Casual counter-serve chain for build-your-own sandwiches & salads, with health-conscious options.
Ordered food online to get lunch 20 minutes beforehand. Said it was ready and complete.when I went to pick it up it still was not complete. I then waited an additional 20 minutes for them to make it. The lady who made it made it wrong so had to go back in to get the correct food. She threw a fit and proceeded too make my sandwich in a rage. She was yelling at customers because the bell on the door was ringing. I understand being busy at lunch time but that was in no way acceptable to treat customers.
Worst app/online service ever. They will mark your order as complete and ready for pick up, then start making it when you show up. Oh, and they have you wait in whatever line is there even if you walk up to the express order sign.
Food was soggy and did not get what we ordered. Tried calling the store and no answer. 6 sandwiches not one made right.
The people working were so very nice. And the food yummy.
Nice place to eat while traveling along I25. Food was good. We ordered ahead on the app, and our food was waiting for us. Not all tables were clean, and they ran out of medium cup lids, but made it good when they gave us larger sized drinks.
Jesse and Rina were absolutely wonderful. Very hard workers - the manager should be proud of t their work ethic! All ingredients were available and fresh for a 6 inch sub and salad that we ordered, plus cookies.
I love subway and this place doubled my meet for free... Thanks guys
Very nice employees great service
Came during lunchtime rush on July 4th weekend. Had the spicy Italian. Excellent sandwich made really fast
Delicious sandwich. Clean tables and area. But service made the difference.
Great staff, clean, fresh ingredients, friendly and fast service.
Stopped here on the way to Dallas. Rude staff. No toasted sandwich and was not even listening to my order.
Professional, friendly staff! Food made perfectly! Clean store. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend for people looking for a quick, delicious meal from friendly folks! These staff members deserve a pay raise, they are excelling!
Skimpy on ingredients and way overpriced. A foot long with a few add ons cost me 18 dollars. Bread was kinda stale, they were super busy and line moved at decent pace but it would have been cheaper and faster to go Arbys honestly. Manager was super rude, the young new girl was way nicer and polite. Manager just seemed like she wanted us to leave and take our group elsewhere.
Employees were helpful and made sure our food was right!
I ordered online like I normally do whoever made my sandwich smashed it together it was soggy drenched in mayonnaise which really grossed me out!it looked like 90% of the sandwich was swimming in Mayo my vegetables were wrong on the amount I’ve never had a bad experience like this till tonight I always order the same thing every time!it’s upsetting to get off of a 11hr shift order food come home to see a disappointing sandwich.I won’t be ordering online anymore I suppose I have to go in and watch how they make it so they won’t be so careless:( on top of that it said my sandwich wasn’t ready so I decided to go inside and I saw it they didn’t update it I’ve never had this issue poor service tonight!!
My wife is a truck driver and we love going to subway, we’ve been to this subway specifically twice. First time was eh, the second time however was beyond me. There’s a lady with short red hair older lady, the rudest most mind blowing human being. There was a couple before my wife and I who had ordered their food, they also ordered two of the large drinks, went to fill their cups and the woman told the red head employee that the drink was flat, the employee said in the rudest way and loud enough for everyone in the store to hear almost to publicly humiliate the woman and said “oh well ma’am there’s nothing I can do about it , the CO2 is broken” and you can tell it made the woman feel “dumb” in a sense and they left. The next issue was THE WINNING ISSUE, there was a deaf woman with an interpreter, obviously it takes some patience and the same red head employee was so rude, the deaf woman was explaining to her interpreter what she had wanted and the interpreter was explaining to the employee and the employee looked at the deaf woman and then the interpreter and was like “I can’t hear you ma’am you need to speak up” but said it with such irritation and disgust. It was aweful to watch and so I’ll mannered. It’s beyond me how a human being can be so ugly. No one deserves that type of treatment for a service they pay for. If you don’t like your job, QUIT. So awful!!
I stopped late at Raton NM on my way back from Houston, TX. Johnny the manager was so very nice, stop and see these people. I would like to mention this was the cleanest Subway Ive ever been in. Thank you Johnny and your crew you all are doing a wonderful job keep it up.
(Former employee)The management is 100% awful and can barely keep the store stocked. Wages are awful and the respect we got as employees was laughable. Constantly understaffed for the amount of workflow we were forced to keep up with. At one point I was forced to take only cash from customers (our register was downand could not give them any change. People were paying $20 for a $7 meal. I cant even get a straight answer out of the manager (Adeleabout who to call to get my w-2 for tax season. Avoid this place like the plague. Im calling the IRS.
Terrible. We generally love subway while traveling because they have delicious sandwiches and it’s light for the car ride. This was terrible. We are a family of 7. Out bread was barely toasted. You could not even tell it had been toasted at all. The spinach did not taste fresh at all. The turkey was not good. And the customer service was terrible. I could literally feel the staff rolling their eyes every time we spoke.
Warm, friendly staff made our stop very enjoyable. Good food and clean facility. Great stopover on our journey. Thank you!
Even during construction in 2015, they remained open. Great place.
We had amazing customer service tonight and the guys working were super friendly and engaging. Delicious sandwiches too.
My husband and I stopped here today as we traveled through. The employees were refreshing to say the least. They were so friendly and put so much care into making our sandwiches. I don’t think I have ever seen that at subway before. They do require masks, so make sure to bring one in! We didn’t but they were kind about the reminder so we had to run back to the car. They had to remind a few others as they came in too. Some of those customers were very unhappy. But the employees are polite in how they are going about enforcing the policy and they are only doing it to protect us! Thanks for such a great experience here!
These people are slaves to the system. Its subway for god sakes live life on ur own terms. If u constantly let the government tell u what to do, before too long u wont have any freedom!!! I used to stop here but i will never again untill they pull their heads out of their a**es...
It seems like this is the one place in Raton that demands you mask up. That is fine, but what isn’t is when the employees yell at us while we are trying to find them, while also allowing people of different ethnicities to walk about freely without them. What a sad life it must be to feel powerful from working as a cashier in this dump of a town.
fresh sandwich offerings, more fresh iced tea offerings then Ive experienced in other subways. fun, friendly customer service! enjoyed the music mix
Terrible customer service. Female employee hollering at people as they come in door about masks.Take a note from In N Out.... Its not your job to enforce illegal and unconstitutional demands.
Food was fine... Extremely angry about them not following the law that clearly states you have to have baby changing stations in bathrooms and neither of their bathrooms had one... also irritated at the rude, argumentative, snotty cashier behind the counter who was disrespectful over something as stupid as sandwich sauce...Also, since I have the floor... If youre going to follow covid rules (yayat least follow them all... Tables were closed for social distancing but no one was out wiping in-between guests, pretty gross really even if covid wasnt a thing. You could hear other patrons complaining about the same thing.
I give one star simply because I cant give a lower rating. We have been on the road for two weeks, visited Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and a brief stop in Raton, NM. Havent had any problems anywhere we visited. Saturday, we stopped at the Raton, NM Subway. We were treated shabbily and refused service because we did not have a mask. The subway employee at the cash register was shrill, rude, and unnecessarily mean in attitude. We quietly returned to our car to retrieve masks and heard several other customers grumbling about this person also. While we waited to place our our order, we noticed the employees were not properly wearing their masks. This is unsafe relative to COVID publicity. When we went to a table we noticed the staff was not sanitizing tables between customers, this made us feel the cashiers shrill and bullying attitude was one of meanness and controlling rather than making the place safe. The restrooms were filthy, there was not any soap, all I could do is rinse my hands. Fortunately I had hand sanitizer in the car and was able to "sort of" clean my hands until I could stop at a service station. This establishment is a poor representative for COVID safety, an even worse representative for Subway. I will think twice before spending my hard earned money at Subway in the future.
So, I order here weekly, normally off the app and take it to go. It is hit and miss some days that works great and it’s ready, sometimes I have to wait on it, but for the most part it has been good service. Today I went in to order and all I had was a hundred dollar bill because my wallet was in my car with my husband in another town. I ordered $40 worth of sandwiches and they would not take my cash because they only accept up to $20 bills! Seriously?! I seriously wanted to leave them with the sandwiches, but my Mom paid with her card. Promise, I won’t be back for a very long time, if ever….
On the last day of a two week road trip this was the first place where we came to that dining in was closed and mask were still required. Very disappointing in a pass through area you cant sit and relax while you eat before you get back on the road. On the upside the two young guys behind the counter were very up beat, friendly, and professional.
2 stars because of clean bathrooms. But definitely slow and skimpy on the sandwiches. Overall seems like the Subways are going downhill.
Normally I dont rate fast as restaurants but I havent put a special thanks out to the subway! Hurrying 4th of July week everyone was on vacation and traveling through and there was a long line waiting out the door that was steady for a couple of hours. They did a spectacular job handling everybodys needs and taking care of everyones lunch! Keep up the good work at this location!
Everything was fine about the food but the restrooms left a lot to be desired. When youre on a main interstate interchange you really need to have good restrooms.
I visited this Subway on my way to the Midwest and they were amazing! They have amazing customer service and also made my order neat and fast. Team lead Johnny and Jordan were awesome and super friendly. Thank you guys for those awesome attitudes! Keep it up!
I stopped in Subway on 4/13/21 at #11611-0 to grab something to eat. That place is SO clean and the staff SO friendly somebody should tell corporate! My sandwich artist (#271692was nice and helpful. We (store mgr, artist and myselfspoke nice respectful words, laughed and smiled. I even recieved my military discount (I gave it back as a tip). Overall, a very pleasant experience
Super nice staff, older lady made one of the nicest sandwiches I’ve had in a subway and trust that my count is high. Subway is GASERONI!Do your thang workers at this subway you are saving stomachs one sandwich at a time!
I would give no stars if I could! Place was absolutely disgusting! The sandwich bar was nasty, the food looks like it has been sitting there and not at proper temperature. The bathrooms were so nasty! Toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor! Saw three people working, only one working the line. They should be cleaning rather than yelling about turkey they ran out of yesterday!
Very pleasant staff and the food was good. The only thing that I would have to say and I realize the covid-19 situation had much to do with this but the place looked abandoned and vacant I would just recommend straightening up the outer area to make it look lively and inviting. Once again I got to say very pleasant staff.
Its in a convenient spot to stop and get a sandwich. The gal working there was friendly, and just like all other subways, food is what you expect. The parking lot had room for our long truck and trailer, which was nice. There are a bunch of pot holes, so go slowly. Not much dine in room, especially now with Covid-19.
When I went into subway there was only one customer in front of me ordering two foot longs. I waited in line for 25 minutes until she decided to ask someone else to help her even though it was only me until one other customer come in afterwards. But the time I left there was a line out the door would not recommend travelers to stop here.
Line was long, but was grateful this eatery was open. Understandably, a lot of items were sold out, but the Sandwich Artists were doing their very best... until a third employee came out wearing his mask on his chin. Fortunately he was only on register. I asked him to lift his mask and he did, but didn’t bother to cover his nose. As a customer I am required to wear a mask in the restaurant and I comply for everyone around me. I expect all the employees to do the same. I get that the masks are uncomfortable (my work requires a mask all day, toobut I imagine being on a ventilator would be much more uncomfortable.
Well made subs and friendly staff. What was a bit long, but not terrible. Store was clean. Sub ingredients tasted fresh.
He took too LONG! Trash all over the floor. Didnt have all the breads, meats veggies. BUT!! BUT!!! OUR SANDWICHES WERE SOOO! GOOD!
This is a small store at a crossroads location, and we were there for lunch on the Saturday before Christmas-a huge travel day. The staff were AMAZING! They were working as a team to move the line, all the while chatting with travelers and cranking out the sandwiches. Well done!
We stopped driving to Colorado. Good place for us because we wanted to eat outside because we traveled with our dog. Subway had outdoor seating ! Clean restaurant, in fact they were mopping while we were ordering. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients just what we needed.
This is by far the best subway Ive ever been to. It had the friendliest employees of any fast food restaurant Ive ever been. Super efficient workers too. Great job.
I eat here regularly when in Raton. Today I expected it to be a disaster because there was crazy traffic. But the employees were very efficient and moved the line quickly. They were cheerful and friendly. My sandwich was made perfectly and on my way in less that five minutes despite the line out the door. Good job as always. Thanks.P.S. Four stars because yall need to fix that parking lot.
We stopped in while traveling and this Subway is in its own building which is very clean (even the bathrooms). Our sandwiches were very well made and the staff was happy and friendly. I say happy because anyone can be friendly when they are being paid to be, but the staff was genuinely happy and conversational.
