Su Tomyam in Kota Baharu

Excellent thai food. Pad thai is a staple food for me over the years, but this is one of the best Ive had for a while. Seafood is fresh. Despite the name, the tomyam is not that great. Butter prawns were late and never arrived, but the food was so good and cheap, I cant give it less than 5 stars.

Price very reasonable and puas hati makan. Service okay, waiting time 20-25 minute for food. Understood as i went on public holidays. Overall okay. Just susah nak cari parking.

Wait for 1 hour however did not get my order. Worst service. The manager replied, " too many customer cannot prepare your order." Other table get their order first. Very poor management.

Very slow service, staff is not helpfull and not friendly at all. My dishes got cold before i get the last menu that never came, and we ask for the rice but it come when everything was already cold. This is not happening just to me, but also beside me and behind me. They look so frustrated and even complain.

The drinks and lokcing were good and the staff are ok. But the food is kinda bad. the tomyam is a bit sweet and tastes more like milk. I ordered ayam goreng kunyit with some rice, but to my suprise the ayam goreng kunyit only got like 6 pieces of ayam bahagian tulang and joints (PRICE IS RM6.50). The service is a bit slow, cause we kinda had to wait for the plain rice to arrive when i saw people arriving after us already siap makan. Overall, i would say it is an experience that i wont be repeating cause the food is bad. Hence why it deserves 1 star.

1. The place allows you to make reservations and order in advance.. I noticed the tables located inside have reservations tag and foods are already served..2. Parking is horror.. so you gotta to arrive before 8pm..3. Tables are limited.. Plan your journey and be there before 8pm..4. Price wise, I find it reasonable.. Friendly portion, I love the fried bun as it offers an option to kids.. I love the tomyam.. various mushrooms and generous amount of seafood.. the drinks are surprisingly great; I ordered blended green tea.. Sotong Celup Tepung is awesome! The best.. worth the price..5. They are listed in Foodpanda and GrabFood..6. Again... SOP... Just be mindful of keeping your distance from others because others dont seem to bother on this anymore...

At least 1 star for very poor service. 1hour waiting for for the food still said "atas kuali".(1 hour)3 table after us done and finish. Really bad. Not recommended this place. Worst services.

We just ordered some Nasi Goreng Paprik, Kuew Teow Goreng and Mee Sup~The service is very very very slow, need to wait at least 1 hour to get any food.Saw some customers arrived late than us but got their food earlier~Not recommended at all if youre in a rush or youre hungry

what a bad luck, my mother with me arrived before maghrib, we just order tomyam, nasi goreng thai and nasi goreng daging pakapau… after about 20 minutes, only nasi goreng thai arrived, then we wait until 8:45 pm and still the other foods not arrive… then we are very frust, my mother go to pay for nasi goreng thai only and asking about why it take so long, there are some customer arrived very late but got their food very early… then guess what, the cashier reaction is like he mad at my mother….if you guys want to lepak-lepak and have very free time you can come here.. but if you are busy or dont have a much time to wait for 1 hour or maybe more than that.. so i dont recommend you to come here ✌🏻p/s: you can see there are many people here, and most of them got their food eventhough they come later than us- i also saw some table just got telur dada only😂

This restaurant is always crowded with people, so decided to dine in here. The table and seating are good, plenty of table to serve the crowd. However my chicken chop with fried rice is ust normal, nothing special. The gravy quite bland, chicken breadcrumbs also a bit over fried. The fried rice is so frustrating, taste tumeric over powered, couldnt taste anything else. Lucky the soup is bland can counter the powerful tumeric taste. For price of RM8, other restaurants can do better than this, sorry to say. Referring to the restaurant name, this restaurant maybe famous for its tom yum i guess thats why the western food is frustrating. Overall im just feel full but not happy with the food. Will come again to taste their tom yum.

The food is good and very delicious. There are plenty and variety of cuisine that you can choose from. Western, thai, malay and korean food also! If you want to eat here, you have to be a little bit patient, because there are so many people that eat here, expect for late food.

Last night, I ordered food (nasi gorengx1at 11:00pm. There was a heavy rain outside, the waiter(boytold me to wait in the car then he will come and bring it to me, im just like okay. But after wait for so long long long time which is 11.40pm, so i decided to go walk out of my car to ask by myself either my food finish or not. Suprising me, the food is ady finished! While the boy who ask me to wait in the car tgh lepak2 isap rokok+kedai at that time x ramai pun org. Please double check cust order so they dont have to wait 40minutes for 1 nasi goreng. But lucky the food was good reduce my anger

The food is damn good but the service is quite slow. Sotong telur masin, daging harimau menangis, teh beng madu, and miang pla are my top picks from the restaurant. It can be quite packed on the weekend so be sure to make a reservation beforehand.

Food is great. But when you guys got crowded customers, must stay alert. And always double check with customers regarding their food and drinks. For ordering system please do train ur staff about that. Regarding food and beverage, it’s was great. Keep it up. One more thing make sure do follow the SOP. One of the best restaurant located at Kubang Kerian area in Kota Bharu. Served local and western cuisines. Please all come here and feel the atmosphere.😄😄

Many choices here either local or Western foods. Super duper crowded mostly on a weekend night and Public Holiday. Sometimes, to locate the nearest car park quite difficult. Most customers come in a large group or family. Tried their signature dish - Tomyam. was too sweet while local side dish - Perut Bulat Goreng was too salty for our tastebuds. Not really like it. However the Fish and chips, taste OK.

The service sometimes good sometimes average. But most of the food is fantastic. Really wide spread of thai fusion food and plenty of choice to look up to. Just delicious meal in short.

Scrumptious! The portion is a bit small. You should try the tomyam, any kind you like. The soup is delicious! And teh beng madu is very sweet. If you are a sweet tooth, definitely try it. Price is not pricey. Worth the visit.

Parking spaces are limited and it is full almost every night. Would be helpful if you manage to give them a call half an hour earlier to order. However, we enjoy their sup perut bulat air asam and salted egg calamari very much that we become their regular.

I dont have a frame of reference, but the Thai food here is really good, maybe close to the original one in Thailand. I tried the phadkapau, its really nice.

The fish was overcooked. Prawn butter was sweet. Daging masak merah was too oily and we even found our seafood tomyam a bit sandy. Kailan ikan masin was too salty. And beverages are all too sweet. Like triple sweet on top of all. I know i complaint too much but if you were in my shoes ull feel the same.

the service depends on how many customers they have on that night . if there is a lot of customers, your order might finish a little bit late but overall is okay . the foods are delicious and teh ais madu is a must

Yes, read the restaurant name has a word, Tomyam. The name is not just a name, the restaurant always satisfied my craving for tomyam. All type of their tomyam, who ever have tasted them, sure will be mouth watery. They not just serve tomyam, there are also variety of dishes. They also serve Western foods. One more dishes named as Daging Harimau Menangis (direct translation: Tiger Cries Meat), is actually a great tasty roasted meat after marinade in special sauce for atleast 3 hours. You should give a try!!!

Food is good. Ironically i think the tomyam is not as good as the nearby competitors. But the wait, gosh multiple times had to wait. 1hour plus for my food. Otherwise great delivery service.
