Hiking, biking & outdoor pursuits, villages & resorts in the vast Stolowe Mountains National Park.
Best rock formations, trails and places to stay.
Breathtaking views - lovely placePerfect for hiking/ long walks / family holidayPlenty small restaurants near by,Amazing ice-creams, delicious traditional goat cheese ( oscypki )...Great attractions for kids - Dinosaur Park next to Gòry Stołowe
Super
There should be warning, that its not suitable for all type of people. If you are very tall or have a huge weight, might be a problem as the rocks are near each other and you need to get throw there as there are no walk around.
Bella
Great hiking area, and very pretty nature.
Undoubtedly one of the most magical and picturesque places in Poland! No wonder it was used in Narnia trilogy as a film set! 🤩📽️🎬I have been visiting Stołowe Mountains for over 20 years, and no matter whats the season, this place always impresses me 🏞️ Over the years a few things has changed - there are some new carparks for cars and buses, and a few picnic areas.Definitely a must-visit location!
Great hiking area, well marked trails
Trees block the view. Hiking requires lots of walking.
Fabulous fairy tale like place. Amazing nature. Great place to get lost in time and get some good rest.
Its better if youre short and thin😆
One of the most interesting places to visit in Sudetes. Tourist attractions Szczeliniec Wielki on which is an interesting labyrinth and an amazing view, and Skalniak on which is the labyrinth Błędne Skały (Errant Rocks). Highly recommended.
Stołowe Mountains National Park is located in the Central Sudetes, in the south-west portion of the Kłodzko region, at the border with the Czechia. The largest attraction of this national park is its picturesque rock bastions traversed by caves and labyrinths, as well as boulders, known as “mushroom rocks”, featuring shapes not seen anywhere else in Poland.
Beautiful easy hikes. Loved it
The best park I have visited thus far, would go again, I first visited in the summer of 2019, maybe after college I could go again
Its worth visiting, the views are pretty nice.
A very special mountains. The Table Mountains. Definitely worth to visit it!! Enjoy the rock formations and picturesque views and narrow pathways thru the rocks.
One of most scenic national parks in Poland. Hikes are easy, but very rewarding. I could recommend it to geology, biology and hiking fanatics. Its worth seeing both Polish and Czech part of mountains. There are nice trails for at least one week. Autumn is probably the best season for hiking there. Szczeliniec Wielkie and Błędne skały are ticketed extra, but its worth to visit them. Especially off season.
Cool place for an easy hike. You have to go through the rocks, sometimes the path is really narrow. There are two parking lots, one is free and it’s 1h walk to the beginning of the rock trail and the other parking is right at the beginning of the trail and it costs 30PLN. They let only certain amount of cars and you can get in / get out of the parking only at a specific time every hour.
Recommended for trekking, but only on the paths far away from crowds.
So many hiking trails. Very interesting stone formations.
We went there via Radków. It was supposed to be a 3 hour hike to Szczeliniec Wielki but it became a 5 hour hike because we went off road. Still had an amazing time and weve seen some great things!
Place full of beautiful nature and landscapes. Fresh air, forest and rocks perfect to visit in each season
Very beautiful scenery, we have to walk trough labyrinth to reach the top which is very slippery during winter, but worth to see. You can purchase delicious hot chocolate and zapiekanka too
Astonishing views of nature!
Fantastic walking route. Perfect for lite trekking. We did it with 4 y.o. and 8 y.o. and they were amused by the labyrinth!
Its a must see park like similars around but be prepared to squeese yourself throu some places there
The view is amazing. If you come at sun set you have one of the most beautiful sights to see in the country. The walk can be tough for some people but when you get into it, it gets better. Following pathways is also easy since there are plenty of stairs and wooden floors placed to guide you.
I visited places here several times during last 35 years. Some things changed for pop-tourism and I feel rather sad for that. But that happened in top sites: Szczeliniec hill and Bledne Skaly, the last one still amazing for younger kids. But here, in Stolowe Mountains still are numerous wild paths, even tourist routs with several people a day only. It is still pretty natural on track. My advice - good shoes, good map, lots of fresh water - and start walking.
Really interesting. Need to come back in summer. Closed access in winter.
Beautiful sightseeing, easy paths for a walk, even should be good for children.
Beautiful place. Not a tough walk. Good fir weekend trip.
The National Park is located in the Sudety at the Polish-Czech border. The main attraction of the national park are sandstone slabs. It covers an area of about 63 km² of their top part with the highest peak - Szczeliniec Wielki (919 m above sea leveland Skalniak (915 m above sea level). You can enter the summit with a stone staircase that leads from the foothills of the mountains to the tops. The route is very easy, perfect for a few hours walk with sightseeing. Visiting the rocks is paid-entrance, you can buy a ticket at the top. At the top there are view points, bar and a tour of rock fissures. It is worth to buy a ticket to visit Szczeliniec, the views are exceptional, the road leads through narrow rock beds and caves hollowed in a rocky mountain. From the top there is an amazing view of the area. Avoid small shops with memoires and Czech beer at the foot of the mountain, prices are very high and the same products can be found at normal prices in local stores closer to cities. There is a small parking at the foot of the mountain so you can get there by car or bus. Its worth seeing and visiting!
The national park protects the Polish side of the Table Mountains, which stretch across the Polish-Czech border. It’s most appreciated for its characteristic rock formations with strange shapes and channels in the rock forming labyrinths. There’s only limited natural woodland, most of it having been replaced with spruce plantations.
One of the most beautiful national parks !!!!!
Beautiful nature, friendly people, fantastic destination for anyone with family or friends. Good traditional Polish food being a nice bonus.
If you love nature with gorgeous views, this is a place for you.
Very nice and large park. Its just regretful that everything are only in polish
Beautiful place for a trip or city break
This is a great place for those who like to hike but be prepared for a big climb, the views at the top and trail its self make it worth the effort. If you are going to hike this path make sure you bring some sturdy shoes and athletic friends or else it will take you all day.
Lotta stairs to conquer but its all worth it at the top.
Many nice rock. I recommend to visit this area in winter when its not full of people
Yes yes and yes - visit these mountains and you will be satisfied. Interesting routes. Attractive for children. Amazing views.
The national park is beautifull, however services are on poor level There is an entrace fee - what a surprise. Can be paid only in zlotys , no card payment at all. Other currencies might be accepted but exchange rates are random and crazy which increases the price by 100%.
Thor Mountain Park is full of beautiful sandstone rocks hidden in old forrest. There are some spots for clinbing also.
Beautiful nature. The park isnt the biggest one, but what it contains is beautiful: low Mountains, forrests, hiking and cycling trails and of course the highlights Gory Stolowich and Bede Skaly.
Great for a family day out! Easy parking and such a great view from the top! On a hot day bring water! And be ready for plenty of steps!
Beautiful please with awesome views
Very nice area for hiking and mountain biking. Not many skiing options. Beautiful landscapes, totally worth visiting
So beautiful place! Amazing view! Worth to see it!
