This Shopping Center is the younger brother, and overshadowed by the nearby Arkad.

Average mall with average shops. Nothing special or unique but you can find what you usually need (food, clothes, electronics, banking etc)

Great place for short shopping. They have 1 hour ikr free parking 😃. I just bought the inhalator in the shop.

Still dont know why this is still open because we couldnt get a coffee until 10am on a weekday!

It is one of the oldest shopping mall in Budapest.

Parking lot obviously designed for a max of 50 socialist sized cars - finding a spot feels quite apocalyptic. Building outdated, shop selection mediocre, go for Árkád Mall on the other side, or drive/commute another 15—20 minutes into the city to Aréna Plaza

Best place for purchase and watching movies. Very near to bus park. And ikea then arkad mall also close to it.

Everything you need is there. Im recommending this place.

You must pay for the toilett in the 21. century, since they made it in Árkád first... its like a cartell. Ill never go here again.

Clean. They have every kind of shops. Bookstore, groceries, clothing, electronics, post office, healthcare, movie theater, bowling, fitness.

Far from hating - I did like having my time there indeed. Superb!

A little bit old place but you can find easily what you need. Probably also quicker then strolling around the Arkad on the other side of the road.There is bowling , a gym, pharmacy, food shop, couple of clothes shops (but these are not the big brands you can find in Arkadusually smaller and cheaper ones.If I need something quick before my bus goes I come here quickly.

Im not a big fan of this shopping center. Being right across a much nicer and larger shopping center (Árkádmakes this center feel like a boring dwarf. For many years it was there to be there. I do go to Örs vezér tere because of IKEA and/or Árkád but never exclusively to visit Sugár. However, recently thanks to banks and stores like dm and extreamdigital, there are more people going there and its not as empty as it used to be.

Easy supermarket. I just go Posta office. Correct and fast service. All the counters provide all services.

This place is not only for shopping. We can play bowling here before visit one of the lovely restaurants or dessert shops and after we can go to the Cinema to watch the best new movies. On the ground floor have a cosmetics for dogs. They are so professional and lovely there with the dogs. We allways take ours dog there and she love it. In Sugár Shopping Center in so many shops dogs are welcome. What is really helpful I take my dog to the Cosmetics and shopping at the same time at the same place.

You can find lots of kind of shops here, furthermore fast food restaurants, and even a great cinema. One of my few favourite shopping malls.

An excellent shopping centre that is small enough to quickly find the necessary specialty shop or service provider (i. e. banks, money exchange, laundry, cellphone providers, cinema, bowling, etc.also offering great variety of food product in the supermarket on the first floor. Toilets are available for visitors. In most outlets the card payment is everyday practice. There is a large underground parking serving Sugar and IKEA customers. The centre is easy approach by metro or other means of public transport. If you failed to find the goods you need you can walk over to Árkád shopping centre using the connecting bridge.

As all plazas your can find all that you need here from electronics stores to clothing and restaurants. They have a big variety on food and beverages plus you can find some stores which cannot be found in other plazas. Overall a good place and the public restroom is clean. I can only recommend.

Good selection of stores,eather when you pay a bill go into a cinema or just hang around window shopping.

I prefer this mall over the rest of them as there are fewer people and its not as loud.

It is one of the friendliest shopping malls in Budapest. They regularly have coupons that you can use almost every main shop, gym, pharmacy, pet shop, etc.It can get crowded but it usually has a friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to via metro

This is a historical shopping mall. Obviously the competition is on the other side of the road (Arkad Shopping Mall). This mall Sugar has the movie theater with many rooms and very good selection of movies and food. If going to cinema you are eligible for 3hrs of free parking othetwise the parking is not free. The shops there are similar to the shops in Arkad, possibly with lower prices. Due to its size not so many shops available though. There is also a gym available with selection of exercise types. Sugar also has a multiple lane bowling pub, with pool billiard. Inside food and drinks are available, but paid separately. 3stars due to its size, otherwise good place.

This shopping center is overshadowed by the arkad shopping mall but it’s quite famous for Cinema. Post office and line in the ATM is quite long but little patience will do everything. Bowling 🎳 place here is quite good and coffee shop was good. Limited varieties and options but overall quite impressive instead of their size. One star minus because of it’s size and limited options for shopping.

It feels that it is a bit old but it is still a good place. Has bowling and cinema, but for food it is better to go to the other side of the road to árkád

A nice not too busy mall. Back in 1970 this was the most modern mall in hungary.

Very outdated. In need of refurbishing. Parking is abysmal. The cinema was dirt cheap and excellent service for the price.

I hate crowdy malls and this is not one of them. There are some places to visit here. I think Sugar Mozi great they often offer merch of movies next to the menu.

Despite the efforts to make this mall look and feel like a modern shopping center, Sugár still belongs to the past. It opened in the 80s as the first mall in Budapest - and was considered a quite progressive one that time. Problem is that its ambience and also that of its tenant shops still resemble that era - both regarding (the lack ofcustomer care and product quality/variety. Its generally not a good place for browsing and window shopping, and is only worth going in case you have a specific business here.

It is interesting because connected to the Arkad center on the other side of the road by a little bridge. Arkad have a much bigger choice of shops and services. But the cinema complex is in the Sugar Center.

In my opinion if I pay for a lunch, the place should offer free toilette even just for wash my hands. The cinema is cool, but for me personally the 90% of the shops are useless.

I like it is on human scale - not that oversized shopping center, despite the size there is plenty of services like post office, bowling, cinema, etc. You can get done things quickly.

A bit old mall with expensive stores. Only good places are the fitness, kids playroom, cinema, maybe Spar. Only main plus is that it is next to IKEA and Árkád.

Old school shopping mall. Built decades ago and been refurbished. Hasnt got too many shops but has the essentials. Food, post, electronics, fashion, cafes, banks are available, also games and toy shops, bowling and cinema

The only shop I am going here is Spar. Rest of the shops are crappy and expensive. If you are in örs vezér tere I would recommend Árkád. Way more shops and better prices

Its okay to run errands here but not for shopping spree. The cinema is cheap and good. Nice gambling rooms and bowling.

Best fitness facility in the district. Focuses on classes instead of body building. Wide range of group exercises, from beginners to hardcore spartans everyone can find the right challenge.

The mall itself is not that big and the stores arent that great either. However there is a great cinema, a gym and a bowling club.
