Sukoshi Charlotte - Sushi restaurant in Charlotte, United States
Sukoshi Charlotte in Charlotte
Description
Privilege
Very good sushi at a good price.Stopped here in our lunch break and grabbed two trays of sushi that were really good.
MoreGreat lunch spot for quick, fresh sushi
Delicious sushi but portions are way too small for the price. Super hip atmosphere, very tiny place.
MoreExceptional!!!!Staff was magnificent y attentive to my allergy needs.Food was DELISH y affordable.Decor was appealing
MoreCute little sushi place but the menu items are double the price of other sushi places that are located uptown.
MoreOverall I was not impressed with Sukoshi. While the restaurant is very nice as well as the staff, the sushi itself left much to desire. I ordered the mermaid roll alongside a salmon and avacado roll. Both rolls were primarily rice with the tiniest sliver of meat inside and other ingredients. I understand that the prices are reasonable, so I dont believe my expectations were too high. Maybe I was just unlucky, but Id have rather paid for grocery store sushi. I will not be going back.
MoreIf you have ever walked by Sukoshi Charlotte and not made it inside you are doing yourself a disservice. This place is absolutely amazing on the inside. The interior design is very warm and inviting. They have done an amazing job branding this company with a clever line of merch and a menu that is so cool that it looks like a work of art.
Morethe sushi and seaweed salad were delicious!!
Simple but Savory...Clean and Efficient...treated handsomely from the time I walked in until the time I rolled out (stuffed so good with excellent sushi)!!!
MoreSushi was ok, but the price was a ripoff, they gave you 4 pieces of sushi for prices between $10-14. It was nothing special tbh and the wait time during lunch hour was 30 minutes, i guess you should get the bowl, but avoid paying 10-14 bucks for the 4 piece roll
MoreThe overpriced sushi and small serving could be forgiven if not for the ridiculous wait we experienced. My coworker waited over 30 minutes and was finished eating by the time I received my order, clocking around an hour waiting total, so much for my lunch break. I ordered a single roll and miso soup, and there were hardly any people in front of us. The manager was busy handing out refunds and gift cards to all the unhappy patrons, I must not have looked mad enough to get one. An apology would have been sufficient. I was so hungry after the experience that I ended up stopping somewhere else to get lunch. Thats right, a second lunch! Skip.
MoreReally nice staff, but extremely slow service. Not the place to stop for a quick lunch, but definitely a place to go when you have no where to be
MoreBrian , the manager was so kind and welcomingHappy Hour sushi was delicious and blueberry soda was yummy !!It was worth drivingI got parking ticket!! Still going back :)
MoreLight, simple and always good. Fast service, clean atmosphere. I enjoy it for a nice quick bite of sushi
MoreAbsolutely delicious sushi, great prices and a nice atmosphere, will definitely be back.
MoreFor the price sushi was not up to par. For sushi lovers, not worth the money on it. Very small place. Decent decor.
MoreThe omakase experience was well worth it!!
Stopped by during pride and was not disappointed. Everything was reasonably priced and very good. The staff was very friendly. The food is so good and that blueberry soda was amazing. I like the set up, I dont mind strangers sitting close to strangers. Will definitely return.
MoreWhat can I say?! If you know Chef Michael, Tnoi, and Company from O-Ku fame, you know how amazing of an experience you’re getting into when you come here. Consider this the lunchtime version of O-Ku; same quality food from the same quality people, with bright Uptown vibes and lunchtime portions and costs. I had the Wagyu rice bowl and it was the best rice bowl I’ve ever had in my life! Flavorful Wagyu steak with fried crispy onions, chopped scallions, and a banging wasabi aioli sauce. Savory, creamy, with a hint of sweet. You can just tell that they use the freshest ingredients. Even though I was completely satisfied, I couldn’t help but feel FOMO when my wife and our friend got the $30 30 minute omakase. Service is one of Sukoshi’s (and O-Ku’sgreatest assets; they really take care of the customers in a way you don’t even see at fine dining establishments. And they treat you like family! For that, we will forever be super fans of anything these guys do and we think you will be too!- Adam from Appetite + Adventure@appetiteandadventure
MoreI had the 12 piece sashimi and rice wine, it was great!
Great sushi for an order at the counter place.
A conveniently located sushi place with chic decor. I liked the Happy Hour option where cooler items (sushi rollswere half off during 5-7 PM. The service was also friendly.
MoreI absolutely love this place! Brian rocks!! They always deliver great customer service and go above and beyond to make my experience great they know how to be hospitable!!!!
MoreGreat sushi and other creative small dishes at good prices. I just wish they would use less plastic for dine-in orders. Everything is served in a disposable plastic take out box, even if you are eating there.
MoreKind of expensive for what you get. I’d go to taste or room 112 over here
Ordered 2 uptown chicken lunch items. Very disappointed with food’s quality. Some small pieces chicken bites over white rice for $11 each. It will not worth more than $5 in other restaurant. Expensive. Again One of the item served wrong. Not recommending.
MoreThe portion sizes are really bite size and best for a snack. The sushi was good and the Lil Bunz with shrimp was good, too. Wed visit again.
MoreWent with some coworkers for lunch and its a very clean and modern spot, I had the "bird box" special and it was really good. Friendly and fast service, will be a regular spot for me
MoreThis food was awesome me and my kids came here last night and we were surprised that it was that good get the chicken dumplings!!!!!!!
MoreGreat service! Respectful staff! Good spot for quality sushi in a lunch break in uptown.
MoreCrisp and clean space. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. Will come again next time I’m in Charlotte.
MoreAnother counter service sushi restaurant in Charlotte. I give this one four stars instead of three because the place has a cute Japanese feel. Like you walked into a Sanrio store that happened to serve sushi as well. The sushi itself was decent though the roll was quite small for the price. I had the Ha Ha-Machi roll. It needed some sriracha, but was not bad. The roll was served on a little plastic tray which made it feel like it was bought from a supermarket.
MoreFood is tasty but a little bit pricey. But I like the sensible serving sizes
Fresh sushi I had the crab salad roll and the shrimp dumplings. Good sized portions too. Good prices
MoreThe experience that I received was par none! For fast and healthy, Sukoshi is best in Charlotte and it’s definitely the spot to go if you want to fill up and fill your soul with goodness.
MoreSpectacular. Tasty, fulfilling, not too pricey. My new favorite lunch spot
This place is AWESOME! Authentic Japanese decor and the staff is friendly and helpful. Zach is the man!
MoreThe ramen isnt that great, but the sushi is perfect for a quick lunch.
Cool spot. A little pricey but good. After 5 they mark down their pre-made items to half off. A little tip if you want to grab something after work.
MoreAbsolutely love it!!🥢🍣
I was really interested to try this place out since I really like O-ku and its the same owners. We had a show at Booth Playhouse so it seemed like a good place to go for dinner before the show.We went around 6 pm on a Monday. There was so much on the menu that looked good, but we went with the Lil Bunz (one rock shrimp and one whitefish), the Ha-Ha Machi and Salmon Citrus rolls, and the Big Eye Mega Maki. Everything was delicious. The Lil Bunz were fried bao buns. We preferred the whitefish, but both were good. All of the sushi was amazing. The Big Eye had a bit of a kick to it that was quite good. The biggest downside was the price compared to serving size. We spent $50 (total for two peopleand were still hungry because the sushi rolls were small. I wouldnt expect to have to spend so much money at a fast casual restaurant to be full.We ended up getting another sushi roll and the caramel miso soft serve. This time we tried the crab salad Bunch of Crunch roll from the cooler. It was just as good as the fresh sushi we got and was our favorite roll we tried. The caramel miso soft serve was delicious. One important thing to note is that sushi rolls in the cooler are half off starting at 5 until they sell out. This is a bargain. Seeing that it tastes just as good as what you get fresh, I would only get that from now on which would make the price way better. It also has the added benefit of picking out the biggest roll.I thought the food was definitely 5 stars, but it lost a star because I didnt think it was quite worth the price. If you stick to half off sushi, it becomes a great deal.If you like sushi, this is a must try spot!
MoreService was extremely polite and great. Ordered the sashimi, and was pretty darn good. Expected from the same company that owns Oku. The unagi was my favorite. Happy hour is 5-7 and you can get half off whatever is in their cooler.
More2 Star for Food and Price - Small portion. Overpriced. Bland rolls.5 Stars for Customer Service
MoreFun vibe, good sushi, and fantastic customer service!
Sushi was excellent and the service was impeccable. Absolutely going to be frequenting Sukoshi.
MoreService was amazing, and the food is way better. Definitely coming back!
Fantastic sushi and entrees! Many options available and customer service was excellent. Sushi happy hour is such a great deal!!
MoreHad a great dinner last night at Sukoshi. The sushi 🍣 was amazing and it was a fun fast/casual dining experience! My six year old even said it was the best Chicken Teriyaki she’s ever had.
MoreFood and service is awesome. Jennifer, the hostess at the time, was very knowledgeable of what was on the menu and recommended some items that my coworker and I ended up getting. Will definitely come again!
MoreSukoshi was fantastic! Besides their chique interior and the amazing food, the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The fast pace service makes this the perfect spot for sushi on the go, or a quick sit down meal. Best sushi in all of uptown!
