Great lookout if your driving around but not to head there as a destination. Shorty walk from the parking. Apparently the whole forest you will see on the opposite mountain will be forested in the next couple of years!!

A nice lookout with one picnic table .. view of the Arthur river . Very quiet and nice place . No other facilities in the place . Very short 5 mins walk to the lookout from car park

Beautiful stop if you are doing the Tarkine Scenic Drive. It is nice and so peaceful. You cam even bring your picnic as there is a picnic table with the breathtaking view

I think it would be better after a bit of rain, but a nice view over a small section of the Arthur river all the same. Not really worth going out of your way for, but ok if youre passing by.

The Sumac Lookout is worth a stop, but dont expect to spend more than five or ten minutes there. The lookout is located immediately behind the parking area, and I didnt see any tracks leading through the bush. The view down to the Arthur River is interesting, but not especially inspiring. In fact, I found it more interesting to stop down below at the bridge over the Arthur River. It is worth noting that the impressive wooden "Sumac Lookout" sign is carved from a single giant log - a masterpiece of the chainsaw sculptors art.

A 30 Second to 1 min slight decline walk to a lookout ledge, with a bbq table, Beautiful Views of the river, & when leaving there is a huge wooden signed chiseled out with the Sunmac Lookout engraved into it, with a Nation Parks Info Sign, worth a Picture or Video.

Great view, right on the edge of the road so easily accessible and has a park bench so we took lunch with us. No rubbish bins so plan to take all rubbish with you.
