Submarine Burger Frankopanska in Zagreb

I ordered takeout and specifically asked for cutlery, but they didnt include any. How do they expect me to eat the food?

Probably the best burgers and cheesy chips we ever had. We went for the sliders and both cheesy and truffle parmesan chips.

The classic burger felt like a Big Mac, but done right. The meat was very flavorful and the potatoes really seemed to be freshly cut and not frozen, something that can rarely be found nowadays in a restaurant. I recommend the ketchup and the truffle sauce, they go really well together with the fries.

Their French burger is by far the best burger I’ve ever had! The ingredients are always fresh, local and tasty. I love coming back to them, can’t recommend enough. Also, the staff is always so friendly and quick with your order. We 💛💛💛 Submarine 🍔s

It is nice and juicy burgers with really good fries. We tried all of their fries and I would recommend them all but my favorite of the lot was the cheesefries.

Found quite by chance in Zagreb, but there are more often there, seems to be a burger chain there. But I do not find bad, because everything was very good in taste. The selection on the menu is also top and there are many different choices, whether burgers, salads or even vegan dishes. With the drinks, no wish remains open. Great ambience inside and outside also cozy seating. Service was great and everything went very quickly. I ordered Sliders, where you get three smaller versions of the three classics: Original, Smokehouse and Italian! Gladly again.

Holy cow, one of the best burgers Ive ever eaten. The meat Pattie as well as the veggie one were exceptional. The staff was really nice too. I didnt know the chain before so I was pleasantly surprised.

The menu is split evenly into Meat and Vegan (Beyond Meatoption. Despite being a chain, the quality was excellent. They have their own house-brand chilly sauces, other hidden gems like mint lemonade or non-alcoholic IPA. Personal recommendation try the sliders and the truffle fries 🙂

My beef burger was enjoyable as was my wifes Vegan burger, not the best burger Ive had but definitely not the worst. The portion sizes were good and the service decent.

An amazing little restaurant with good hamburgers, we know the place and each new visit is as great as always. We ordered the bacon with truffles sauce fries and it’s truly difficult decide what was better, the hamburger it’s big, tasty, meat well done, fresh bread but the taste of the fries with truffles it’s incredible. Totally worth it if you’re in Zagreb.

Didnt realise there was more than one location in Zagreb! We found this one via a recommendation.We dined outdoors with very nice seating, including blankets and heating options!Once sat down the gent cleaned our tables. We did not see the same gent until later on.A polite and kind female took our drink and food orders.Some of us ate, some had starters and drinks only. All promptly taken and arrived in good-time.I opted for cheese-style fries and the original burger. Be carful, portions are big and extremely good value for us.My burger was delicious with many sauces! There is a lot going on. The burger was cooked to perfection. The fries can be shared, easily, I couldnt finish my portion.My friend went to request the bill, inside. The same man who cleared our table earlier stated we should have told him previously if we wanted to split the bill and this was not possible. Unsure if this was a language barrier but to avoid argument, my friend paid by card for all of us.Aside from payment gate, everything was splendid.

Had a great experience, the service was excellent and friendly at all times, we were on a rush and the waitress made it possible for us to eat fast. The smokehouse burger was just delicious and what I needed, though the small burger would not be enough without the fries (ordered separatelyand they charged me BBQ as an extra. The place is a bit pricey but I think it is worth it. I would come again for sure next time I am in Zagreb.

Fast service, food can be picked up in front door and consumed on the front terrace. They also deliver with all Delivery companies. Food is fantastic and a truffle sauce adda a flavourful twist to the classic Burger. The beef is excellent and the buns are made in house. Charred and grilled on open flame. Overall epic taste, will gladly visit again.

Very eclectic hamburger spot. We came a bit late while in Zagreb one night here as it was highly recommended by a local. The staff were great. The burgers were really tasty and our server recommended a great beer for me. The parmesan truffle fries were amazing. We definitely left satisfied

Fairly nice hamburgers but portions are smaller and meat is thinker. Meat in hamburger must be bigger. Hamburger bread is great and you should try salads but you will need something on a side. Prices should be cheaper, it is only a hamburger. On the other hand staff is very polite and they desirve 5 star.

The best burgers I had in my life!So far, Ive tried the Classic one with extra bacon, French Burger wihout arugula, and Winter Burger.The Winter one was amazing because how amazingly all the weird ingredients come to life, and the Classic one was a perfect take on a classic burger!I also had an avocado chicken salad which blew me away how refreshing and tasty it was.I only photographed the Classic one and the salad, though.

One of the best burgers I have EVER eaten. I had the hipster burger and the avocado was fresh and flavorful. The beef was so good and the multigrain bun was perfect. The truffle fries are also fantastic. Fair prices for great food.

Best burger Ive eaten so far in my little life. Simply melts in your mouth. Can see why its one of the best burger joints in Europe! Also the 90s playlist they have playing in the background is amazing!

The burgers and fries are really tasty. I also ordered a small California Dream salad but theres a bit of too much dressing and too heavy so I didnt enjoy it as much as Id like. But great burger joint overall.

One of the best burgers Ive eaten so far. Best quality meet with very good wholegrain bred. A lot of options to pimp up your burger in your way. Tasty deserts are served also well from the helpful and French staff. Just can recommend the craft beer selection from at least 5 different breweries. Keep on doing things in this way!
