Sunset Garden in Curepipe

Lovely atmosphere, tropical garden setting with candles on each table. Our waiter was exceptional, carismatic and professional. Complimentary bread basket with butter and good food and the price are good ... I recommend it.

One of my favorite places at Flic en Flac!( and I tried almost every one of them on Coastal Rd )Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, the food, and cocktails are super delicious, and the prices are reasonable.The staff is very hospitable and efficient, and they truly care about the clients experience ❤I have been there several times, and I have always been delighted.The Sunset Garden also provides food delivery, its fast and convenient!Recommend this place!Thank you for your fantastic service! 🙏🏻

What an unbelievable experience. Wonderful food, prettiest restaurant in Flic en Flac and some of the best wait service Ive ever experienced courtesy of the amazing, tireless staff. This had us returning night after night to lounge in the classily lit tropical garden. And all for a price totally in line with far superior places in town. Cannot recommend it enough. And again, honestly, the staff bend over backwards to help you and welcome you - just incredible people.

My customers (25 peoplereserve a table, but the restaurant was not able to provide the service. It took two and a half hours to finally serve them, and then the food was not even good.Manager was dismissive of complaints and told them they could leave after an hour.I can and will never recommend this restaurant to any of my customers, family or friends.

We waited a long time for our food, more than 40 minutes despite the restaurant being very quiet. My husband’s grilled fish was only ok, but my sizzling beef was very tasty in fairness. The red wine I had was not drinkable and tasted horrible. The portions were generous but the staff weren’t that friendly and service was slow, they didn’t check how we were or if the food was ok at any point either.

The waiters were nice and the atmosphere was great. The food was tasty. It is spacious. There are trees here and there.

Awfull, they charge us for things we didnt order. We order plain rice they give us another one saying there is "no more plain rice" and charge us double the amount. Dont go there the food isnt that good anyway.

Worst restaurant in flic en flac had some frite noodles frite rice beef steak with some friends yuck not good at all, services to slow but I enjoy the music only

Worth to visit. Very good seafood. Creole menu is medium. But lobster in garlic sauce is the best in Mauritius.

Very cosy, ask for recommendations when you order. As with nearly all places on Mauritius; the menu is comprehensive, but they are usually not great at all dishes on the menu. Follow the lead of your waiter.

Would give 1 star, but food was good so i will give 2 stars. I really didnt like the server or waiter, a man who was serving us, i though that he is very rude with his colleagues and customers. We came, girl waitress was friendly and said nothing that we came, we choosed a table, this guy start to say that is reserved, so we took another table. He came to us start to say, we usually accepting customers with bookings only, because these all tables are reserved, so i said okey, we can go somewhere else than. Oh no no! I am here, all good, you sit down here, its ok. So why than you making this as it is such a big deal?? Gives menus to man first not to ladies, talking rude, no manners, pointing with the finger, and tells the same story to every single client who comes for dinner, that oh usually we take people who reserves the tables, but ok, come, i am here, i will sort out, all people looked confused, we stayed two hours and these tables which he said are reserved no one came for reservation there were random people.. We wanted to spend lovely evening but this guy annoyed us, came said, you know this table reserved, so i just said should we go now than, oh no no, stay, i just didnt know that you will be here so long! Really? we bringing money for this restaurant, and this is how you talk..Before coming to this place we checked online, so than maybe write it down: Important info, need to reserve a table! And than will be everything clear. By the way Girls waitresses look scared of him and afraid to do something bad, because he will give out in front of all the customers.

Nice place and good food.

Good food and fairly priced. Had lunch there and background music a bit incongruous with the food and setting in the garden, more suited to their advertised music evenings.

The food they served are really delicious! So far the best food I ever had at Mauritius. I have ordered seafood soup, fried rice, sizzling lamb and calamari with tomato sauce. The ambience is relaxing and romantic. The staff are helpful and excellent service. Definitely a must visit!

Very good food and service. Little bit higher prices as the other restaurants but worth. The restaurant is in a nice garden so you not got disturbed by the road next to it. The Staff is very friendly and motivated. Been there twice and both times been very good. I can recommend the catch of the day.

Nice Place in Flic en Flac for lunch an Dinner. My recommandation "Catch of the Day". Tables not direct at the street. You will find cheaper and more expensive places. We have been there three times and had agood time.

Visited the place for lunch. Had cheese spring rolls and vegetarian fried noodles both were yum.. and Shirleys temple was decent. Good ambience and outdoor seating and prompt service.. not much crowd for lunch time must be busier for dinner.. and they also have an extensive menu for non vegetarian food.

Very cosy place. Food 🍲 was lovely fresh and not Long to Wait either. Staff very friendly. Even booked our cab after the mral. A free Rum and sweets also given to us. Would definitely recommend if you are in Flic En flac not very expensive either.

We enjoyed our dinner here as much as the one at the Hilton, for a fraction of the price! Nice garden setting, great local and international food, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. The Mauritian owner, Stuart, couldnt be more helpful. We had octopus curry, dorado fish, houe wine, creme brulee, and finished off with a cafe Creole (like Irish coffeefor about USD 38. And they have live music on Saturdays. Bus stop 50 metres away. Wish we had discovered it earlier!

Great place to have a meal out in flic en flak. Set in walled garden under the branches of several trees. The atmosphere is serene you are able to carry a conversation without having to talk loudly, there is background music but not so youd notice. The food was great very filling no need to over do it on the side plates. They have a band on Saturday nights which we found very entertaining. The staff were awesome didnt wait long for anything. Great food, great staff, great entertainment and great price. Highly recommend.
