Relaxed hotel restaurant serving dinner & buffet lunch inspired by regional Indian specialties.
Ambience is very good. Clicking pictures would be fun there.Taste is okay (not too good and not bad as wellbut rates are too good there (i mean on higher levels only).Service is good though! Can prefer to go once!
Buffet in Sultan of spice is very good. Wide variety of food spreads. It has good veg and non veg starters.Nothing special in main course. It varies from person to persons taste. It has wide variety of deserts. Deserts spread is good. If you are planning for team lunch or family gatherings this is the place. It is better to reserve seats before going.Overall its value for money. One should try here.If you feel this review is helpful, share and like. So it motivates to write more reviews
I had been here with my family. It has a great ambiance. I think the images speak for themselves. Desserts were mooth-watering. 😋
The food is such a very tasty and the staff behavior is also very good. You have to visit at least one in this restaurant and one person whose name is viswajeet he is such a very good human being and trying and solve the situation at any time he has managed the babys food also. Thank you
Good place for fine dining with family and friends.Best service.Good taste.Options are less in the menu but food prep is good.
Good place for team outing. Food were delicious .
The food was okayish, they were always out of stock, refills were not tasty. The staff is rude. They do not accommodate any changes - jo hai yahi milega - this is how they respond. They should work on their hospitality.
Nice ambiance cosi seating. Good food. Everything is good except the one thing is medium spicy curry has sweetness so that should be asked at the time of taking order whether u want sweetness or not.
Service is really good. Taste is not worth the high cost. The ambience is good.
Excellent food.. A treat for taste buds.. Also very good service by the staff. Delighted....
We had an amazing family lunch experience. Great variety and taste of food, beautiful ambience and awesome service by Mr. Swapan. Would definitely come back again!
Love this place and food . Dont forget to try their signature dish Tikka Rasmonak. The biryani is better than any other place..
Decent food.Quality is good.Quantity is good too.Service is a little slow. Try not to sit around the corners you will have hard time finding the staff. Before ordering any dish, please check with the staff first as the preparation might differ.
Best place for North Indians. Possibly the tastiest food I have had in Bangalore so far.The aroma of the dishes worked as appetizer. The staff was really polite and ambience was up to the mark.
Food was good. But the only thing I didnt like that they dont have much options in Chicken items. They dont serve Chinese cuisine. They took a hell lot of time to serve Ice cream n Oreo Milk Shake.
Would have been 5 star, if service was faster. But i would recommend that one should try this restaurant at least once. Good for going with family and friends. Non veg is literally good and Veg ones are awesome too. Great Ambience, friendly staff.
Space is specious.Food quality is good if you are non vegetarian.Recommend to go early for lunch time.Post 1:30 pm there will be a waiting period for about 10 to 20 minQuality of food : 8/10Quantity per price : 7/10Ambient: 6/10Service : 8/10They have some good mocktile.Liquior is served here.
It was one of my worst experience at a restaurant. The service was so bad. They didnt care to take the order nor serve the items we ordered until we ask, one time he forgot that we even ordered. But at the same time, i saw them serve properly for the North Indian people. I felt discrimination. Maybe coz I wasnt speaking in Hindi or coz I am from south. The table next to us had 2-3 waiters standing ryt at the table.Food- averageService- badAmbiance - only thing that was good.
Non veg platter is Rs.1050 (6 pieces of chicken of 2 varieties + mutton 3 pieces+ fish 3 pieces + small prawn piecesall are very small pieces. I personally feel instead someone can go for buffet. Every time you order they will take minimum of 25-30 min. Upon asking why so much time, came to know they have to serve even for 40 hotel rooms(hotel blue petal). At least near the reception in the ground floor you will feel lot of foul smell which we found near the lodge. Even there is no separate hand wash in the resturant. Overall I dont feel its a good option to whatever we pay. Taste wise its OK OK..
Ambience and service was up to markFood was averageShould totally try it
Decent ambience, ideal for family dining. Good dinner buffet with a lot of options to choose from. Could do with a decor upgrade and bigger washrooms.
Very good food, nice ambiance
Visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The ambience is good, has a nice feel to it.Food taste was good overall, however there are limited options in Vegetarian. The service was below par (nobody attended the table promptly, delay in getting the order and not clearing the table before desserts inspite of repeated request), could be due to Sunday rush.
A good restaurant with good ambience. Waiter with smiling face but slow service. Options of eatables are many. Asked for five tomato shorba, they provide the same but very little quantity in each bowls. May be we were late and they served the leftover in their utensils.
Had lunch at sultans of spice. Their starters were good along with the main course. Their dessert spread was not that great but the welcome drink session was awesome. The food quantity was good enough for 3 persons. They have variety of Breads to satisfy your taste buds. We wanted to try their buffet but then we chose to do Ala Carte. Pretty decent and filling. The staff were courteous and kind. Please book your table in advance. We tried their number it was out of order. It is located very close to city and if you want to stay hotel Blue Petal is in the same property
Superb food and very well behaved waiters.Utla tawa ka paratha is must try.Lots of option both in veg n non veg.
The ambience and the taste of every food in non veg buffet is excellent...there are courteous staff and cooperative also. We enjoyed a lot.. There are lot of varieties in menu. Must visit the place any weekend.
Relatively Quiet on weekdays, ambience is good. Can tell it would be bustling in the weekends. Waiters were well behaved and efficient as well. Portion sizes were very good for 2 heavy eaters or 3 adults. Would definitely go again. Prices of dishes was just right. Cant go wrong with their mughal chicken biryani and butter chicken along with butter naan
One of the best buffet I have had this date. They have so many dishes in starters- main course - desserts.Of course, you have an option to select VEG or NON VEG buffet. I took non veg and got to taste the veg items as well(advantage in all the buffets😂).I personally loved the each and every starters: prawns, fish, chicken(3-4 varieties), mutton seekh kabab, beetroot kabab, mushroom, crispy corn, veg wanton, paneer, etc.In main course, the mustard honey fish was amazing. Well they have a lot more in main course. Dessert was yum as well. There was one best part which was CHAAT. I cant tell you how incredible the taste was. The amount of ingredients used was just perfect for the taste. They have dumplings, rolls counter as well which is included in the buffets.MUST TRY!!!
Would recommend for a classic niche Dine in. Service is too good and considerable. The starters stood high as a tasty dum Tak. Must try Tandoori Chicken. Had tried Mughal chicken Biryani, the recipe, flavour, chicken taste are enormous. Good to go for corporate lunch, dinner or family gatherings. Located in JNC road heart of Koramangala. The road is narrow and for car parking the valets will help you out on that. Weekends would be rush. If you can grab your seat before 1o clock its well and good.
The Buffet spread is awesome. You can find almost everything in the menu. Delicious food. Valet parking service was also great.
The place is well lit up and spacious. Seating is luxurious to say the least. Coming to the food, the non-vegetarian buffet has alot of variety and tastes good too. The starters which included Cauliflower Kebab and Mutton Seekh was something I really enjoyed and the prawns were cooked to perfection.Pricing was decent and the service was excellent. If you like variety in your meal, then this is the place to go too.
I visited this place last week, things have changed from my last visit before pandemic. Major change is if you book a table for buffet it will be be served in ground floor - Buf buf buffet floor.Taste vise good food. Less option for vegitarian.Literally you can count them. Not more than 5 options.Good ambience.Ground floor - not spacious.Best part I liked is Live Kitchen.Veg and non veg sliders, Pizza, pasta and chats are a must try.
Sultans of spice used to be my favourite North Indian restaurant for its amazing dum aloo and soft, fluffy parathas. The rumali rotis used to be pretty good too. The food is a little pricey, but in line with the posh ambience and good service. The biryanis are decent, but seemed a little overspiced. The stuffed parathas are generally very soft and fluffy. But, after subsequent visits, I noticed changes in taste and quality of birth gravies and breads. Dum aloo was completely disappointing as the gravy tasted bad and aloos were not done up to the mark. Paneer dishes were not that good either. The service seems have to gotten a little worse too. This place is still a good choice for North Indian food, and is in a very dense, but walkable neighborhood in Koramangala.
A great place for food in koramangla. Authentic food ,delicious taste and awesome ambiance.Pocket friendly price and excellent service.Must visit place for Team lunch and family party.
Beautiful ambience. Amazing service and courtesy by Staff. Taste was excellent too.Music was mild and good. Loved their guava jackpot mocktail. Seating was comfy. Lighting was mild , not scorching..Overall very good experience. Surely will visit again for trying more varities..Add ons : ajwain sticks , lizzat papad , jal paan , some mouth freshners which aids digestion.
Lovely restaurant for your North Indian food cravings. Arguably the best butter chicken I have had in Bangalore. Also an absolutely smashing Murgh Musallam. The service is top notch and the decor is aesthetic. Thumbs up to their executive chef, Mr Rakesh Kumar Chaturvedi, who personally visits tables and is a great guy to talk to. Had a lovely dining experience and will be back to Sultans of Spice again.
I honestly didnt like it. I am a person who introduces to others as pure non vegetarian but I literally hated the food here. Briyani is nothing but boiled chicken in colored rice. And I think they used too much soda in there food I was thirsty for a day and my tongue was numb.I ate raw tomato and onion that was the only tasty food there(Ps: there are good hotel with better price near by go there)
Starters do have lot of variety, main course limited to 2-3. Very appreciable efforts by staff and the managers personal visit to the table was an other level, never felt unattended, very polite and humble. Cleanliness is maintained. Desserts end up soon. Interior is good and give a calm feel. Parking space is issue in weekends. Payment is via cash, card and UPI.
Good ambience; even better istheservice. They give you welcome drinks- aampanna and paan shots after you have done eating. The variety in food is also really nice. Worth visiting!!
The food is very good and service top notch. Though the items offered are less as compared to other buffet places, there is no compromise on the taste and service. It was humbling when the Chef himself came out to ask us about the food n service.Would love to visit here once again. They are open now post lockdown.Non veg buffet will cost you 620/- Inc taxes.Veg approx 100 less.
Visited the place but was not much happy with the taste of food, veg I did not find anything good buy non-veg , mutton rada was the best of what we had. That is top notch but apart from that I did not like chicken starters or main course. Rum chicken starter was good not that great
Absolutely loved the ambience. You get your own private dining area, there are open ones too.I had prawn and crab meat soup and its easily one of the best seafood soups Ive ever had. The taste was perfect and the texture was creamy. Would definitely suggest to a seafood lover. Also tried the non veg platter, which had an assortment of kebabs. Seekh kebabs were the best ones.Biryani is something Id not suggest from here, cause I found it a little sweet.Had a good experience overall.
A wonderful dining experience. The starters were scrumptious, both veg and non veg... The corn and nuts one, chilli pineapple, prawns fry etc were real standouts..the mocktails were really good and the red ripple etc were excellent..the buffet spread had enough to croon about in taste and variety.. the desserts were awesome.. ambience was good and so was the service ..
When you are looking out for a peaceful lunch or dinner during a weekend where most of the place is overcrowded with loads of sound, this is the place to be. It serves only north indian cuisines in buffet. The taste of starters and desserts are awesome. The staff is very courteous and they will serve you items which are even not in menu on request. It is having live counter as well. The price for dinner veg as well as non veg is 888 per head inclusive of all the taxes.P.S Ambience can be improved further.
We went there for week-end lunch, three families and all of them enjoyed the food including the Veg & Non-veg. There are lot of varieties in Veg & Non-veg starters and the main interesting was huge number of options in Starters as well as Desserts. As soon as we entered we were welcomed by the welcome drink and then later the starters kept on going until and unless we asked them to stop. You have Live counter here which will serves varieties of Chaats as well as Desserts like Raabdi Jilebi etc that are really mouth watering. The ambiance was very good and attractive as well as the main thing is Service by the whole staff of this restaurant are very courteous and they serves you food with smile which will make you feel so pleasant. We had full of starters, limited main course and enjoyed huge options in Desserts and fruits. So, it was very very heavy lunch for us. Overall best option to try and have heavy lunch here.
A La Carte review:Went and tried stuff from the menu this time and boy, I had THE BEST mutton starter EVER!!! It was called PALAK GOSHT TAWA ROLL. Trust me, u guys must try this. Super good seekh kebab rolled in Palak and dipped in a cream that was so yumm! Other favourites were Bangkok to Bhatinda chicken Thai starter and a mushroom dish called Tikka Rasmonak.Apart from the same Mutton Biriyani, roti and mutton rogan josh, this time, the jalebi was FANTASTIC. Soo thin n crispy that I feel like eating more right now 😢Special thanks to Chef Sourav and Sameer for the excellent support in making me enjoy my lunch🙏🏼❤️Buffet Review: Went with family for their lunch buffet and more than me, my parents were really happy. We had a good time as the staff were very welcoming and friendly, food was good too.I cannot recollect the names as it’s been a week but the Prawns starter, Butter Chicken pav, Kheema paratha (more like kheem phulkaPapadi chaat, Soft kulchas and mutton gravy was superb 👌🏼 The meat in the curry were oddly satisfying coz few of the pieces were tender and easy to eat while the other pieces were tight and not enjoyable. Spoke to the chef who was more than willing to reach out to the vendors as this complaint was brought earlier as well. Hopefully, that has changed. He gave me a Chocolate Pani Puri on the house to make sure we did not leave disappointed. Great stuff. Thank you guys. The reason behind not giving 5 is coz the Biriyani lacked flavour and the Mutton piece in the curry, the Appam wasn’t even close to what the actual Appam is and the Rasgullas were slightly hard. Apart from that, everything is good here.
Good restaurant with calming ambience. You wont find huge varieties in buffet, but whatever is served tastes amazing. Right from the starters to the desert. They have good no of starters to be served which also tastes good. Good seatings available for large set of people to couple. The servers were attentive and were taking feedbacks regarding the tastes which gives confidence that they care about what we eat. However for starters they could introduce few sauces
Went here for corporate lunch with my office team. The buffet is one of the best I have tried in a long time. Their service is really good. They have a huge variety of starters even for vegetarians unlike other places. You can enjoy more drinks as they provide 2+2 drinks on ZOMATO gold.Follow my food blog @mad.over.f00d on Instagram
Nice place. Good ambiance. Delicious food except soup (buffet).1chicken starter, 1 mutton starter, 1 egg starter, 2fish starters for non vegetarians in buffet.Best avadhi chicken Biryani and absolutely delicious Butter chicken.
