Studebakers Pizza in Gatesville

Pizza is always good. Subs need a little help. Ice cream is good. They need to keep bananas by the dozens. They are still doing the remodel as you can see the sheet rock by the ice cream bar, and there is a space by the restroom that needs to be cleaned up, but it has come a long way. They really need to put money into the parking lot!!

Studebakers is always amazing.The food is excellent, the servers and delivery people are amazing, the owners are the coolest people on the planet.Service is always good and the dine in environment is always fun.

This is a great pizza and sub place. Everything my group hot was awesome. Friendly staff. They have TVs, Beer, games too

The service I received at studebakers was awful, there was a blonde high school aged female and her service was trash, she rushed us to order, then wasn’t listening to my order which I had to repeat multiple times. I also witnessed multiple orders get fulfilled when they ordered after me. I ordered a pasta dinner with meat balls and when I returned home and opened the pasta it didn’t have meat balls. Very disappointed in the overall service I received. Also expensive $17 for a pasta. 1/5 stars because 0/5 wasn’t a option.

Pizza was delicious! Crust was perfect. Generous toppings. Nice clean environment. Family friendly. Staff was friendly. Will go again when Im in that area. Well done guys!

Best pizza Ive ever had!! We had the Stinger with extra thin, extra crispy crust. The crust held up to all the toppings and was well cooked throughout. I really hate a sloppy, wet pizza and this was definitely not that! Ill be back!

Ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, and it was super delicious!!!! I will definitely be a returning customer. One of the better pizza spots I have eaten at!

Music was playing loudly, so decided to buy credits for the TouchTunes and when I played Drake the music was turned down immediately to where you basically couldn’t hear it. I also heard one of the ladies ask one of the other workers if she had put that music on right before they turned it down. If they didn’t want that type of music played they shouldn’t have it in their jukebox and just made me waste $20 worth of credits on it.

I bought 3 pizzas a large supreme a large pepperoni and a chocolate pizza. My total was 60.98 on 10/01/2022 then today my total was 66.98? I didnt tip my old lady didnt tip because of the lady that took are order was rude and the lady that delivered it was rude. I have never had a problem with this place ever. The pizza is fantastic but Im truly amazed how a 6 dollar tip was added to my receipt for some reason. I called the Gatesville police as well to fill out a report. I know it 6 dollar so why complain at all because I work for every dollar I make and still do. Stealing is Stealing and shouldnt be excepted at anytime. They said they are refunding my 6 dollars. But you shouldnt have to look at your statements everytime you order food. Im just lucky that my account updates me everyday. Yes Im posting this to make everyone aware that this might have happened to yall.

Pizza delivered was completely smooshed into the corner of the box .... a big pile of pizza quite messy.

Totally surprised me by their new complete makeover !! GREAT layout and always delicious !! Fun for the whole family with big screen TVs , gameroom, and of course the always popular BLUE BELL treats! And ALL THIS is IN ADDITION to the multiple selections of incredible choices of food to choose from !! Service was outstanding as well !!👍👍 and 5⭐️s

The pizza was absolutely delicious. We stopped for lunch last Saturday after a volleyball tournament in Gatesville. Ordered 2 large pizzas which were more than enough to take home and have left overs for dinner. What a hidden gem for people that are not from that area. Great service as well. We will definitely go back next time were in the area.

Can get busy at times but staff always friendly and pizzas are great. To me its all about a crispy crust and Studebaker never misses on that! Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza is my favorite.

Ive never been here but it looks amazing and I can tell that its been vouched for by my number two Pizza taste he lives in a world class Pizza City and he eats Jets and Little Caesars

Great pizza we love their Pizza the only tough part about it is her phone system a lot of times you cant get through to place an order they are constantly busy especially on the weekends they refurbish the place it looks great but their phone system like I said needs some work bad

The pizza is great. There setup is really cool with ice cream and a draft drink system with plenty of choices.

Best restaurant we have ate at so far in Gatesville. We are visiting for 3 weeks, from Indiana. Only one complaint, we ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. We got a pineapple and sausage pizza, so the kiddos just picked of the pineapple. Other then that everything was delicious.

Excellent stop! Fast service. Great tasting pizza. Draft beer & sodas. Arcade games & Blue Bell Ice Cream. & clean restrooms.

Craft beer on tap. Prepay serve yourself. By the ounce so you can try as many as you want. Good pizza. Dont set next to front doors when busy, or you will be hot. Lots of drinks on tap as well. Pepsi ! Its a work in progress, so dont judge. Very friendly staff. Its nice to see a small local business surviving in Bidens economy. Will definitely return. Good luck to the owners ! Best mom and pop pizza shop in central Texas. My family cant eat pork and the owner will let us bring them turkey pepperoni to use on our pizza before they make it. Loyal customer for years. No place better.

Don’t waste your money here. These people don’t know how to run a business, or how to handle their money. Had too many friends that worked there tell me about how they were treated and the bad conditions they had to work in. And it’s starting to show now that they had to close their belton location…hmm I wonder why. They also try to blame the rising cost of materials on their price rates but I can go get a little Caesars pizza for six dollars…..

This is a family owned business. There food is delicious and addicting. I pride myself on enjoying a pizza made at a higher standard than the "quick and cheap" pizza. Quality is second nature to these folks and I would highly recommend this Pizza

Studabakers salads have the same amount of veggies and extras on it(not all lettucesuper good & dressing is Amazing, pizza is yummy as well as the buffalo wings. Staff is friendly and aware of food safty handling. Maybe due to such good business hopefully one day a drive through only @ another location of course in Gatesville.

Friendly service. My salad was fresh crisp and served in a chilled bowl with homemade ranch dressing. My pizza was delicious! Made as I ordered, served right out of the oven. Im a thin crust gal and they do it right. Wonderful locally owned and operated business.

Not pleasing. Ordered the carnivore x-large with extra cheese. Hardly any cheese on it let alone extra cheese, but was charged the 5.50 for extra cheese. Counted the meats and only had 4 different types of meat. Will not be ordering from them again. Very disappointed..

Pizza was good, service was friendly and quick. Even brought my to-go pizza out to me while I was waiting on the bench outside, so I didnt have to walk in and check to see if it was ready. If Im back in the area and hungry for pizza, Ill likely be back.

Not sure how to leave this review. I like Studebakers Pizza. I telephoned my order from Temple for pickup. When I arrived 30 minutes later, I was told my order was still in the oven. So, I waited for 15 minutes until someone asked my name again. They checked again and found it on the counter. So I was handed the pizza and sent on my way. The pizza was very good as usual although cold. We will chalk it up to a (hopefullyrare mistake, avoid a terrible review, and try again another time.

I was in Gatesville for a couple days and was craving pizza. Thought I would try a local place instead of one of the big chains....and I was NOT disappointed. This is, without a doubt, the BEST PIZZA that I can remember eating. Please get your pizza from these guys...you will LOVE it!!! ❤

Studebakers is delicious! Their pizza is always made with fresh ingredients and it shows in the taste! Their service is always slow, but in my opinion, quality ingredients are worth waiting for. I would recommend them to anyone. Especially the chicken bacon ranch pizzas!

Thanks again SP!P.S. The driver was extremely nice and fast.Update** Studebakers returned my call this afternoon and has offered to resolve the issue. It was a busy night and there was confusion with the delivery. I have upgraded to two stars following the call. Stay tuned for final rating...Ordered pizza at 7:05pm. Called at 8:50 and was told it was out for delivery. At 9:20 no one answered the phone. No one called when out for delivery as I was instructed. No dinner tonight. I will say that the pizza is great, but the service is less than one star, it just wouldn’t let me leave a zero star rating.

For those of us on a serious no or low carb diet . Studebakers Pizza will serve you up a crustless pizza any style. Still have your favorite pizza with out the carb crash. All you have to do is say: I would like a no crust or crust less whatever pizza you desire.Example: you used to eat a meat lovers pizza.(Thats the one featured in the picture)You just order: a whatever size crust less meat lovers pizza please. Then tada they just make it up for you.

Ate lunch here today and the pizza is on point. I ordered a stinger and it was Soooo good and the staff was very nice and helpfulBelow is a piece of stinger. I highly recommend!!

Pizza was good and so was dessert. Liked that they made a half and half pizza for us. The vegetarian pizza had balsamic vinegar base so it was a bit moist.

We came here with the intend of getting a dessert pizza, but all of us ordered different dinner pizzas to get as many options as possible. All were very delicious! We also ended up trying the ice cream, which was a great selection! On top of it, we still got our dessert pizza, which was everything we expected and more! We all left very satisfied, and so stuffed that we didnt want to eat the next day!

We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. It was amazing! The ranch based sauce was perfect, not overly ranch flavored. Their cheesy bread was as big as a pizza and tasted wonderful. These guys were awesome enough to deliver a banana split to our hotel room! Definitely a must if anyone wants pizza! Only down was that they dont have a website, had to find their menu on facebook.

Salad and margarita pizze was great and there was a special deal on Mondays.
