Stopsley Surma in Luton

Disappointing. Chicken Madras was 5 tiny pieces of chicken in a watery sauce. The Bhuna sauce was a different taste and texture too, more like an onion gravy. It was very expensive too. It used to be a good takeaway but will not be using again.

Awful portions, £4.50 for a chicken tikka starter with 5 of the smallest cubes of chicken Ive ever seen!! Two samosa for £3.25 the size of a postage stamp, (probably from Icelands 🤣definitely not value for money and definitely wont be going back.

Very Disappointed, small portions and tasteless, seemed watered down and frozen then reheated. Not a cheap takeaway for two so expect much better quality! Certainly won’t be returning! Word of mouth will soon get around how poor it is now which is a shame really.

Dinner tonight was watery, tasteless, 5 bits of chicken per curry dish. Tastes like last nights leftovers reheated. It’s a shame because this used to be a brilliant take away. I won’t be going back here anymore

Little dissatisfied this evening to be fair..chicken tikka tough..unusual.. has happened recently..but to be fair..love these guys..but..not same food and taste recently..sorry..

Just had a Lamb garlic balti, the lamb was so tuff and chewy I couldnt eat most of it,very disappointing,I wont be ordering from here again

Was really looking forward to this place based off the reviews but was really not good. Chicken was very pink with lots of veins, pilau was tasteless and peshwari naan wasnt very coconut-y - all very bland. Got dips but no poppadoms - I dont know if they were forgotten or dont come complimentary but it was strange to have one without the other. Maybe just a bad day but I wouldnt go back or recommend. Sorry.

Really disappointed in this meal. Food arrived on time but very cold. It cost a lot of money and some of the portions were really small! The food was tasteless and the texture of the bhajis was awful, really tough and cold with no crunch at all! I thought this was meant to be an award winning restaurant?? Will definitely not be buying from here again! Feel quite ripped off!

Never had a bad meal from here always good and delivery always ontime as well in my opinion the best in the Stopsley area and beyond.

Couldnt fault the food in anyway .

Used to be best Indian takeaway by miles .Had a dhansak Friday, it was just a slightly hot chicken dish no real flavours, Im really sorry that theyve seemed to have lost it .If Im paying for it I expect decent quality every single time. Obviously different staff cooking different ways ut this isnt a cheap takeaway

Food is always amazing, never had a bad meal. Delivery is always quick, fresh and hot and delivery guys always polite and friendly even if I dont have time to give them a tip because they arrived before I had a chance to shut my dogs away n grab my purse!! Very happy customer!

Tasty Indian food authentic in flavour and preparation. I would highly recommend this place but note it is takeout only however they do deliver once you spend a certain amount

The food is absolutely amazing!You won’t believe until you taste,and despite being busy nights food is always delivered or ready for pickup on time.Cannot fault them.That’s why I’ve ordered from Surma on a number of occasions.Try Chicken Tikka biryani!Will continue ordering from them!

Order every week. Gradually gone downhillOrder was incorrect last week & this evening I ordered chicken dupiaza it tasted burnt onions over cooked & chicken dry. Most of it went in the bin.Time for a change of restaurant.Disappointing

Read about the takeaway in another restaurant. Thought Id try it and am I pleased I did. Wonderful flavours and original menu. Superb give it a try please.

Excellent food and well priced! I have now ordered from here twice (my usual Indian, who will remain anonymous, raised their prices to disgusting figures, so I decided to try Stopsley Surma), and on both occasions, the food has been great. Their chicken pathia (my favourite dishwas very delicious; it was sweet, sour and hot -- just how it should be! They have nice, polite delivery drivers, and the food is delivered promptly. I will certainly keep ordering from here for my Indian takeaways. Keep up the good work, guys!

Excellent takeaway. Ive ordered from Stopsley Surma on multiple occasions, via justeat, over the phone and also in person.The service staff are helpful and the delivery drivers are always incredibly friendly and polite.The best part about this place is the food. Its delivered piping hot and the smell washes over you as you open the bag, brilliant aromas from the curries and sides. Ive been given complimentary poppadoms and sides in the past.The range of curries is excellent as well as the choices of sides, breads, starters and rice is extensive, ranging from mild to very hot. Each dish cooked perfectly with volumes of flavour. Brilliant value for money.One of my favourite takeaways, and one of the best in Luton. I will continue to order in the future.
