This is my classic pick for lunch when I come to Reno. Everything is tasty on the menu but I really enjoy the soups and sandwiches. This place is consistent, quick, and always delicious

Honestly you can never go wrong by eating here! Its a locally owned panera-dupe but it tastes better than panera and its fresher! The tomato bisque and the veg. chilli is super good, and their sandwiches and side salad are just so tasty! If you are a UNR student dont forget to tell them about your UNR discount!

Outstanding food.There was a wonderful neighborhood feel to it, and the waiters and waitresses were extremely kind and helpful. There was fast service as well. Would highly recommend.

My constant fear is not getting enough to eat, so when I go out to eat, I want to feel full. Once I ate a whole chicken. I had the the most delicious "West African Peanut Soup" and I was full. 😁

Unique soup and sandwich shop. My broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. It paired well with my chicken sandwich with cheddar bread and a side of cranberry mixed salad. The service is excellent. Inside seating paired with covered outside and patio seating. Great experience.

On Fridays I always order lunch. I spent ALL day trying to figure out where to order from. I finally settled on Sup. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a salad. The salad was huge, and the dressing was amazing! I The sandwich was also very tasty, and came with its own salad. The whole ordering process went through GrubHub, and I always get nervous ordering like that, but everything was executed perfectly from start to finish. My order even got here earlier than predicted. Thank you so much for a wonderful takeout experience, and some seriously delicious food! :)

Fun place for fabulous soups, sandwiches, and salads! These people know what theyre doing. The tomato bisque is the best, but all of their soups are great! The chicken club paired nicely with the tomato bisque, but any one of the daily soups will satisfy. I took my out-of-town sister there for lunch and she raved about our lunches. Even took a menu home to show her hubby. Parking is really tricky. I suggest going either before or after the lunch rush. Dont miss this place!

Salad was pretty good. Delicious.I wish they had natural juice or home made lemonade instead of bottled pop soda.

I love this place, as the name describes it has the best soups and sandwiches.. one of my favorite places in Reno to take a friend out to eat and enjoy a great salad. They have a wonderful customer service and a patio to really enjoy beautiful day in Reno.

Order a couple sandwiches and soup the side salad was the best of meal the rest was not.

Soups and salads are really good here, and plated so nicely. I had artichoke dip (5 stars!!!mushroom tom kha (not pictured), white bean chili, and broccoli cheddar and it was fantastic. Service was attentive and responsive and very friendly.

I have never been disappointed by the food here. Great sandwiches and soup! I also love the side salad they provide with their sandwiches. I am docking one star because I ordered soup-to-go and by the time I got home, the broth was everywhere. Süp did offer me an upgraded size if I returned or a refund. I do appreciate that.My recommendation so this doesnt happen to other soup patrons is to package the soup separately inside of a plastic bag because my roll and cookies were soaked as well. I also believe the paper container could have caused issue, so maybe looking into a new container option.

I am 50 years old and never have I ever experienced customer service like I experienced at SUP today! Incredibly impressed with staff from front counter to table. Extremely quick, exceedingly courteous. Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Overall really good dining experience. Will most certainly be hacks.

Excellent spot for lunch. Order, sit down and they bring your food. I had the crab and shrimp salad with the chimichurri dressing and a cup of clam chowder. The salad was perfect, that dressing was soooo good. Chowder was fresh, very good. I cant wait to go back and try more things. Very busy, get there early. Try this place, you will like it.

I was in love with the soup I ordered! Such a great deal when buying the combo comes with half a sandwich, salad, and a bowl of soup.I wasnt so impressed with the sandwich it was too dry and bread was very thick. I think it would have been better if it was made into a panini.

I ordered sup for takeout and had a really great experience. I found parking okay, staff brought the food to my car and it was still piping hot by the time I got it back to my desk! I got a grilled cheese and it came with a little salad and 3 little cookies - I was quite surprised and pleased by that. My tomato soup was really good. I look forward to eating here again in the future!

Staff was very friendly, fun, and helpful. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. I had The Club sandwich and a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup. It was delicious. You can tell the food is made to order and the ingredients are very fresh. I will absolutely be returning.

I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich + tomato bisque, they tasted really good. The sandwich is juicy and soft. The tomato soup is rich and creamy! The whole brunch cost me around $15, which is a little bit high since the portion isnt quite enough. The dinning area isnt comfortable, its crowded and noisy. Overall I think the food is good, but the environment could be better!

We heard Süp was a "locals favorite", and now we know why! Although it was a little chilly on the porch (only outdoor seating and to-go orders currently), the outdoor heaters kept it cozy and our soups warnmed us right up and were delicious 😋

Unfortunately, I can’t say I love Süp anymore! The last time I ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich, it didn’t have much meat on it and the chicken was overcooked, tough, not impressive. This time, I ordered the Crab & Shrimp Salad with Chimichurri Sauce online and paid for an extra salad dressing, but I got 2 of the same, no Chimichurri. There was about 1 oz of dry crabmeat (probably cannedand 3 shrimp tails with the tail shells left on. I found a few extremely wilted (black and wetgreens. At these prices, chef should be making sure the salad greens are fresh and I really expected fresh crabmeat. Deducting one star now. I won’t waste my money on that salad again but I will come back for their soups, they’re more reliable.My previous review: I ordered a half turkey pesto sandwich and a cup of the Ajaico soup. The soup was really good just what I was wanting. A great broth with a home cooked taste. I was surprised at the size of the sandwich, it wasn’t dry and the flavor was spot on, plus a bonus salad and cookie. Awesome! Everything I’ve tried here tastes much like it was homemade, it’s very good food not overly salted like most places.

Awesome place for some very delicious and nutritious food!The mushroom Tom kha was exceptionally tasty and full of generous portions of mushrooms, tofu, and greens.The staff is friendly and were attentive to details such as place settings and the need for extra napkins.Theres seating both inside and outside on the patio.Highly recommend a visit to get your soup-game on when feeling ill, or just looking for a good sandwich, quiche or pastry.

Cute and quaint spot to get soup and a sandwich or yummy salads! This place has a fun atmosphere and is reasonably priced for what you get. The food is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend the steak baguette. They do have vegan and vegetarian options as well. Also, they have different soups for everyday of the week.

This place has a really nice patio, the inside is cozy and nice. The service was good. The food lived up to the reviews.We each got a cup of soup and split a sandwich. They did split plates with the very delicious cranberry salad for both of us, little cookie too.We can’t wait to go back.

The food at Sup is excellent - I got a House Salad & a Tomato Bisque. They have a great variety of soups & sandwiches to choose from. The people are also really helpful.

Friendly staff, pleasant indoor music volume, and the decor was local paintings amongst other accoutrements that felt like a cafe. Great place for a lunch or an early dinner. They brought hot sauce and crackers for the soups. We were recommended to come here by someone who said they loved it and I see why. "Its like a better Panera," my friend said. I had the pita chicken cranberry wrap and it was perfect. The minestrone soup was the best Ive ever had. It was like they cut the ingredients to be smaller for the soup which changed the texture from what Ive had before. Definitely an improvement. Would recommend! Also the portions were decent. Not overwhelming, but I was definitely full. It was around $12 for my meal.

Quite honestly I dont know why I have not gone there before but this place has delicious delicious food!! The Mushroom Soup was amazing and so was the Steak Salad! I live very close from it. will return SOON!
