Nice sushi, also a modern style of sushi. Prices are on the high side, but not crazy for Norway.

Food was excellent. The beef was to die for. The sushi, drinks just great. Atmosphere and sitting area was really nice. The desert, well only thing i can say, if you are in the area you have to try it. Only comment was towards the end of the night around 22:30 the lights became bright and kind of killed the mood. Closing time is 23:00. A place like this should have it at least 01:00 am but i am sure it has to do with some regulation. A better way was to inform customers that lights will be coming up and closing time approaching to avoid the unpleasant buzz kill surprise. This is the only reason why the place did not get full stars.

At the edge of the harbor this is a trendy lounge-style restaurant. The poke bowls are excellent as is the orange chicken. The sake and wine list are disappointing so I assume this is not where the money is. Clearly cocktail-centric. Poor quality sushi (makirolls.

baos were amazing !! went on an odd hour as service was in rotation but was catered to very well asking our allergies.we wish the poke bowls had more meat as it was mostly rice but the Cheesecake balls was delicious.probably will order the maki and cherry blossom dessert next time ^^

The sushi was one of the best Ive ever tried. Very delicious and very beautifully presented. The waiters are nice and polite. There was a delay with the food but the treated us to a dessert on the house.

I was actually a bit disappointed with this dining experience. The food overall was good (especially the Cambodian cauliflower starterbut the sushi was not the best. The ingredients werent super "fresh tasting" in my opinion which isnt great when eating sushi. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful which was fantastic to see. Additionally, the dessert was really delicious. But overall, I wouldnt recommend this establishment for sushi. Im certain there are better restaurants in Stavanger!

Nice, cozy restaurant with decent sushi & fresh sashimi. We like the salmon & escolar best. The steak has too much sauce overkill though. We Texans are picky about beef!

We tried the deluxe combo for 2 people & “dirty tempura”. Sushi tastes delicious, my favorite is “Ebi Ringo” - with apples inside and strawberries on top ! However, “dirty tempura” didn’t meet the “fusion kitchen” expectations.Overall I would definitely recommend it to a sushi lover, many options to try and surely the super friendly staff will help you if you can’t decide !

A really nice sushi placeWe have visited the place twice and both times we were completely satisfied. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and the service is great. A bit overpriced but considering the Norwegian standards it is OK. Will visit again for sure!

If you want to be left at your table and ignored by the server for long periods then this is the place for you. Food was good, but the when the main memory after is the bad service, it overshadows the meal.

One of my favorite restaurants in Stavanger hands-down!! I love the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant, it is a lovely place to go for a dinner date🥰 The menu has a wide variety of options, especially the sushi menu! There are also a good variety of drinks as wellThe food tastes great and the service Is also impeccable! I would recommend to book for a table online in advance to avoid disappointment of no free tables from walk in.

Not good experienced as I hoped. Was out with my three lovely friends and ordered sushi, got a wrong order and the waiter insisted to us that it was our order, which of course not!... We were told it will be re serve in few minutes, it took almost an hour ...the hunger was gone replaced with disappointment 😕 ...As Asian, we all love sushi but only half was eaten...and we all refused to take it home....

After sumo declining Sultan Hadaddeens right to go to the womens bathroom even after she showed them her ID showing that she was indeed a female is very disappointing. Until they give a proper apology to Sultan, me, my friends and family wont be eating there.

Great vibes and good food. Varied menu. Ordered Dirty Sushi that had a little too voluptuous amounts of sriracha mayo and the waiter was quick to whip up another one. The new dish allowed for all the flavors in the maki to shine without flames and smoke being the main attraction 😊

Bad service, despite being a new employee the server should be familiarisef with what the menu has to offer. When a server has to say "ughhh i dont know i can go ask" 3 times its rather dissapointing and abrupting the experience of going out to an expensive restaurant.I asked the server if there was any servers speaking norwegian and apparently only one server spoke norwegian, really terrible!Someone at our table asked if "this drink is sweet" server says yes after askinh but turns out the drink was sour, the person had to waste 300kr for drinks she did not like, server was not able to cater to her wish with any recommendation or any real information outside the descriptio of the drink in the menu.No pictures in menu so no way og telling how your food looks before ordering and even when looking online it redirects me to a pdf of the same menu i was handed by my table... terrible.Food was served within a reasonable time, however whilst ordering drinks it took at least 10 minutes before arriving. I can understand food taking time to prepare but drinks should be on demand and not on a waiting queue, especially when one is paying 140 kroners a drink and 60% of it is only ice. I know Norway has a limit on serving certain amount of strong liqour per drink but dont water my drink down by drowning it in ice.Vibe is questionable, an attempt at japanese/ feng shui but the result is just uncomfortable seating as norwegians are not used to sitting without back support. A question regarding where to sit and if everyone is ok with no back support would be appreciated.Toilets was very nice, but it seema the restaurant is trying a bit hard, like adding loads of rocks in the sink. There is also a "waterfall" on the way to the bathroom, despite it might looking fancy it was rather dissapointing as it only had one setting and was just constant falling water, waste of water and power if you ask me, the potential is there but wasted.I think the worst thing about the restaurant is how they use real towels, which is great if they did not have an actual garbage can in the restroom. A lot of people in Norway are not used to this kinda thing, here it is mainly hotels using this system. This results in a lot of people throwing away the towels in the garbage can and when i asked the bartender he just confirmed that they just throw away/waste loads of towels usually requiring at least 10 liters of water to produce, TERRIBLE DESIGN!!!i can undertand there being a bin in the womens restroom or in the toilets but if you want guest to throw the towels in the correct place make it more clear or remove the bin... do not hide them under the sink, very hard to notice for a regular norwegian used to putting their expendables in the garbage.Also a server other than our usual came over and i asked her when they close, she says 11, i ask ok but what about drinks? She replies we are too late and we cannot order any more drinks, i ask "so we are just supposed to sit here for 25 minutes without drinks? She then proceed to ask me if there is anything i would like to order, i kindly decline and on her way out i say "but what if there is someone else wanting to order" she says "oh its too late" BAD SERVICE.worst thing is that our server came and asked if we would like anything else AFTER she was there, i said to the waiter that we had been told it was too late, but apparently he said "this was last call"When we were to pay the waiter had no idea or help in how to split the bill. If we order a table for 7 people its obvious some or even everyone is payinh seperatly. We ended up having to calculate everything by ourself off one reciept, when i ask for a copy of reciept he could not give me, when i ask for a menu to calculate it no was given. Menus were removed from table despite having all the drinks and food on there, impossible to browse unless asking for it back.I ask if it would be easier if we were to tell him we would pay seperatly from the beginning if it would make it easier, waiter said it would not change anything, TERRIBLE SYSTEM

I ordered take away for 5 people and the food did not come with any soy sauce, ginger or chop sticks. I called to ask if someone from foodora could bring it since it was not possible for me to go back and pick it up and the girl hung up the phone (she said that it was a busy night and "suddenly she was not able to hear me"and did not take my call again.

319 NOK for “Sushi moriawase”, kind of sushi set as you can see the photo. It was okay quality, but not good enough for its price. Sabi Sushi is much more tasty and cheaper. Although quality of fish was good enough, sushi rice was not reached to proper level. That’s evaluation from native Japanese man. Atmosphere and staff were great.

Went there with my friends,the food was good, Ive been in Sumo before in other City so I was prepared that some of the sushi has mayone on top, not my favourite... Sushi was good, we had as well sushi with duck which was delicious. The service was very poor, first we have waited long time to order than the waiter was collecting our plates whole we were still eating, that was quite uncomfortable.

Tall Ships Races was held in this area last July 23,2018 with bunch of sail ships from deferent part of the world like Russia, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, England, Netherland, and etc. It was awesome experienced with local music and band during in the 70s?

I like this place very much. Great to have a drink outside or diner inside, lounge atmosphere and amazing sushi selection.

Located near city centre, and right by the water. We are 8 ppl and all ordered and shared the black menu, fantastic steamed buns, and the fillings are good too.

So far only one visit but it was a very good one. Service and food was very good, if not great and so was the atmosphere. I was there on a Monday night, it might be more lively the rest of the week.
