Sunly Restaurant in Panama City

While the restaurant staff was friendly, the food is objectively poor and not worth the price point. The ingredients were not fresh, nor was the food served fresh and hot. The crispy Beijing duck was not crispy and had little flavor, and was barely warm by the time it was served to us. The bowl of hot and sour soup had probably an entire cup of sugar in it. The stir fried greens were wilted and had no flavor. The pei pa tofu was a mix of dough and tofu deep fried in a dirty wok.Hong Kong bakery nearby was a fraction of the price and way more delicious.

Delicious Dim Sum and chinese food in general, is a must have. In Panama, we have a tradition of eat dim sum with our families on sundays, we embrace asian culture as our own, in popular places, there is always a chinese restaurant option for the non-cooking wekends. There is all day Dim Sum, but after certain hour. you must order it from the menu, before that there is a car with all the options, one for soup or "guacho", another for desserts, one for cheung fun and the other one for the classics, they give you something where they anything you ask so can track your order, usually the portions are of 3 or 4 of each one. We love it ¡Enjoy!

Great Dim Sum and fabulous entrees!

Now I see why this place is so popular. It’s sooooo good!! It for sure scratched that dim sum itch that I had. Every bite was soo delicious. I got full so fast. They get a rush around 7 so I would just be prepared for that.

Don’t waste your time and money.I order duck Pekín and got few slices of duck on top of a mountain of lettuce.Fried shrimp wonton was so greasy and all you can taste is the grease poring out.Chow mein canton was also very greasy with few slices of chicken on top and some green leaves.This was the worst restaurant in the country.

I want to caveat that we were a large group, which may had some impact. Food was not fresh, it had cold spots — like when you microwave it. Service was marginal. The seafood (shrimpwas not the freshest - a nose, knows!! We ordered a variety of dishes... from very traditional to very modern - expectations were not met. HOWEVER, those that ordered soups were extremely happy - amazing flavor, presentation and ingredients! Look for other more humble establishments in the area for better quality food, better price and customer service.

Terrible customer service, from start to finish, started from the parking lot attendant and continued throughout the meal until payment. Not recommended.

Premiere Chinese Food. If you are serious on your Cantonese craving stop by. Authentic dishes cooked in the same way as in mainland China. Served with complimentary tea. Recommend Fish with grape leaves.

I will not go back to this restaurant. They advertised breaded fish with French fries. I ordered it to go, in addition to chow mein, fired riced and other dish. When I saw the box with the breaded fish and did not see the French fries, I asked the owners daughter about it. She told me that the Spanish version only says breaded fish. I told her I speak English, and I know the English version said it comes with French fries. I told her that it was a misrepresentation. They refuse to do anything about it. The food was extremely greasy. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!
