Sunshine Oriental Restaurant in Concord

Good food and nice portions but pricing is high. Lunch special is the way to go unless you want to pay $15 for a dish. Last time I went food was greasy. Too expensive. Not worth the money you pay.

Tina and Yung are the best. They have great food here. Ive known them for a long time and they are always happy and friendly. They dont deliver anymore but have a great seating area or take out. Highly recommend Sunshine Oriental on Loundon rd, Concord NH. Right next to 7-11 store.From Richard

Owners are so nice. Tina remembers every customers name! The food and dim sum are great. This is the only Chinese food place we go to.

I went their with my mom for lunch. I paid some in cash than rest on card. The card reader wasn’t working I tried multiple cards I showed the woman how I had money just so she’d know that I had money, she than snapped at me that nothings wrong with her machines it’s my card. Which was fine so I asked for my cash back so we could go somewhere else for lunch her response was nope I’ll take some the meal out and give you this you can give it to your friend and use your card somewhere else. I only get a half hour break and this woman was very rude and wouldn’t listen to my request for the money back so I took the meal. You will never get our business again.

Super nice service, and so many choices for lunch and dinner!!! Kind of a small place but definitely has all the favorites that you want when you go out for Chinese food. We did a couple of Chefs Specialties the last time we went and they were delicious. The Szechuan green beans with pork was a nice change from the usual and very tasty! Will definitely get that again! Also love their chicken wings! Also the lunch specials are good all day so if you want to save a couple dollars at dinner time that is an option.

Was recommended this place by someone local. I have to say Tina is very nice and the food was absolutely amazing! If I stay in this town this will be my go to place she helped me find something new! So if you don’t know what you want Tina wi help you! Those shrimp dumplings where amazing!

Went on christmas day. No dim sum that i had looked forward to butthat soon didnt matter. Both my daughter and i had soups and dinner plates. Moo shu pork and sesame chicken. The chicken was crispy fried with not to sweet sauce. The moo shu was awesome. Will definitely go back for dummies sum.

You must try this place. Excellent food and service. Owners are very friendly.Try the dinner combo plates...perfect foods!PuPu platter is a great choice as well.Hot tea is always flavorful and the Hot & Sour soup is one of the best I have had.

Lovely family operated and owned business! They prepare food to order, fresh ingredients and piping hot! I love the traditional foods they offer; I have yet to be disappointed with any dish Ive ordered. They have seating for in house dining, fabulous service! As well as take out and delivery options! The food to portion ratio is spot on with the cost. Highly recommend you give them a try!

Decent Chinese food with super nice service and speed. I came here after a long day hike and was just amazed by the taste. Didnt think such a small restaurant could have such good taste. Will recommend to my hiking buddies if its on their route.

Super friendly staff with absolutely massive delicious portions! Take out or dine in are wonderful options. Cant recommend it enough theres a discernable difference between here and anywhere else.

They are classic.American Chinese food. They are always really friendly, and always super fast.We order take out primarily, and from the time we call in an order to the time we get there is always tasty to just grab and go!Their crab rangoons are a solid choice, as are their sorting rolls.

I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants but this is one of the best. The food here is quite good, and at a low price it is worth every penny. The servers are super cheerful and I had a lovely conversation with them. Great food, great service, this place should be top on your list.

I absolutely love this place. The only complaint I have is the seating. There isnt enough. BUT, I love the food and I absolutely love the people. So friendly and attentive. This place has great service, and the kid running the front is awesome! He takes orders extremely well the first time which almost never happens anywhere When ordering over the phone at a takeout. The food is always fresh,hot and is definitely a new favorite of ours.*****UPDATE******* we just re visited last night and ate at the actual restaurant . It was a lovely experience and everything was very fresh and very hot! We will definitely return.

Omg. Tried this place for the first time tonight. We’re somewhat new to the area. The people, service and the food were beyond incredible!!! If this place had more than a five star rating I would have given it the highest one available. Good job people. You have a long time costumer. Thank you. Oh and your prices are great.

My wife and I were thrilled with the food and the service. We will definitely make Sunshine Oriental a regular eating spot for our family. Food is very fresh and piping hot. Had the sesame beef and Three Delight Tofu Hotpot. Cant even pick our favorite out of the two! Shumai was wonderful as well. Sorry, no photos... Couldnt stop eating...

I agree with many other reviews, this is the best Chinese food in the area. Go there for the food, not the decor, which is below average, but ok. The food is great. (Unlike most NH Chinese, not too sweet, more "authentic.").

Went here with my family and we had all different meals, each which we really enjoyed. It is an inexpensive spot for quick, piping hot food with all the general oriental classics you look for on a menu. The restaurant is not pretending to be a 5 star high class place, but is simple, comfortable, clean and everyone was very friendly. Parking lot is small and on the main road though, so getting in and out can be a little bit of a pain.

This place is the best. My husband and I are weekly regulars because of the amazing food and service. Everything is clean, the food is high quality and with lots of different options that go beyond the typical Chinese food menu. Dim Sum can’t be beat and neither can the soup. I can’t rave about this place enough!!!

The best Chinese food in New Hampshire. Fast service with super friendly staff at a very reasonable price.A great place for a quick meal. Stop in and say hi to Ms. Tina and the gang.But remember the food is lava hot, lol.

Wonton soup outstanding! We had Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, and Pork Fried Rice. Food was very flavorable and tasty. They give great portions. We are foodies and very finacky so we have high expectations and there was nothing to complain about... Only compliments. Sam, our server, was great and very personable.

I had just driven past this place for years and never stopped in. Im glad I decided to. Not only is the food delicious, the quality is great, the portions are huge, the prices are less then most other chinese food places in the area and they offer a much wider and more diverse selection of dishes. Definitely worth the trip! My new favorite place!

Favorite Chinese food restaurant in Concord. Hopefully no one reads this and finds out, cuz I hate for it to become crowded. But I love the staff they treat you like friends and the food is always great.

Great food at a good price! Very well made, and a nice big selection of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff is also very nice, and friendly. Their orange beef is to die for!

The Sunshine Oriental Restaurant is simply a great restaurant. The hostess that greets you is great- she greets everybody with her cheerful, friendly voice. The servers are always alert, and will happily and repeatedly refill your soda glass, and will make sure everything else is OK- they are great, also! Then there is the food- everything we have ordered there has been wonderful. The hot and sour soup is perfect, the egg rolls are delicious, the pork fried rice excellent.and the entrees I have ordered- all great. Their General Gaus chicken is, I think, the same as General Tsos, and it is delicious. The Szechuan Spicy Chicken I have ordered many times- it is fabulous. The menu is very large. You must try the Deep Fried Sesame Balls (DS12)!! I do not think I have ever seen them on any other menu anywhere. They are not to be missed! Do yourself a big favor- visit the Sunshine Oriental Restaurant!

Not really all that impressed with the food but the portions are huge (we had loads for takeawayand prices are reasonable. The place has a really strong moldy smell, probably from a lack of proper ventilation. Service was friendly but sloppy.

Been going here the past couple months. My fiancé and I have chosen this as our new permanent Chinese restaurant. It’s a family owned cozy restaurant and nice to sit in, as well as to take to go. The food is very generous in portions and the food is absolutely delicious and lots of it is freshly cooked or homemade, including there mustard dip which is a must if you like hot. They know me by first name anytime I come in which is nice and the staff are super friendly, Sam being one of them! Thank you for your great service!

Im giving them 2 stars because they were friendly but the food was not good. The sesame chicken was tough and had no broccoli like the picture on the wall. The spare ribs in black bean sauce was a pork chop cut up, mostly bone and fat, not good. I would not go back.

Extremely friendly people, whenever I eat here, I feel like I’m family. The food is the best Chinese food that I’ve ever had in the US, and I suggest you try everything on the Dim Sum menu (you can’t go wrong with the traditional sticky rice, dumplings, and bbq pork bunsthe rest of the menu is out of this world, too, and my cousin is obsessed with the crispy sesame chicken. This is my go-to place for comfort food takeout, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Best, most authentic chinese food in Concord. And the kindness of the people make it even better. I dont go anywhere else anymore...and I find myself making excuses to pop in for an order of dumplings.If youre ordering your same old thing - do yourself a favor - branch out and try something off the Dim Sum menu.

One of my favorite restaurants ever! The food is amazing and the owners are very friendly. For $20 you can have enough food for two people and plenty of leftovers to take home.

A few authentic favorites and good dim sum anytime. Great Stop on a road trip for something salty and satisfying. Chinese broccoli was fantastic and seafood tofu soup was comforting i i usually dont pay much mind to the server quality but the staff here is so exceptional friendly and seems to know everybody by name by the time they leave

We were passing through Concord and picked this place because of the ratings. When we walked in I was a little nervous because there were two white guys at the counter. But not to worry the service was awesome and the food was even better. If you want really good Chinese at a good price, served quickly with smiling faces, come here.

Good dim sum in a casual atmosphere with friendly service. Today was our first visit to Sunshine Oriental, and we were happy to find dim sum in Concord. All the dishes we tried were fine or better, including some very different takes on classics. The young woman who greeted us was sincere and effusive (with us and all other guests). Definitely worth checking out.

Sunshine is amazing!!The food is authentic, comes to you hot, and fast.Locally we cannot find the same foods, and certainly not at this quality.DimSum, sticky rice, sesame balls, steamed buns, you name it they have it.When you go in to try them out tell the owner Tina that Paula and Ron sent you!!Bring the family and your appetite.Yum!

We loved this place! It is hard to find a great hole-in-the-wall restaurant these days but this one is a gem. The food is delicious, it is clean, and the staff is friendly. It is a new favorite for my family.

First time trying because the reviews were so positive and dont get me wrong I had a good experience with the staff but the food is so meh.. everything I ordered was hardly flavorful. Im putting salt on my chicken lo mien just to get a flavor out of it.. not really worth my 22$ sorry. Rather go to meis and Im kinda sure they eat cat... soo.

I came here because I was craving some sesame chicken and on my way in, a gentleman walking out told me "whatever youll order, itll be good". After my meal, I absolutely agree, the food is above delicious and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Im going to be returning to this place

Every time I order food here for pickup is always fresh and tasty. Inviting atmosphere and all around good people. My favourite dish is beef chowfoon..yummy!

We love this place! It is a cute family owned restaurant and not only is the food delicious, but the family that owns it is always so kind. We came in to pick up our take out today and not only did they remember us but they even remembered we had children and gave me a hand written mothers day card. BEST asian food Ive has since moving from Boston ! Worth the 45 min drive for me ! Fresh and they do not dump a ton of extra stuff over the food like many other places do .Dim sum was so good , as well as all the other specials we had ! Staff is friendly and welcoming !! Will go again ! Prices are great and place was so nice and clean !!

Very welcoming owners that are there all the time. Dim sum was better than we had in Boston Chinatown and we can order anytime! Highly recommend! Every dish we have tried has been great. Sesame Balls are my daughters favourite. Singapore noodles are popular along with steamed barbeque pork buns and sticky rice.

Stopped here summer of 2014, and what a pleasant surprise! The food was great and the service very prompt and friendly. My wife and I had lemon chicken and Yu Hsiang eggplant hot pot - both were terrific! I love this little place, and they have a very good menu with many interesting dishes on it. We live 3 hrs. away, and are making it a point to plan our next trip to that area with a definite stop at the Sunshine Oriental Restaurant!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem in Concord. The food here is very authentic which I love. They have dim sum dishes (order from the menu, no push carts), pork intestines, tripe, and a number of other very authentic dishes. I had the seafood delight in a fried noodle bowl and they didnt skimp on the scallops or other seafood!
