Sunshine Restaurant & Bar - Family restaurant in Aydin, Turkey
Today 11/03/2022 bought $43 food. Goat biryani was very much spoiled. Called to the restaurant. Spoke to whoever served me said It food, can spoil. If I go there next time, she will give me discount. But the lady was super rude.
Food is disgusting. Wanted chicken karahi. They told me no chef in today to make that. So I got chicken korma instead... Absolutely no flavor...couldnt eat it. The chicken biryani was dry...will not recommend.
Very good great taste food and best price naan,Kabab, chicken 65,fish pakora, garlic naan, samosa chaat ,sesame naan and very bz hillside restaurant New York
I don’t usually write reviews but today I felt like it was necessary I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Me and my friend ordered chicken biryani and I found a NAIL like a METAL NAIL IN THE RICE. Even though they gave another plate I just wasn’t comfortable eating there and the food seemed stale. Also, they don’t even provide water for people who dine in. I still respected and paid for my food but going foreward I would never go here. Please guys go somewhere else for Indian food besides here. It’s a hazard.
Food is over priced. Khabob roll every else is 3.50 they charged me 4.50 . Food is not bad .
This mid age guy and the lady always charges 2-3 $ extra . When u confront them they give yu your money back make sure you guys take your receipt and calculate before you pay
So rude !!!! I called for a question lady hunged up on me quickly!!! Will not be ordering here again. Go to Dera we’re they have better customer service.
We have ordered the chicken kababs ($2 each), chicken samosas/rolls ($2 each), fish pakodas ($14/lb), chicken 65 ($14/ 24 oz), and chicken Tikka masala ($14/ 24 oz). Kababs come with a yogurt dipping sauce. You will have to heat up everything once you get home, but everything had good taste. Chicken samosas and rolls could have been spicier. I wish they didnt use so much red food coloring. My fingers became stained orange after eating the chicken Tikka masala, almost as if henna/mehndi was applied.Store is busy, but two employees eventually came to service once the line got long. Staff is professional.
Terrible service, no matter how many times I’ve order on the phone the always somehow manage to get the food wrong without fail, it’s actually impressive how incompetent they are
They sell their bbq boneless pieces in either 24 ounce or 16 ounce containers that are clearly labeled inside the restaurant counter. When I asked for the 24 ounce chicken 65 which costs $14....the guy Rifat proceeded to add chicken to the container but never weighed it. I asked him if the container had 1.5 lbs of chicken and he said he doesnt weigh them. When I insisted he weigh the container..it came to 15 ounces (not even a full pound). This place is so poorly run by the owner Waseem that its not worth your while if youre looking for honest food service. Prices are high and the amount of food low.
Bad customer service and they charged me extra $10.50 for a stay in order. Dont go there. Make sure u check the price at the end. Waste of money and time. The food is old and they just heat it up.
I just ordered for my whole family. The food was perfect. The chicken chili is seasoned so well and the kebabs were gone so quick! Everyone loves the food and wouldn’t stop asking about where we ordered from. I personally drove out to Queens before my event to pick it up and it was worth it. They even had a worker that helped me place the food in my car safely for my drive home and nothing spilled :will deff be catering from here again 🙏🏼
The food was good. Lots of meat selection. Some of the food is cold, you may have to heat up when you get home.
I ordered 6 bread (روٹیاںwith curry. They gave me 2 old breads in packet. They do it before and I caught them in sight but this time I forget to check and they played with me. So brothers and sisters always check when you are doing take away from this restaurant and do not take old breads.
Best food you can ever have ,I tried many times and also used them for catering. Amazing food definitely recommended
Delicious food and very friendly staff. Will be back again
This restaurant actually have a bad habit of serving cold cooked food. & yesterday night I ordered from Uber Eats they gave me the wrong order I ordered beef shesh kabab they gave me Chicken shesh kabab. Horrible Man. Just because we are taking take out order that doesn’t mean you are going to serve us cold food & how would I know if it’s fresh !! What if you are serving me something that is 3 days old !! Just horrible experience!! 😑
Cuisine is quite tasteful with Pakistani cooking flavor. Ambience needs improving.Could use extra waiter and kitchen help to facilitate order wait time.
I don’t even know how this place is still open not sure if the health inspectors are being bribed 😂. Be careful and eat at your own risk.
Bought chicken Biriyani 3 packets of $6.99 each and one veg Biriyani. After second spoon, we all feel vomiting. Rice is raw, chicken is raw, NO taste at all. Chicken is not properly marinated and boiled. I threw all of them. Honestly, I dont want to waste your money. I suffered a lot. I went with this food to a mountain in vacation. But In mountain areas, I didnt see any food there and neither I could eat this chicken biriyani. I will go and talk to the restaurant Manager soon.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This was actually the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. All the employees here treat you like absolute garbage. Pretending to not hear you, ignoring you, being rude and impatient. Every thing terrible you can name. The cashier yelled GIVE IT TO ME before she snatched my credit card out of my hand. Then proceeded to basically throw my food at me. In addition, all the food that I bought made me and my family feel sick and actually PHYSICALLY HURT one of them. They left all the food open when they gave me and it was extremely cold when I ate it despite me telling them multiple times to heat it up. If you can avoid this poison, please do. There are so many better options around the area.
I wish there was a option to give zero stars. The worst service and worst biriyani i have ever tried period. Bought the goat biriyani and beef biriyani, some kababs, fish pakora etc. The kababs and pakora was good but man, the biriyani was just rice and bones. I REPEAT JUST RICE AND BONES. NO MEAT AT ALL. Bought the food so we can have our Iftar. When we showed them there was literally just rice and bones, the employe said he did it because there was no meat left. Man if there’s no meat left just tell your customer that there’s no more biriyani instead of giving them bones just to get the money. Told them to put the biriyani in garbage. If this is how you guys get your money from people then i guess it’s time to close your business.
Very bad customer service. Lady at the store needs to learn some customer service. She has no manners and very bad attitude.
Very disappointed. Food was horrible. I ordered mutton ,the container was too small and it full of oil and big pieces of bones . I didnt find a mutton piece .Too much oil and full of bones. Horrible food. The customer service also very disappointed. Please dont serve this kind of food to people.
Very poor customer service place order by phone for pick up they came me time 1 hour come to place to pick up order they forget now have to wait another 30 minIts happened twice
They used to have the best biryani in NYC area but since the change in management 2 years back the food has become totally bland and tasteless. Kebabs and other dishes are still okay but the quality of ingredients used is a bit circumspect.
Foods price and quantity is reasonable. Reason inhave 2 stars the foods taste was so bland no taste at all only look good in color . And they use the most cheapest rice to prepare .
I will never eat here again. I ordered a few dishes and they were all cold. The food was taken straight from tray where food should always be warm.
Excellent kabab rolls, love the food here Mashallah, have been going for years. All the food is cooked fresh daily Alhamdulillah. Highly recommend a stop over for good desi food.
Horrible place. They have no sense of running a business and dont know how to stand by their words. POOR service. Called multiple times no answer as usual. They pretty much always do that with their phone. I Walked into store and was told to wait for 20 minutes for 8 naans. I told them I would be waiting outside the restaurant. They took an hour to prepare 8 naans. Turned out they were giving naans to other people from my order so when I would come to pick up they would start preparing my order right at that time. REDICULOUS!!!. They take pride in this kind of service because they dont feel anything wrong with their service despite so many bad reviews.
Ordered 15 Naans but they forgot to tell the cook. it’s over 55 minutes for 15 Naans.I called and asked what time they close and they said 10:30. Then I called 10:07 they said ehe kitchen closed at 10. This is so upsetting.
The kebabs n vegetable samosas are very tasty. Nihari and nan could be better. Nothing compared to nihari and nans from kebabish. Sunshine prices are good. I still give five starts because of kebabs n samosas.
I am editing my review for a reason. Ive been coming here for a while now but never asked them to heat up the food for take out until now. They heated it up in the same plastic container that they packed in. They just popped the container in the microwave and the container obviously melted. They then wanted to just replace the container. I had to specifically ask them replace it and heat it up in a non-plastic container.I like this place because the food and quality is good but the take out containers need to change. Microwaving plastic containers are not safe not consumption and the environment.
Very dirty restaurant as usual like all others Pakistani. Food display very awkward. They way they serve look like customers owe them. I will request every DESI they should boycott & discourage others not to go eat this type of unhygienic food. This is challenge to each of the Pakistani Restaurant management to correct their staff weired attitude, provide healthy food, Restuarant should look real not Lari Adda restaurant of Pakistan or shut your this Gunda dhabba.
Customer service is non existent at this poorly operated and managed restaurant! Every time I’ve called they have told me an incorrect time and made me wait 40 minutes - 1 hour after arriving. Orders never ready on time, and extremely unprofessional and uneducated staff. Never returning here!
Please dont waste your time in calling ahead as they tend to forget the order and you will end up waiting for your order when you get there. Very frustrating experience I had today as I had to wait about 45 minutes addition after I had called ahead for my food.
Order Bihari Kabbab on 4/3/21 and other food- to much garlic that can burn my tongue. and its Not Bihari kabbab masala. meat is not that soft. Went to the Hillside
What a rip off. Over charged and food tastes so bad. Bad service also. We will never go back .Shame on them. We need to complain about this restaurant to better business bearu .
I ordered biryani, chicken qorma and naan for a birthday party on Friday. While the food was worst. I think owner or management is changed. Their standard of food is very bad now. They use cheap stuff in food. Very bad experience. Peoples should avoid to order food for any event.
The mediocre food isn’t worth dealing with the customer service! I only live 2 blocks away and I will no longer order food from this place as they give you attitude if you don’t know what you want right away. If you call and take more than 10 seconds to order the lady over the phone hangs up on you. The price is the only thing they got going for them. I guess you get what you pay for.
The Kebabs are very good value for the money. Can get very busy at times but the food is always fresh.Updated May 2019- the food has only gotten better over time. And I just noticed they have iftar too.Updated Aug 2020 - the place is less busy now with covid but the food is still great. Just call ahead and the food will be ready for pickup.
Im a regular customer here. I usually come here several times a week. I noticed that the server/cashier (not Nitu, the older oneis often disrespectful to customers. Today is not the first time I saw her behaving like this. In the past, I ignored thinking that she might be too tired or just having a bad day. But looks like she is doing this constantly. Not that she did anything to me but I think its fair that I speak up. Sunshine needs to train her on customer service.
Food is competitive for the price. They have different to go serving sizes. To order naan you have to give yourself 15 minutes so better call before coming in. If you’re looking for a high end place you should probably look for some in the area however staff is nice and friendly
Fabulous flavors and for some, a bit spicy. Try the lamb shank. Juicy, tender, loaded with flavor and a tasty sauce! They’ll cut it up for you.Their nan bread is spectacular! Garlic nan is loaded with flavor, fresh and moist. The drawbacks: not the most appetizing atmosphere, plastic utensils, blaringly bright inside.Great prices, verrry reasonable!Figure on $20 per person with ample sized portions
Food is decent but the service is terrible. They don’t really care for cleanliness. But the food is relatively cheap. The chicken kebab with nan is def. worth it if you are on the go.
Old food. Worst customer service and instead the owner of the place called and ask why u come and ask my workers if the food is fresh. I answer him saying because 99.9 percent its not. They are very good with overcharging people. So make sure to confirm the prices. No doubt their kababs are really good and thats the only reason I go back to this place.
Most of the food is few days old. Staff is mean and rude look like they don’t want to work. They have take it or leave it attitude. Very unprofessional. Please train them and teach them some manners. We are paying money it’s not a soup kitchen for God sake.
So I have been going to this place for sometimes mostly for naans and the reshmi kababs. Today when I went the pandora box was opened as the Health and Food Inspector was there. The place looked cleaner than usual....told them to heat up the goat curry meat as no one eats cold foot especially in chilly weather. The lady on the counter said I will not warm up the food as Health inspector is here! I said so routinely you provide us with "unhealthy" food that go against food and health regulations! I left and decided never to go to this restaurant and advice other too! When food inspector asked how do u warm this food up in the front, the restaurant representative it comes warm from the kitchen! Liars!
Good and cheap food tastes perfect. There kebabs, fish Fry pakoras are also wonders .Its a must try and you be the judge
I ordered naan Kabab rolls and they gave nann, Kebab and a bunch of onions not cool all 3 of my orders they normally come with carrots and lettuce
