Summit Signature Hotel in Yong Peng

Easy access to old town Batu Pahat. Room is spacious but not as hygienic as I wished to be. Stains on the bathroom door. The aircond is ok. Friendly staff and the breakfast is just fine.

Great service by the hotel staff. Located next to The Summit but the mall is already dead. I went during Ramadan, so the breakfast was the sahur time. Amazingly it tasted good & the lot of choices as well for that hour. Great assistance by their staff. Will surely comeback if I happen to come to Batu Pahat again.

3.5 stars. Good bed and aircon. Generally clean. Walking distance to few famous f&b stalls. Next door mall is dead quiet. Breakfast is decent. Appreciate that we could roll bikes into room.

The room is ok for someone who doesnt really expect much.. Its actually comfortable and spacious for the price of Rm120 a night. But unfortunately, I can feel the dust and sand on the floor against my feet so the management should take this into account and make sure the room is vacumed well. Apart from that, everything is good.

Whole hotel interior is old, even the mall is quite. Bedsheets is dirty, toilet is sinking, pillow is holed and cotton come out. The first night is noisy, we even heard upstairs banging and people walking on corridor. Googled this hotel was haunted, but after we prayed in Tian Hou temple located in the town, it seems everything is gone. Not sure it is dead or live things, but Im pretty sure soundproof is bad. Hope the hotel management can look into this seriously.

Somehow this exterior of this hotel seems to have deteriorated over the years. Itll be great to actually repair/renovate them so that customers will have to appetite to stay in. Other than that, the room condition is rather well kept. Service is also acceptable. Parking is a bit scary though if you attempt the multi storey one.

Eventhough the lobby is quite small & the check-in process took a bit too long to process, the room was spacious & clean.

The worse hotel in batu pahat, I stayed only one night then changed to another one.Old furniture and not clean.The only pros I found is the breakfast.

Pretty and comfortable but the food taste bad

The worst hotel I ever stayed. I change the room coz the sink blocked and having bad smell. On the third day staying, the toilet blocked and cant be used. The cafeteria have 4 choices of food for breakfast. The operator do respond our problems. But this hotel is many problem regarding on bathroom and sink. It should not happen.I change room from level 13 to 11.The room level 13 have sterika and ironboard inside the room also have extra pillow. But the room at level 11 doesnt have sterika and ironboard inside the room. There is a room for ironing at level 11. If you want to park your car, its better to park outside rather than inside the building. If you park outside, you can take the lift near the lobby. But if you park inside the building, you need to walk far to take the lift. There are no trolley to lift up your bags.The building really looks old and scary outside, you can say the corridor also scary if you want to walk alone.The room inside is clean and so good to have kiblat label. The tv inside is okay for me, just only for channel 1,2,3,7,8,9 and also astro ria, cinemax (without subs). There also hair dryer and fridge.

Check in and check out procedure goes smoothly. Floor and toilet are clean. But the bedsheet has a lot of stains. Looks like they reuse without washing it. Aircond not very cool but acceptable

It’s ok for a night of business trip.Downside is there is no water dispenser available. Only provided 2 small bottle of water.Overall, I’m having a great sleep……

Spacious room. 2nd time coming to here. Small toilet but it was fine. All their staff are so friendly.

It was okay. Creaky bed, not so clean toilet, basic breakfast buffet. But the staffs are kind and polite, plenty of parking, nice view from the room overlooking to batu pahat town

Ok its been second time i stayed here..the staff hv good attitude n the room spacious wth acceptable cleanliness..sorrounding quite alright wth mall down it anf groceries store not a problem..all in my budget..

Place is unhygienic, from the looks it may be clean but its actually very unclean. One day stating here already get sick. The aircond is also bad as it was broken in the middle of the night. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone

The room is quite spacious but it feels dated with aging furnitures. Cleanliness can be better. The echo of people talking and walking along the corridor is so loud you can hear it in my room. Breakfast is ok. Parking us free.

Large room with new furniture, cleanliness is quite good..unfortunately have strong cigarette smell... two power sources which is near to the bed are not functioning...the hotel building is attached to mall, however the mall (the summitis already old.. hopefully the summit can do some transformation to make their mall great again...

Not as expected as the other Summit Hotel at USJ. Lobby is small and a bit hidden. Room is okay, big enough, equiped with safebox, clean but no fridge provided. The water pressure is very low not enjoyable for shower. Some tv channel especially from astro is poor in video quality. Breakfast provided starting on 7am but when we came on 7.10 they are not prepared yet. Have to wait about 15 min for buffet ready. Well cant complaint much because the price is very cheap, around rm 86 per room including breakfast is a bargain.

Bed linen given was stained, toilet bowl not washed properly. Aircond making lots of noise and dripping water throughout the night. Better to pay more to stay at other hotel.

Its a nice place to stay with the cheapest room rate but i had to give 3 star because its lack of parking space and meals for the breakfast is not so nice to have.

This hotel is terribly maintained. The room had a strong cigarette smell when we checked in. The floor and the bathroom were dirty like they’d never been mopped or scrubbed before.The sheets were clean though. But not perfect clean, just tolarable. The two stars only go to the friendly and helpful staff.

Had a great moment here, the room was clean, spacious room. I choose King Executive room, its affordable. But the toilet was small. The breakfast not bad, but not so impressed.

Stayed for one night during raya. Overall average. Not so bad for rm100+/night. It just if you come as a couple, bring xtra pillow, if u would like to. They just give 2. When asked for extra, the reception said "habis".

Spacious and comfortable room, good shower and toilet. Cleanliness can be improved: cups and floor not very clean. Complimentary breakfast will be better if food is less spicy or provide choice of non spicy food

Clean room, good view on this township from the room window, breakfast decent, price absolutely reasonable & the staff friendliness & fluency in English worth a good mention. The only downside is probably the aircond not cold enough as the room is quite spacious for the single aircond to cool it down.

Got distracted by Majlis Agama Johor. Making a lot of noises in the middle of the night. Truly inappropriate causing troubles to our office partners suspecting them to be in a room with different gender. This not what Islam teach and far from morality. Actually no one got caught because nothing happened at the first place. Totally disgrace.

The hotel room is very spacious and nice for the price paid. The only sad thing is this is a very ancient mall and not many shop around.

location just ok. service good. but the room facility is need to improve especially the pillow (too soft and only provide 1pcand water heater (not working).

One of the worst hotel I ever stay. Pillows are too soft and low quality just like 10 bucks sold outside. Water flow in toilet basin is really slow and hardly to wash face and brush teeth. Breakfast is just bad. Asking for extra pillow they need to charge you 5 bucks for one. Extra bed is 60 bucks per night. Too expensive.

Good clean rooms. Very reasonable prices. If u r looking for a place to sleep, good choice. But, breakfast is not something I would look forward to here.

Decent hotel for decent price at small town Batu Pahat. Rooms are clean and sheets smell fresh and extremely clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable too. Room is spacious with simple amenities - coffee, mineral water, toothbrush and toothpaste, toiletries with a heated shower provided. Check in was a breeze, the front desk officer was helpful and friendly. Did not try the breakfast although it was included in the room rate.Definitely a good place for a night stay when visiting here.Free carpark available, they have a security officer guarding the parking area. It is connected to mall (but its a dead mall), but location wise it is located near town and easy to navigate and find food nearby.

Clean and reasonable price hotel. The breakfast could be better to add some anchovy in the menu to serve with nasi lemak and plain porridge. Their plain porridge was ONLY served with chaipor. Nasi lemak was only plain sambal, hard-boil egg and cucumber. Very lean. The salad only one bowl with old and dried out carrots, and lots of fruits flies.

Great servicing from the hotel staffs! It was welcoming. Good sight from the hotel, can view whole Batu Pahat, well catered area surrounding the hotel.

The hotel room is spacious even for superior room. Breakfast choices are great, with comfy dining rooms which there is a space for the smokers. Conference room is good, which may allocate spaces for more than 100 people. Few restaurants are available nearby, and closed to Mee Racun

Poor maintenance. No hanger, toothbrush& toothpaste, slipper, laundry bag. Aircond not cold. WiFi unable to log in. Get refill water bottles but have to pay RM2 for 1 bottle. Front desk does not provide newspaper.

The room was equipped with all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay with the exception of one drinking cup that was stained. The buffet breakfast was ludicrous- it was limited in both variety and quality.

A strictly budget hotel at most with an almost non-existent buffet breakfast, although breakfast was supposed to be 7-10am, imagine my surprise when I was there at 8.45am. Thought I will just have coffee then, but the coffee was horrible.If you dont mind not having clothes hangers, toothbrush and toothpaste, pay RM$5 for a 2nd pillow, a room safe that cannot be used, then your stay will be bearable.The only saving grace about my stay was the pleasant check-in and check-out.

Second time at Summit Signature Hotel. This time, I booked the Deluxe Twin. Room was clean and quite spacious. Love the view from the room; they are the tallest building in the vicinity and hence offer unblocked view of Batu Pahat. Only downside was the room appeared to be smoking room and there was faint smell coming from neighbour who also allowed young kids to roam corridor and lobby while yelling at top of their voices. This was out of hotels control of course. Breakfast tge first morning was good but second day Only so-so, suggesting somewhat inconsistent quality. Would suggest exploring the area for local breakfast.

Limited parking. Food is good and room is quite spacious. Wifi is also good, was able to stream with it. Room cleanliness might need improvement. 2nd room we got here has small cockroachers roaming around.
