Very nice and big beach. Water is pretty shallow, but quite warm, so not very swimming friendly, but its perfect for a family/group day at the beach.Not many stores around, bring snacks and other things from home or buy them in IJburg(from the last markt there is a 10 minute walk to the beach).

You are allowed to walk on very small part of it. Everything else is separated by high fences. Sad place.

Its Closed till May 2022 . Please plan your visit accordingly. It has one Japanese restaurant open inside so you can relax and have some Break even if beach is closed .

Very nice beach. These are main highlight of this place.- It has car and cycle parking facility.- Near the beach you have supermarket and restaurants.- On the beach they have snacks options, toilet and tap drinking water.- kids friendly beach

13Km from Cs Amsterdam, family beach, quite big beach, nothing for young let’s say music, bars etc. Just a big beach with shallow waters for kids and families. There is a lifeguards around all times to help etc

Nice sea beach but as on 10/03/2020 it was under construction, so no one is allowed to enter into the Sea. No swimming, No Surfing..!!Hope it will be open for all soon..

The beach closed down in October 2018, regret not checking first on Google after a 16km bike ride from Amsterdam West to get here 😂 the former site is now full of construction equipment. Dont bother wasting your time!

You can get here by tram in around 20 mins from Dam square. €3 one way..Beach is very clean and busy. Great restuarant and ammenities here also. Look out for the big spade and the path follows down to the beach.

Nice vibe to this place although the day we visited was super busy and the beach area was packed. There had been a festival the day and night before and a large part of the beach was closed off.Its on the tip of the furthest island in Amsterdam so it is a bit of a trek by bike and even the tram from the centre takes a while.Overall pretty good.
