Sunset Motel in Creston

Before were very hard. Showers are okay but you need to be short. The shower head is really low.

Room looks clean, stinks like old stale smoke, even though it’s a nonsmoking room. Newer tub and bathroom fixtures. Told there was a pool and hot tub… nope. Bed could be updated, double beds are a thing of the past. The Orange bedcover… wow that’s ancient, furniture is form the 50’s…. Won’t be back. One night will be more than enough.

No channel listing for television and front desk unable to help. Couldnt control shower temperature.

Very friendly staffThe rooms were a little dated, but, the rooms were clean and The price was Pretty reasonable. It was nice to be able to stay in a mom and pop place and be treated like you were valued.. We would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here and next time we’re going through the area it would be top of our list to stay

I was desperate for a place to stay and at 10:30 at night they had a room and held it 10 minutes, even turning another party down, until I arrived. The room was clean, proprieter was friendly and helpful.

Exactly what you would expect for a small motel in a small town. Room was fine, floors and bathroom were updated. Furniture was dated but served it’s purpose. AC was noisy but didn’t bother us too much. All in all, a pleasant and quick stay.

The room was clean, but the pillows were way too soft, and the shower too unpredictable first too hot and then too coldA/c was great, nice and quiet motel

Very clean room, a wee bit small. Beds in our room were double size. Would truly prefer a queen to share.

Clean and quiet retro hotel, sparkly clean. Super friendly people at the front desk. Exactly what you would expect driving through a small town and not wanting to spend a fortune.If you enjoy a retro vibe with all the amenities within walking distance....I recommend the Downtowner.

Very nice, it has towels in the bathroom. For you too use and they are very clean, they also have a TV to keep you entertained. This Motel is lovely

Driving through in the bikes and got caught in the rain. Staff was sweet and we joked around. Most if our stuff was soaked and she actually threw it in the dryer for us. Rooms were clean and lotsa hot water. Would definetly stay here again.

The folks are warm and friendly, the rooms are very clean andthe beds are comfy, for Men who love their showers, its the best shower pressure I have ever had at a motel, its true get room #37, thats the one l, thank yoy Sunset Motel, nice views too

Off season, passing through looking for a bed for the night......if you find yourself in this scenario when in Creston check this place out. Dated but well maintained, clean, comfortable for a good rate.

Stayed here for 1 night this summer. Hosts were very pleasant and friendly. Very informative about Creston. Room was ready and clean when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!

Showed up and got quoted 10 dollars higher than any of the travel sites. Forgot to tell her about my tiny non allergenic dog, paid an extra 15 for that! Neighbours woke at 11pm and smoked cigarettes and weed right outside our room. Watch out for our dog....also made friends with the giant black dog in the room next door, it was pretty easy because he was unleashed. The pool is actually a patio so dont believe the pictures. Oh yeah, and the bathroom door wouldnt close either. If you see someone missing half a pair of glasses let me know....found them under the bed. Obviously the previous tenant didnt pay 15 bucks extra for the "deep clean". Stay away. Oh I almost forgot. Wifi didnt work.

This motel has nothing good going on anywhere. Owners left for coast without telling and showing me who was watching their motel. Got locked out last night at 1234 am and couldnt find out who had master keys. Drove into Creston and talked to a RCMP officer who gave me some info. While banging on door 28 a gentleman can out of a door and helped me. We banged on some other doors but they werent there either. My gentleman helper pointed behind the motel to the backup caretaker. I wasnt comfortable going down theire in dark. Drove to my friends house and her partner came back to see what he could recommend.Finally we all went behind and found the house and the caretaker gave the keys to us and wham I was in.

Rooms smell a little bit funny as well as beds are a little uncomfortable. Otherwise this hotel is just fine.

Clean, friendly and I will return.

Obviously the owner is trying to cut expenses...however, need to charge less for noisy air conditioner, cheap & rock- hard beds, flat pillows, dirty/stained carpet...OR upgrade to match what ur charging...I should have slept in my car for greater comfort

Checking in and out is quick and painless. Very easy to find, located right on the highway. The room itself was okay. There are a lot of channels on TV compared to many other hotels. The bed is quite hard, but itll do. There is an outdoor pool which I did not use.

For a motel, was decent. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly.

Incredibly friendly staff, with spacious rooms and clean amenities. Closely located to central Creston and Main Street. Couldnt recommend any other hotels in Creston.

Was way over priced for what I got. The bed was awful and sheets discoloured. Just felt like a dump. For 60$ I wouldnt complain but I paid 120$ for one night. The owners were nice but I felt really ripped off

Staff is nice, cheap to stay, low quality though (example. Small tube tv, stains in tub). Great place for just a place to sleep.

Owners were friendly and nice. Rooms are a bit old but were clean. Definitely get what you paid for.
