Jalan Kemajuan Subang, Ss 16, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, Batang Berjuntai
Sprawling, enduring complex of over 200 shops, plus casual eateries, cafes & a cinema.
Always come here for Daves Deli. Still good after all these years. Other eateries here are ok too, Uncle Lim, Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Dome, Nandos, McDonalds to name a few.
Subang parade pls make the mall more senior citizen friendly. My 84 year old mother had to use the stairs up and down coz ur lifts was not working or blocked by parkson. Ur escalator moves so fast as well.
You can find good eateries here in SP. I personally recommend Daves Deli, Dome and Uncle Lims Cafe.
This place looks so sad now as it’s poorly maintained. You’re lucky to find a working escalator. If you managed to find a usable elevator, they are scary to ride on as it’s as if it could breakdown anytime soon. Many shops after G level above are unoccupied and some areas are dark. Though with the fewer crowd, you could get a whole cinema hall to yourself despite bit of challenge to leave the mall after late night shows. So far lobby lift 7 still works if you’re up to it.
Quiet on a weekday but this is still a draw of the crowds in SJ during peak hours. Withstood the test of time and so many other, more modern malls in the neighborhood.Good place to come if you’re looking for computers, mobile phones, accessories and service. Very good range of food outlets too.
USED TO BE THE LONGEST SHOPPING MALL IN THE 80S. I GREW UP FEELING PROUD ABOUT THE FIRST MALL IN SUBANG JAYA. USED TO HAVE TGIF THAT SERVED GOOD MEAL. LOVE GOING TO PARKSON. MOVIE THEATRE IS COMFY. THE MALL REMINDS ME OF THE GLORY DAYS AND MEMORIES IN THE 80S AND 90S AS A SUBANG JAYA KID.
Can go for cinema shows. Not too crowded. Can get food , drinks at the many food outlets. Can shop for groceries at Village Grocer.
Ive not been here for quite some time as i find that the place lacking in variety in terms of type of shops, however Im quite surprised that its improved since then.F&B outlets inside also has also improved their service level (at least at Nandos and Uncle Lims)The Buskers set up is a good idea, giving the place a more lively feel. Overall, i think that the place is fairly good, with room for improvement. (Children/Family oriented outlet, jungle gym or kidzania etc would add to attraction value)Anyway, this is just my view. I do encourage others to pen their thoughts to give the place a fair review.
This Subang Parade mall has been good amazing to old folks who live in Subang. A must visit to such good amazing mall as there are good shops to get by within budgets. Good shops with good food shops too. Very much liking to visit there often as it is like a part of old good time day!
The mall is quite narrow but plenty of shoplot here. The parking also not bad but i do believe there is no parking at peak hour or maybe weekend
big, cool, have various place to enter, lovely people, rich ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
This place has become a white elephant, deserted nowadays and will eventually die off one day. Sad indeed because it used to be one of the most famous shopping malls in 80s and 90s.
The place has changed a lot after the pandemic. Some shops that were good for visits are gone. And no good replacements. The management has shut down lifts and escalators.Walking up and down an escalator is really bad for the knees. And walking to find operating lifts was a hassle.
The mall like a dead town to me. I went there like 6pm after work and most of the stores inside are closed. Even some of the food stores are closed as well. Definitely not coming here again.
Variety of many shopping options, food Court and drinks are very organized. A corner place for reading which is the best and its very quiet area.
This my first time visit subang parade. Inside they have bodyshop, parkson, village grocer, mr diy, giodano, mc d, etc. But Having dinner at Dodo dim sum. The dishes quite good. Overall we like it.
The lift not working, the escalators malfunction for a very very long time. We bought several pieces of luggage at Wing but had to hand carry down the escalator. We are elderly people and the management should ensure customer safety if you want us to shop there again.
Its big and clean. All the stuffs are nice as i saw. Got nice restaurants and baby gym.
what happen to all the escalators and elevators?lack of maintenance or dont want to maintain to save budget?even escalators at the main hall also not working. supposed to be a mall for families, oldies, young childrens. How la to to walk around. Please consider to maintain the escalator at least. susah wooo
We mostly go here for the Little Gym. Parking at roof makes it an easy access. A neighborhood mall with Parkson and Village Grocer. You can get your weekly purchases done conveniently.
During the covid scare, it was a safe haven as theres limited numbers of patrons . It still offer a decent variety of shops without the crowd but building maintenance is poor. Escalators, lifts and toilets ( especially for ♿️are mostly out of order. If youre a ♿️ person and need to use a lift , its best to ask first which lift is available .
Its great place to shop and browse around. But most of the escalators are not working for a long time. Please fix the escalators and it will be the best.
Place is still active with a good crowd in weekends. Not bad after all these years. 👏👌Edit July 2022 - The Covid 19 pandemic took a massive toll on the mall, now its not happening anymore, looks like its struggling. F&B outlets still doing ok, but only the popular brands like McD, Chicken Rice Shop. Got 2 x Halal Dim Sum places, and few other cafes. I think I will not be coming here in the future, cause management not willing to upgrade and change for the current lifestyle shops like at Empire.
Good place to eat as it has several of my favorite eating outlets here..
The oldest shopping mall in Subang Jaya. Typical neighbourhoods mall, with mostly eateries, a flagship store & other small outlets catering to the areas needs.
For the past 3 years almost all their escalators not functioning . Dull standard look more like pasar ! Doesnt have a mall atmosphere except for the grocer thats looks lively . Cant come any closer compared to empire mall the management can take a few lesson from them .
1. Subang Jaya’s anchor shopping mall.2. I’ve been here since 1990s when I was staying at Sungai Buloh.3. Not too big nor small so nice if you don’t quite like too busy places like Sunway Pyramid. It lost some oomph when Empire shopping mall and Sunway Pyramid opened and the latter gave an attractive parking rate compared to here then again, some people like the laid back charm and atmosphere it excels.4. It has a variety of shops controlled by mgt. Parking was gloomy until they lit it well.5. Lacking banks but can walk across to adjacent buildings.6. Cold Storage left and their place has been taken over by Parkson.7. Village Grocer has become the anchor supermarket.8. The types of shops have evolved since the Pandemic struck where some did not manage to survive.
Ive been coming to this mall since I was a kid, my go to hangout place with a lot of memories. However, after the pandemic a lot has changed. Certain stores have closed, the malls highlights of MPH Bookstores and MBO Cinemas (replaced by GSChave both closed. At least Parksons is still around :-)
Almost of all Subang Parade Shopping Mall escalators have been out of service for years (not weeksand your lifts are also out of service. Most retail outlets have closed or moved to other malls. Your first and second floors are almost empty. Your faulty escalators have greatly inconvenienced senior patrons.. is anything being done to address this?
Wonderful local community mall around the SS16 Subang Jaya greater metropolitan area. Easily accessible by bus or the RAPID LRT. Place has lots of little shops, eateries and large anchor tenants. Lovely.
All lifts and escalators are out of service for months. Very sad indeed for once a nice neighbourhood hang out place for family. Maintenance are poor, toilets are dirty
Wish I could give a lower rating. This mall is absolute garbage. Stores are barely open. Tried to leave using LG floor at night and most of the doors were locked. What kind of bloody mall locks their shoppers in!!!! Had to find another exit which was very far from my car. So in conclusion, Subang Parade….do better.
One of my favourite mall.Since 1994..very comfortable place not to pack n stuffy... relaxing mall for me n family having dinner there even for shopping too
Very disappointed with the management was there yesterday. How can most of the escalators and lifts be out of order. Very likely the management didnt pay the service providers otherwise lift and escalator service providers will there in 30 mins to 1 hour as soon as a breakdown is reported. This was always a favourite mall to many because it was not too crowded and easy access and parking. Please dont let this mall go to waste.
Yesterday I finished my movie at about 11.30pm and took me 30 min walking around the whole mall to find an exit. All the exit were locked. At last, I managed to find an exit to walk to the basement to exit the mall. Walked a super big round outside the mall to get into my car that parked in the mall basement. It is extremely dangerous doing that in the midnight.Hope the Management can look into it & consider to open some side door for us to leave after night movie!
Subang Parade is one of my favourite shopping mall .. it’s feels like home. Over 20 years and we can’t stop going there ..Almost everything you can find in that mall..But lately and sadly the escalators are not working ..it’s been awhile and it’s so inconvenience for the shoppers …I hope they will fix the problems soon ..Thank youSalwa
Very poor(read: Nomaintenance, especially on lifts, escalators and toilets. Not wheelchair or stroller friendly as there is ONLY ONE LIFT to provide access to different levels in the entire shopping mall, which also does not open at LG, the floor where the grocer, and many restaurants are located. Tenants are trying their best but management is not present at all!
Today was by far the worst experienced we had in this mall. & weve been here since the early 90s. Most of the lifts & escalators are not functioning. Including the ones in the car park. & for some reason, the central air con in the whole mall was pretty warm. Pls fix them ASAP.
Even though this mall open in 1988 but it is still stand strong beside abundant of malls in the state. This place holds memories of my childhood in the 90s, a go to place to wind up and the tenant inside the mall still relevant to current environment. The layout is very stroller friendly where you dont need elevator to go to different floor and the ambience is calming and easy going. There are a lot of eateries which popular during lunch time so espect queue during that time.Parking a little bit scares but you can always visit via LRT and ehailing services.
Mixed feeling coming to this mall which is past it glory days from the 90s. With anchor merchants such as Parkson, McD, Best Denki, Nandos it should be thriving. But with aggressive competition from nearby malls such as Empire and Sunway Pyramid it lacks care and maintenance. Most of the escalators are not working and toilets not maintained. My experience going to the toilet here 2/4 not in order & other 2 toilet have faulty lights. Being in the mall feels warm perhaps a cost saving measure definitely not a comfortable mall to be in longer periods. I wish this mall get its act together as there is still hope.
Being a ppv for vaccineEntrance near ParksonNot so well organised.. Not so clear instruction
This place holds countless memories of my 90s childhood. To walk around it again now definitely brings different feelings as changes have been made almost everywhere. Despite the difference, the ambience is still calming and peaceful. Easy to walk around and to window shop relaxingly. The eateries are a lot and variety to choose from. Do take note that some of the eateries are among the favourites, so expect the queue especially at lunch hour.
Just nice not too crowded as other mall. Better. Need more famous outlet such as family mart, auntie anne, hot n roll and more.
This mall has been around for ages. Despite rising competition from new malls nearby like Empire and Sunway Pyramid, this place still manages to hold its own. There isnt much shopping to be done here, but if you prefer a quieter place to hang out, this is the place to be. Not empty and not crowded - just nice to pass your time away.
Pay a visit during the National Recovery Plan Phase 1 and saw many tenants already permanently closed and moved out. Many places are becoming vacant. The mall is very empty and only saw 5~10 patrons. Mostly only staffs is around. Besides, I couldnt see any hand sanitizer provided in the mall, a must especially during this pandemic times.
One of my favourite mall even its not a big mall but everything I need can be found. Notice that they have improved the food variety. Some store has relocated too. Love the shopping environment here. Good job for well maintained the mall.
Very clean and spacious area to walk. A lot of restaurant to dine in.
An old shopping mall but its still a very happening place. Theres a bookstore, a shop selling Islamic books and theres good coffee, clothes. Its a pleasant place to hang out. Its also quite near the Subang Airport.
This is basically a shopping mall. Across the road is yet another mall, AEON.Some of the eateries are good. I personally like the chicken rice shop. There are a few fast food restaurants which are pretty good.. Nandos, McDonalds and the one that I kind of liked was Kenny Rogers but when I was there about two weeks ago, I did not see it. I was there again very recently and I did see it.Generally speaking it has more food restaurants than say ten years ago. Starbucks stands out as it is at the entrance to the mall.I sometimes wonder why people spend a bomb on onesmall cup of coffee.Generally speaking, Subang Parade is a clean and an interesting mall to visit.
Akin one of my favourite malls. Been around for as long as I can remember, Shopping is pretty decent here. Though I won’t say aplenty choices, I can still pick up what I am looking for. Similarly, while there are choices to eatery, again said, quite limited. If you frequent this mall often, I guess you will run of choices on where to meal, especially on affordable eateries. Conveniently located at the heart of Subang Jaya, you won’t have trouble with public transport. Look out for best bargains during sales. It really worth it.
