10 Soi Yen Akat 3, Chong Nonsi, Yan Nawa, Bangkok 10120, Thailand, Bangkok
Whimsical takes on modern German cuisine are the specialty at this high-end, sophisticated outpost.
We had a fantastic dinner date at Sühring! The reservation process was already very kind and convenient. Calling a week prior to dbl check allergies and dislikes was also highly appreciated - even more when it was all realized on the spot with no problem at all.We were greeted by one of the brothers himself and a staff brought us to our table. We liked the location and the restaurant a lot - very minimal but with a special layout - not seen that before and that made it very cool.We ordered the 5 course menu + added some dishes… that was ideal for us, we loved every course, from traditional- but very gourmet - Spätzle over to very sophisticated dishes.Service was absolutely great, nothing to complain. Everyone was doing their best also to identify with the Berlin background, however you could feel that some haven’t got the connection and the passion & enthusiasm is missing. That however did not decrease our experience at all, everything was outstanding and we can recommend the restaurant to everyone!!!
Incredible place! Food was really good. Staffs were professional, welcoming and patient. Unforgettable dinner experience in Bangkok. Choose the 8 full course menu and you wont regret anything. Highly recommended!
A truely great Michelin experience! Service and food were impeccable! The experience is even better with great friends
Everything is perfect!! The food, the atmosphere, service and price. I went to Suhring every time I visit Bangkok; and it’s always great!
Our reservation was for 845pm and the whole party of 2 arrived by 9pm. We were only seated at 930pm I believe but the staff kindly served us champagne while we waited. Food is superb and staff is knowledgeable about the dishes. Unfortunately, they had thick Thai accents which made it difficult for us to understand them so the menu came in handy! I hadnt seen my friend for years and we were catching up over dinner. The dishes came very quickly one after another for the full menu - my take is that this could have been better timed based on the customers pace. We were also seated late so it wasnt really our fault that our dinner wasnt over faster. Other than that, a pleasant experience and I can see why they have 2 Michelin stars! The beef was just lovely - a must-have. And the bread (omgwas to-die-for so we asked for seconds.
This is by far the best dining experience Ive had. If you are into fine dining, Sühring is a must visit in Bangkok. The service is impeccable and the food is exemplary.
Unfortunately it was not a perfect experience. We booked the 845pm slot as this was the only available time slot, and opted for full course. It was all good until the last few dishes… the kitchen team started to cleaning up with loud noise and spoiling the supposedly serene fine dining moment. They should cancel the 845 slot or remove the full course from the menu for this slot.
Amazing dining experience at Sühring, from the welcoming team to the service team and the kitchen staff everyone is incredibly polished and committed to delivering an memorable evening. Take the 8 course menu and you wont regret anything.
Each dish sophisticatedly crafted, many layers to the flavor.Unique, Can’t imagine finding these taste from anywhere else.
Excellent service; we came a few years back, before they were awarded two Michelin stars, the food tasted better then. But it still tastes nice now.
Nice ambience, fanatics services. Dishes are also pretty good. The noodle and meat dish are pretty good.
been here multiple times and theres a reason why i keep coming back. one of the best in bkk!
Experience some of the most layered and interesting flavors here! Service is excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained every course to great detail. Every detail was well-thought-out as soon as we walked through the door. Had a very pleasant experience!
Fantastice & tasty food. Strongly recommend
My wife and I have been to many reputable michelin restaurants around the world including central in Lima and quintonil in Mexico. And sadly would not grant this the highest rating it has seen in many articles and reviews. The bad:Sadly, we suffered food poisoning from this establishment which wasted our last day of holiday. We were given seats near the kitchen where the room ambiance and design could use some work. Scuffs on the walls, curtains hiding the bathroom, and even an oddly exposed ac unit. Very expensive compared to other michelin restaurants in other countries. The good;At this restaurant, the food is thoughtfully crafted and presented incredible. The portions here were a lot smaller than other michelin restaurants we have visited. They offered a juice pairing, which was new and unique. Lastly, the staff was incredible. Very welcoming, with good knowledge and service. We did have a trainee who made a few minor mistakes, but we volunteered to help her in her training.Id spend your $250usd+ per person elsewhere.
Fantastic Evening, Good Service and Excellent Food! A Little German Retreat in Bangkok!
Simply amazing. Deserves more than 2 Michelin stars.
Always good! Got the 5-course this time and was just the right amount with all the amuse buche and pastries. The small bites were delicious and other dishes were perfectly cooked. Wine pairing was great for some courses, especially the duck liver terrine was great. Curry36 is still a must! Service was up to standard, very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
Suhring deserves its Michelin rating. The service is beautifully performed as you are led into a transformative and unforgettable food experience. Plan to spend several hours here enjoying your good fortune. Each course is a work of art that has been cuddled and loved into position on the plate. . . truly a gift for the eyes and soul.
Never have I been this lost for words, when reviewing a restaurant. To sum up my experience here in one word.Unbelievable!
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The experience was too good that I forgot to take more photos. The dishes are elaborated but also hidden German’s root. They also have nice wine pairing menu recommended by their French’s sommelier. The services was also very well, all the waiters and waitresses were really attentive and hospitable. Overall, it’s unforgettable dinner we had in Bangkok.
Food: 4/5 Solid cooking skills with many interesting stories behind each creation, however no dishes managed to wow-ed us though (probably should’ve paid for the upgrades 🥲)Ambience: 4/5 Beautiful house with a lovely garden view 💕Service: 5/5 Friendly Thai hospitality👌🏻
Last night Birthday dinner at Sühring, a 2 Michelin Stars restaurant. This is by far the best Michelin Star Restaurants I’ve had in Bangkok. The Lamb is highly recommended (it’s the best lamb I’ve ever had). I would definitely come back to revisit.
My overall experience was good. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I didnt like all the dishes. For me, the menu was inconsistent with some delicious stand outs and some just meh dishes. What was absolutely amazing, is their juice pairing you can choose instead of wine. The juices deserve the two stars easily. The venue was lovely, so was the serving staff. And the presentation of the food was delightful.
Wonderful meal from start to finish - we had the 5 course lunch and thoroughly enjoyed every course. The foie gras terrine is exceptionally done and the canapé are a pleasant surprise. And the bread with 3 different types of butter! Wine pairing is also decent with attentive service. We sat in the glasshouse area which benefitted from natural daylight and the garden outside. Want to return already!
What a culinary experience! Each dish was a surprising mix or flavors and textures. I had the lunch fixed menu. I was offered a total of 10 dishes. My absolute favorite was the duck - perfectly cooked with a spectacular crunch and a pink juicy center. The bread was great, they make their own sourteig. Over all, I highly recommend this experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, set in a home surrounded by gardens. Service was top notch and extremely attentive. Prices are very high, as with any Michelin star restaurant. Fancier attire is recommended.
Top of the bar.You wont disappointed. This 2 starred Michelin restaurant will put a smile on your face with every bites.
Amazing Michelin restaurant. Worth visiting again!!! They send CD GRE coupon, good pop up store in SIAM. I love the handwriting recipe from owners grandma too, very impressive story
Great experience and food.Never had German fine dining before but it was good definitely worth a try.Service was excellent by staff.Price was probably on the higher side for what it is, there are some cheaper fine dining options out there for similar quality, but I would say it was worth the money.Best wagyu steak Ive had on Bangkok, not just quality but the preparation of it was fantastic, duck was equally excellent.
One of the first restaurant that get 2 Michelin stars in Bangkok. Food is exceptional, service are excellent.
The food is perfect but some wine pairing not go well
Definitely, here is top 3 fine dining in bkk, they provide high-quality food and ingredients, delicate texture, and mind-blowing tastes. I would suggest its a restaurant that you must visit and enjoy. However, the desserts werent reached my expectations for me, I would suggest offering apple strudel or souffle, maybe its just me who doesnt like the desserts, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and meal.
Whenever you make a reservation at Sühring, they invite you to an experience at their “home.” And that’s what the entire experience feels like. You are graciously welcomed into a culinary experience that is world class from start to finish, but in no way feels stuffy or unapproachable. The space is immaculately designed with no detail left out. All of the staff are gracious and humble, and the food is sensational. I would like to add that Sinbad, one of our waiters, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and a joy to be served by. Every course was thoughtful, the meal seamless, and above all delicious. A special touch, was at the end of dinner, a handwritten note from the chefs congratulating my husband and I on our honeymoon and marriage was incredibly special. I could not recommend more this incredible experience to anyone visiting Bangkok, and I look forward to returning again.
Second time here at Suhring and never disappoint me. Enjoyed every dish of the 14 course and the wine pairing is done very well. Will definitely return!
-Professional service ???-Good fine dining ,everything fine for food .but we can’t choose different course , everyone must choose the same course, and we had told to restaurant on booking day that some of our group had allergy to Shrimp/Crab before, but staff try to sell 12 course that contained crab/Shrimp !!!that why we can choose only 9 course only , because we can’t go with different course as other find dining restaurant .
We had a great lunch experience. The kitchen is fantastic, sophisticated service team - all in a clean and stylish atmosphere. Best restaurant in BKK is a German? Maybe 👌Next star is waiting 🔥
I went for a short course yesterday with a friend. The food was fabulous, great atmosphere, and super nice wine. However, theres one thing that I think is very unfair of the restaurant to its customers. We were offered some add-ons like champagne to drink with the starter plate and tea with dessert without noticing that they are additional costs to the course, nor presenting the price on the spot. So we ended up paying double that we expected. Its the first time I experience fine dining, so I honestly dont know if this is normal. But its such an unethical way to make customers pay more without them knowing the full price in advance.
One of the best meals in Bangkok. Food was excellent. Service can be improved. But no complaint for the food. Really has some surprise dishes. I love it. I would go there again.
Fine dining experience in a cosy atmosphere. The staff were professional but still managed to make our group felt relaxed and comfortable until the end of the courses. Not so impressed with the seafood dishes but for the overall, its a wonderful experience.
My family had dinner last night with great appreciation both meal and services. The restaurant’s decorations are warm with nice garden. All staffs are truly professional, indeed. If you are in my country,Thailand, it’s a must to visit here.
Wonderful experience Went there with my Japanese company most of them are first time for German food they all loved it and I got to say is Delicious outstanding German food in town we all fell in love with single dish presentation and preparation was amazing Every single bite is super intense. Welcoming and caring chef Thomas and Mathias and also staff. If you are looking for something really special, thats the place to go.
Definitely a culinary destination. Playful, interesting takes on some very traditional German flavors. All of the fish dishes get high marks. Out of the 12 or so snacks and dishes, really only one miss. Service is a bit uneven but that is a bit expected of fine dining in Bangkok. Decor is nice - not over the top but tasteful. If you are used to dining in these types of places (at these pricesyou will be pleased.
Great, overall experience is very good, best as its standard for Michelin’s stars.Food tasted great, everything was freshly made and served by that time, decoration was great, overall vibes is good. Every dishes was explained by guys over there. We sat at the bar, which i think It’s better than the table. Menu is changed overtime.Price : quite expensive, It’s gonna be special occasion, not just a simple dinner.
Overall a nice experience, would definitely visit again. The seafood was done quite well, and the flavors of all the dishes had harmony. The details of the herring starter reminded me of Japanese cuisine, while other dishes had inspiration from other culinary techniques. All of the flavors and portions made sense. Their radler was especially awesome...so refreshing, wish they could supply me for a lifetime! I will just share some pictures and leave your experience speak for itself. Definitely recommend to visit if you have a chance.
Definitely a foodie place. Two Michelin stars. Gorgeous setting. The portions were small but the flavors quite good. We ordered on the a la Carte menu instead of the all inclusive tasting menu. Service was superlative. A true team of servers took good care of our table from start to finish. They even offered us a choice of steak knives, Ive not seen that before ever. Strong wifi. The food and service match this places well earned ratings here and on other review sites .
Our first and hopefully not last fine dining German experience. We have a horrendous record at 2 Michelin star restaurants but these were incredible. The atmosphere, food, the whole experience was phenomenal and just a huge brava to the chefs what a fantastic evening.
First time trying a German style fine dine and enjoyed it so much! The combination of ingredients in each dish were very balanced and well flavoured. The cheese pasta was my favourite. I have also choose the full wine pairing, most of the paired wine are from Germany which went very well with the courses. However I think the presentation of some courses were a bit too simple. In general it’s a very nice dining experience and the staff were friendly.
A fantastic, gastronomic experience that I would 100% go to again. 16 courses of utter deliciousness and a wine connoisseur who paired for us the best wines they had to offer. We ordered even more on top of the degustation and were full up! Highly recommend, and great to experience a top 50 best restaurant in Asia.
Excellent restaurant in a beautiful garden setting. The food is exceptionally high quality with either the produce coming from Germany or the dishes inspired by traditional German food. The staff are from quite a few countries and they do a great job explaining each course and what it is made of.I had the full tasting menu that was 14 courses.Definitely worth the visit.
A brilliant dinner! Being a Vegetarian, i rarely get good super tasty and fancy looking foods around, and even more so not in Germany. Here i had an amazing experience and great food.We had the tasting menu, and had given our food preferences beforehand, and they took care of it.The food is extraordinary! The staff is very polite and friendly. Each dish was well explained and every bite was super. Out of the 13 dishes served which form the tasting menu, except 1, loved them all!Highly recommend it, my friend who had chicken, lamb too, also enjoyed it thoroughly.Restaurant is in a beautiful garden around it.Thank you team Suhring! 😍
