Sunshine Inn - in Burns Lake, Canada
Didnt even stay here but the nice fellow at reception tried his best to help find us a room at other locations when we passed thru town. Thats service!
Ros smell like cigarettes, bedspread had dey gravy or something like that
Decent place to stay for a night or two. Pretty basic. My room was spacious and everything worked. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. No breakfast lately and Wi-Fi isn’t the best so make sure you have enough data on your phone.
Stay in burns lake location regularly for work .Its not the Ritz, and it doesnt claim to be .Its clean , the staff are friendly and courteous, Ive never had an issue .Its not brand new with vallet parking , but everything works. And its clean.
The rooms at this place needs to be renovated, some of the amenities looks to be order, so far everything is good, people at the front desk are friendly…
Beds and bedding need to be upgraded, old bedding, old beds, slow wifi and the plug didnt work properly by the bed so could only plug one thing in at a time..a little sketchy. People are very nice, but they need to do a little tlc on their rooms.
My room was spotless the staff was like hey auntie I felt so welcomed
Place is falling apart. Ive been staying here for a few years as business trips warranted it, but will look elsewhere next time. TV and TV stand must have been trashed so they have a computer monitor balanced on a night-stand and cable box. Room was filthy, broken heater. Talking to locals, seems the place has "a rep" for the party place in town.
It was food nice rooms great service
Quiet, clean, affordable in a central location. The owners are incredibly accommodating and all staff are friendly and helpful. The only hotel I will stay at in Burns Lake.
Overpriced for the quality. Filthy comforter on one of the beds, dilapidated phone that didn’t even work to call the front desk, backed up bathroom sink, no tub stopper to bath the little one.Wouldn’t recommend as I expected a bit better quality for $119/night.
Love this place! Very clean 👌
Room stunk. Dirty towels left in room from guest before me. No soap in dispenser in bathroom hand washing sink.
Service is great but the rugs in the rooms are filthy. The other amenities are typical of any motel.
A bit tired but good beds. No breakfast in this covid times...
The room was dated. The bed had a twin sheet on a double bed so just kept coming off while sleeping. Room was hot. They have like 3 channels. The fridge made more noise than anything. There was literally food on the floor. The duvet was stained and looked about 20 years old. No screens on the windows. I could go on but I’m not sure who would pay to stay here it was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in I would compare it with a lesser hostel in Thailand!
Rooms are decent price.good location to hwy
Very clean, great customer service,The room was clean sanitized with the paper sealed toilet, nice size of room with a mini fridge, tv and microwave. My only problem was the pillow to high for my neck but next time I will ask for a flat one and they only had 2 bath towels, they should put at least one extra if the guests is a couple and the wife has long hair one bath towel is not enaugh.
The sink was badly clogged, We mentioned it to the front desk, they literally said they couldnt do anything about it. We asked for draino, or a plunger. They didnt have either, but offered a toothbrush?!We had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the bathtub all weekend. Pretty gross.
The room wasnt the most updated one we have been in but it was spacious and clean. Very quiet and the bed made up for the older room. It was extremely comfortable.
Nice clean place. Cleaning service is provided daily. No kitchenette though.
Dirty carpet, cigarette smells in the room and smelly fridge (don’t recommend it)by the way the internet is good
Very nice place to stay. Clean room, updates are nice. I would definitely stay here again.
Great little motel. Cheap and fairly reasonable for small town. Its no hotel but its nice. Continental breakfast fairly quiet but still.hear outside pretty good. Well maintained.
Room with 2 beds was too small one bed was too close to outside wall. 2 remotes necessary for TV use. One remote to change channel and a second remote to adjust volume..
The beds are very hard. The floor would be a softer thing to sleep on. The staff is very friendly. The place is a place to crash for the night but your back will argue with you in the morning.
Nothing fancy but clean. Beds were quite hard. Reasonable cost.
Nice place to stay. Manager gave us nice quiet room away from highway. RV friendly
Affordable, open late, helpful staff, and the coffee in the morning was hot and caffeinated. Does what it says on the tin.
Real friendly guest first staff always a welcome hotel to stay in
I was working at Burns Lake for few weeks and stayed in one of Deluxe room. The room was in poor quality and Wi Fi was so slow. This place is overpriced. Breakfast was terrible. I had to go to A&W. By the way, Average customer service.
Rooms are very nice, cleaned daily. No alarm clock in the room though.
Pleasant rooms, warm stay. Good rates.
It is on the outside edge of town. They gave me a room on the main floor in response to my request on the booking site. The breakfast was ok but a bit light for a cyclist. There is a restaurant next door but they were not open the evening I was there so I cycled back into town to the pub. The room was nicely appointed and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Updated modern rooms, comfortable bed, clean establishment and friendly staff. Place offers continental breakfast. I would stay here again.
Beds are extremely firm. Quiet, dog friendly and clean.
Have stayed several times over the years, and find the facility provides modest, but clean and comfortable accommodation, with an added light, free breakfast (cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, juices and coffee, etc). My last visit I was overly pleased when, after leaving my purse in the room and not realizing this until I was over an hour down the road, the owners jumped in their car to deliver to me. Would not accept my offer to pay for gas. Now that is Service.
Super staff, nice room, well kept , the breakfast was nothing special, just cereal , and prices were a bit high and they offered no discount , but they did upgrade is from a double to queen beds.
Decent room. Everything was clean but the carpet. Beds were hard.
Nice facility. Good service. Nice people. Restaurant next door closed before their advertised time. Had to find another place to eat.
rooms are up to date and cozy. not very big but Wi-Fi isnt too bad with modem connection available. free breakfast is available though I have never had it.
I felt safe, the bed are very comfortable, the only thing is there breakfast option is slim.
staff In night dont know anything. WiFi very weak call couple times not fix the problem
Rooms are clean and comfortable, coffee maker, small fridge, WiFi and cable along with a continental breakfast..staff helpful and friendly
Decent place to stay but you can hear the highway noise throughout the night.
Rooms were affordable and clean and the front desk people were friendly
Basic motel type accommodation. I found the furnishing in 2nd floor of the main building (where check in office is into be slightly newer than the 2nd floor of the other building.
Regular rooms, motel style parking, low maintenance breakfast
No pillow options, and they were all old and clumpy. The shower was of poor quality.
Stayed fall of 2015. Just over night for business. It may be nothing fancy but the rooms are nice and they are clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay again. Am staying again spring of 2016.
