Streetside Crêperie - Crêperie in Conway, United States
The food is good, but the service was awful. They have no system in place for seating people in the order in which they arrived. Multiple people arrived, and several people got upset that customers who had just walked up received a table instantly over the people who had been waiting. They have expanded seating to the Toad Store next door, but if you’re sitting in this annex, you are completely forgotten. It took us almost an hour to be served, and that was after we reminded them that our food wasn’t out yet. To which the cook replied, “oh. Well, we’re about to start making it.” They never checked for refills, never apologized for the wait or not checking on us. The owners should really be ashamed of how their business is being run. My conviction to support local businesses runs deep, but somehow this place managed to break even the most loyal of local patrons. Avoid at all costs. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. Spend it with someone who cares.
Great place! If you’ve not tried it you’re missing out!!!
I took the drive up from Little Rock yesterday because so many people were raving about this little crepe place in Conway. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is wonderful, the place was very clean and the wait staff was delightful. I also met the new owner of the place, I believe her name is Taylor and she is so professional and kind, making sure everyone has the experience they’re looking for. The crepe I got was very very good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!
Friendly staff! Great coffee and would highly recommend the pesto crêpe
Would definitely return here. Busy little small business. Found the coffee cold brew drinks to be really over sweet.
Waiter is slow in taking orders, wait time between ordering and being served is too long. They pre made crepes and still have issues serving undercooked dishes.
We really liked the crepes. We tried Nutella with bananas and crème de la fruit with strawberries. Service was super friendly and quick. The crepes were a little spongy but that’s most dessert crepes. I’d try the savory ones next time, they looked crispy.
I had really high expectations for this place when we walked in and we were warmly greeted by a super sweet girl but when we sat down we waited around 15 minutes to be greeted. when we asked about a server the man said “oh i forgot.” he took our order eventually and while our crepes were being made there were 3 people standing in the kitchen area doing nothing and one person working. we got there at noon and didn’t get our food (we only had 2 crepes totaluntil 12:50 and one of them wasn’t even prepared correctly. it was not busy so there is no excuse and i am server at a restaurant myself so i get it and everything but this was ridiculous. very slow very poor service. we will not be back.
Honestly really impressed. Good coffee selection, tight food menu and friendly staff. Had the Nested Eggs Benny(might not be correct namewhich had fluffy potato hash and perfectly cooked egg with hollandaise. Partner had eggs Benedict which comes on a crepe, also awesome. And shared a fruit crepe with strawberry and blueberry which was stuffed beautifully in a substantial and delicious crepe. Fast service, you can pay when you order which means no waiting for check, and you can tell the dishes are made with care and good presentation.
The food and customer service are both amazing!!! Good vibe in the store too. Check it out! I’ll definitely be back. 🙂
Very, very slow service and when my food finally showed up, it was cold.We were a party of three and visited for the first time on a Sunday morning at 11:15. With all of the positive reviews I was looking forward to a great meal experience. We even wandered out of our normal circles to give this place a try.Slow: First, they were busy and we waited a few minutes to be seated. From the time we were seated until our food was served was 42 minutes.Cold Food: I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it showed up looking like the pictures, but at room temperature. Not slightly warm, but cold room temperature as if it had been sitting out for quite a while. After one bite I couldn’t eat any more…. Revolting. For me, a cold runny egg is a deal breaker. I asked if they had a microwave oven to heat it up, but no. So there it sat missing one bite. They apologized and offered me a card for 20% off my next visit. I told them I wasn’t paying for something so unappetizing I couldn’t eat it and they finally took (most ofthe price off my bill. After my experience I don’t think I will have a need for that 20% discount card. Bottom line: VERY DISAPPOINTED.After almost an hour of time wasted, I left this restaurant searching for a place to get a bite to eat.
The food was fair quality based on price, but the service and cleanliness was lacking.
The crepes are really good! I wish there had been two on the plate. But I eat a lot. The coffee was amazing!
What a great atmosphere in this establishment. Even has a small area to enjoy eating out side. Very friendly staff. Busy. Food was fresh and very good! Many vegetarian friendly options.
Asked for the morning lover, got a ham and cheese. Im a vegetarian, so I couldnt eat it, but I really wouldnt have minded if it didnt look and feel like a rubber chicken damp with pasta water.Strawberry cream one was simple, but fine aside from a couple of rough parts that I almost choked on.No snide remarks about the free cup of water they gave me, tasted great!
Amazing crepe and nice little place. Definitely should try
super small place but delicious crepes & good coffee!
I am obsessed with the Cinnamon roll crepe but I order the Oatmeal and it’s literally hot milk poured over raw oats nothing else unless you ask besides the fruit
Order to pick up order from them over the phone, had never been there so the ordering process was very awkward. Was also surprised at how expensive it was. The food was good but just sort of strange how they decided to plate it. Also felt like it was overpriced for the actual food you get. Also the dessert I got was not very good in general.
Everything I have ever ordered from this cute little hole in the wall in downtown Conway, AR has been delicious. Get there early or just be prepared to wait awhile but lemme tell yall, it is always worth the wait! So far, my very favorite item on their menu is the Monté Cristo crépe. It is oh so divine!
Happy, tasty sort of place with character and very nice crepe menu. Good beverage selection. We had a side walk table Sunday brunch, lovely.
Delicious and varied options. A great spot for breakfast or brunch with tons of seating options. Coffee is excellent. I recommend the carrot cake crepe, perfection!
Streetside Creperie is absolutely awesome! The staff is friendly! The creme de la fruit crepe is my absolute favorite. For those that havent tried Think coffee, you definitely need to try Streetside Creperie because you get the BEST of both worlds. T.H.I.N.K. Hot Chocolate is the best! It is well worth the 45 minutes just to have it this morning.
Took two new people here and they were pleased. I had the grilled cheese and the cinnamon roll crepe. Nice combination, though a bit too sweet for me. The tart cream did help. The others had breakfast crepes for lunch. We all had Italian soda, even the sugar free vanilla.
This is what’s left of my delicious crepe. I had the Morning Lover’s crepe with pepper jack cheese and Louisiana hot sauce and a brainiac coffee to go with it. Best ever.
Great savory and sweet crepes - we got the sweet cream with strawberries and an eggs Benedict one. The Brainiac ice coffee and lavender Italian soda were yummy too.Parking was confusing though. Dont bother looping around the shop - just use the on street parking.
I would’ve considered it 5 stars when the new owners took over but in the last month the quality has gone down significantly. The food is great which is why they get 3 stars but the atmosphere does not always feel welcoming. The past 3 times I’ve gone, I’ve heard the workers complain about certain customers or the influx of business. I understand it can be frustrating but this should not be said loud enough for customers to hear. I also do not think it is a good business practice to do to go orders only, starting an HOUR before closing. This happened twice when there was nobody at the shop (probably for that exact reason). I understand there are circumstances where this may need to occur but when there is no one at the shop, it’s unacceptable. I will not longer be coming to this business because I don’t feel welcome. I love their food but not enough to keep going and feel unwelcome.
Amazing food. Great 👌 atmosphere!
A nice little creperie shop in the middle of downtown Conway. Coffee is decently priced but the crepes are a bit on the expensive side ($8-$12). The less expensive crepes are definitely worth it though as they are decently sized. They also gave us a 20% off card when we finished eating! The overall place has a nice ambience but there is very little seating so try to go when its not busy.
We were told while ordering that they were out of strawberries, but it wasn’t until 45 minutes after our orders had been placed that the staff said that they were also out of bananas which is a little ridiculous considering that those outages eliminate about half the menu. We were then told that we could receive a “free upgrade” to other items (which would be only $.75 off), but clearly no one had begun making our food yet and we didn’t want anything savory. The experience was really negative especially given that we were there for nearly an hour waiting, and none of our group will be returning.
The atmosphere is quite nice, and the food was really good. Everything is literally a crepe. Hash browns? Crepes. Morning Salad? Crepe. BLT? Crepe. The only downside, which may be in part that we werent expecting the pricing to be what it was, is that things were expensive. I went with two people and the bill was $50. This is the place to go for splurging, not for casual eating.
Passing through town and I am absolutely convinced I choose the best restaurant in conway to have breakfast, the creme de la fruit with strawberries was incredible and criminally under priced for its quality. Their macchiato was simple with out any bells or whistles but their expresso bean had a smooth flavor and showed excellent craftsmanship. Wonderful service and great atmosphere for such a tiny cafe.
The best!! Such a cute little restaurant in downtown Conway. I absolutely love their crepes and their coffees. This is the strawberry Nutella crepe, but their banana Nutella crepe is also just as delicious. A must try in Conway for brunch🤩 don’t worry- they also have savory crepes!
Always love coming by Streetside! Staff is friendly, food is local and delicious! Coffee is great! My faves are the monte cristo and the eggs benedict. You cant go wrong with lemon sugar, either! Their spring chicken salad is to die for!
We are spoiled with a legendary creperie in our hometown, so we are picky on crepes. The atmosphere and set up of this shop is cute and trendy, but very small. The employees were all super nice, and the prices seem on point for gourmet crepes. Very unimpressed with the savory one, but their sweet crepes were enjoyable. A little heavy and thick, but good. The salad was good, I just wish the cheese would have been a little better quality, it was a piece of cheddar slice, broken instead of fresh crumbles or shreds, but the quality of everything else was good. The drip coffee was slightly too hot, almost burnt tasting, they may have done better on espresso based drinks. Over all good, but nothing to write home about.
I had one of the specials of the day, Carrot Cake. It was very delish and not overly sweet. I love the fact they use locally sourced food for their crepes. The Rob-tado was great, just wish it was in a coffee mug instead of a rocks glass. I think its great they use mason jars for thei water. The staff was super friendly, too. We had driven by this place quite a bit, but they were always so busy and they dont have very much space inside. We went mid-morning on a weekday which was a slow time for them.
The food was delicious and the robtado was just sweet enough without going too sweet. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.
We ordered everything and almost made ourselves sick... in a good way.Everything is good. If it’s on the menu and it calls to you, order it. That’s the best advice I can give you.Oh. Order an iced Rob-Tado.
Great little find!!! The food and service were great. They even have gluten free options. Large variety of crepes to choose from.
This is such a cute place. The crepes are fantastic. My friend and I had the cinnamon roll crepe and creme de la fruit with strawberries.
Great, independent restaurant for breakfast and brunch. Service was excellent along with tasty coffee and delicious breakfast.
You cannot go wrong with either the strawberry créme de la fruit or the bacon loaded hash! Pair them with a chai tea latte and youre starting your morning RIGHT!
Loved the gluten free crepe with fresh local blueberries and a light lemon curd. Plus, super nice people there.
So Quaint!! Love the atmosphere of Streetside. My Crêpe was fantastic! They offer free WiFi which was great to get some work in while eating breakfast! Can’t wait to go here again!
Excellent food and service! Top notch quality! Great place for breakfast. Price is high for breakfast but it’s definitely above average.
Ok so I have been hearing about this place for a week and so I was downtown and had 30 mins for lunch so I decided to pop in. First things first if your in a hurry go in with the understanding this is not fast food (Lunch is busy for them, and since they are made from scratch there is a little waiting to be done for the crepesbut its worth the wait... I took mine to go.If your not in a hurry and love locally sourced great tasting food then by all means go enjoy..I had the BLT and man were the tomatoes great! Juicy fresh Arkansas tomatoes.I couldnt pass up the peanut butter, Nutella, honey and banana crepe... Man was it really good. In my picture its not pretty but the taste make it worth the mess!So stop by and enjoy yourself some great food. Just remember its not fast food... Its good food made from scratch!
Is it possible to be criminally delicious? If so, get these guys arrested pronto. Love the seasonal food options, and basically everything about the place (seating is limited, though, so you might want to avoid peak meal times if you dont plan on walking around the other shops with your crepes.)
The atmosphere was great. The joint is small and quirky but exactly what youd expect for an "eat local" experience. Lots of neat touches. They have a table right out front for outside dining, and a few small tables inside for hanging out, listening to records on the record player, trying your hand at creating art with their chalkboard wall, or just sitting and watching your crêpe come to life in the kitchen/back half of the cafè.We came in and were immediately greeted and told "how it works", were handed menus and then left to decide our food and drinks. We settled on the seasonal menu and came up to the counter to order. We then sat and listened to Louie Armstrong on the record player while we waited on a Bobrookes Pumpkin Pie crêpe and Pumkpin Spice Lattè for me and a Yam Ham Cheddar Slam and Vanilla Cappuccino for my daughter.Long story short...IT WAS DELICIOUS. The proprietors were friendly and the experience was great. Will be coming back to Streetside Crêperie!
The staff was absolutely wonderful and if I had a question they took the time to explain it to me. And the FOOD was amazing!!! It was so good, I had the stuffed hash brown crep and it was perfect!! And as you can tell by the picture I ate it all!! And my husband had the Monte Carlo crep with blackberry sauce, and as with my picture, you can tell that he ate his all gone also!!
This charming shop blessed my soul. You walk in to vinyls playing, a greeting as soon as you hit the door, and the smell of crêpes being perfected and made with love. I enjoyed the savory/sweet Monte Cristo for lunch...totally give it a 10/10. Also, Rob was extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming...I was impressed to find out the inspiration for this place and how they resource locally. Totally groovy.
