Airy indoor mall featuring shopping & dining, as well as a carousel & other entertainment.
Wow...Stratford square mall is the most pathetic mall I ever seen...90% of the stores are empty and dark...I get it, the economy...but, woodfield mall is hopping...cant even find a decent parking spot its so crowded, people are out shopping...Stratford is just run terribly...poor management...sad sight to see, this mall used to be nice.
Woodmans is great! Check it out at least once. Lots of choices for everyone!
Not much to say there. This mall is dead. There are a few stores.
My First time I came here was 09/2022 to buy salvadorian 🫓 pupusas at Ana’s Kitchen they were good 👍. I love the construction of this mall it is so nicely done. I was amazed with the look of this mall it’s so different in a good way, but they only have like 3 stores open all the other stores are closed some of them empty for rentals. To the owner of this mall please do more promotions so people like me can know that there is a beautiful mall waiting for them to open a store. In my 30 years living in Chicago never knew there was this mall 🤭 hopefully and sad I know now. Please REOPEN THIS MALL SOOoooon. !!!!! pLEASe.
Its an great environment for walking and to bring children, especially when its cold or otherwise inhospitable. There are however very few stores in which to offer your patronage, yet the stores that remain offer their wares and services for reasonable rates.
They got pretty designs and good quality selection of clothes. Shoes and clothes are branded and the prices are fair and reasonable. It was a great deal and the kids love what I got for them. I highly suggested this Kids Foot Locker store if you wanted amazing shoes, clothes and other stuffs for kids!
It has had a good selection of stores. Covid lock downs have been detrimental to these places.
I go to Stratford Square Mall and I enjoy exercising there !!! People are really nice.
if youre a dead mall/liminal space enthusiast, this is the place for you.i came here to get a cd album from fye, and when i realized the mall was almost completely empty, i decided to go explore a bit. i got some very nice photos, so here they are. 10/10 would come again.
Thank You for letting me stay over night. Love shopping at your mall. Spent $80 @ Khols. Ate at your food court $22 shop at woodmans $157 could have done more if I had more time. I haven’t finished your mall but now I know you are here. I will have to come more often to get my shopping in. TY
I come here very often with my 2 year old daughter. Its nice ND quiet. but can we please get this child proof asap!? too much space for safety of children. outside of kohls 2nd floor.
Five stars for the pre COVID Stratford / one star for the 2022 Stratford. Investors really messed up on this one, the removal of ROUND ONE and the THEATRE absolutely destroyed the mall there is no point coming here anymore
My conclusion on this mall it’s not a mall, it’s a close collection of stores if they are even open. There is no life there is no buzz no children running or screaming. Older people aren’t walking around looking at the youth, groups of teens coming to hangout and walk around can’t be found, no smell of popcorn form the movies, no aroma from the Cinnabon, absolutely nothing. Only one thing to describe this “mall”dead.
Had a hard time finding polling place. A worker helped me out and walked me part of the way to it. Thank you kind sir. Polling place rep told me they only allow them to put up 1 sign and its right in front of the entrance but its hard to see from road. Why does the mall restrict polling signage when youre an official polling location? Makes no sense.
It used to be such a great mall nothing is open anymore the Kohls is still very nice FYE was nice the rest of them were closed
Mall is dead. Only good stores are Finishline and Footlocker. Thats about it.
This place should really be torn down. It’s an eye sore. Most if not all of the anchor stores are gone. The parking lot and loop around the mall are a complete mess. About the only thing worth going there for is the grocery store and a restaurant or two.Really sad to see this as once back in the day, this was a very nice mall. A sign of the times
With Great steak, Sarku Japan, and Ana’s kitchen left I can tell you one thingDO NOT EAT AT SARKU! They cook meat only one time in the day and it’s at 12 pm and they let it sit on the grill for the remainder of the day . Extremely dirty. Extremely unsanitary. They refuse to give you fresh meat. Which means they probably don’t have any. they probably reuse the same meat that they don’t sell COOKED the next day.Very bad service . The lady and the guys that work there REFUSE to make fresh food . They claim because it’s sitting on the grill it’s fresh! TERRIBLE !
Wow brand new woodman’s grocery store very clean store and wide aisles too. They have a box of 18 eggs for $2.49 on sale now 😊👍😍
The mall is very much dead at this point. Nevertheless, I still enjoy coming here with my parents to walk around it some weekends to reminisce some of the old stores that used to be there and how busy it used to be. Its more like a walking track now rather than a mall! During the winter months or whenever its too hot, too cold, or too rainy to walk or stroll outside this is a great place to just get in some steps. Hopefully, something can be done ASAP about this beautiful place though!
Although I was there to volunteer for Feed my hungry children, which was amazing. There arent many stores open. Dont like seeing that in our malls.
I work at Stratford. I love this mall. Ive been shopping and working here off and on since 1987. Unfortunately, its fallen on hard times and Im not sure its going to survive.
The whole mall is so empty. Creepy. Sad. Not sure how much longer the businesses and the mall can survive.
This use to be a nice place to go but since all of the good stores left and the theatre is closed I just got for the food court.
This mall looks really sad 😞 there were no traffic really empty (no peoplestore are still open but no people inside.Hope we can all come and supporting this business
Please Bloomingdale do something to save Stratford. It’s such a gem 😢 I’ve been going there since 2003. It is literally a ghost town now.Build apartments on the lot…something 😞 Honestly, I know it might be the point of no return at this point…it’s been neglected for too long. Also, we’ve got Netflix and Amazon now, so…Maybe make it into a hotel/resort.
I used to go her all the time when I was younger now it is SUPER dead all the stuff shut down I only go there cause there is this k pop album store. I remember all the times going on the car thing with my brother. Running around in the play center. Im tearing up Lol
I am saddened to say this, the mall is no more...what I mean by that is there is a total of 7 businesses that are still open here, 4 of them are food related, 3 of which are in the food court, and the last 1 is the standing alone Red Robin. It is just unfortunate that all these businesses have folded under, and nothing has taken their place, so the entire mall is empty and all the places u could go in and check out are closed and GATED shut! You can only literally just walk around the mall. The only real store that you are able to shop in is Khols. I have posted multiple pictures of my visits there and every time I have gone the place is just....EMPTY. If it wasnt for the Khols and Red Robin still being funded corporately the mall would most likely be closed for good. And with the Brand New Woodmans that was just built in the parking lot of the mall, no one knows that Red Robin or Kholsis open. I just feel terrible about the mall, 2 out of 10....sad day for malls.
I used to love this mall so much. Dont get me wrong, I still like it but its so dead and empty now. It used to be so full and alive but theres barely any stores there. The only reason why we go there is for the food court. Hopefully, they get more stores back in there again :(
Love the wonderful way dead it is. Not the best determination of stores but rather it has enough to keep me engaged. Ill generally favor this put over Woodfield dependent on the fact that it is so helpful to walk 3 feet without finding somebody. I will continue to come here until the day it closes
Ok, Im old school & I sometimes want to actually go to a store & see & touch my purchases. The mall shoppers are scarce, but were still consumers & I usually find what I want Kohls.
Update 8/9/21- Mall is almost completely empty. All that remains is Kohls (you cannot enter from the mall), Burlington (1/3 the size it used to be- I’m sure it will close when it’s inventory is gone), Red Robin, HotTopic, an Axe throwing place, an escape room, and a jewelry store. Maybe I kissy animal riding thing. That’s it, in the whole mall. Theatre is folly one, around one is gone. Woodmans is now open but not connected to the mall. Will anchor stores come back now that more people are in the area?Very empty. Ice skating rink in a store? 2 escape rooms? Two T-Mobiles within throwing distance? Very odd arrangement of stores. Lots were locked up an hour or more before closing time. Bad food court, never really been a fan of any of the restaurants there. Red Robin, Kohls, an overpriced movie theater (do people go here? I always looks closedand a limping Burlington Coat Factory keep this mall open. Quite sad.
Great for seniors who enjoy the walk in an A/C environment. But due to the pandemic the place that was once bumpin with "kids stuff" and pKohls "type places for ma", the place became very quiet. I cant complain due to the current times and circumstances but hope it makes a come back.
Used to be a good mall but has been neglected and is just slowly dying. Never a crowd but also not many stores since most have closed. I dont see a rivial coming despite what some hopeful folks think. On the bright side the movie theater is cheap. There is some weird charm about it still, shame. I enjoy the architecture a lot.
Shame . This place is abandoned. Dont even bother going to the mall. Everything is abandoned on the top level and only few stores remaining on the lower level
It’s a good mall just needs a bit more stores and another arcade/bar. I hate that it’s not pet friendly I live so close to Stratford but I have to go to York town mall instead when I want to walk my dog and do some shopping at the same time.
Love how dead it is. Not the best selection of stores but it has enough to keep me entertained. I’ll always prefer this place over Woodfield based on how convenient it is to walk 3 feet without bumping into someone. I’m going to keep coming here until the day it closes
It was already dying, but the fact that they closed Round1 back in October, and now Cinemark some time last month, really killed it. Those were the only two exciting, frequently busy places it had left. Awful, awful decision to close them. It still has Red Robin, Fye, Hot Topic, Too Cool, as well as an escape room and an axe throwing place, but those aren’t nearly enough to redeem or save it.
Would have been nice if all stores stayed open while the mall itself was open, not all but a lot of stores were closing 1-2 hours before the mall did. Why? Stores should operate the same hours as the mall itself otherwise go open a storefront somewhere. For a Saturday evening there was only a handful of people, probably cause stores close early. They used to have a play area for kids now you have to pay by the hour.
Used to like it here but now it feels like its dying. Only have about 60 percent of stores. New Harley Davidson store and the brewery not helping. Has a great arcade with bowling but doesnt seem to attract people. The movie theater is pleasant to bad it seems empty. Needs more younger crowd.
Went there in century theatres to see a film. I would say its worth the price, big auditorium with decent sound quality. The one which we were seated did not have recliner seating thats the reason tickets prices are also under 10 bucks.Although mall is nice, ample parking space nad fancy stores.Definitely recommend,Late night movies.
Havent been here in a few years. A mall in decline found new life with a brewery, bowling alley, and arcade.Good food court.
This is the best mall as far as kids and activities. There’s a bouncy house chu chu train skating rink wrestling area is party lounge Red Robin’s the movies and so much more. The shopping is great I love the Burlington coat factory it’s my favorite the foot locker has some great sales and deals for the entire family overall a great place to take the family for a chill shopping experience
This mall used to be packed with all major shops but it has very few shops left. You can watch the latest movies though at the theater. There are several kiddie activities if you want to be indoors, great for rainy days. Also a good place if you want to shop without dealing with crowds like other malls.
Nice mall. They have carousels and train for kids that goes around and are located in the lower level. The mall offer variety of stores and stuff for kids to enjoy. If you are by the area or close by check this out!
Great mall. Many stores and services for people of all ages. NOT crowded during the day. About eight fast food restaurants to choose from. MOVIE THEATER, ICE SKATING RINK, BOWLING ALLEY, ARCADE. FUN FUN FUN! Just make sure you bring a lot of money because youre not going to want to leave. Art made by community kids displayed near the food court. Massage chairs with charging usb ports available. Couches also available in different areas to rest from all your shopping.
I would say that this mall is underrated and to say that it is dying would be quite blown out of proportion. I have came here many times during my free time and I can say that the selection of stores is plentiful enough to have a shopping experience with little complaint. The theatre there is of decent quality although I would say the pricing is a bit high and the food court offers a selection that is decent in size. There are a few small size, great price convenience like stores scattered through the mall such as the newsstand and the dollar store, both of which offer items of food for little cost.
With the addition to the arcade and bowling alley, the place had certainly has come alive.
My kids love going to the mall. It has nice playing area. They love to ride the train and the carousel. There is a nice eating area and some gaming places. There are some stores which are doing well, though some stores have been closed recently. I like the movie theatre as well.
This mall isn’t bad, it isn’t great, but it isn’t bad. It’s not that crowded and has a really nice and fairly new movie theater! They also offer restaurants in the mall which is nice so you don’t have to leave the mall when you’re shopping. There aren’t as many chain stores as there used to be but that’s not necessarily a bad thing either as you get a lot more diversified options. There’s even a gaming spot you can play ping pong!
