Every time I go, the prices are never displayed. When I go to pay, the price is different every single time. Just went in, had to wait almost 15 mins for my food. One worker doing food, the other cleaning with 5 people waiting in line. They then argue with my sister in law, who ordered smaller meals than me, but was being charged over $6 more than me. Then asked to see my food back as maybe they forgot to charge for my fries. There is never an itemized receipt so nothing for them to look at and see if they missed something. Went home with cold fries, and wont be returning. Do yourself a favor, save the headache and eat elsewhere

I’m not sure if this place has gotten worse or the other places around are just better. Pretty bland, dry meat and a bit pricey.

Downhill Donair. Used to be great, now it is inconsistent and noticeably lower attention to detail and quality.

Awful food. I ordered chicken plate. What they gave me was some rice + chicken and some sauce. No veggies, no hommos. Too plain, dry and tasteless.This is not a genuine Donair place. will never eat there again.

Very poor manners and horrible customer service.The meat is not cooked properly and is super cold so I asked to grill it more on the oven so its cooked properly and they say they dont do that even though another time another staff had done it for me.They were just lazy and rude.Then they gossip in front of a customer.Then charged an extra $4 for sauce on top of fries which is a ripoff.This place is a joke dont waste your time and money here.

We’ve been ordering take out from there for a couple of years and the food is mostly very good. Service has always been good but I have to agree with some reviewers, sometimes, the chicken is dry or the flavours are a bit off, or sometimes the donair has the meat or sauce all in one spot, which makes it hard to appreciate. But mostly, it’s great.

This place is really doing down hill. Got the chicken donair and it was dry and tasteless. Not what it used to be. Overpriced and flavourless.

Extremely unprofessional. Lettuce was brown and looked very old, not something people should consume. Food inspector should check this place out, also they don’t allow washroom access to clients who are giving them business due to covid… after I asked again, they said it wasn’t working which is very sneaky.

Don’t get me wrong… their food is great but watch out for the portion they give for sultan size platter. If you’ve been to this place plenty of times and have ordered sultan sized platter you will know the actual portion of a sultan and today the lady tried to give me regular portion on a sultan size platter. The platter is not even filled with rice. The worker there said “some worker give more meat for sultan which a mistake”…. Which is misleading to customers because of portion inconsistency.

This place is amazing. I was looking for a place where I could eat a keto donair (replacing carbs from bread with a salad with donair beef on top), I tried a few places in Coquitlam and what I got was absolute rubbish. Finally tried the caesar salad and meat dish from Sultans and it was amazing, totally satisfies a craving for donair while still not breaking my diet.The portions are very generous and the salad, sauces and meat all blend in perfectly. I would recommend to the restaurant owner to name this dish a Keto Friendly dish, as there are many people like me who are looking for something like this and cant find it.

This place used to be great … the best even but it’s gone down hill in the last few months. It used to be our go to for donairs because of flavour and customer service. The chicken is dry and sauces lack flavour. I’ve asked for extra spicy sauce but even that doesn’t help. It’s become overpriced and the staff are unfriendly. Too bad :( definitely won’t be coming back anymore

Worst Donair Ive ever had. Chicken was dry and had no taste. When I told the lady that the chicken looked dry she was like its crispy. I will never go back again and you shouldnt either. Overpriced too

Picked up a sultans platter which is usually excellent but this time I the rice was either undercooked or had been cooked earlier and was actually hard. Called to let them know and the response I got was "what should I do". Not sure if I will be back...

Very hard to find the prices of items! I even asked if they had a takeout menu I could look at so I could see breakdownof items and prices, but NO. So I had to ask the price.of a falafel sandwich. Ridiculous. Prices should be clearly displayed. MENU with clear pricing is a basic thing you need to find in a restaurant! No? Falafel was OK. But girls working there seemed bored and disinterested. I probably wont go back.

Awful customer service. I was there tonight with my 2 years daughter and my husband for dinner. When I asked for a small container for my daughters food, the lady hesitated a lot and had attitude saying they are not free. I cant give you containar( She gave it to me finally)!!!Then I saw a hair in my sandwich, although I was not satisfied with their services and she already gave me attitude, I didnt want to make a big deal of it and waited for the other two clients to leave and then I went to her to tell her there was a hair in my food. As soon as I told her, she turned back and walked away and answered  me back rudely: "It happens. leave your tray there on your way out" .Then I said, I understand that it might happen but at least you can apologize,  she was very rude again and insulted me. This lady was a tall persian lady who had Tattoo. her name was Shirin.She was so rude to me, when I told her, when you do business in Canada we as clients are expecting you to follow  a  Canadian standard to offer services. she answered me back, we do offer a good customer service to Canadian but not to you as a Persian client, I got shocked and left the restaurant.I will never go there again and Im pretty sure their business will not survive if they continue to provide such an awful customer service.

Was in the area and seen donair so went in. Lovely ladys that work there awesome tender chicken with lots of flavor love the rice i got the chicken plate. I defiantly come back if i was in the area again.

First time here, as happened to be in the area. Standard menu items, but they do offer three "sizes" of donairs. Tried the mid-sized "super" lamb, and they really loaded up the meat! Its almost twice the amount of most regular sized donairs, for just a dollar more. Not sure how the largest "sultan" size would look, but they do give an extra pita with that one apparently.The flavor is a little bland on the meat and sauce, but I did get it without hot sauce so maybe it does require that extra kick for taste.They have different daily specials, but I had to remind them of this at checkout. Tuesday was just a free pop or chips with a super or Sultan donair.

Awful service. We ordered from SkipTheDishes tonight and they forgot our fries and the toppings on both our donairs. We literally ordered 3 items and they got every single one wrong. The chicken donair was so bland I ended up spitting out my second bite and going to bed hungry instead. This is the second time we’ve ordered from them and they’ve forgotten the fries too. Will never be ordering from here again.

While the food is good, this place needs to be shut down for not following health authority protocols for COVID . They barely put on any mask and when they do , their mask is just for show off and is not covering mouth properly. Very reckless and irresponsible team who act like this.

I have come here for a long time and always love their donairs. However, I just had a very unpleasant service from one of the staff making my donair. She was cutting the meat with no gloves on, cut her right thumb and was bleeding a little bit and then proceeded to put gloves on to make the donair. When she finished she slapped it on the top counter without fully wrapping it. Very unsanitary especially during COVID. The donair tasted great and I didn’t say anything because I’m too much of a chicken sometimes to speak up but they really need to fix their level of service.

I went and bought two donairs both chicken and both Hawaiian one was regular and the other was super...both were exactly the same weight....way to go maybe a measurement of some sort and not just eyeballing...wad disappointed. I liked it when the previous ladies were there. Always happy and friendly and knew how to make donairs...also chicken was really dry and hit sauce was no where near hot...i went home and added my own hot sauce. Dont think ill be back!

I had high hopes with this place after it was recommended by neighbours in Klahanie. After trying their rice with lamb donair, over the weekend... I am not going back. The rice wasnt great. Hard, like theyve been sitting for the longest of time. I ordered extra lamb donair meat and regretted this. They were roughly cut, dry and barely had any taste to them. Sadly, my search for a good donair place in the Port Moody / Coquitlam area continues

I love this place. Been coming here for 9 years, and no matter how far I move or travel I always come back. They really are the best and can not be beat.

I got a regular beef donair. The pita was very fresh and the serving size was generous. The meat was tender but I found it very salty. The garlic sauce wasnt as flavourful as I expected. Also no turnip pickles, which is personal preference, but made me sad :(

This donair shop was as I had expected it to be, clean and simple. I read another review which suggested to try their supreme chicken. It wasnt the greatest however the chicken was flavorful, a little dry but tasty. I would give it another go and perhaps try the lamb next time. The ladies working the front were polite.

Donair’s kinda dry, meaning you can’t really taste the sauces for all you Donair lovers who know what I’m talking about. Platters are good. But yeah donairs are not terrible I’m just saying I’ve tasted better

We looked up reviews for Donair restaurants since we were in the mood for something different. This restaurant had many great reviews so we decided to try it. The server was friendly but did not seem familiar with the menu. The Donair and falafel was very tasty. The Greek salad was very small but tasted great. The lamb and beef was dry. We feel that we were over charged, when we brought it up they ignored us. We may be back to try it again

Well we were on the search for a good Donair in our area, huge fan of Donair Dude so the bar is already high.We had checked out a couple places around Coquitlam Center and nothing was jumping out.Did a quick google search and Sultan’s Donair popped up, why not?From the moment we arrived the place had a good clean and home kinda fell to it. The dinning are isn’t large however the place was very well kept and even decorated with a sense of humour.The woman there were welcoming, happy and attentive.The menu is quite simple with great options, including Tuna!!I do enjoy the large Donair, so I went Sultan size, I was not disappointed!Yes, Sultan’s Donair is comparable to Donair Dude!I will be returning,... after my diet 😐😉

Had amazing donair here, the price is pretty good for how much you get. I went with the smallest size (Regularand it was more than enough for me! Definitely will be back. The staff are super nice too!

We had donair last night. Super dry meat, no flavour or taste. At 8:30 pm meat seems to be hours old.Sad to see quality is gone down like this. For the price they charge they should rethink about the quality of their subs. Not recommended at all.

I was helping my daughter paint on Saturday. We decided to have donairs for lunch. So she went to Sultans to get takeout. I got the lamb super size it was huge and really really good. Lots of meat and lots of veg, a perfect balance. I have had many donairs from various shops but I have to say this was by far the best I have had. Thank you Sultans

It may look like your average fast food joint in the neighbourhood, but Sultan Donair is anything but!I wandered in with two friends on a Friday evening, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of donair. The restaurant had a lot of customers and they were busy, but we managed to snag some scrumptious donairs.

I just dont know where the good reviews are coming from, did we go to the same place? This is the CHEAPEST (read: lack of toppings, not pricedonair place I have ever been to. The others in this city, New West, DT, all offer about double the meat/ingredients for the same price. Everything here is an extra charge.You can have pita and lettuce, and lots of it, anything else you pay.Its not a problem with taste, its a problem with ratio and portions. I dont want 1 bite of chicken every 3-4 bites of my pita.

Donairs at this location are very good. The Platters are also very good and that is usually my go to. The staff are always very nice and i come here often. The only reason its not a 5 star review is because i have been a few times and asked to sub out tzatziki for more greek salad and have either been charged extra or instead they dont give me pita. I always do this substitution and usually its not an issue but depending who is working sometimes they might make it a big deal. Still a good place to eat and i will continue to frequent this establishment.

I have been coming for years and have never really had any problems. Then tonight the chicken was so over cooked it was like rock candy. I’m confused because you can clearly see with your eye how bad it is.Sorry to say this will be my last visit as so many other places offer better food. And you should be ashamed of serving this to customers. ;(

i have tried a few other donair places. but this is hands down my go to and no other place has even compared. their platters are great and the rice is really addictive. their regular donairs are huge and they are very generous with their meat and vegetables which are all quality and fresh. and if youre in a mood for a salad they make great greek salads and for 4 bucks you get a lot of bang fr your buck as again they are very generous with their servings and their vinaigrette is very tasty. if you are thinking about trying this place out dont even hesitate.

Have been to Sultans many times and the experience varies every time. One time the chicken is good and enough sauce is put on and next time the chicken even after requesting it not be dried out is like leather. Then the amount of sauce is not enough to help the dried out meat. Staff is never the same and consistency is non existent. I won’t go back again and don’t recommend. The hummus sometimes is like water ! What can I say go somewhere else for a better meal.

At 5pm today July 22nd 2018 I ordered 1 large fries and 2 don airs and she charged me for 2 large fries. Personally I believe most people will let that go and not notice but I caught it and questioned her and she said sorry and fixed the total price. this is not acceptable for making mistakes like that. the fries I ordered was half full as she grabbed the frozen bag from the fridge and emptied it to the fryer. I dont believe it was the full quantity to make a large fries. she just put the fries to fry it and not added any extra fries so it can complete the full large fries. at the end I got 2 good kebabs and a half full packaged fries.

Great food, clean restaurant. Great portions and fair prices. Very satisfied and will definitely be coming back.My only complaint: the cutlery is too small. Each bite I take feels like its for a babies mouth. Give us real forks!

Been here several times and one of the best donair places around. Very tasty and food is late in portion. I highly recommend.

It was OK. I had a caesar salad thing, but it was drenched in sauce. Didnt get much meat for ten bucks. The place has ample seating and it all seemed fairly clean. The prices on the board were fair. I would stick to the donairs and ask them to hold back on the sauce a little bit.

Clean, friendly and delicious. This place is run better than some established sit in restaurants, the girls there are always cleaning something and it is refreshing to see. The entire place is kept well and the staff are typically friendly. Portions are good in my opinion if you want more order more. Good Baklava and reasonably priced. Havent been to any better donair places locally.

We pick up here every few weeks and the quality is not bad and consistent. Could have a better selection of drinks.

Great donairs, horrible customer service. Last time I was there I saw a man with his 2 kids trying to get a refund because he said his chicken and rice platter tasted "off". They refused to do anything for him yelling at him "we arent Walmart or Superstore, you cant just come back and return things." They also told him "if you dont like our food then go somewhere else and dont come back here". Absolutely horrible display of customer service. I still bought my food because the donairs are good but Ill think twice about going back next time.

A pretty solid place. The rice and salad were excellent and the donair meat was in very large chunks, which was a different but not unenjoyable experience. Hummous was lackluster and prices seem just a bit high.

This used to be a great place but since the owners sold it a few years ago, it went down the hole. The meat is usually over cooked and always cold. The service is horrible, I waited in line for quite a while and when it was my turn, they just started helping the person behind me like I was invisible. Even tho I would have loved to yell at them, I just left and Ill never come back again. This isnt my first bad experience, last time I was here, I asked for the largest size they have and paid for it but it was more like a regular size. There is a much better place in Poco on shaughnessy right beside Mostly music. Friendly staff and great prices. The food was really good.
