Subway in John Day

I cant complain about this one. The ham sandwich was delicious

The worst food I have ever gotten at a Subway. Small portions, no toppings, bland and boring. Employees were beyond apathetic, so uninvolved they were practically dead.

I have never seen such beautiful vegetables at Subway before… especially the tomatoes and spinach. We had lots of fun with the young man who helped us… when he heard we were ordering veggie subs and wraps, he even offered to change his gloves after handling meat. (Very considerate.They also had Swiss cheese, so all 4 of us had Swiss. Next time we are in John Day we will be stopping here again.

Online app didn’t work even with their WiFi so they didn’t even offer to honor the 15% off footlongs. The sandwich maker was the best part of the poor experience. Everyone had an air of they didn’t really want to work but they most laughable is when we were handed three different sandwiches wrapped up with napkins too and asked for a bag and they just gave it to us and watched while we bagged it ourselves. This place really is a joke. Sandwich was good but the employees were lazy. Btw the manager watched all this and said nothing.

Every time I order online and go to pick up my order it is never ready and it take me 20 minutes or longer to get my order. Why do online ordering when they don’t pay attention to what order the orders are coming in. I am very unhappy with this Subway and their staff. The gentleman up front can ride and disrespectful

Love my local subway! Even though I worked at subway for years, years ago- nothing about my experience sullied my enjoyment of the franchise. Cant say the same for burger king, pizza hut- lol, you dont wanna know!

Friendly, clean and fresh ingredients! Its our second visit. They run daily specials, a given sandwich with 2 free side; chips and a drink. Great place for a delicious sandwich.

Both of the servers deserve to be fired. They were threatening each other with violence. One even threatened a little kid who was a customer.

Friendly, fast, tasty subs, $ reasonable

Got into town at 9pm on Saturday night. Checked into our hotel room and went to get some food at Subway seeing that closing time was 10pm. Found the doors locked at 931pm. The employees were still in the store and came out to tell me that they closed early because they didnt have any business. They told me to go to dairy queen because that is the only other fast food business in town. If posted business hours are 10pm, then they should be willing to serve customers until 10pm. Just for the record, we went to the dairy queen right across the street, got our food and the employees at the subway were still hanging in the store. Very disappointing!

No flavor in the sandwichs. Everything is to processed for me.

This sub shop is overrated. I like the subs at our local grocery store much better.

Great value. Used the coupon from mailer. Got 2 cinnamon rolls and foot long sandwich for under $ 10.00. Clean place. Quick and friendly service.

Food was good and service was quick. I was a bit concerned to walk into the restaurant and see the food-bin doors hanging wide open. I was the only customer in there, and usually the doors are shut too keep the bugs off and the food cold, unless a sub is being made. However, there was still frost around the food containers, so maybe they just opened the doors right before I came in.

The attitude I got from the ladies was absolutely horrible. Last time I will be getting breakfast from them because obviously they dont like making and serving breakfast.
