The best place for traditional bulgarian food!Everything was absolutely delicious!The prices were average and the the waiters attitude was very professional, helpful and friendly.

Overrated. Highly overrated. I must have hit the worst choices on the menu because what we got was barely anything, barely warm and slightly worse than my local village restaurant on a bad day. I still have headache from that cheap wine they scored at Lidl (1 glassand that street dog they found a couple of weeks back. If your fetish is eating out of clay plates while being served by people dressed in hobo clothes definitely pay it a visit. I for once will stay away because I visit restaurants to eat, not j*** off.

I had dinner here with my wife. The staff it is very nice and took good care of us. Following the waiter recommendations we got a lot of things on the table ( as in the picture ). The food was delicious and enough. The price for everything from the table was 38 leva.

Food was good. Staff could be a bit better trained but in the end everything was ok.

The soups and salads were tasty, the fried food is a bit too greasy because they probably dont use paper towels to soak the excess fat/oil, and there were too many flies buzzing around and landing everywhere. On the other side service was good and atmosphere was nice and in traditional style. Maybe be in the evenings when the flies are gone I would rate it ****1/2

Nice ethno place. Hard to find place to stop a car. Attention - Green zone till 18:00 h.One very annoying facts no soups in the evening! What if you are great fan of so called "skembe chorba".

Absolutely Fantastic food and live music on the weekends. If youre in Gabrovo this is a must stop. Ive been coming here for 5 years, first and last restaurant when visiting.

Variety and taste were top! Prices are average. Nice traditional Bulgaria atmosphere with spacious place. I would recommend hiring a hostess (at least for the peak hours like lunchtime and dinnertimeto distribute the guests according to the vacant tables. Although we had made a reservation, it took the waitress around 5-10 minutes to find a table for us. This made a very negative and chaotic impression.

Nice place ideal no only for a dinner with your partner but also for families or groups of friends. Live traditional music and people spontaneously go to the middle floor to dance. A lot of fun. Food was good and generous. We enjoyed it. The staff, even not speaking English was friendly and willing to help. Just as a recommendation I would include a wine list in English language and allow payment with credit card. In restaurants like this is strange that this service is not provided.

Great atmosphere, selection and quality of the food. Quite spacious as well, I imagine it would be good for events. Service can be a bit bad though, they wanted to have us sit at a table out in the sun in a hot summer day, and then they kept forgetting what was ordered.

Even the prices are not low, the restaurant offer a good quality for food and services. The staff is very profesional and nice. Also, they have a nice ambiental traditional music.I feel very good in here.

Very good traditional restaurant, good service, good food, nice ambiente

This is the right place to try some traditional local dishes and taste gorgeous local wines and drinks. The venue is well located, in the old town centre. There is a lovely restaurant-garden which is very popular in the summer. The food is authentic and tasty, coming in big portions and at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly. On Friday and Saturday there is live music and the guests may do some local dancing. We fairly enjoyed doing that last night. Highly recommend!

Really good Bulgarian food inside a restaurant built in tradition architecture style of the late 19th century.Offers a range of Bulgarian wines.I recommend the grill part of the menu.The restaurant has no dedicated parking, but there are plenty of parking lots and parking spots along the street. It is walkable distance form the center and if it is really overbooked, there are other good restaurants around within 2-3 min walk.

Good restaurant with good and tasty bulgarian specific food. Its like a "han". It has a large interiour court and it is well placed in the city center of Gabrovo. Great food, good service, we will definetly come back here.
